  • Bullets not showing up (Content Modules)

    Site:
    http://theoutfitters.businesscatalyst.com/learn-hike-camp.html#hiketop
A lot of the text has bullets (UL > LI) applied and they're not viewable at all.
(Site was built in Muse, uploaded to BC, and the content holders have the text part as a content module).
Help? How should I style the CSS (inline) within the content modules so that bullets show up?
    Thanks!

I've tried everything I can think of to get the music videos to sync back up with my Apple TV but its not working. Whats weird is that I can open iTunes and watch all of them on my computer screen. Plug in my iPhone and I can copy them over to that and my iPod Touch but for some reason they are not getting synced to my Apple TV.
In the Apple TV Music Settings I have SYNC Music checked. I have Include Music Videos checked then down below in the playlists I have Music Videos checked. When I go to my Apple TV it still says I have no music videos in my library!
Now I have selected playlists checked for Music. I have the same for my Photos and Podcasts and TV shows and Movies. Everything is getting synced like I want it to except for the music videos! All of my content is one folder I named iTunes 2011 on my external Hard drive.
This really has me baffled as to why I can't get my music videos to show up but can watch them with no problem on my computer and they were all bought in the iTunes store too!

  • Unable to install the adobe protected content module

I'm getting an unable to install the adobe protected content module error while trying to watch video on a website I've used millions of times (http://video.citytv.com/video/ ).    I've checked on your link to find that I'm running  version 10.3.183.29 on mac os x 10.5.8 which is the most current flash I can have with my operating system.  I've changed from Chrome, to firefox to safari to watch this site with no luck on any browsers.  I'm getting pretty frustrated.  Please Help.

    Hi Justine,
We're looking into citytv.com and the brightcove setup there.
In the meantime, could you see if "known good" content plays using the Mac OSX setup and player you have?
    1.  Open the Adobe test player http://drmtest2.adobe.com:8080/TVP/TestVideoPlayer_FP.html
    2.  In the URL field, enter http://drmtest2.adobe.com:8080/Content/anonymous.f4v     (case-sensitive)
    3.  Press the [Update Adobe CP] button.  It should log "AdobeCP update Complete. Updating time: xxxx milliseconds" at the right.
    4.  Press the [Play] button and see if you see the Getty Train video playing.
For our internal testing, we were using the 30Rock episode 6, season 7:
    http://video.citytv.com/video/detail/1971593280001.000000/aunt-phatso-vs-jack-donaghy/
What error are you getting during attempted playback?
We assume you're from Canada since CityTV is from Canada.
What we see is:  if we try to play this content from the U.S, it fails to play on any platform (Windows 7, Windows XP, Mac OSX 10.8, 10.5.7 with various browsers & players) but we see no error - just blank video area.
When we use a system in our Canada office, playback works and it also works when we use VPN.   Is it possible there is some issue with checking geo-location?   (are you perhaps inadvertently logged into a VPN to the US during your playback tests?   or traveling?)
    Thanks.

  • NM-CE-20 Content module - upgrade procedure and ftp help

Our netmodule has been successfully installed and working. Its currently running 4.2.3 and we would like to upgrade it the latest 5.1.9.5 rev. I cannot find a working procedure for doing this. When I attempt to ftp into the module's IP I get a error stating it can't set guest priviledges. When telneting into the module and doing a "DIR" I get: nothing. Anyone help me out? Is upgrading to the 5.x supported?
    Brian

To see if the version you want is supported with this hardware, check the release note
    http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/conntsw/ps491/prod_release_note09186a00802664f0.html#wp107167
Looks like the 20G module is not listed.
However it is supported in 5.0.15
    http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/conntsw/ps491/prod_release_note09186a0080234dcc.html#wp42371
The upgrade procedure is the same for any ACNS device.
So, follow the procedure described at :
    http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/conntsw/ps491/products_configuration_guide_chapter09186a0080131e84.html#1041204

  • Content engine module

Hi, is it possible for a content engine module to work in a 2600 with the following scenario? I want the clients gateway to be the 2600 with content engine installed but I want the 2600 to forward all traffic out a seperate gateway. I know a content switch can do this but can a content module in a 2600 do it too. The reason for wanting this is I want to use url filtering software such as websense and at the moment the existing gateway/firewall is not compatible with websense so Im looking to use a 2600 with content module installed to filter webtraffic and forward out the existing gateway. Thanks

    this is no problem
Just look at the nm-ce as a standalone device connected by ethernet to the 2600.
The 2600 can be the default gateway for the client and the cache [nm-ce].
The 2600 will intercept traffic from client and forward to nm-ce.
The nm-ce will use the 2600 as its default gateway.
    Gilles.

