Please provide solution it is very very urgent basis..

Hi,
Try giving a input on comapny code variable instead of selection a value form selection and also check the properties of that variable.
Also see if its giving any error message while saving the query in designer.
Hope it helps.

  • Published report will not run; works fine in VS2010 debug mode.

Have 64bit Visual Studio Ultimate installed, CRv13_1 and MSSQL 2008 R2.
The issue I am having is the report work like a champ when I run the web application in debug mode. IE I hit the run button in Visual Studio, However when I publish the application the report will not run. I get various errors depending on how I have connected to report to MSSQL. I have tried ODBC and OLE DB connections. I have tried Windows authentication and MSSQL user login. The results are the same. the report works fine in debug mode but will not work when published. The most common error message is :
    Error
    Database logon failed.
    or
Login failed for user 'NT AUTHORITY\NETWORK SERVICE'
Depending on how I am authenticating. I have Google this issue and there are tons of posts about it but no solutions. Any help would be appreciated.

See if the article [Troubleshooting Guide to Database Connectivity Issues with Crystal Reports in Visual Studio .NET Applications|http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/index?rid=/library/uuid/b0225775-88c4-2c10-bd80-8298769293de] helps.
I'd settle on the prefered connection method and troubleshoot that. Use the search box in the top right corner of this web page. It will bring up KBases, blogs, wikis, articles and more. Also, search these forums. There is lots of info here and lots of answers.

  • Bex Report Designer is not previewing changes in QA

    Hi All,
Please help... i am getting an unusual problem with bex report designer. I have created a bex report using report designer. This was then transported in to QA. In QA i opened my created report using report designer and clicked the print version button to preview the report in PDF format. This all worked correclty, however i noticed a spelling mistake in one of the custom text fields i am using.
So i put the report in a transport in dev, made the changes in dev and previewed in dev. Everything is ok here and i can see the change i made.
After this i transported the report to QA and when i open the report in report designer to preview the data i can see in design mode that the custom text field does HAVE the change i made so it is correct. The problem i am getting is though when i preview to see in PDF format the image i get is of the old preview with the spelling mistake.
SInce i have made more changes and i can see the changes in DEV and in QA in design mode but when i preview it shows me the old image from the 1st preview.
Please can anyone shed any light into this issue.
    Kind regards
    Forhad

  • KF value is not Displayed in BEx Report ..where as cube, mpro end ok..!!

    Hello Experts,
I ran a bex report. In that report KF some NetsSalesValue has not displayed in the BI Report for all the Sales Organiations where as other KFs has displayed the value for all the Sales Organizations.
For that i checked my end. BI report is pulling data from Cube --> Multiprovider --> Bex Report.
I myself checked KF value into Cube level, multiprovider KF level value is avaialable.
And also i checked, in the query properties is there any filters, RKF, CKF, but...i found the KF is a basic KF.
And also..i checked the whether the rollup has happened..properly or not and ran the query but no use.
For your info upto 3 days..back KF value has presented in the report. After that only this issue has encounterred.
I am in confusion where the exact issue will be.
If any body faced this kind of scenario is your project, kindly reply me.
For any more clarifications i will respond you immediately.
    Thanks,
    SN

    Hi,
    check aggregates,index etc for cube
check key figure selection as well in Multiprovider for respective Infoprovider
just create test query on Infoprovider and then on Multiprovider and see..
Check RSRT - regenerate the query
also see there are various options like execute+debug has ....just check them
    Thanks and regards

    Any clues anyone?

get a SIGSEGV every time I use debug mode in EclipseSo if you create a hello world program and then debug it, it crashes?
If yes then the causes would be
    1. The VM(s) binaries are corrupted. Plural as it depends on how you run Eclipse.
    2. Something else installed on your system at the OS level (or at least always running) is corrupt or is corrupting the OS.
    3. A hardware failure.

