BI Admin Cockpit - 0TCT_MD_C_FULL_P01 has Inactive Infopackages

Hi SDN,
Basis recently installed BI Admin cockpit for BI Statistics.  I am running test loads using the process chains.
The Process chain Content Master Data (0TCT_MD_C_FULL_P01) is displaying as inactive.  When i go into change mode, I notice that 4 infopackages are red (inactive).  Here are the displaying error messages:
-Process variant LOADING 0PAK_BFYU3MMMU2T2WOI50MXHCEH07 does not exist in version A
-InfoPackage  no longer exists in object version A in table RSLDPIO
-Variant '0PAK_BFYU3MMMU2T2WOI50MXHCEH07' of process type 'LOADING' not found in A version
How do I correct these errors?  Do I have to go into table RSLDPIO and edit the table entries for the InfoPackage or do I need to reactive these Infopackages from BIC (RSA1->BIC)?  I also see that there are notes 834280, 1069134, and 1008758 which deal with BI Admin Cockpick installation.
Thanks!

Hi Markus,
We're facing exactly the same issue under BI_CONT 747...
Trying to activate objects in error manually from Business Content.
(Re)Activate DataSource 0TCTIFAREA_TEXT and 0TCTAPPL_TEXT using RSA5 then Replicate and reactivate via RS_TRANSTRU_ACTIVATE_ALL.
Migrate to 7.x 0TCTIFAREA_TEXT and 0TCTAPPL_TEXT and restart the program RSTCT_ACTIVATEADMINCOCKPIT_NEW.
=> Log w/o any error.
But DTP_7KU36MOUFNCF0QSFCIHAD5VH9 and DTP_7KU36MOUFNCF0QSCQUJW97MB6 still not active and not reachable in BCT.
I have just found this SAP Note !
Note 1698234 - Report
RSTCT_ACTIVATEADMINCOCKPIT_NEW activation errors
Dispite these recommandations, the DTP_7KU36MOUFNCF0QSFCIHAD5VH9 and DTP_7KU36MOUFNCF0QSCQUJW97MB6 are missing in the BCT.
WorkAround --> Create your own DTPs and replace the bad ones in the Process Chain.

  • BI Admin Cockpit for InfoPackage

    Hi SAP Gurus,
I have installed BI Admin Cockpit on BI 7.0 using SP13.
I executed one Info Package for testing purpose.  I am comparing the data populated in 0TCT_MC23 that with the monitor tab.  I observed that the data doesn't get populated in 0TCT_MC23 as expected.
Searched on Service.maketplace and found few SAP notes (1024908, 991093, 1001880, 1014146) which asks for implementing SP11 / SP13 as a resolution to the problem.  However we are already on SP13.
Can anyone let me know the solution for this problem?
    Awaiting your reply.

u2022     As per the SAP Note 934848 it clearly tells it is for only myself system, then why SAP provides standard datasources for ECC system.

  • BI Admin Cockpit: Program variant missing in Process chain

    Hi,
I'm installing BI Admin Cockpit and have troubles with Process chains. I followed the installatin guide and had problems activating process chains: 0TCT_C2_INIT_P01 and 0TCT_MD_C_FULL_P01 because of missing InfoPackages. I solved this by installing an correction as it is described by Note: 1432353. After this I activate these Process chains manually in RSA1 Administration--> BI Content -->Process Chains (all necessary objects). No Problems occured. The Problem is when I'm start these Process chains, I get an error on the last step. There is an Abap Programm with an variant. This variant is missing in the System.
    The Variants are:
    - RSTCC_Dataload (0TCT_C2_INIT_P01)
    - RSTCC_QRuntime (0TCT_MD_C_FULL_P01)
I tried also to get these Process chains with Dataflow before and after to view if I forgot anything to activate, but there is no programm variant. Can anybody explain, how to get these programm variants?
    Thanks and greetings,
    Sebastian

    Sebastian,
I faced the same problem. Basically what I found was that variants were not defined. So I manually created the value for variants:
    1. For RSTCC_DATALOAD assign value  TCT_C2_DELTA_P01
    2. For RSTCC_QRUNTIME  assign value   0TCT_C0_DELTA_P01
Our system info is similar to what you have and I in fact had Basis team patch BI Cont to level 6 but this did not help. If I were to take a guess i would have to say that these variants are missing in the 7.01 BI version, you can either choose to create a OSS message with SAP and wait for them to fix it or you could fix it manually.