  • Multiple context on Cisco Content Switching

    Hi Everyone
I had new case with Cisco Content Switching design. The current network has two Cisco Content Module (CSM) and each of them response for switching content on one Vlan.
Now i want to reconfigure it, to meet the redundancy requirement. But i don't know Cisco Content Module have same idea of design with ACE on Route Mode.
I want configure CSM with two or more vlan pair in routed mode and it can HA between each other.
    Thanks
    Phai La Quy

    Hi Phai,
Yes you can configure CSM in routed mode with clients in one VLAN and server in another. Pasting the link for your reference. You can find more in routing and switching guide.

  • Content Holder Menu vs. Dynamic Menu--which should I be using?

I've recently taken over managing a site handled through BC. I'm trying to add submenus to our navigation but I'm struggling to determine how since the previous person set up menus via the Content Holder. Do I need to switch (or is it simply better to switch) to Dynamic Menus to have properly functioning submenus?

    Hi Cedric, thanks for replying!

What I'm wanting to do is simple enough--just to move some primary pages to subs and add subs to other primary pages. But without being a pro coder, I don't know what I can do within these content modules without screwing up the current appearance of the navigation and buttons. I've maintained pre-existing sites before and created them through Dreamweaver (I don't have access to Dreamweaver now), as well as through services and such, and I'm fine with HTML, but I've not worked with BC and the content module method so I'm lost.

  • Preview -- Content Menu vs Pages

    Hi,
When I download a document from the internet into Preview the document shows with its content menu in the drawer. As soon as I save the document in my hard drive the content menu dissapears and all I can see are the document pages making it very difficult for me to find any specific topic. Scrolling down page by page is the only way to find things.
Does anyone has any idea why this behavior? Is there any way to set it up in a way where the content menu always shows?
    Thanks in advanced.

  • ACE10-6500-K9 module in catalyst 6509 gives this error

    Hello
I have a module ACE10-6500-K9  inserted en module 8 of a catalyst 6509 that gave me this error yesterday.
The workaround is to manually reset the slot ¿ok? I try to reload and the problem persists ¿is neccesary  hardware reset to solve this probem?
Is due to a bug o hardware problem?
%C6KPWR-SP-4-DISABLED: power to module in slot 8 set off (Module not responding to Keep Alive polling)
    Thanks you very much

    Hi, a.serrano
The meaning of the message is as it says. Sup, to be specific,  Switch Processor of Sup sent continual keepalives through EOBC path and
did  not hear back for keepalives from ACE in slot 8. So the Sup reset the  ACE blade in slot 8.
I can only say that it could be h/w related or s/w related or due to  slack inserted blade with the message.
If it is h/w related, whichever chassis slot, chassis eobc  path, ACE blade,  the first thing you need to check out is that
failures  in generic on-line diagnostic (GOLD) from Sup side.
Let's  see what diagnostic is running on ACE blade.
    Router#show  diagnostic content module 1
Module 1: Application Control Engine Module
      Diagnostics test suite attributes:

P/V/* - Per port test / Per device test / NA
         D/N/* - Disruptive test / Non-disruptive test / NA
S/* - Only applicable to standby unit / NA
           X/* - Not a health monitoring test / NA
F/* - Fixed monitoring interval test / NA
E/* - Always enabled monitoring test / NA
A/I - Monitoring is active / Monitoring is inactive

K/* - Require resetting the line card after the test has completed  / NA
T/* - Shut down all ports and need reload supervisor / NA

