BI Admin Cockpit - RSIM_CHECK_REP_DATA does not exist
Hi All,
we recently upgraded to BW731 SP06 and had quite some issues with the BI Admin Cockpit. Most of them have been solved in the meantime, however process chain 0TCTHC_CHECK_REP_DATA calls a program (RSIM_CHECK_REP_DATA) which does not exist. It seems this does exist in lower releases (BW730 SP05 according to scn.sap.com/message/14065174).
I checked the service Marketplace and could only find 1 ancient note for BW7.11 (which is obviously not applicable in our current version).
Should I open an(other) OSS message for this?
Kind regards,
Raf
Hi Raf,
We have the above program and other details are below.
BI Cont - 736 level 0002 Highest support SAPK-73602INBICONT
SAP BASIS 730 Level 005 high supp pkg - SAPKB73005
There would be chance of missing, you may need respective note, better to check with SAP.

JSPM phase error : admin/user/SID does not exist
Hi ,
There is an error message while opening the JSPM

checked the config tool secure store and found no entry maintained for /admin/user/SID.
How to add the new entry in config tool and what is post entry procedure
Thanks a tonHello Daniel,
You can maintain the Administrator user in secure storage using the config tool.
By default, the value for this config tool property is user Administrator. However, when using the ABAP Engine for persistency, this user is J2EE_ADMIN.
Following are the steps:
1. Start the Config Tool.
2. Select secure store.
The configuration for the secure storage in the file system appears.
3. Select the key admin/user/<SID>.
4. Enter J2EE_ADMIN in the Value: field and choose Add.
5. Select the key admin/password/<SID>.
6. Enter the password for J2EE_ADMIN in the Value: field and choose Add.
7. Save the configuration.

Transaction type does not exist. Check entries
Hello all,
EBP 5.0, CCM 1.0, unicode
When I try to log on different language than English and try to shop system is displaying two messages
Internal number range is missing for transaction type. Inform syst. admin
Transaction type does not exist. Check entries
And I cannot see link for Procurement Catalog.
All my customizing up to now was in English, due to the fact that SAP did not provide translation to Croatian (Latin-2 language).
Also catalog call-up has locale "en" for the calling of catalog from EBP.
Please give hint where I can start with debugging.
GordanHello Yann,
main problem, language files for CCM and EBP are not suppied from SAP yet. MY BC told me that they installed Croatian language in WAS, so system should behave as language is intalled fully and represent text in English when there is no translation.
I cannot test other things because EBP will not go into the catalog due to the missing internal numbering for the transaction type. I checked BUS2121 in transaction types but nothing to be found.
I was thinking that those two problems are related but this is not true. First I have to solve number range that check the catalog. Only common between those two problems is logon language.
I even forced our special characters by entering them as UNICODE code and I can see them via catalog manager in english, but only for catalog items. Characteristics and product category names do not follow UNICODE specification.
Confused

"Business Partner Does Not Exist" SUS admin user registration
We are currently using SUS.
After business partner is transfered from EBP to SUS via XI, an email is generated to the vendor with a registration ID that allows him/her to use SRMSUS_SELFREG to register an admin user for that company.
When the user registers based on the auto-generated registration ID, the screen outputs "Business Partner Does Not Exist".
I am very stuck at this stage and can't find more places for an error log or any leads.
Please help.Hi Derek Xu
I saw your message about the problem and hope you have solved the problem, I would like to ask you a help to solve a problem that I have.
I am configuring the SUS-EBP on version 5.5 they are in the same client, and my process must rum as follow:
Acepted vendors can be transfered from EBP to SUS in this moment the vendor must receive an e-mail with user and password to acces the SUS and create a user .
The problem is e-mails are not generated and I think the URLs in img Make Settings for Business Partners:
URL for UM I have doubt about what is the correct URL
URL for Notification I have doubt about what is the correct URL
Could you send me an example of these URLs
Thanks

I just updated an existing slide show that was created several months back. Since loading my new set of files to our web server, we keep getting the following error in our server log files when someone loads our page in IE8 and IE9:
File does not exist: /www/public_html/null, referer:
One of our programmers tracked the error to this line of code, but we're not sure what's causing it:
Muse.Utils.addSelectorFn('#slideshowu70', function(elem) { new WebPro.Widget.ContentSlideShow(elem, {autoPlay:true,displayInterval:6000,slideLinkStopsSlideShow:false,transitionStyle:'horizo ntal',lightboxEnabled_runtime:false,shuffle:false}); });/* #slideshowu70 */
Any suggestions?
Thanks! The errors aren't showing up on the client side, only in the server access logs. Every time the page is loaded with IE8 or IE9 and the Muse.Utils.addSelectorFn with the #slideshowu70 line is hit, it generates four errors in the server access logs.
Our admin guy pulled the errors from where it was clicked on from the Adobe forum. He said it also appeared that you tested it with www added to the url (if this was when you were testing it)...

