Hi - I'm trying to set up a background image swap where when the user is viewing the site and clicking on links, the background image will change. You'll see the soldier one there now and I have others.
The JS file the 2 HTML pages are linked to doesn't seem to be working [see above].
Any ideas why it's not working, or is there a better JS file anyone may be aware of that does what I'm looking for?

Hello - I wanted to post an update on this topic and am wondering if someone can still help me. I figured out a way to make background images change on refresh. You can see it here:

I added a piece of JS to make the wrapper images change. Although the image swap works now, this is really not a true background image swap because it is not swapping images in the body tag. What I'd really like to do now is go into the body tag and somehow point it toward this JS code so that when the page is refreshed, it will pick up the image swap array. I'm not sure if this is possible though.
Is there a way to do this?

I tried to got to edit to follow the suggestion of ~graffiti I found that the "Show Large Images" was already checked. I since have found that if I download the .pdf file and then open the download everything appears as it should. Previously, when I clicked on the emailed .pdf file it would automatically open without having to download the file. I'm not sure why it is requiring the extra steps of downloading the and then opening the downloaded file before the images with appear. Any ideas why the extra steps are now required?

The movie is not in a format that QuickTime Player understands. You may need to install additional software to open this type of file. But when I go to the help page it says that Quick TIme will play MPEG. Any help would be appreciated a lot. Thanks!

My iPhone cannot connect to iTunes. It says I need to update to 11.0.5 to use iTunes with my iOS 7 iphone 5 but still won't work, any ideas?

I just downloaded and updated to the new iOS 7 software today for it's release. But when I plug my phone into my usb and then into my macbook, it won't work on iTunes. It says it's not compatible and I need to update to the latest iTunes which they say is 11.0.5. When I go online and download the iTunes installer and download the new update, it works out fine and I don't seem to have any trouble with it but as soon as it opens iTunes when the installer finishs, the mesage about compatibility comes up again even though I just updated to 11.0.5. If anyone has any idea, let me know! I'm hoping that maybe it's just a glitch with the new iTunes that needs to be fixed up?

Thank you for your question. iOS 7 requires iTunes 11.1. First, I recommend trying to obtain the update by going to the iTunes menu and selecting Check for Updates.

If you continue to get the message that iTunes is up to date, you can download the latest version of iTunes here:

Once the file downloads, double click on the installation file that downloaded to initiate the installation.

BT homehub 4 and ipads; iphones won't work any ideas?

hI im having real problems with new BT homehub 4 swapped over from EE foe same reasons, but now can logon onto network but not internet, tried resetiing the router, switched off all but one ipad and still doesnt connect, tried switching off the 5ghz changed channels and more still useless....any ideas ?

Greg, although some methods (rice, hair dryers, etc) have been somewhat successful with water damage, there still lies the issue of safety. Improper use after liquid damage can cause shocking, and/or shortages that can lead to fire. I strongly urge anyone with liquid damage to proceed with extreme caution when using a device after choosing one of those methods. The best option is to always seek a replacement. Albeit, checking with the carrier to see if they have insurance or are eligible for an upgrade on their device, is certainly an option.

I get the message "...snow leopard cannot be installed on this computer" then i opened up the optional installs package on the cd and I got the message "Optional Installs must be installed on a system with Mac OS X 10.6 or greater" .......... any ideas?

If your providers SMTP server accepted the sent mail from Thunderbird it is done. What happens after that is your providers operation. When the message did not arrive back to you was the message in your Inbox on the server when you checked? Thunderbird downloads messages from your Inbox on the server. If the message is not there, it cannot download it.
Comparing mail sent thru SMTP servers and web mail means nothing. Complete different process through different servers.
All it proves is that you know your username and password.

Mac Mail not receiving all of my mail -- any ideas why not or how to fix?

My Mac Mail is my main work account -- I'm a freelancer & work from home. In the past month or so, about 4 work contacts have asked me why I haven't responded to emails I never received, which leads me to wonder how many other emails I haven't received. I don't care as much about dropped personal ones, but dropped work emails are a serious bummer.
Any idea how I can check what's going on or fix somehow? Not sure whether this is a Mac Mail issue or something else.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have a late 2010 MB Air (mini display port) and a new 2013 iMac (thunderbolt) which I would love to use as an external display. I suspect that target display mode won't work.Any ideas for how to achieve this?

According to the TDM support page, this isn't possible. I tried it with a Mnidisplay port to minidisplay port cable without success. Its a shame that thunderbolt doesn't appear to be backwards compable as I could have achieved this with an older iMac.

Scanned images rotate slightly upon import- any idea why and how to fix?

I have been scanning photo images on my Epson Workforce 845. The images are straight in preview but rotate slightly upon import. Does anyone have an idea of a fix? The files themselves appear rotated as stored on the computer and before transferring to iPhoto.

I've tried all 3 of the instructions from the link you sent me. So I've uninstalled FCP X and Motion 3 times and re-downloaded it 3 times and the same thing happens with FCP 7.
It boots up, right up until the part when the windows open on screen and then closes without leaving an error message.
FCP X works fine... Unfortunately I have loads of projects on 7 that I need to complete before an(almost) complete transfer to X.
Anny more ideas would be gratefully received

If you have Settings>Messages>Show Subject Field set to On, you may be typing in the subject field of your message. The Send button won't respond until you type something in the iMessage field just below it.

Printing in InDesign 5.5 doesnt print the image, just the border. Any idea why this is?

It will print a blank page other than the border around the image.

Do you mean that the text frame has a stroke? And what do you mean by "...other than the border"?
Have you checked these things?
Is the image on a non-printing layer?
Is the link missing or is the status out of date?
Are other images printing fine?
Does it appear if you print to another printer or print to PDF?

Dropped my phone in water and now the camera doesn't work, any ideas why its' the only thing not working

I somehow knocked my iphone 4s in the sink of water and everything seems to work except the camera. Is there a way to reinstall the software or does anyone know what I can do other than using phone protection insurance? All my pictures are there and they upload and share but just can't get the camera to take pictures.

The device is damage, it was dropped in water. You are lucky that the device works at all.