         3) TestAsicSync --------------------> ***N****A***    000  00:00:15.00 10
With ACE blade, "3) TestAsicSync" has "A" flag which means  "Monitoring is active".
SP of Sup is sending  polling packets at a certain interval to check health of an Asic on ACE  blade.
Now let's see failure count of that.
Router#show diagnostic result module 1 detail
        3) TestAsicSync --------------------> .
              Error code ------------------> 0 (DIAG_SUCCESS)
               Total run count -------------> 47297

               Last test pass time ---------> Feb 17 2011 05:52:34
               Total failure count ---------> 0
               Consecutive failure count ---> 0
If you see failure counters incremented,  check the same thing with other blades inserted in the chassis to know
if  it is specific to slot 8 or seen with multiple slots. (different type  of blade has different type of diagnostic contents)
Also, check  dropped and retry counters SCP as below.

    Router#
LCP# means that  "Line Card Processor of slot  #".
If you see counters mentioned above incremented  continualy with the ACE blade in slot 8,
try removing /  re-inserting the blade. If it persists, consider moving the ACE blade to  other slot.
Even it persists after that, now consider h/w  replace.
If moving slot or h/w replace do not fix the reset due to keepalive failure, or those counters incrementing,
it might be s/w related issue.
I do not know what  s/w version you use, however we always recommend to take the latest
version  to have bug fixes and enhancements.
Actually we had control plane  issue with ACE that could cause not responding to keepalive
    some  times ago.
Let's isolate possibility of bad chassis and slack  inserted blade, then try s/w upgrading.
If all those effort fails, pls consider h/w replace.
If s/w upgrade is not easy option for you, try replacing ACE blade instead of s/w upgrade
and keep s/w upgrade as the last option based on your environment.

    Kim

  • CSA 5.2.0225, Rule 576, and saving attachments in Outlook 2003

We're in the process of migrating from 4.5.6139 to 5.2.0225; thus far, the migration is going extremely well - with one bizarre issue haunting my sleep.
I started seeing this behavior about 2 weeks ago, on machines that (so far as I can determine) have not had any changes made (ie, the latest round of Windows Updates have not been applied, the machines are tightly controlled, no software has been installed). It also impacts some machines running CSA 4.5.6139.
However, it does not impact ALL machines - only we have a couple machines that are not impacted.
Versions of Outlook include 2000 and 2003; all machines are Windows XP Sp2, current with patches with the expcetion of August 2007 batch.
Scenario: user opens an e-mail, and right clicks on an attachment to save it. When the common dialog control for saving as comes up, the "My Computer" icon is missing - replaced with the "blank" generic Windows icon, and CSA triggers rule 576, saying that Outlook.Exe attempted to access Explorer.Exe, and was denied.
Additionally, the machine might display more icons as blank: for example, one of our admins has the ASA ASDM Launcher on his desktop, and that shows up with a blank icon in the save as dialog, and Rule 576 is triggered with "Outlook attempted to access ADSM.exe and was denied."
In attempting to get a handle on this issue, I have put the entire "Untrusted Classification Content Module" into test mode, reset the agent on a test machine, and still rule 576 is triggered - which strikes me as bizarre, if I understand the triggering conditions correctly.
    Anybody have any thoughts?
This is not a showstopper, but I'm concerned because I don't understand why this rule has started to get triggered when we have made no change to our environment.
    TIA.

    Tom,
    Not sure I quite understand.
I'm looking at the MC, and see that "Untrusted Content Classification Module" is associated with the "Application Classification" poilcy, which is included as part of the "All Windows" group.
I was operating under the assumption that, since it is included in this policy as part of "All Windows", this was the module responsible for doing the content classification. Indeed, if I turn on logging for some of the rules, it's pretty active - and pretty active in setting e-mail content as "untrusted".
Rule 576, the one firing, is (according to the description), blocking access to @dynamic - dynamically quarantined files.
My thought was that I could create exceptions so that common stuff like "excel.exe" would not be tossed into @dynamic, and hence, Outlook could access Excel.Exe, and display the appropriate icon for spreadsheets.
But then I get all confoozled by the fact that I have some machines, with the same OS/SP/patch level, same AntiVirus, and same group membership in CSA, which do not exhibit this problem.
(If you read closely, there's a question buried in all the above. I just can't quite get it out due to my ignorance with how CSA is working it's magic.)
Thanks for taking the time to help with this.

