Bex query; RSBBS: GOTO ECC transaction

Hello experts,
i have been looking SDN and google this afternoon, but i cannot find my specific problem.
My customer wants to start an ECC transaction from a Bex query.
I created a 'transaction'  RSBBS variant and am testing to see how it works.
From Bex analyzer i use the GOTO and i see an URL which seems logical to me.
http://xxxx.nl:8002/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui?sap-language=NL&sap-client=100&transaction=rsrr_web&okcode=ENTR&G_S_WEB-DEST=BWDCLNT100&G_S_WEB-HANDLE=3OK0Z1JJ597ZBBRJPKKJQSY6M
it gives me an error that mandant, name or ww are not correct.
I'm sure i was able to give the right values for these three, so my guess now is that something on the ECC system is not right.
My customer doesn't use portal/web server functionality in ECC; i think that is my problem.
Do you agree with this or can you give me a clue what to check for?
And can you give me clue where to activate the web server functionality?

Hi,
Check your configuration in RSBBS. This looks simple but sometimes we miss..
Have you selected correct source system with client and transaction code? Once these details are saved. Log into Bex Analyzer and check the option of Goto on that particular object. It will takes you source system transaction.
Please check the below link for more details.

Hope it helps you.

  • Jump to BP transaction from bex query

    Hello all,
    the client I´m working for wants to jump from a bex query to BP crm transaction. I implemented that using RSBBS transaction, but when I execute the query --> Right mouse click --> Go to --> transaction (BP) system goes to a web page; The issue is that I want to access BP transaction via SAP GUI, not via web. Is that possible? If so, what is going wrong?
    Thanks in advance.
    Any documentation or example will be appreciated

  • BBS BEX Query to R3 Transaction - Connect to SAP GUI for HTML not to R3 Backend-TA

    Hi Experts,
    I try to customize a report-report-interface from a bex query to R3 transaktion fs10n.
    I configurated everything in TA RSBBS within BI.
    When I start the BBS from the BEX Query a browser session opends, I have to enter the login data for the R3 system an SAP GUI for HTML is started.
    Several years ago I tried the same and was connected directly to the Backend-Transaction within R3.
    Was there a change within the last year?
    Is it possible to configure somewhere in R3 or BW that I want to be tranferred to the Backend-TA and not to open a SAP GUI for HTML?
    Can someone help?
    Best regards

    Hi Stephen,
    You should try running one of these transaction iViews using Firefox and have Firebug installed (or use HTTP watch in IE). This might show you why the styles are not being loaded, it could be that since the upgrade something has changed in the SICF configuration settings that is blocking the download of the CSS... that is just a guess, but if you use a tool that will show you the HTTP traffic (like Firebug) then you might get a better idea of what is going on.
    Hope this helps,

  • Query Jump from Bex Analyzer to r/3 transactions: error of web server

    Hello,
    I have created a query jump in the RSBBS transaction to go in R/3 through a Bex Query. When i choose the jump in the query anayzer I have the error message:
    <b>No Web server maintained for the presentation of log. system.</b>
    Do you have ever had this message? what is the solution? why do my bex anayzer use a web interface to connect in R/3?
    Thanks a lot!
    Julien

    Hi
    this may be possible by using an openDocument URL.
    http://help.sap.com/businessobject/product_guides/boexir31/en/xi3-1_url_reporting_opendocument_en.pdf
    Still you have to configure the auhtentication connectivity between BOBJ and SAP Backend in the BOBJ CMC console.
    And setup the SSO option in the database configuration panel of your CR reports (this has also to be done in the CMC, just go to Folders, navigate to your report and invoke the context menu. You have to scroll to the the bottom of the panel in order to find the SSP option)

  • Bex query for BW abap report/ transaction

    Hi Experts, Here is a scenario: I developed ABAP program in BW using multiple DSOs for complex logic. Since I cannot use abap program directly in BO reports, I need to develop a query in BW for my abap program. Is it possible to develop a bex query for BW abap report / transaction in BW? I have limited knowledge on BW and BO. Please help me. Thanks in advance Raghu

