Between dowloading issues and Java not working correctly, when the next version coming out? I'm a breath away from switching to IE

I cannot use the Java pull down menus on USAA.com, and downloads cancel when I close Firefox and cannot be resumed. What happened to the old downloader? I have to use IE in order to use USAA.com (primary banking). I tried updating Java, I tried a reinstall on firefox, clearing my cache, everything. No dice. If a new version doesn't come out soon I'm switching to IE... I've been loyal for 10 years.

To get the old downloader back follow the directions below.

Clientless VPN and Java not working correctly

In a recent discovery we found that the newest version of java will not work with our Cisco SSLVPN setup
We are using an ASA5510 with 8.0.4 IOS version and 6.1.3 ADSM version and most users use an mstsc.exe smart tunnel to rdp into our terminal server farm.
Our laptops are being imaged with Java 6 update 3 (this works fine) then upgraded to Java 6 update 11, after which the smart tunnel appears to launch but a connection cannot be established. Reinstalling the older version of Java resolves the problem.
I was wondering if anyone else has encountered a similar problem and found a workaround. Currently, company equipment is not being upgraded to the latest version of Java but personal equipment is a different story.

I have downloaded offline installer and installing it.
i have downloaded and its installing fine for -MS .
after launching the icon in desktop getting following prompts

Whenever your upgrading firefox browser, it updates only the browser it never remove your settings and bookmark. If you like the clean reinstall follow the below steps

Time change for daylight savings and Alarms not working correctly

we have 3 iPhones in our house. 2 were set to auto time change for daylight saving and one wasn't. 1 did the auto time change with out an issue and all alarms worked ok. The other 2 have had issues with not been able to set the alarms ie set alarm for 0630 and it goes off at 0530 even though the time is set correctly. The 1 that was set to autotime worked fine until I switch auto time off, now the alarms on this one wont work either. well they work but just at the wrong time. The 3rd phone will allow alarms to be set, but the alarm will go off an hour earlier and this phone will not allow the alarm to be set for 0630 at all.
Has anyone had this issue and resolved it. It makes getting up for shift work a right pain..

I was researching the issue you are having and recommend a couple of things. First it might be a good idea to reset the device following iPhone, iPad, iPod touch: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting found here http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430
Resetting your device
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If that doesn't quite get the device going again, I recommend restoring the device.

Might even be a good idea to turn off the phone, reseat the SIM card, and turn it back on.

My pc has a virus I just downloaded song from pc to kids ipods now both ipods are not working correctly could the virus be in the ipods, if not why are both not working doing the same thing right after unplugging from pc.

Can an ipod get a virus from a pc that has a virus. After connecting two different ipods to my pc to download music they both are not working correctly, could the virus have transferred to the ipod, if not why would both ipods not work and be doing the same thing? When trying to click on a game it just stays on the main screen.

- I have not heard of a virus that can cause problem with an iDvice that has not been jailbroken.
- Try resetting the iPods. nothing will be lost.

It sounds like you did not purchase it at the Apple store? That doesn't matter - you can still take it to Apple to troubleshoot it.
You can also try to troubleshoot it with the help of the folks here - if you want to do that, let me know and I'll ask that your post be moved to the iPhone forum where you're more likely to get knowledgeable answers, ok.

Keyboard and mouse not working correctly after installing Windows 8.1

I was forced to upgrade my computer to Windows 8.1. My keyboard worked fine until the sytem did a reboot. Numbers on keypad stopped typing and letters were being capitalized when the caps lock was off and the numbers across the top will only type the symbol above the numbers.
I looked up this problem and it seems I need to enter UEFI settings and disable Intel XHCI mode. When I get into the UEFI settings I cannot make any selection from the startup menu. Both my keyboard and mouse stop working.
Any suggestions?

Hi Everyone....I figured it out. Strangely, although I had NEVER used Liquify in PS CC 2014....I just realized that in Liquify Advanced Mode that the "SHOW MASK" option was on by default! I unchecked SHOW MASK. Everything is OK. Whew! Tks!

Menu Widget is not working correctly when applied in Master Page?

Is there a reason why menu widget doesn't work correctly when put in the master page? When I do preview it only highlights certain menu and doesn't highlight other ones? In order to fix this I had to take my menu widget off the master page and had to manually apply the menu widget on each page for it to work correctly? Is there a reason why this is happening and are you guys working on fixing this?
