BFFA0001 with the hpe3640A getting start example

I'm trying to automatically step by 50 mV each time the E3640A agilent DC power supply. I'm doing this with a time loop in which every second I update the voltage level input of the example vi which comes with the driver (version 2.4). I constantly obtain the following error: HEX 0x BFFA0001. This I found it does not depend on my loop, but I also have when running the example stand alone (no loop). Even though there is this error, I found the loop can proceed correctly but the time is not more correct (it takes more time when the error occurs). I'm wondering what is it the problem...any feedback will be greatly appreciated.

Since you are getting the following error: "BFFA0001 Instrument error detected. Call the Error Query VI and examine the error.", there is probably a command that is being sent to the instrument which the instrument does not understand. You should run NI-Spy to see which command fails.

If we are using multiple match transforms and consolidate the final output we will use associate transform .
Let me explain with one example based on data quality blue prints for USA .
We have customer/vendor data .     We need to find the duplicates .
1. First we will find the duplicates on   Name and Address
2. Second we will find the duplicates on Name and Email
3. Third we will find the duplicates on Name and Phone
Here why we need to find the duplicates in multiple stages . If we are finding the duplicates on combination of Name, Address, Email and Phone we may not get proper duplicates   as we are finding the potential duplicates . That's why we are finding the duplicates on different combinations .
In this case we will get the different group numbers for each match combination . Each combination name is there .
We want to consolidate and give the group number to the whole set of duplicates . We will pass these 3 match groups to associative transform and generate the consolidated match group for the input data.

Where do I find the interactive "Getting Started with Lion" video?

Hello from England.
Please be nice to me and talk in a language an OAP might understand.
I recently installed Lion on my MaBook. I did this in my lunch hour at work and took a tad longer than I anticipated. Anyway, after the shut down and re-start up popped an interactive "getting started with Lion" video which showed you all of the new touch gestures etc.
Anyway - as ym lunch hour was running out I closed my MacBook with the intention of watching this video later so I could learn all of the exciting and clever things.
Yes, you guessed it, throughout the day whilst I was busy, busy, busy working, not on a my mac ,but on my office PC (uk) the battery ran flat and I had to plug in and re-start again at home.
Did the "getting started on Lion" video pop up again? No. And for the life of me I can't find it anywhere. Not even trustworthy YouTube.
Can anybody tell me how I make this appear again pretty please?

To open your domain file in Lion or to switch between multiple domain files Cyclosaurus has provided us with the following script that you can make into an Applescript application with Script Editor. Open Script Editor, copy and paste the script below into Script Editor's window and save as an application.

WARNING: iWeb Switch Domain will overwrite an existing Domain.sites2 file if you select to create a new domain in the same folder. So rename your domain files once they've been created to something other than the default name.

For example Host('start '||:path||'', NO_SCREEN ); -> is correct if the path is c:\ ... but if the path is more longer with space in white for example C:\Documents and settings ... i put the quotes "C:\Documents and settings ..." but Doesn't open the image, another window (MSDOS) open... :S

Problems with viewlets in "Getting Started with Oracle9iAS Portal"

Vewlets, which should show how to do things in Oracle Portal do not work in ANY browser on my machine. Tried Microsoft IE 6, Netscape 7, Mozilla 1.3 and latest Opera. Installed JRE 1.4.1_02 and plugins are enabled everywhere. What is happening? I have win 2000 and all the other applets (including sun java showcase ones) do work. Where can I get non-viewlet version of this getting started kit? Thank you.

If you haven't done so already, I would suggest removing iTunes and its components and updating to the latest version of iTunes for Windows. This link will help with any installation issues:

JSF Getting Started Example not Working

I've installed and configured JSF according to CoreJSF 1st Chapter example "A simple JSF Application" (available at http://horstmann.com/corejsf/). The only different thing i've done is to put the jsp pages in a separate folder within the root web application folder. The JSF seems to be properly configured, since i'm able to see the UI components in the login page. However, once I click login button, the application takes me once more to the login page (same page that put the request). I figure it is a problem with the navigation file, I've changed the faces-config.xml including "jsf/welcome.jsp" as target since "jsf" is the separate directory I created for JSP files. I does not work (not getting exceptions though). Any prompt help will be highly appreciated.

Cant get past the "lets get started" page!!!!!