  • Bex Report Designer: Error while loading metadata

    hi experts,
I am working with BI7 Bex Report Designer and we are using SP9. when i tried to load the Query in Report Designer its giving below error.
    Error while loading metadata.
Check the Query and portal settings.(but the query is working fine in Analyzer).
and its giving message class RSBOLAP, message number 018 and Description is java system error: incoming call is not authorized.
when i double click the error its giving below error details.
    Diagnosis
An error occurred in the BI components on the SAP J2EE Engine.
    System Response
    Procedure
Contact your system administrator to have the error analyzed in detail.
    Procedure for System Administration
Start the Visual Administrator, log on to the SAP J2EE Engine and choose "<J2EE_SID>" ->"Server" -> "Services" -> "Log Viewer".
The file "defaultTrace.trc" includes detailed information about the error that occurred. In Windows, you can find this file in the Log Viewer under "Cluster <computer name>" -> "Server <server number>" -> "<drive>:\usr\sap\<SID>\JC<INSTANCE>\j2ee\cluster\server<NUMBER>\log". ". In Unix, the file is located under "/usr/sap/<SID>/JC<INSTANCE>/j2ee/cluster/server<NUMBER>/log".
If the file does not include enough detail about the error, you can increase the log level to obtain more information. To do this, choose "<J2EE_SID>" -> "Server" -> "Services" -> "Log Configurator". On the "Locations" tab page, choose "com" -> "sap" -> "ip" -> "bi" -> "webapplications". Using the selection list on the right side of the screen, you can increase the log level, whereby "DEBUG" represents the log level with the most information. You can save your settings by choosing the "Save" icon. The change to the log level is active immediately. Once you have successfully analyzed the error, you should set the log level back to its default value using the appropriate pushbutton; continuous writing to the log file negatively affects the overall performance of the system.
could you plz suggest me how to rectify the problem.
    regards
    vadlamudi

    Hi vadlamudi
The error message RSBOLAP 018 means, that the ABAP stack can't communicate with the Java Stack.
    1) Please ensure, that the user, used for the Report Designer, is valid in the Portal too. Depending on the user management setup this means that there either needs to be the same user or an assigned user in the Portal.
    2) In case the user is valid, it means a basic misconfiguration according to note 937697. In this case please run the Support Desk Tool and ensure, that all checks are green. Please ensure, that the latest version of the Support Desk Tool is used.
    Regards,
    Janine

  • Text elements in the Bex Report

    Bex Gurus,
When we execute the Bex report, it will display with icons on top as Chart, Filter and Information - Information will display all the text elements as standard. Right now I want to modify these standard elements and disply the text elements which are more meaningful to any business user when they execute any report/query in Bex

Right Side: (based on Variable Enteries/selection)

    Version:
I want to implement this in Bex excel report when we click on Informaion icon which will show the text elements as explaiend above. (I know it is possible with WAD when we design the code)

You may do this in a workbook inserting Buttons in design mode.
I dont think so there is an easy way to accomplish this when a report is executed.
May be possible with lot of coding....

  • Reg usage of break point in debug mode

    Dear experts,
I want to know how to go to a particular line in debugging mode. Suppose for example, if a program contains main program and includes.  I want to go to a particular line in debugging mode in the includes. How can i go? kindly help me.
    tks

    Hi Prabhakar,
Using break points you can stop the execution control at that break point.
If you use only F5, F6, F7 for debugging you don't need of break points.
But if you want to stop at particular statement while running the report (using F8) you should use Break Point. Ofcourse you can use watchpoints also.
Watchpoint --- If you put watch point execution control stops at the particular statement when the value of watchpoint is reached.
    Reward If Helpful.

  • Call function in debug mode

    Hi,
when I´m on the test function screen of se37, I can run the function in debugging mode and it´s starting with the debugger on the first code line.
Is it also call a function from a report in this debugging mode?
    thank you!
    reward points guaranteed

    Thank you for your answers...
Let me explain a little bit more in detail, what I want to do.
I have an XML interface function which is going to be called by an
external application about RFC, reading binary data,
interpreting that as XML and doing something in the SAP system afterwards.
As the system is a 4.6C I can´t debug externally, I want to provide
a debugging function in a monitoring application for that.
As people are using the monitoring, which are not familiar with all
the code behind that, I want to start the debugging mode by myself,
    without setting a breakpoint.
Let me describe it like this:
When you type in /H in the transaction field in the SAP menu bar, the
debugging mode is going to be started for further actions.
All I want to do is starting that /h debug mode without typing anything
in the transaction field, just inside of the report.
    How can I do that?

  • Is there a debug mode for Presenter SWF published to a custom LMS?