  • BI Admin Cockpit process chains fail to install

    Hi All,
I'm attempting to install and configure the BI Admin Cockpit on our BI Development system.
I've followed the steps outlined in the collective note, 965386.
When running transaction rstcc_inst_biac to install the Content for the BI Admin Cockpit, the background job RSTCC_ACTIVATE_ADMIN_COCKPIT cancelled with error message RS 062.
Regarding this, instructions from note 1039381 were used to clear table entries and I re-ran the job, this time successfully.
Checking slg1, the logs show no errors and only minor warnings and it can be seen via RSA1 that some Technical Content is in the Activated state.
However, when entering transaction RSPC to schedule the process chains, the screen is blank and it appears that the associated chains have not been installed.
Regarding this, note 1065249 has been checked:
<i>'This note needs to be applied only if SP level of software component BI_CONT is less than SP7 and SAP_BW is greater than or equal to SP13.'</i>
Our system is currently at the required SP levels, BW13 and BI_CONT SP7.
Any ideas on how to install the process chains would be very welcome.
    Chris

I was able to install BI Admin Cockpit recently after multiple attempts. All process chains installed properly. There are still some minor issues but in general I was able to see the BI Stats reports. Here is the steps that I did:
    System Info: SAP_BW     700     13, BI_CONT     703     5
    1. Note 934848: Select only myself system in the TX:RSOR Source System
    2. Note 834280: Installing technical BI Content after upgrade
    3. Apply OSS note: 1039381, 1065249, 1044792
    4. Note 965386: Activate tech content in IMG (SPRO) sequentially from Activate SAPI Data Sources ... to Activate Technical Content. Activating it sequentially will help identify which step is failing.
    5. Activate Process Chains using txn RSOR Technical Content (0TCT*).
The process chains were installed but failed to be activated. Whe I double click on a process chain nothing was displayed but edit the process chain anyway and activate manually.
    Good luck.

  • BI Admin Cockpit Layout

Hi, I've installed the BI Admin Cockpit, but it doesn't seem to look like the Documentation in the paper "Administration Cockpit
Technical Content BI Statistics".  The paper shows pages with 2 columns for 4 apps on the page.  My default one as installed only has 1 column for 2 apps (one over the other).    Looks less like a cockpit having only 1 column with 2 apps.
Anyone know why this would be?
Is the nice cockpit view shown on the paper a customized version and I need to change the Portal Pages to what I want?
Do I customize the content pages or copy and create new ones?
Thanks for any insight to this.

    Kenneth,
Which file/version of BI Admin did you deploy on your system? Did you apply the patch?
    The two (2) files to be applied are;
BPBIADMIN05_0-10003428.sca BP for BI Administration 1.0 (note required as Patch_2 u2013second file is cumulative)
    BPBIADMIN05P_2-10003428.SCA Patch 2 for BP BI ADMINISTRATION 1.0 SP05

  • BI Admin Cockpit - Problem in activating Process Chains

    Hello,
We're trying to activate the content for BI Admin Cockpit.
While activating the process chains, we get a "red" message as
    mentioned below.
"Object '0PAK_5JTN7F5HTP45CGZ04PQTMCNTI' (ISIP) of type 'InfoPackage'
is not available in version 'D'
    Message no. RSO252"
OSS message 966131 suggests that "The InfoPackages mentioned are shadow
InfoPackages and the message is unnecessary because there should not
have been a search for the package at all." and we should apply the
correction (as part of SPS10) for this purpose.
We are currently on SP11 but still having the same issue and hence not
able to activate the process chains for BI Admin Cockpit.
Thanks for your help with this.
    Ashish

