Hi,
Archive process is deleted when db is archive mode. what happened?
If dbwr or lgwr is deleted what happened?
Pmon started new one for that?

SRM 7 workflow process deletion

Hello all gurus,
please forgive the question, I'm quite new on the argument; I searched a bit on the SDN but found no pratical solution on the issue... hints, suggestions and ref. to documentation or previous thread are welcome.
We are migrating from SRM 3 to SRM 7; we implement an extended classic scenario, and our documents (contract/po) can trigger specific workflows with different approval steps.
In case of errors execution a workflow process in SRM 3, we used to adopt the following procedure: once the workflow in error has been identified, we delete the workflow process via transaction SWWL. Then we manually adjust the document status situation in table CRM_JEST and we're ready to repeat the process, as when processed again, the document re-triggers the correct workflow. So far, so good.
The same approach seems not to be valid in SRM 7, as we've seen that deleting a wf process in SWWL leads to an odd situation; the interested document does not snap any workflow. It seems that some dirty information doesn't allow the system to recognize the document should be assigned to a new workflow process.
As far as we've seen, there are some DB tables which contain data w.r.t. workflow process: /SAPSRM/D_WF_000 /001 /003 and so on. There tables are not affected by the wf process deletion we perform in SWWL... maybe there's still something we're not taking into account.
Could you please provide us some details or hints to perform the above described procedure? Thanks in advance.

3. Restart workflow in SWI2_DIAG

Duplicate records: Process : Delete Overlapping Requests from InfoCube

Hi Experts,
We are loading data in standard costing cube with standard available option Full upload. In our process chain we have included process type "Delete Overlapping Requests from InfoCube". In our scenario we always load yesterday and today's data. In this case after loading yesterday's data, we need to check and delete the overlapping requests and then upload todays data.
Many a times this deletion process is failing due to message "Couldn't lock cube" because it is already locked by user "ALEREMOTE". This cause system to duplicate the records in cube.
How we can avoid this?

BPM Process deleted from ESR / ID but still visible in SXI_CACHE

Hi,
We are having some issues with BPM where even after deleteing the BPM processes from PI ESR and its corresponsing ID reference the processes are still visible in SXI_CACHE.
Can any one point to how we can get the CACHE alligned to wht is in the ESR and ID.

It gets refreshed automatically may be not immediately but daily , if you check the SXI_Cache after some time the deleted one will not appear.
It will be visible in SXI_CACHE,please check the return value it should be 0 not 99.
Try creating the IP with some other name , copy the existing one with new name and import in ID and try.

Enqueue process deleted automatically

Hi Experts,
Now i am facing a critical issue, In our SAP systems (DEV,QAS,PRD) suddenly the Enqueue process is deleted. It is not displayed in the SM50 t-code and i checked in rz11, All the parameters are showing 0 value.So that users automatically logged out from the sessions.then they tried to login ,they able to login but transaction codes are not performing. The error message it is showing is "table is locked by the same user" .for this entire day was loss.
then we added Enqueue process ,we have 60 logins in the company ,from this onwards if 60 users login to the system the users getting different kinds of errors.and also i found that almost all dialog work process and update work process is running for long time, if around 30 users login to the system it is performing well. almost two days gone. we are not able to find root cause and solution.
pls help me, if any doubts pls ask me.

we have 60 logins in the company ,from this onwards if 60 users login to the system the users getting different kinds of errors.and also i found that almost all dialog work process and update work process is running for long time, if around 30 users login to the system it is performing well. almost two days gone
1) How much RAM do you have configured on the server ?
2) What is the OS and DB version ?

Integration Processes deleted but still in SXI_CACHE

I'm trying to understand why old integration processes would still reflect in transaction SXI_CACHE although I have done the following:
1.     Deleted them & all references from Integration Repository & Integration Directory.
2.     Deleted the Runtime Version from SXI_CACHE.
3.     Deleted the old workflows using transaction SWWL.
4.     Did delta & full cache refreshes from SXI_CACHE.
How do you do a thorough clean up of old Integration Processes no longer required?

Integration process created is also assigned in ID,so delete Integration Process from ID then delete from IR.