I've implemented a simple LMS interface (API_1484_11) in JavaScript on the page that loads the SWF generated by Presenter. The SWF is playing fine, and it appears to call the API_1484_11.Initialize() method, but then doesn't call any of my Commit(), GetValue(), or SetValue() methods. Weird thing is that is used to work fine, and I can't figure out what I changed that would break it.
In my Presenter presentation, the Quiz Manager settings have these reporting options:
    - LMS set to SCORM (Manifest set to 2004 type)
    - Report data set to quiz results and slide views
    - Pass or fail set to report complete/incomplete
    - Score set to report as percent
    - Level set to report interactions and the score
Is there any way to tell the SWF to run in a debug mode so it will provide some sort of information or feedback about what it is doing regarding the LMS interface?

Ugh. So I quit out of my browser and restarted, and now the Presenter Flash is communicating with my mini-LMS interface properly. After Initialize() it calls getValue() and asks for cmi.location, cmi.score._children, etc. values. I think I've seen this happen before, where if I accidentally have two windows with a Presenter Flash object in them, they both stop working with the LMS API until I quit and restart my browser. (I'm on a Mac with Firefox but have seen this on Windows with IE, too, I think.)
But still, I'm wondering if there are any debugging tricks with the Presenter Flash object... or any API documentation for it?

  • Hiding characteristics in the BEx reporting

My query is Hiding characteristics in the BEx reporting.
I want to see only query title, variable and result.
I want Hide or delete characteristics ( which are free characteristics and rows in Design mode of query) at query level.
    can I do this ?

Ok. I was thinking you were in 7.0.
anyway, in your query remove all the characteristics in your rows and the query will show only the result then. (no drill-down)
For technical name and variable info. in analyzer, go to Layout and choose Display text elements.

  • RBCA_PP_SIF_RUN_PP_TEMPLATE generates spool only in debug mode

    Hi
I have developed a PP report based on the templaate RBCA_PP_SIF_RUN_PP_TEMPLATE. The report is a simple selection and is supposed to write to the spool (success or error messages). Using WRITE <text> should write to the spool for every job under this parallel processing.
When I am debugging the code, or simply set a breakpoint (BCADEBUG) and execute, spool appears. But if i simply run the job with same variant (no debugging, no BCADEBUG), the spool does not appear.
Any suggestions why this is happening ans how to generate spool in all modes.
    Regards
    Vikram

    Hi Billy,
    this is nasty.
My strategy for this situation would be to start 2 browsers.
In 1 browser session I use the Apex Application Builder and in the other (in private/ incognito) browser I run the application in debug mode.
The debug information can be viewed in the Application Builder using the Utillities or by using the URL to the debug screen directly like so
    http://localhost:8888/pls/apex/f?p=4000:19:<APP_SESSION>:::RIR,19:IR_APPLICATION_ID,IR_PAGE_ID:<APP_ID_OF_APP_TO_DEBUG>,<PAGE_TO_DEBUG>regards,

  • Enhancement works only in debug mode

    Hi all,
Need help with the issue that I have.I have written an enhancement , in one of the includes that is being called by MIRA(LMR1MF1H) tcode, to set the document type , based on condition.Below is the code snippet :
Import the flags from memory id
import is_invo from memory id 'IS_INVO'.
import is_crme from memory id 'IS_CRME'.
import is_pdf from memory id 'IS_PDF'.
    * Check whether PDF or scanned document and change doc type to Y3 or Y4
      if is_pdf eq 'X'.
    *    Check if invoice
         if is_invo eq 'X'.
           rbkpv-blart = 'Y3'.
         elseif is_crme eq 'X'.
           rbkpv-blart = 'Y4'.
         endif.
      wait up to 1 seconds.
      endif.
    * Free memory
      free memory id 'IS_INVO'.
      free memory id 'IS_CRME'.
      free memory id 'IS_PDF'.
Now, When I execute directly, the document type is not getting set...I assume the control is not going to my code at all..as there is no other place where the doc type gets modified...
However, when i execute in debug mode, it works perfectly fine...Any inputs on why this behaviour ?

    Hi ,
I am not sure what is going wrong..I think the control is not going to the enhancement point at all ! I set a default value for the flag and still the document type doesnt change..Let me explain the flow of the code, that is written, it may help you guys in understanding..
I have a Z report, in which, I am preparing the bdc data and also setting the flag is_pdf, based on some criteria.
In this Z report, I am calling transaction MIRA.Now, MIRA tcode is calling FORM init_miro( in the include LMR1MF1H).Just before this form ends , I have my enhancement code(given above in my first post) written, to change  the doc type...
Now, to test, I set the is_pdf flag to 'X', but still the doc type doesnt change...so I assume the control is not going there at all
Also, I am not sure how to use the shared buffer concept..please suggest..