The reason we find it strange is because it did not result in errors with the previous version of the slideshow. The only thing that changed this time around is that I removed some slides and added additional ones, but I noticed that there is a lot of difference in the code and even the scripts that are used. And I did copy over all of the scripts, css files, etc., so it's using all of the new source files.
I was hoping it was something that you guys had noticed if you review the access logs when you're testing. While it works perfectly on the client side, the IT guys do go through our access logs, so it would be nice to eliminate the errors.
Thanks for looking at it! -
The view 'cpdpopupeditactionsview' does not exist.

ThanksHi
This issue is resolved by manually uninstalling the ContentFolios component via editing the database directly. This only works if the client does not have any ContentFolio data - created or migrated; if they do have existing Content Folio data this will cause great harm to the integrity of their collection.
1. Uninstall the ContentFolios component.
2. Delete the following tables from the database;
CpdArchivedLinks, CpdBasketLinks, CpdChangeHistory, CpdLinks
3. Delete the entry for ContentFolios from the Config table.
4. Restart the Content Server.
5. Install the ContentFolios component.
Hope this helps
Thanks

SSNHi,
Thanks.
Tried log mining, but still couldn't find the culprit. I think now, I have to drop and create this db.Still wondering what might have happened.

Table does not exist at dw.insertrow(0)
Hi,
I am trying to update an old PB app.
Background of the basic database structure:
my_data Table:
col1
col2 -- lookup to an_old_table.id
col3 -- newly added as lookup
my_new_lookup Table:
code -- 'linked' to col3 above
description
an_old_lookup table:
id -- 'linked' to my_data.col2
text
I have created a new lookup table in our oracle database, and added an extra column to an existing table this column matches the lookup code and we can pull the full description of the item from there.
I would like to add the new lookup table as a dropdown list in a window of my app.
There is already a dropdown list which does exactly this, displaying an_old_table.text in the dropdown but updating my_table.col2 with the id value.
I have attempted to duplicate this functionality exactly but with data from my_new_lookup to my_data.col3, but am failing somewhere.
I have created a new d_dddw_mynewdropdown, which in the preview window lists all my_new_lookup.description values from the database correctly.
In the datawindow, I added a column control, changed the edit to DropDownDW, making sure the DataWindow is d_dddw_mynewdropdown and display and data columns matched description and code respectively.
When I do a retreive on the datawindow within powerbuilder, with a record from the my_data table a dropdown box appears correctly in the preview window with the value matching the correct lookup description, so it is flowing through col3 > code > description correctly.
The datawindow is embedded into an application window, and this is where I think it is failing... The window has two datawindows on it and part of the open() function does:
If dw_one.Retrieve(ln_id,) > 0 Then
ll_row = dw_one.GetRow()
If dw_one.ShareData (dw_two) <> 1 Then
MessageBox ("Error", "Error in sharing data.")
Else
dw_two.ScrollToRow (ll_row)
End If
Which passes (IE does not display the message box)
It then executes:
dw_one.InsertRow(0)
dw_two.InsertRow(0)
Which is where the application displays an error message which says:
Select Error: ORA-00942: table or view does not exist
I stepped through the code in debug mode and discovered the error message comes from the dw_one.InsertRow(0) line.
If I press ok to the error, the application continues to run, but the value of the dropdown box is my_data.col3 (the 'linking' code, not the full description) and the dropdown when pressed is empty.
I am not sure what I have done wrong.. In powerbuilder itself everything seems to be working and connecting together as it should when I preview the data in the datawindows, but something about the application window has issues.
Has anyone experienced similar things? I do not know where else to look to fix this.
Thanks. This is correct. The application starts with a log in screen (we have over 80 users) the application then connects to the database using the credentials entered into the login screen.
The table was created under the db admin account.
I have very little Oracle experience. what would be the best way to do it so that all users who have access to the application also have access to this table?
From what I can work out, the application uses the "Other Users" folder under in the database tree in Oracle SQL Developer. The DB admin account is not in the list of users in this folder..
When I use the application and log in using the db admin credentials there is no error! So I just have to work out how to give all the users access to this table?!
is the
alter session set current_schema= <username of table creator>.
a PowerBuilder command that I should run after the users log into the app? or is it an Oracle Query?
Thanks! this is down the right track..
I ran a select * from all_tables query and compared the new table with others that are successfully being used by the application.. as far as I can see, they are exactly the same in terms of OWNER, TABLESPACE_NAME, CLUSTER_NAME, STATUS, BUFFER_POOL... The only thing different is my new table has GLOBAL_STATS = YES where the rest have NO.. not sure if that makes any difference..
The OWNER column is the database admin user for all tables used by the application
I also checked the DBA_TAB_PRIVS table and it has all the same info as the other tables aswell.. not sure where else to look. -
"the path does not exist" error opening shared adobe files on XP machine
We recently upgraded a mac mini from Tiger (10.4.11) to Leopard (10.5.X) we updated to the most recent 10.5.
We have an office with 3 macs and 1 XP.
All users connect to the Mac Mini via SMB sharing.
Everyone Authenticates as the same admin user.
*The XP machine can open and save all file types EXCEPT Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator files.*
They are using CS3.
The mac and XP users could open save and share all files prior to the leopard update.
We used the "Archive and Install" option to upgrade to leopard.
The shared files had the "unknown Group" error which we solved by adding them to the ADMIN group. This step changed the error message the the XP user was receiving.
I have tried many networking fixes, including group policy on windows, turning off IPv6 on the Mini, but we cannot open or save files directly from Illustrator.
When the file
We can move files to the XP desktop then open and save. Files saved on the XP machine can be moved back to the mini and opened directly by all of the Mac users.
Any guesses why this might be occurring? There are actually two separate error messages received by the windows user when trying to open files off of the Mini.
"the path does not exist" and "this file cannot be found".
This happens when we navigate directly to the file with windows explorer. -