    First of all thanks for your suggestion Matthew..!
    As you said, I created virtual info cube based on function module.
    In the info cube, I defined (4)dimensions and (1)key figure.
    In the fucntion module, appropriate below parameters defined and code written for the data table (e_t_data)
    CALL ZFM_XXXXXXX
    EXPORTING
    i_infoprov =                " Name of InfoProvider
    i_th_sfc =                  " rsdri_th_sfc: List of Characteristics
    i_th_sfk =                  " rsdri_th_sfk: List of Key Figures
    *   i_t_range =                 " rsdri_t_range: Range List
    *   i_tx_rangetab =             " rsdri_tx_rangetab: Table from Range List
    *   i_first_call =              " rs_bool       First Call
    *   i_packagesize = 100000      " i             Package Size
    IMPORTING
    e_t_data =                  " standard table:  Data Table
    e_end_of_data =             " rs_bool       :End of Data Reached
    e_t_msg =                   " rs_t_msg      : BW: Table with Messages
    Test:
    Right click the info cube and choose "displayed data", immediately it triggered above function module.
    when I see the import parameters data,
    no characteristcs data in i_th_sfc. But, key figures has data (1 record) in i_th_sfk.
    Not sure, Did I missed anything? Please help me.
    Thanks in advance

  • Currency Conversion in BeX Query

    Hello Experts
    I want to have corrency convetion option in Bex Query and have few questions regardig that.
    i am using key figure 0DEB_CRE_LC which has currency as    0LOC_CURRCY.
    1. how do i allow user to enter currecny, using some input variable for currency char.?
    2. do i need to associate some date for this conversion?
    3. what exchange rate will be used?
    Thanks in advance
    Regards
    Sudeep

    Hello Sudeep,
    1. how do i allow user to enter currecny, using some input variable for currency char.?
    Answer: Create a variable on 0Currency and select the conversion type which you have maintained in RSCUR tcode. Make this variable as input ready. This will give the user the flexibility to enter the Currency.
    2. do i need to associate some date for this conversion?
    Answer: Yes you need to associate the Currency conversion type to your conversion. Same can be maintained in RSCUR tcode.
    3. what exchange rate will be used?
    Answer: In RSA1, goto source system tab and right click on the Source system. Select "Transfer exchange rates". This will transfer the exchange rates which are maintained in your ECC side. The exchange rates are maintained in table TCURR. you can check the table in SE16.

  • Calling ABAP report from BEx query

    Good day!
    I want to call ABAP report from BEx query by right-clicking on the field and using context menu. I know that transaction RSBBS is used (sender-receiver connecting), but I don't know how to transfare data to ABAP program
    In ABAP program I want to know at least data from those cell in BEx query, that was right-clicked.

    Depending on your requirement and environment, you have the following options:
    1. Use an info spoke and make selections as you would in a query.
    2. USe FM RS_VC_GET_QUERY_VIEW_DATA_FLAT to send the data to a file and your ABAP can read this file.

  • Error while trying to Open and Delete a BEx Query in Query Designer.

    Hi Experts,
    I have been facing this issue with BEx Query in Designer mode for a couple of days now in Development Environment in BI 7.0.
    I would like to Delete an unwanted BEx Query because I need to give it's name to another BEx Query.
    Whenever I try to Open this Query in BEx Query Designer to Delete, it gives out an error saying:
    "An error occurred while communicating with the BI server.
    As a result of this error, the system has been
    disconnected from the BI server.
    Detailed Description:
    STOP: Program error is class SAPMSSY1 method : UNCAUGHT_EXCEPTION
    STOP: System eror in program CL_RSR and form GET_CHANMID-01 - (see long text)"
    Details text is as below:
    Diagnosis
    This internal error is an intended termination resulting from a program state that is not permitted.
    Procedure
    Analyze the situation and inform SAP.
    If the termination occurred when you executed a query or Web template, or during interaction in the planning modeler, and if you can reproduce this termination, record a trace (transaction RSTT).
    For more information about recording a trace, see the documentation for the trace tool environment as well as SAP Note 899572.
    I have tried with SAP Note 899572, but still it's the same.
    Has anyone faced similar issue? Could you please let me know if you have better ideas or solution?
    Your time is much appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Chandu

    Arun - Thanks a million. You saved me Nine. It worked.
    Could you also please tell me how to rename (Technical) a Query or is it still "Save the Query As" the only way...?
    Points already assigned.