    Hi Ashish,
We had the same issue. You must have one of following:-
    BI_CONT 702, Support pack 7
    or
    BI_CONT 703, Support Pack 4
Once you get either of above, you will not have that problem. But you might have some problem in process chains because of roll up of aggregate in delta PC. Just ignore that and you will be OK...( This problem is because there is no agg. defined and PC is trying to do roll up..which make no sense and hence there is error)
Also refer to OSS note 965386
This is my first answer to SDN...so assign my first points..:)
    Thanks,
    Anil

    Hi David,
What is your  System BI 7 Fixpack and stack level..?
Follow below steps for BI Cockpit Install and configuration.
    - Execute RSTCC_ACTIVATEADMINCOCKPIT_NEW (using Transaction RSTCC_INST_BIAC ) only   and configure as per OSS Note: 934848
    - The user should have authorization to Install BI Content S_RS_RDEMO

    Hi Experts,
please do you have practical experiences with concrete queries ( i don't want to use 'BI Administration Cockpit in RSA1 - Administartion) to find out e.g.

  • BI admin cockpit - how to install the BI content Web templates

    Hi Gurus,
We have installed BI admin cockpit. we have also installed Bex required queries. now I wanted to install all web templates (SAP format 3.x) in BI content. after installing I checked WAD but I cannot see them their also when I go to metadata repository I cannot see templates, I only see this message:
"Object '0QUERY_TEMPLATE' (0QUERY_TEMPLATE) of type 'Web Template (Format SAP BW 3.x)' is not available in version 'A'"
Is it maybe we are on SAP 7.01, what would be the steps to install the web templates successfully?
thank you all for your help and have a nice day.
    thank you

    Hi Stefanie ,
If you have installed Admincockpit , then the corresponding web templates should be available in the system .
    1. Anyways if the web-templates are missing , then try to run the admincockpit installation once more using the
tcode - RSTCC_INST_BIAC and check whether you get the webtempaltes in 'A' version or not .
    2. If the webtemplates are still not available , then you can install them manually in tcode - RSORBCT.
a> Go to tcode - RSORBCT.
b> Locate the field Query Elements . Drill down to Query and then select "Select Objects".
c> In the new pop-up window , locate the  "Business Information Warehouse" and then drill down to "BI Statistics".
d> You can find all the Statistics infoproviders under "BI Statistics" and the queries build upon them .
e> Select all the queries for a particular infoprovider and then select transfer .
f> After the required queries have been transferred to the third window , select the option 'DataFlow Before and AFterwards' under the Grouping Tab .
g> After the grouping has been done , you can check that the web templates associated with the query have been collected .
    h> Then choose install .
i> Repeat these steps for all the Statistics infoproviders .
j> This will make all the statistics webtemplates available.
k> As the Statistics webtemplates are 3.x , you can execute them in SE38 report - RS_TEMPLATE_MAINTAIN for testing .

    Hi,
We are trying to activate the admin cockpit thru ABAP "RSTCC_ACTIVATE_ADMIN_COCKPIT" and have couple of question.
    1. Activate SAPI DataSources  ( wat is mean by this)
    2. Activate MySelf Source sytem (My source system is already in active, does this reactivate again
      Force MySelf System activation
    3. Replicate DataSources ( Is this relevant for only Techincal content DS?)
       Force DataSource Replication
       Repair Missing Infopackage
    4. Activate Techincal content
       only simulaiton
Is there any webtemplate behind the cockpit?

    Hi,
yes there are webtemplates behind the cockpit. It is running in the portal. The presentation 'SAP NetWeaver BI Administration Cockpit' will show. For the admin cockpit you have to activate technical BI content.