Any advice??? Hope someone can help!

iBookstore Publisher Support send me a fast response email which included some helpful info:
Please make sure that all image files inside the ePub end with one of the following: ".tif", ".jpg", or ".png" and that the file itself matches the file extension type. To check if the image file matches the file extension type, please right click on the image then select "Get Info". Once the info tab appears, please make sure that the file extension type of the image file matches the "Kind" found under "General".
For further information regarding embedded images, please refer to the iBookstore Asset Guide, which is available for download in the Deliver Your Content module in iTunes Connect.
And they INCLUDED THE TRANSPORTER LOG (!), the log generated by iTunes Producer as it tries to upload a book. We were able to search for the Validation Error # within the log and find out which image Producer was trying to upload when it encountered an error. Turns out the problem was a corrupted screenshot jpeg.
    Grateful!

  • Enhanced book for iPad, built on iBooks Author

    Hi all
I am sorry if these are similar questions to ones asked before, but I wondered if things might be different since they were last asked.
I have delivered an enhanced book built for iPad and it is currently in the review status, not in 51 stores. My questions (of which I have heard many myths about):
    1) As it's an enhanced book (created on iBooks Author), there are lots of videos, galleries etc which make the publication about 1 gig. I have heard that although there is a 2 gig limit, some authors have had responses from Apple saying that it should be kept to max 200mb and therefore rejected. True or false do you reckon?
    2) Mine is a travel guide about a specific area of Spain and it is all about solutions to the traveller. Therefore as well as lots of text, there is a Useful Links section that links to companies websites  such as car hire  - their logos are next to the URL's in my book. Do you think Apple will be ok with their logos visible and external web links? It is simple to remove it if necessary but in truth it is a resource for my readers.
    3) I have heard varying reports of 3 hours to 55 days for the review process to be complete. Does anybody know if it is longer for an enhanced book due to the complexitied of its build?
    4) I have heard reports that if it fails, Apple will tell you how to rectify it. Is this true and is it easy to resubmit?
    5) I have also heard reports of Apple simply rejecting without explanation. That would be so painful. I have spent 6 months and a lot of investment. I would be devestated. is this true?
    6) Any other advice? It has been in review for 3 days only so far. Any ideas on current wait time for enhanced books built for ipad, created on iBooks Author?
It's an anxious time isn't it?!
    Thanks.

    1. Max size is 3 GB, but   take  into acount you want  updates at some stage and need to allow "space"
    2. URLs  are usually excepted IF they are not competitors of Apple iBooks Store - ie Amazon. Any logo is usually copyrighted by the  company.  Any potential copyright infringements  could be rejected by th review team.
    3. Time taken in Review depends how busy they are  without regard to your  content.
    4.  If your book fails the review,  you will be issued a ticket - A recent email advised changed to the ticketing procedures.
    Ticket Catalog Report
The Catalog Reports module on iTunes Connect now contains a Ticket Catalog Report. The report contains details for all tickets that have been assigned to your iTunes Connect account.
    iBooks Store Formatting Guidelines Update
The iBooks Store Formatting Guidelines include important information to help you avoid common errors when publishing on the iBooks Store. The new version of the guidelines includes updated information for copyrighted terms, supported languages, series metadata, What's New descriptions, book assets files, and more.
Download the updated iBooks Store Formatting Guidelines from the Deliver Your Content module on iTunes Connect.
    5.  The review team will pass or fail your book,  fail is dealt with above. Pass... means its in the store. All you need to  do is keep checking status in iTC.
    6. is the same asnwer as 3.    You wait and Check in iTC to monitor if your book  is passed or ticketed.
Other advice,  open iTC  >  Deliver your Content >  on the top right are a number of PDF, download and  read  study them. Below them is a video.. take time to  view the video and take notes.
The above extracts are from an email  from iBooks, the links should still work, if not  they are basically to open your iTunes Connect - Deliver your content section.
Last  bit of advice, check everything  at least twice before uploading to the store. Remember issues with copyright. Dont use anything just  because its online. Dont copy text or images from other  websites and give credits/links to any that are subject to Common Licence conditions... and finally.. be patient, time , tide and Apple move at their own speed.
