BI Content Infoobjects missing

Hi All,
I am using SAP demo version of BI 7.0 to practice at a training class. I have got BI all setup to practice. However I am missing a lot of Business Content delivered objects like InfoObject, InfoCubes etc.
I checked the table RSDIOBJ and only see 516 records in it. In my dev sandbox at work I see 27212 records. What could be the problem here in the training system.
I know there is some xml import feature that allows you to export infoobjects/cubes etc from one BI system and import them to another one. Can I export them from the dev sandbox and import it into the demo system?
Also is there any other way to import the Business Content objects. Points will definitely be awarded..

Hi,
It is because your BI training system does not have software component BI_CONT release 703. you can check it according to path: system --> status --> magnifier .

why am i unable to read my e-mails. they arrive ok, i can see them in my in box but when opening them the content is missing. i have been succsesful in opening them on other computers which dont use firefox

How to change BI Content InfoObject (move Lowercase letter mark) and transp

Hello,
1. Do you know how to change the business content infoObject by moving the mark "lowercase letter" for the characteristic (no master data) so that i can transport it in PROD.
When i tried to change it, the message i recieve is, that i have to delete the SID table. And when i want to delete the SID table, i reciéve the message that, the table content data, and that the data in the table have first to be deleted. And also, i cannot delete data in the SID table.
Actually, and by trying to resolve the problem, i see that the infoObject is NOW on "REVISED",....
2. Normally, i have to change the infoObject by removing the "lowercase letter Mark", so that by the activation, it can be transferred to a transport order i created in Solution manager PROD. But the infopackage and transformation and datasource i created before did not, give a posssibility to save this in the transport order.
3. How can i change the activated Business Content infoObject (now on REVISED) and transfer it to the transport order i created in Solution manager Prod. For example, i created a logical system in SPRO and could transfer it to the transport order, but in RSA1, by creating the objects, no dialog to transfer the Z-Bi created objects in transport ORDER is displayed.
My most important problem here is the change for the INFOOBJECT, save the change in transport order, and transport it in productiv.
4. One more question, is to know what happen with old request data in PROD infocube, after i transport the change infoObject in PROD?
Do you know how to resolve the problem?

Hi,
Did you try Delete Master Data on the right click of your Infoobject? Since your infoobject is already loaded with data, it does not allow you to change the definition. You need to delete data completely from the infoobject and change the lower case letter.
You can only transport the Active version but not revised version.
Try deleting tables in SE14 t-code.

Error activating BI content infoObject 0MDOC

Hi Experts,
I am trying to install a standard BI content infoObject 0MDOC( Measurement Document). But i am not able to install that because of some errors.
The errors looks something like this.
- >Table /BI0/SMDOC could not be activated
- >Table Type /BI0/WSMDOC could not be activated
- >View /BI0/RMDOC could not be activated
I've already check the tables, view and table type. They don't exist at all. Can anyone please provide any inputs which i can use to activate them?

just new in this community and hope you can help with my encountered problem regarding Installation in BI content.
I'm trying to activate:
InfoObject Catalog (technical name) : 0CHANOTASSIGNED
InfoObject Catalog(description)        : Unassigned characteristics
upon installation here is the job log that i got:

thanks for the response.
i verified the objects included on the BI content objects window and noticed that the object 0CUST_CLASS_TEXT "active version" is not available and i tried finding 0CUST_CLASS_TEXT_BA and cannot find it.
does this have an effect on the error i got from activating and receiving the error upon activation?

I did follow a document for Building Block Configuration Guide:
B03: General Settings for BI Integration
and the step is included here:
Activating Business Content: InfoObject Catalogs:
1.     On the Data Warehousing Workbench: Business Content screen:
a.     At the top of the right hand frame, choose Grouping and select In Data Flow Before.
b.     At the top of the right hand frame, choose Collection mode and select collect automatically.
c.     In the left hand frame, select Object Types.
d.     In the middle frame, expand InfoObject Catalog and make a double-click on Select Objects.
2.     In the Selection of Query Objects dialog box.
a.     Select the following InfoObject catalog:
0CHANOTASSIGNED
b.     Choose Transfer Selections.
c.     If a dialog box Remote Activation in the Source System <> occurs, choose OK and log on to the source system on the following screen.
d.     If a dialog box appears Exceeded runtime when collecting objects choose Continue.
3.     At the top of the right frame, choose Install and select Install in Background.
4.     In the Install Business Content in the Background dialog box choose Yes.
5.     In the Information dialog box choose Continue.
6.     Choose Exit.

Contents are missing

Unfortunately the contents are missing when i insert a new
tag in svg file. Whether It is possible to insert an additional tag
in svg file (for eg.<Bold> tag).if it possible to add please
advice me how to perform those actions.

Why would you want/need to create a new tag/element in the
content SVG? And if you are doing so, are yu properly namespacing
it?

BI Content TAB Missing in RSA1

I have installed BI Content 703 SP9 but the BI Content tab is missing in the RSA1

In my Itunes library label: My Music albums content is missing even if I down loaded from a personal CD. I was trying to make up some playlists and the music is not there but the album title and tile is.anyone have any suggestions.

I have a Dell Desktop Optiplex 380 with Windows 7 operating system. regarding use of I-Tunes library and making playlists from "My Music"I went to My Music clicked on the album tile to drag to the new playlist and all of the albums are empty. Like the tracks are labeled but not there There is a note to go to the store and buy each track for 0.99. These Albums have been in the system for several years. where are they, and what happens to them. Do I need to import again. which could be a pain

Using Microsoft IIS, the first SOAP request without the 'Content-Length' is accepted just fine.

The web service we are trying to communicate with is a third-party service that we have no control over. This service requires the name of the attribute to be in the content id field.

Hi When i try to preview my folio with the preview option located in the folio builder pane in Indesign Cs 5.5 it says it cant find the adobe content viewer. Can anyone help

I am having the exact same issue as you are in InDesign CS5.5. My Adobe Content Viewer application is also missing and is not in Applications>Adobe. I am also getting the same error message as you are when trying to use Folio Preview. So I don't repost everything here, pls. view my current thread here. I reinstalled the Folio Producer tools to no avail, and then tried to install the Adobe Content Viewer
by drilling down in the Folio Producer installer (AdobeDigitalPublishing-mul > payloads > AdobeContentViewer-mul > AdobeContentViewer.air) but was not able to because I am now getting THIS following message:
"This application cannot be installed because this installer has been mis-configured. Please contact the application author for assistance."
I am on a Mac with OS 10.7.

Business content infoobjects are still in verion 2.x & 3.x

We have upgraded our system to BI 7.0 from BW 3.5, when we check customer created infoobjects thy look fine,but business content info objects show us version 2.x and 3.x, Why is it so.do we need to do some migration for this.We used the latest version of business content available.

As sanity check ,ar you looking at the business content which was already activated before upgrade??
try to activate the business content from fresh now ,plain vanilla and see what it gets you.