  • Drilldown in BeX Query Designer

    Hello,
    I am new in SAP. I am having problem creating Drill down. I have this report where all the data is Transactional data. So I haven't created any Master Data. So I won't be able to use Navigational Attribute for Drill down purpose and I don't want to use Hierarchy. Is there any possibility of getting the Drill down in BeX Query Designer? Any help will be appreciated.
    Warm Regards,
    Debayan

    Hi Debayan,
    first of all, what is your requirement to create a drill down?
    A drill down in BEx query means showing additional information from report output. There are 3 ways to drill down a query in BEx
    1. Master data-Navigational Attributes
    2. Master data- Hierarchies
    3. Free characteristics
    As you dont have any master data in the report (which is very strange) you can use the additional characteristics provided in the 'Free characteristics' to see how the drill down works in BEx.
    Please share your exact requirement.
    Hope this helps.
    -Swati.

    Hello,
    I have the same problem with Flat mode is not supported! at ... Characteristic.setHierarchy(Characteristic.java:335):
    Open, close, reload of the query does not help.
    Other SDN-thread "500 Internal Sever - Flat Mode is not Supported!" related to transaction RSRT.
    Execution of query via RSRT works, but the problem still persists in the BEx Web Analyzer.
    Could be related to a BEx Web Analyzer "bookmark" ("Personalize Web Application").
    I have not deleted any item. We use SAP BW 7.0 with a patch level approx. 09.2009.
    The "flat-mode" seems to be the  "BEx table mode".
    SAP hints do not seem to fit here:
    - 715820 BW 3.x Front-End Patch 14 (we use BW 7.0)
    - 874825 SAPBWNews for BW 3.x Front-End Support Package 19
    - 874827 SAPBWNews for BW 3.5 Front-End Patch 08 (we use BW 7.0)
    - 905229 update to SAPTableTree
    - 909824 Termination in flat mode when an object is deleted (old?)
    - 909827 Incorrect InfoProvider-dependent characteristic values
    - 910602 Condition includes too many characteristics (usage of deleted elements)
    - 915215 Termination when a query definition is changed (old? visibility of elements?)
    - 968273 Cache with flat files: Exception is not caught (does not apply to given error)
    Any new solutions?

  • Drill down ( Collapsible Row ) Report in BEx query designer ?

    Dear Friends!
       I am supoosed to create a report drill down report for Purchasing History to be precise,  I know that we can have drill down feature using heirarchy but is it possible for Us to have PO & PO item heirarachy ? or any other way to do drill down reporting in SAP BEx Query designer ?
    like my current report is : -
    | Vendor | Purchasing Organisation | Purchasing Group | Plant | PO Number | Item | Material / Service | Description | .... ( keyfigures) |
    Now I am supposed to create a report  in which
    normal view
    | Vendor | Purchasing Organisation | Purchasing Group | Plant | |> PO Number| .... ( keyfigures) | Payment |
    drill down or collapsible view ( please consider the heading as data I am not talking about dynamically change of  headings ).
    | Vendor | Purchasing Organisation | Purchasing Group | Plant | V PO Number | Item | Material / Service | Description | .... ( keyfigures) |
    is there anyway to design the report in above mention manner ? you any input will be appreciated greatly.
    Thank you so much!
    Regards
    Naim

    Hi Naim,
    usually we don't do the transactional data as hierarchy.  not sure the reason behind your requirement.
    we can do one of the below :-
    1. To have the default view as
    | Vendor | Purchasing Organisation | Purchasing Group | Plant | | PO Number| .( keyfigures) | Payment |
    and then user can drill down on rest of the characteristics for detailed view later on.
    2. or if they don't want to drill down on characteristics;-
    we can build 2 reports , one for header level information and then jump to second query for detailed information(item level) using RRI.
    first query:
    | Vendor | Purchasing Organisation | Purchasing Group | Plant | | PO Number| .( keyfigures) | Payment |
    second query:
    | Vendor | Purchasing Organisation | Purchasing Group | Plant |  PO Number | Item | Material / Service | Description | .... ( keyfigures) |
    Let us know if this works out?
    Regards,
    Sakthi.

    Hi,
    I have e newly installed SAP NetWeaver 7.3 and I'm not able to run BEx-Queries. When I start transaction RSRT and try to generate the report for the selected bex query, I get the following short dump:

    If I start the test in RSRV for that query I get:
