BF03665A32 compatability matrix

I have failed ST376753LC drives on rp3410 but replacement drives supplied ar Compaq BF03665A32 drives are these compatabile or not...

Hey there,
The short answer is: yes, your laptop should be supported. I use a PowerBook G4 (PowerPC) and can use PocketMac.
That said, while RIM's software support for Mac is getting better, it's a slow process and as you'll note from various topics on the Mac board, there's no guarantee that things will work seamlessly the first time around. A little patience is necessary.

  • Screen compatability help needed

    Hi,
I have used the T400 for last 4 years and still like it as my laptop.  I like it so much in fact that I have just about worn mine out (usb's don't work, keys are wearing out, etc).  I recently purchased a very lightly used one on ebay and would like to migrate all my stuff over there and have the joy of a fully functioning computer.
One problem - the newer T400's LED screen just is not very bright - not nearly as bright as my older T400.  So I would like to switch screens.  I have watched a video on youtube and it seems manageable to do myself, but it is slightly risky that I can end up really breaking something.  So before I do it, I want to try to verify that the screens are compatable.  I have noticed that the upper bezel (I think that is what it is called - it is the part of the screen frame that hold the thinklight and camera) is slightly wider than mine.  Strange.
I have measured the screens and they appear identical.  My current computer is a type 7417 and the new one is a 2768.  Can anyone tell me if my screens can be switched without issues?
    Thanks for any help!
    Jason

  • Hp pavilion 1170uk graphics card compatability

I have a HP Pavilion 1170uk and have tried upgrading graphics card to a Gigabyte Nvidia Geforce GTX770 4GB.
When I start the computer it stops at hp boot screen and says press esc to enter startup menu and beeps about every 10-15 seconds.
I have put in a new 700w psu to run the card and when I put the original graphics card that came with the computer it starts up fine with this psu.
This sounds like a bios problem and I have the latest bios from the hp website installed on machine.
Is there a new bios coming out or can I get one from anywhere to run this graphics card or do I have to upgrade the motherboard aswell ?

    LeonaL, welcome to the forum.
There are two things to consider when upgrading to a dedicated video card: 1) the wattage required tto run it properly as you mentioned and 2) the length of the card.
You could easily get by with a 600W to 650W Corsair PSU.  Corsair makes enthu siast quality PSU's for reasonable prices.
To assure that the card will fit, you can make a template the size of the card and try in the space provided.  Add one inch for any additional power connectors on the card.  It should fit with room for good airflow.
The reason for a video card not working in a computer is they require UEFI Firmware in the motherboard, instead of a standard BIOS.
EVGA video cards before the GT 650 don't require UEFI. You can call each manufacturer's Tech Support to asure that it will work in your computer.

  • LV7.1 & Win2K SP4 Compatability?

I had LV7.0 Professional Development Suite installed on an Allen Bradley 6155 without problems. The 7.1 CD's came in, so I installed those on the same machine. When LV7.1 is running I open Help>VI,Function, & How-To Help, and use the Index tab search for a control for the front panel (like "buttons->front panel") or a function (Like "add") and double click to open it's "Help" screen. The "Help" screen opens fine, but the "Place on Function Block", "Place on Block Diagram", "Find..." and "Place..." features in the help screen don't do anything. No errors, no warnings, the pallets don't open, nothing... The screen kind of flashes like the program is off doing something, but nothing happens. Stopped 7.1 & started 7.0, and these featur
    es work fine.
Disabled the virus checker & there is no internal firewall.
Tried a virgin install of 7.1 on an brand new AB PC, & got the same
thing. (So maybe it was the AB brand of PC) Then tried a virgin install
on a real IBM with Win2K, and got the same results. (AB installed the
Win2K on the AB machines, I installed the Win2K from CD on the IBM machine)
Checked services to see if VI Server was running, stopped it, restarted it, set
it to manual start, the auto start...made no difference.
Looked to see what ports VI Server is using by doing a http:/localhost:3580/dumpinfo?, and both 7.0 & 7.1 are
using ports in the same range, so that shouldn't be an issue. Only difference was with LV7.1 there was an extra entry that's not there in 7.0: "National Instruments/LabVIEW/Labview/7.1/OpenViFromHelp" HTTP/1.0 302 Moved Temporarily Server:LabVIEW Help/1.0.0 Connection:Close Location http://127.0.0.1:1461/OpenVIFromHelp?% I think this is the issue, but don't know wh
y or how to fix it.
I've pointed all of this out to Austin, but they are stumped...now they want me to try an install on a XP machine...I don't know what that will prove...I have to use Win2K.
    Anybody seen anything like this?
    Mike

    Hi Mike,
This is strange behavior indeed! Here are a couple questions for you to get more information regarding the situation:
    1. Are you trying to use the Find/Place feature in LabVIEW 7.1 while LabVIEW 7.0 is concurrently open and running?
    2. As far as the OpenVIFromHelp item showing up in the dumpinfo for LabVIEW 7.1, this should not be causing the problem. OpenVIFromHelp was simply a new feature in 7.1, hence it not existing in 7.0. You should see separate items in the list for DropControlOrFunction and HighlightPaletteMenuItem. If he is comfortable doing so, it might be useful to get the entire dumpinfo output when you have (a) just 7.0 open, (b) just 7.1 open, (c) both open.
    3. Can you launch the NI Example Finder in 7.1 and open exam
ples from it? Example Finder makes significant use of Service Locator as well and it will be a good indication of whether the Service Locator is working properly.
    Thanks again!

  • Internet Modem compatability

I have a Verizon MI424WR wireless router for my FIOS system. I am about to purchase a new computer that has wireless capability; but uses the new 802.11a/c protocol. Do my present router support that?  If not, what options do I have other than using a wired ethernet connection?

The most recent revisions of the MI424WR support only 802.11n up to 130 Mbit/s. (You should mention the revision of you router when inquiring here; Actiontec has made significant functionality changes to this router without changing the model number.)
That said, the WiFi on your new computer is almost certainly backward-compatible to 802.11n. It should work fine; and 130 Mbit/s is more than likely plenty fast for your Internet connection.
The primary advantage to 802.11ac speeds for most users is connectivity between WiFi devices on the same local network. If you want to take advantage of those speeds, I suggest getting an 802.11ac-capable wireless access point.

  • Add in cards compatability

I just purchased a HP Envy h8-1414. The OS is Windows 8 64bit.  I need to add a second sound cardx to this system. Plus I also need to add an RS-232 serial card. I currently have a Sound Blaster Audigy or a Sound Blaster Live cards. I need the second sound card for communications software that I plan to install on the computer. The primary sound card will handle normal use connected to microphone and speakers. The second sound card will connect to an external interface.
So will I be able to add an RS-232 serial card and a second sound card to this computer?

Problem solved in about 20 seconds:
1.For non-bootable RAID Array disable both Raid controllers in the Bios.
2.Leave SATA enabled on all 4 HD's obviously
3.NVRaid and SATA drivers have already loaded at F6 stage of initial XP install
4.Go into Disk Management and configure and assign Raid array from there.
So now the 2 Seagate 300 NCQ drives are configured in a Raid 0 array while the 2 WD Raptors are handling system and key applications respectively.

To be clear - is all you are looking for to use the Time Capsule as an 802.11 access point for the PS3?
If that is the case - yes, both are Wi-Fi certified devices.  Note that the PS3 is only a 2.4 GHz device and won't be able to use the benefits offered by the Time Capsule's second band.  Also, some access points are not capable of simultaneous 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz operation, I am unsure of whether the Time Capsule is in this category.
Of course, my opinion regarding this combo is best stated by Randall Munroe of XKCD Comics - http://xkcd.com/654/

  • Hp 7410 compatability with ipad

I am trying to achieve compatability for my HP 7410xi with my Ipad 3.  Perhaps I need a soft ware update from HP?

    Hi,
The HP Officejet 7410 does not support AirPrint and therefore you will not be able to print from the iOS print menu itself, however you may still print via the HP ePrint mobile app, available from teh Apple App Store.
You may find the steps to get and use the app in the document below:

  • HP Photosmart 6510 compatability w/ IPad

The company I work for uses IPads 8.1.1 for all of their Field Work. The Printer that they gave me is the HP Photosmart 6510. I am able to successfully use this to Print from the IPad. I need to Scan from the 6510 to the IPad, Can you help?

    Hi,
Your 6510 is both AirPrint and eprint capable so you should be able to print from your ipad.
In order to scan wirelessly to your device, I recommend you download the HP all in on printer app and use the scan to device option within the app.
When you've downloaded the app, you'll need to ensure that both your printer and phone are connected to the same wifi network.
If you ahve any problems with the setup, let me know.

  • Back level versions of the OCM (Options Compatibility Matrix) ???

I have a copy of the March 2013 OCM, and the June 2013 update.  But I cannot find a way to get the interim April and May versions.  I have sent requests, and received no response.  Does anyone know where you can get those interim copies ?  Or, can anyone say with certainty that there were no interim versions, it jumped straight from March to June ?

Newer vi's can't be run by older versions of LabVIEW. As you have noted LabVIEW 8 can save vi's that don't use LV 8 specific features to 7.1. Version 7.1 could save back to 7.0, etc. While you may not have any incompatible features in your vi's, they will be incompatible from the point of view that they are written in the newer version. If the vi's are developed in the earlier version they usually can be loaded by the the new version (I loaded a LabVIEW 5.1 vi today in 7.1, it complained about some things that had changed such as coercion of values, but otherwise loaded and compiled.)

    Hi,
Be sure to have a full set of the  564 ink cartridges available (all the 5 ink cartridges are required), as well ensure you have the latest drivers installed on your computer, then contact HP support to reset the printer for your new location.
