  • Firefox crashes after adobe flash 11 upgrade

I have Win7 (64). My Firefox 14.0.1 was working find with Adobe Flash 10. When Firefox upgraded to 15.0.1 and simultaneously upgraded to Adobe Flash 11. Now Firefox crashed as soon as I go to a site with Flash content (like cnn.com or youtube.com). As soon as I uninstall Adobe Flash completely, Firefox starts to respond again (but of coarse without displaying any Flash contacts as it was uninstalled). I even tried downgrading back to Firefox 14.0.1 and reinstalled Adobe Flash 11, and I get the same crashing results. As well as the same results when I uninstall Adobe Flash (meaning that is responds again, but without displaying Flash content). I also tried the same sequences in safe-mode, but still have the same issues.
I am seeing lots of posts regarding trouble with the new Adobe Flash 11, but no definative solution. Can someone please assist me with this. Or at least instruct me on how to downgrade back to Adobe Flash 10. Their site is not clear on how to do this.
    Thanks
BTW - I have a second computer that is a complete cloned image of this machine (the only difference is the hardware setup is different, with different respective drivers). This second computer is not having any problems with Firefox 15.0.1 and Adobe Flash 11. Can this problem be caused by a hardware issue?

    Hi gguevara,
First try to [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-extensions-themes-to-fix-problems#w_turn-off-hardware-acceleration Turn off hardware acceleration] in Firefox and "disable the hardware acceleration" in the Flash Player too :
    http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/video-playback-issues.html
    http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/help01.html
also try to [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Flash#Disabling_Protected_Mode_in_Flash_11.3 Disabling Protected Mode in Flash] (the link is for 11.3, do the same for 11.4), see the same in "Last resort" in the next link from adobe forum http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1018071?tstart=0
Finally if you still have crashes you must [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/flash-113-crashes#w_step-2-install-flash-10-3 download and Install Flash 10.3] '''but first''' '''''uninstall''''' your current version [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/flash-113-crashes#w_step-1-uninstall-flash with adobe uninstaller program] .

    thank you

  • Upgrade from 2007A PL42 to 881 PL10

    Dear experts,
I have to upgrade Sap Business One from version 2007A PL42 to version 881 PL10.
    It's possible to do this?
    Thanks.
    Paolo

    hi Paolo,
yes it is possible. from your upgrader file look for the Administrators guide and follow the step by step instruction from that document. do it first in your test environment, to avoid future problems.
you can also download the Accelerator Upgrade Program provided by SAP. [Visit here|https://websmp207.sap-ag.de/~form/sapnet?_SHORTKEY=01100035870000714397&_SCENARIO=01100035870000000183&_ADDINC=011000358700002837782005E&]

  • Steps for upgrading 2005B to 2007B

    Hi
    I am not able to upgrade 2005 B to 2007 B.
Can u give me step by step instructions which is helpful for updating the B1.
    Thanks

    Hi Pari,
the IRU (Internal Reconciliation Upgrade) happens when you upgrade to version 2007. Reason being the completely redisigned & merged reconciliation engines.
SAP developed & made the pre-upgrade tools for the A & B versions available, such that partners can test the potential impact of the historically existing reconciliation inconsistencies in their customers' databases. Thus, no partner is unprepared when upgrading the live system & is then also familiar with & comfortable in explaining to the customer how SAP Business One automatically created journals with a balance due that have to be reconciled.
All information on the [IRU landing page|https://websmp108.sap-ag.de/~sapidb/011000358700000380562007E] is relevant for all partners whose customers are upgrading to 2007.
Please note that further information regarding any Upgrades of SAP Business One can be found within the Accelerated Upgrade Program (B1AUP).
This is a comprehensive upgrade methodology created by SAP with the help and input of certain partners.
Please refer to http://service.sap.com/smb/sbo -> expand 'A-Z Index' and click on 'A-Z Snapshot'. Under topic 'A-C' click on Accelerated Upgrade Program (B1AUP)
    hope it helps,

  • Upgrade DB from 2005A to 2007A

    Hi Experts
I want to upgrade a DB from 2005A version to 2007A version and if i use 2007A PL 47 which is a 'upgrader' i can directly upgrade to 2007A PL 47 from 2005A without having to upgrade them to different PL before bring them on to 2007A
eg current DB is on 2005A PL 18. Need to upgrade to 2007A.
    Is the above correct?
    Thank you
    Kind Regards
    Apsara

    Hi
Before performing an upgrade, do run SAP note 1000846 on the live database and also kindly test the upgrade on the test database first. If you face any queries in the test upgrade report it to SAP support.
When going from 2005 to 2007 version you need to download the Upgrade version.
For 2007A version, you need first upgrade to 2007A patch level 42 and then to the latest version for DB consistency.
Only the Upgrade package has been validated by SAP for a change of version of SAP Business One.
Please note that further information regarding any Upgrades of SAP Business One can be found within the Accelerated Upgrade Program (B1AUP).

