Bex Analyser Please Help .

Hi All,
I have column showing currency in US Dollars,I want to show with different currency in report(like INR or SGD etc).
When i do changes in Currency Conversion tab for that key figure its show dollar .
Please suggest how to achive this.

Hi Sameer,
        You can use the conversion type 'Average Rate for Current Date' which is present in the currency conversion property for that key figure in query designer. By using this conversion type, you can choose currency you required.
         Or else, you can do the conversion in the transformation. Goto the rule details, in currency txt box, choose Conversion. Then in conversion type, create your target currency.
        Hope this will solve the issue. Assign points, if it helps you.

My problem is to find the right formula to get on the second line of the report the price of Material A1
Both line should be reported on my report
How could I get on the second line the price of Material of the first line.

Vendor analyses - please help .

Out client is looking for specific vendor evaluation from BW . I have checked the standard vendor evaluation cube which provides the score at Delivery time and Material quantity level .
My client is intrested to see the Over all score includes the price at purchase order and price at billing document level .
the criteria we are concerned with for vendor evaluations are as follows:
·         Delivery
o    On-Time Delivery (Statistical GR Date vs. Actual GR Date)
o    Quantity Reliability (Qty to be shipped on PO vs. Qty actually received)
·         Invoice
o    Price Variance (PO Item Price vs. Invoice Item Price)
o    Quantity Variance (PO Line Qty vs. Invoice Item Qty)
These should be related to all purchases for specific purchasing organizations, and should roll up into an overall score (weighted 60% Delivery, 40% Invoice).
Could you please let me know how we will be able to extract above data from ECC .
Do we have any extractor to get score at price level ?

yes , you are right but the invoice vendor evaluation is done at company code level and client is intrested to do it purchase org level same like delivery and time score .
As standard SAP doesn't provide this option , we are checking BW availablity for the same .
And some SAp help they mention that , this could be done in BW .
Any one have any idea ?

IP - Various problems with BEX Analyser - help would be nice

Hi,
we use IP in combination with BEX analyser. We experience certain problems. Does anyone experienced the same issues mentioned below:
1) if a planning function is executed, it is executed twice when your cursor is within the query itself. If it is outside the query when clicking on the button, it is executed once (like it should).
2) Locking: we don't have locking problems, but from the moment two people lock each other once, they need to close their analyser and re-open it (so logon again) in order to be able to start planning again in a non-locked part. If they just change their selection (to the not-lock part) they remain locked!!!
3) planning function with multiple variables: system cannot retrieve values of all variables.

could it be that the variable type you use require a different set of commands?
In general the parameters of the BEx Analyzer follow the rules of the SAp BW 3.5 Webruntime. When reading this detailed documentation you find that depending on the type of variable other names have to be used, e.g. when using a selection option variable you need something line varname_low, varname_high, ...

URGENT (PLEASE HELP) AC Analysis Matrix Singular Error

Hi all (sorry to post on a new thread again Yao) , my project is due tomorrow at 9 am. Therefore please please please help me on this circuit.

OK, I added a current probe to measure the current thru the multimeter (You could also use a current - controlled voltage source) but no matter what I look at I can't get an ac analysis to give a non-zero gain. I simplified the circuit some more and set the option for the node numbers to show. There is something fundamentally wrong in the area of the ac voltage source V1 and the voltage controlled capacitor. As long as the voltage source is in parallel with the capacitor, the capacitor current will be driven only by the voltage source. The capacitor voltage will always be equal to the voltage source V1. The current source A4 doesn't accomplish anything - its current will just be sunk into the voltage source V1. I thought maybe you really meant to measure the voltage controlled capacitor current and feed that back into one of the inputs of A4 but I can't really tell what you are trying to accomplish. Maybe this will give you some ideas.

Bex Query with Hierarchy on Workbook problem please help

I have a problem, Im trying to copy information from specific cells on a query that I opened using Analyser, heres the situation:
Account            Amount    New Col
22110200           15 dlls
-22110201          4 dlls
-22110202          5 dlls
-22110204          6 dlls
121101010000   1dlls          4 dlls
121101020000   1dlls          5 dlls
121101040000   1dlls          6 dlls
4,5 and 6 dlls are amounts from the first 3 accounts, I tried simpy copying the information but for some reaseon when the report reloads the informacion is lost.
Also I using Hierarchy to display the values so if I copy the value from cell Q700 the value will change is the levels on the Hierarchy are expanded.
Is there anyway to do this? please help.