I dont know if it is a good thing i copy an init.ora file to initCHUCKY.ora and now database is using it I have just changed some values in it like control files dbname ... that were pointing to another database maybe this is why i dont manage to get this database runing.
Now i am stucked I dunno what to do

I dunno what is this fuckin shared memoryThis fuckin shared memory is how oracle does interprocess communication. When you connect to Oracle, you have to connect to this area. If you tell it the wrong area, it won't find it. You can see the areas with the ipcs command on the server. Since you can connect locally, but can't connect remotely, there is something wrong with how you told Oracle to connect remotely. Remotely can be on the same host if you have an @ in the connect string.

ORACLE_SID=CHUCKY

ORACLE_HOME=/home/oracle/u01/app/oracle/oracle/product/10.2.0/db_1/
seems like my variables are good.
Well I dunno what to do I didn't think getting a simple login locally over tcp/ip would be so difficult, I am afraid of what will happen after this will work :) As it should be one of the easiest things on oracle what about the hardest :)Well, first try removing the trailing slash from ORACLE_HOME everywhere, including if you have it in the listener.ora. Then compare the tnsnames.ora ORACLE_HOME with your environment ORACLE_HOME. In fact, if you have a listener.ora, try renaming it to something else and restarting the listener.
That error is normally due to a bad ORACLE_HOME or ORACLE_SID. Since your tnsping works, that indicates the ORACLE_HOME is good. But all that tells you is that the listener responds. Other causes may be inadequate processes in init.ora or case issues with the sid, or just generally not following the installation instructions. But are there installation instructions for debian?
With multiple databases on one host, some kernel parameters may need to be increased. -

I deleted the user from the userlist and reprocessed security. I added the user again in the admin group and reporcessed user security. Same error.
When the user logs on on citrix using her profile and starts Webexcel using my profile - no problem.
My profile has administrator rights and she may not have them. So I really want her into the usergroup.
We renamed the file to upload to a file with 8 characters - same problem.
Anyone any experience with this error and how to solve it ?
Thanks for your reply.
JohanHello,
From what I understand from your log file, this is a custom import package. It is failing into the last step, loading data into the cube and it seems there is no file to be loaded. If the same package is working well for the other users, this means that the user has not enough security rights to load data from that file (maybe the file contains data for which the user is not authorized to see).
To understand better what is happening, just try to activate the debug using the DEBUG(ON) instruction into EvModifyPackage. This will create more information regarding the parameters passed to your tasks and you will be able to identify the file name passed to Dump&Load task.
You can verify then into Private publication\user name\Temp files the content of file (and the content of all temporary files generated by your package) and this will help you to understand where is the problem.
Hope this can help you,
Mihaela -