  • My computer has a Radeon 7800HD graphics card. Firefox shows graphic artifacts in sthe shape of alternating square boxes which obliterates the text

I keep getting alternating brown squares as artifacts all over my computer when browsing with Firefox. The squares are concentrated on the bookmark area on the left of the screen and also the menu section on the top of the screen. This has been a problem since Firefox 18 and is still a problem with Firefox 20; enough of a problem that I am considering a browser switch. We have another computer that has the same problem and that computer has a different graphics card. Any help someone can provide would be appreciated.

  • Font rendering looks terrible

I have the Firefox 26.0 running on Windows 7 Ultimate and have noticed that the font rendering often looks terrible. For example, have a look at the lower left title on the New York Times:
    http://webspace.lenscritic.com/firefox/2.png
Interestingly, when the page is first rendering I get a split second where it looks fine, but then it quickly changes to what you see above. Here's what it looks like in the early stages of rendering when it looks fine:
    http://webspace.lenscritic.com/firefox/1.png
I have tried disabling hardware acceleration (in Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing) as well as setting the gfx.content.azure.enabled pref to false and gfx.direct2d.disabled pref to true, none of which made any difference.
    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

  • Itava Media Accelerator Running processor at 100% since upgrade

    Hello,
I noticed my fan running a lot since my upgrade to 10.5.3. I ran activity monitor and found Ativa Accelerator is using 80-90% of the processor - for no apparent reason. When I shut it down things run normal. I reinstalled the driver in case it was an old version problem but the new one does the same thing. It is the powerpc version (on a G5 Imac). Anyone else have this problem or a solution (other than manually shutting it down all the time)?

The installer seems to drop a LaunchAgent which keeps a daemon process up and running constantly and this daemon is exceptionally chatty on the network. This seems like an odd approach for something that's supposed to be a browser plugin and I'd tend to be of the opinion that these people have no idea what they're doing. You can probably count the number of NASCAR fans that own computers on one, thumbless hand so I'm not sure what their business plan is here. Either way, I'd delete this thing immediately.

  • Mercury Hardware Acceleration disappears when upgrading from CS6 to CC.

I have an iMac (27-inch Mid 2011 AMD Radeon HD 6770M 512 MB) with 16gb of memory.
I upgraded Premiere from CS6 to CC. I had mercury hardware acceleration support on CS6. The acceleration option has disappeared following my upgrade to CC.
Have tried this on two machines now.
Can anyone help? Am I missing the obvious?
    Ian.
PS. I first posted this in the CC forum. And was, quite rightly, told to post it here…. :-)

They actually didn't raise it.  It's always required 1GB.

It seems an error of sorts that it worked with less on Macs.  That's been 'corrected'.

  • While upgrading 574 Application Accelerator to 4.4.7 System Crashed

    I was upgradeing from 4.2.3c to 4.4.7
I upgraded the Central Manager without a problem
Went to upgrade the 574 Application Accelerator
    With the following command
"Copy ftp install ftpserver / waas-universal-4.4.7.4-k9.bin"
So I ran "reload" and now it freezes at the lines below upon reboot
    dbgrub_start.s
    Booting the Kernel
    Kernal Alive
Kernal direct mapping tables to la7fff000 @ 8000-10000
It gets to that point and just freezes.  What would be the best steps to follow to try to get this back up without blowing it away?
    and it hung up d

Ok, much better. I can connect to it now, but it looks like the configuration is blown away.
I am not sure what would be the best way to get back online from this point.
Before upgrading it did a backup and stored it locally on the disc.  Is there a way to get that backup restored?  Should I be using the 4.2.3c rescue disk to acomplish this, or can I use the 4.4.7 that I am upgrading it to?
Also I have a backup that I ran from management connection from HTTPS:
Can I use the 4.4.7 rescue cd blow the old system away then do a restore from this backup that I made from the cisco wae under the backup tab?
    Thanks for your help!