When u execute the query...It will fetch the Global filters data first ....means filters on Default values....then restrictions on Char Restriction pannnel....Then calculate the RKF and CKF,s....Conditions and Exeptions etc.......

Hi Ahmed,
In iTunes, go to the Store in the left menu, select iTunes Store, wehn it opens, make sure you are on the home screen (icon of a house in the menu bar) and from the righthand side, select Account.
Next you will see all of your account information. Just a little don, you will find: Apple ID overview, there it says, Authorised computers; click on the button to deauthorise.
And you should be done.

I just installed the SAP netweaver Bex Analyser Release 2004s,patch 700.
The look and feel of this BEx is different from that of BW 3.5 Bex.
Can anybody suggest me some good documentation about the new Bex Analyser?

BI-IP - Bex Analyser - Adding colums / rows in workbooks

Hi experts,
In BI-IP (BW 7) in Bex Analyser we are facing the following problem:
In the workbook if the user inserts a column nearby the input ready columns and inputs values at the time of transfer / save values, the system automatically copies these values to the next input column. The same if they insert rows and add values, at the time of transfer values the system deletes the row but adds the values in the above row.
Is it how Bex Analyser (workbook) works or we are having a problem?

Please do not take it offesive.
The issue you guys are encountering is due to lack of Training to Users.
Planning is an intelligent activity. Planners are expected to do their home work before they embark on planning and layouts help capturing values in an orderly manner.
It would be wonderful if you restrict the access to queries, else train the users on the impact and relevance.
As you are aware adding a row is possible in WAD.

Need analysis authorization help

Hello Gurus,
Could someone please help me out with my Analysis Authorization issue?
We have a BW query and workbook outputting "Tcode usage" like the following:
UserGroup| Username| Tcodename| Frequency
This one has been running long time without any problems in reporting authorization, but now We want to get it restricted and only allow data associated group HR to display using new Analysis authorization. The scenario for this report is as follows:
1. Rsecadmin >Maintenance> Create New authorization "Group" which consists of 4 characteristics: 0TCAACTVT, 0TCAIPROV, 0TCAVALID and 0TCTUSRGRP(which is the characteristic about group name and already authorizatio relevant). Set 0TCTUSRGRP "EQ HR".
2.Assigned this authorization to a role using PFCG through the S_RS_AUTH. Other authorization objects in this role are: S_BDS_D, S_BDS_DS, S_RS_MPRO, S_RSEC, S_RS_COMP, S_RS_COMP1, S_RS_HIER, S_RS_ICUBE, S_RS_ODSO.
3.In BEx analyzer, set type: Characteristic Values and Variable filled from authorization and value "Selection Option". Unselected "ready for input". Put the characteristic associated with group name to filter windown on the top righ hand side of the Query Designer. Also compare users in PFCG.
The question is the I still get all data about all groups. Looks like the authorization group doesn't work. I used the "execute as " and get no errors back.
Note: I didn't use "generation" to create the new authorization in Rsecadmin

I guess i have found the reason why my authorization dosen't work. I don't activate infoObjects 0TCA* and 0TCT* and infoCubes 0TCA* as well. But another thing I am confused about is :
Should I activate HR and CO businees content for authorizations 0TCA_DS02OTCA_DS05 and 0CCA_O010CCA_O03 before i get started? or should i run generation everytime i create a new authorization using Maintenance in Rsecadmin?

PIE CHART IN BEx ANALYSER

Hello Guys,
Could you please tell me how to display the BEx Analyser graph in Pie.
I have created a query and when run it....its displaying data.
then when i select display as option to graph....its displaying the bar format.
I can find any option to change the format of the graph to pie chart.

hi..
create a query in Bex. And then publish the query from Bex-Analyzser (Business Explorer -> Tools -> Launch in WebBrowser).
you will get the report in Web . Then go to "Graphical display" and select the 'pie chart' .