SLD Cache - Used to cache the objects you created in SLD to runtime.You can check if SLD cache is updated or not in Integration repostory or Integration Directory.

Problem solved unchecked back up to icloud and backed up to my computer, which then allowed me to untick the songs that were physically on my iphone (when iphone connected to computer) that I didn't want. Synced again and voila!!! Only files I want are now on my iphone . This has been bugging me for weeks, determination certainly paid off. Sometimes I think having problems is a good thing, you learn heaps trying to solve an issue

Windows update process deletes a driver

Windows 7 SP1
Our antivirus (TrendMicro OfficeScan 11)has some specific driver in "\system32\drivers" folder. For some reason this driver will get removed after "patch tuesday". Not every "patch tuesday" but sometimes. Does anyone have a
glue what might happend? Does anyone have an idea what triggers this removal? After patching Windows, this file is just deleted and AV complains that it can not load this driver. TrendMicro support says that this must be a OS problem, not AV problem.

Personally, I recommend you enable restore point in a machine to test this issue, we need to find out whether it it the "Windows patch" that causes this issue. As I know, Windows updates have been passed many tests before they're released
to the end users, they should not cause any issues.
Meanwhile, have you tried to reinstall the TrendMicro OfficeScan 11 as a test? or contact the TrendMicro support and see if they have any ideas about this issue

Sync process deleted my camera roll

Hello
I plugged my iphone 4 on my PC with windows Vista. Itunes said it didnt really recognized my phone or something like that. Asked for reauthentification.
After updating the partnership for about 12 minutes. Abut 300 pictures had been deleted from my camera roll. How do I get them back? Why did this happen? I never pushed any button to delete the pics.

I've tried backup extractors and iphone explorer, and my files are nowhere to be found.
I have plugged my cell phone on both my computers on monday as well. And I can't find any backup info for that time.
iTune Launched saying it had trouble connecting to my phone when I connected it today.
If it werent for iTunes telling me there was some kind of trouble and that I needed to restore, I would have had my pictures.
There has been no warning about possible erasure of anything when I pushed the restore button. No warning at all.
I'm a newbie with iPhone. And This is very disappointing.
All I wanted was to import pictures I took this afternoon onto my computer...

Process Chain - Unable to delete overlapping request

Hi Gurus
I'm in the mid of creating process chain to load transaction data in which I need to delete the previous load that loaded in using the same DTP previously
In the process chain , i have included a process "Delete Overlapping Request from Infocube" . Once i'm in the screen of maintain variant for this process, i selected DTP as the object type but unable to find the DTP that i have created under the object name.
Can someone point out what is missing

Hi,
Looks like you need to give the the techincal name of the DTP. if you are un able to find the technical name of the DTP you can find that in the transport organizer.
just drag and drop the infoprovider ( with dataflow before) you will ge the DTP as required.
note the technical name of the DTP .
include the technical name in the process and activate the process.

How to create process variant for delete index in a process chain

I am creating a process chain, but unable to create process variant for the delete index. kindly tell me the
step by step proceure for creating the variant for delete index. also if we use variant which is previously prepared then will it be safe? will it affect the other running process chian.

Hi,
Please do not use an already created variant for index deletion. It might delete indices of some other cube.
You can follow the following steps -
1. Open the chain in Edit mode and click on "Process Types" button
2. On the Left hand side you will have various process types. Choose "Data Target Administration" and expand it.
3. Choose the first process "Delete Index" (it will be marked with a trash bin sign) and drag it to your chain
4. It will ask you create a variant. Press the create Button
5. In new window enter the Process Variant technical name and description
6. Then in new window choose Object Type = Cube through dropdown and Object name via browsing. After choosing the cube name click on "Transfer Selections"
7. Save and return to your chain
8. It will automatically generate a create index step also after delete index.
9. You need to break the link between create and delete step and insert infopackage in between to get the following steps - delete index --> load cube --> create index.