When I click on the "ipod" section in my itunes library, theres a page that says "Lets get started" and tells me to name my ipod and all that. the problem is that the right part of the page is cut off and i cant reach the options that i assume are there. Theres no bottom scroll; i cant reach it. Because of this, i cant add pictures, video, or change my settings. I have Windows 98. PLEASE HELP!

yeah... the minimum system requirements for iPod nano are XP or Vista. If you can get your hands on such an OS, go for it, otherwise, um.... i'm sorry i can't help much more, i think you'll need to find a way to access a computer with XP or Vista. sorry i couldn't help you more!

ODD issue with the "timeline" getting moved over

notice the left side of the timeline how its been moved from the left side of the full interface window. even if i close the projects tab on the left the timeline "still" does not default to the very left side. what happened is i was pulling a clip away from the far left and i actually pulled the timeline instead. ive thrown away preferences and set as best back to any defaults i could find but nothing fixes this oddity.
also, it has nothing to do with the scrolling bars!
i ended up just throwing away the whole app and am now downloading the full program again. has to be a bug?

something is different still i think? zero meaning the beginning is just zero. in your example you have an audio clip laying further to the left than where your 00:00 actually is. how is it that you can get a piece of your audio to cross over that point and butt up to the side of project panel? my clips only go to the edge of that opening, not in it?
id swear it wasnt there until i notice i pulled it over. maybe im dreaming.

EDIT: yep, i must be on drugs or something because its there on some tutorials ive been watching. never noticed before until i did something then there was the illusion that i made that space. id still like to know though how you got your file to lay to the left of zero. thanks for your help!

Cannot open the page "Get Started"

After i instaled the oracle 11g XE on windows XP i open "Get Started".I get this :"Firefox can not establish a connection with this server 127.0.0.1:8080."
On sql plus i write:"conn / as sysdba" and i get "Connected to an idle instance".
Then for "shutdown abort" => "instance shut down"
Then for "startup" =>
ORA-1078,ORA-01565:eror in identifying file 'C:\oraclexe\app\oracle\product\11.2.0\server\dbs/spfileXE.ora'
ORA-27041:unable to open file
OSD-04002:unable to open file

Hello,
seems something went wrong during your installation when your spfile is not there or is not readable or somehow corrupted.
You should check your installation logs for errors, starting with cloneDBCreation.log in C:\oraclexe\app\oracle\product\11.2.0\server\config\log on your machine. That's where the creation of the spfile would be logged.

Hi,
I was going back to take a look at the Getting started with ETL.
After the upgrade to 10.1.3.5.3 (and also 10.1.3.6.0) I cannot access the sample environment.
I upgraded the sample repository but the message still states that the repository is outdated.
Should I setup a full new environment to get back the ability to look at the getting started?

What's with the slow gets from my ResultSets?

I have two databases, an Omnis and a MySQL. I'm trying to copy the data from the Omnis into the mysql, but the getXXX(int i) methods acting on my ResultSet are LUDICROUSLY slow... to transcribe a meager 2660 entires (with 15 columns) takes a staggering 25.3 minutes! Now, what's interesting here is Microsoft Access can have the data in about 3 seconds. Same thing applies when moving from MySQL to access or one MySQL database to the other.
I am forced to assume that the problem lies with the ResultSet object that the JDBC:ODBC bridge that I'm using to access Omnis from Java. It's also confirmed that the culprits are the get methods, as I can iterate through the entire ResultSet with successive calls to rs.next() and get all the way through it in a couple seconds so long as there are no getXXX() methods in the while loop. Is this problem surmountable? What gives? O_o

It's not the JDBC-ODBC bridge either... as I can pull data from Omnis > Access > MySQL in about 1/1000th of the time it takes me to go from Omnis > MySQL.

How do you start the Brochure "getting started" piece?

I'm sure it's obvious to the folks that use this software how to use this download, but can't see anything that indicates how.
Yes, I downloaded the files and they went into my download folder on my MacPro, I then decided to move them to another more convenient to find folder. This is what the unzipped contents of the folder look like:
The contents of the "read me" file look like this:
Opening the folder in Finder does nothing more than display the contents as shown as above.
There are no other clues, that I can find, on how to start the Getting started tutorial.

To get started, just start watching the first video in the series on the same page you grabbed the file download from. As you progress through the content, the presenter will let you know when you need to bring in the various sample files you downloaded.