PSA Delete for chain process

Hi experts,
We are "upgrading" a load process that is using ABAP routines, Events and Infopackage groups to delete index, rollup agregattes, load some cubes, ... into a chain (RSPC chain).
We have some problems when it comes to delete some PSA's, the infopackages are 3.5 version, so PSA isn't like 7.0 PSA. They have an individual PSA for every package.
But the chain process "Delete PSA" only works for datasources PSA (7.0 PSA's), it only allows to select datasources.
Is there any chain process to delete 3.5 PSA's ? Or any notes about this issue.

interesting that my gmail account does work perfectly.

this may or may not help - but give it a try. On a forum some were reporting that talk21 is now under the yahoo umbrella. below are the steps this use listed. (This was an android forum, but the email settings should be the same. In short it looks like their server names have changed. An existing account may have simply been forwarded - but if you are reinstalling, it may want a clean install to the right servers.) Pay particular attention to the server names and port settings. (this thread was started based on a discussion of Imap vs pop - you are already an Imap person - so ignore that part)

why settle for pop3, when IMAP works with talk21 and not only does mail get pushed out faster with IMAP, but when you click refresh it will be received faster than pop3. The other advantage is subfolders are also supported with IMAP but cant be seen with POP3. This mail feature works with my android eclair & hero phone and the settings are exactly the same for win mobiles also (not tested). The mail setting up roadmap is the same from what i can remember once in the mail feature for win mobi.
This is what you need to do to setup Talk21 email with IMAP.
Incoming server settings
IMAP server - imap.mail.yahoo.com
Port - 143
Security type - none
Outgoing Server settings
SMTP server - smtp.mail.yahoo.com
Port - 25
Security type - none Also important note - Enable 'require sign-in'
and enter your talk21 username and password The End...works a treat for me p.s. Its only taken me 3 years to work it out with win mobile and recently with android. Finally got it to work...hope this helps all the talk21 users out there. if there are any other similar posts out there with no answer...dont forget to mention my name when passing this post around.

Process Point IS ON Submit -After Conmputation and Validation
On Page No 6.if i press Cancel Button.This button is redirect on page No 4.My Code on Page no 6.
page is redirect to 4 but doc don't delete from DUMY_DOC_FILE Table.
How to delete Doc From Table If I press Cancel Button.

So effectivelly instead of *[CANCEL] -> [Redirect to page 4]* , it becomes *[CANCEL] -> [SUBMIT] -> [DELETE PROCESS] -> [Branch: redirect to page 4]*

HOW TO USE FUNCTION Deletion of Requests from the Change Log IN PRCSES CHAN

i used Deletion of Requests from PSA from the prcess chain and found good results, now i have only one request at the psa and thus i am doing good space utililisation. but when i am using Deletion of Requests from the Change Log i am not getting any changes in the request of dso. kindly let me know how to use this 2nd function.

As per SAp standards its good to delete the requestes that are no longer needed for the delta update and no longer used ffor inti from the change log table and the data is loaded already in to DSO.
Goto RSPC
Click on create New PC -> enter the PC name n long descp
Next we need to define the start process for the PC.Maintain the start variant process.save n come back.
for deletion of change log we have option in the Other BW Processes -> deletion of requestes from change log
Once u select the option we get a dialoge box here we need to create the variant for the process enter the process variant n long descp. cick ok.
Next in the maintenance screen for the deleting the request from change log table will appear.
Enter the selection patterns to which the requestes should be deleted from the change log.
In the maintenance screen, select one or more Data Store objects for which requests are to be deleted from the relevant change log tables under Data Store Object column and select theInfo Area of the corresponding Data Store Objects under Info Area
If you select the first check box exclude selction pattern, this means that del of requests from change log table will be ignored.

We can delete the requests which are Older than N-number of days (or) date in the above screen. For this one, enter the number of days (or) date in the filed Older than .
OR
If we want to select the requests with a certain status then we can also do in the above screen. We can select the following status indicators from the above screen.
Delete Successfully Updated Requests Only -This status will delete only requests which
are successfully updated into corresponding Data Store objects.
Delete Incorrect Requests that were not Updated - This status will delete only incorrect requests which are not successfully updated into the corresponding Data Store Objects.
Delete Activation Requests only, No Load requests- This status will delete only the activation requests (requests that begin with ODSR_... ). No load requests are deleted.
