BI Content Reports listing
Hi experts,
I have a BI 7.0 fresh installation. Is there a list of reports available on a per module basis? And since we only need certain reports in some modules can I extract (or copy to active version) BI Content on a per report basis?

RSA1>BI Contenet>Objects accroding to Type>Query Elements>Query>Select Objects>Double cilk on that and give star Cube name star
Eg: 0SD_C03 and find., it will display all reports on that Cube.

Which table keeps the Discoverer Report list?
Hi,
I'm new to Discoverer, actually I haven't started to use yet.
I would like to know is it possible to retrieve a list of reports created in Discoverer so that I can add them to the standard reports that I developed using Oracle Report builder in my application. If possible, which table can I get the report list?
My second question, is it possible to run a Discoverer report directly if I have the report link? Or everytime I run I must enter the schema username and password?

With regards to question 1, I don't believe this is possible any more. The older versions were rather flexible in that approach but sadly, no more.
With regards to question 2, using a VPD you can authenticate to your heart's content using any custom defined table you wish. This is just an out of the box idea, and I don't know whether it will work, but here goes.
The table that stores public connections is this one: orasso.wwsso_psex_user_info$
I am wondering what would happen if we put a restriction on SELECT from that table to not allow selection if the SSO user was not of a certain class or did not have a certain privilege.
Would anyone else care to comment here?
By the way, inside SQL, this code SYS_CONTEXT('USERENV', 'CLIENT_IDENTIFIER') will return the SSO user.

Errors when using Web Content Reporting
Hi,
has anybody installed Web Content Reporting from the SDN download successful?
We got through the db-update and ran the aggregator component.
But we have two errors:
1.) When restarting the service, we get the following error:

did you find out why there is nothing displayed? I experience the same issue, the lists in the FORM iView are empty.
Is the aggregator not working? I get the following in the log of:

nickYou need to put these figures into context - is the time spent on these waits significant compared to the snapshot interval and the rest of the time spent in the database.
Post an extract from a statspack report (or AWR report if you are licensed for it) showing the "Top 5 Timed Events", and the "Buffer Wait Statistics" from a busy period, and then we might be able to offer some sensible advice.
PS - before posting any of the report, check how to use the "code" tags (in curly brackets) to get the output into: fixed fontRegards

The empty line is sorted as the smallest value and incase of DESCENDING it will be the first line (because of the mult by -1).
We could have overide it and incase of the empty row(usualy the last row) do not mult by -1 in DESCENDING mode.
But the problem is that the "+*compare*+" method and it's caller "*+Row+*" inner class are private :-(

As our management requested, we need a monthly report listing out ALL open PO for CDG, APR Someone tell me to input cost centre but it is time consuming to input it as we have over 100 cost centers. Do you know if I can input SPG/profit center or other data to run this report instead ? Selection parameters as WE101 Open goods receipt (select as per ur need )
then execute u will get the list for open po
now if u want it to specify the profit center then go to ME2N and select dynamic selecion (shift +F4)
now u will get a smaal scrren , in purchaseing doc item selct profit center
now u can see the profit center selection field ,give a proper profit center and follow the process as given above

Unable to open reports listed in Workspace
Hi All,
I am using EPM 11.1.1.1.0 .
I have created a few reports from the Financial Reporting Studio.
And i have a user who has the "Administrator" provision for "Reporting and Analysis".
When i log into workspace with this user id i get the "Explore" option and i can see the reports listed there but when i try to open it the following error pops up.
Required application context reporting is not available. Please contact your administrator.
I have checked my Financial Reporting Services and they are running fine.

Content type, list definition and List instance - query
Dear all,
I created a list content type, list definition and list instance for a SessionsList.
I did mistake when created a event receiver file where field name is RegistrationsInfo - did typo error as RegistrationInfo. This field I want to make it as false in the ShowInNewForm= false
When I deploy it with event receiver file - I am getting stack trace error stating that the RegistrationsInfo field is missing.
Without event receiver file - when I deploy the solution and checked the field name - it is showing rightly as RegistrationsInfo.

Can somebody help me - how to overcome the RegistrationsInfo missing field - error(in the stack trace) when activating the feature in the training site?

Seems the field “RegistrationsInfo” is not been found when deploying with Event Receiver, a possible reason is that it might be damaged.
As a workaround, I suggest you retract the solution from your farm, make sure the “RegistrationsInfo” field is deleted using PowerShell, then create another project with the same
content and perform the deployment again.

How to include in table of contents the list of figures and list of tables?
How to include in table of content the "Table of contents", "List of figures" and "List of tables"? All are generated with function Table of contents, but they will not appear in generated table of contents even if they have proper style of headings - Heading 1, as other chapter.
I get this in generated Table of contentes of my dissertaion thesis:

Is it ok, that generated lists are not included in table of contents?You've just confused me.
My understanding of how this is set up is that either:
This is a book, and there is a master TOC that includes all book documents and a document-specific TOC in each component file, or
This is a single file and there is one master TOC that includes all sections and a section-specific TOC that includes only the individual section.
In the first case, I think you would want two TOC styles set up, one that includes the chapter heads (if I understood how you said this worked) for the for the master, and you would include all docs in the book when you generate it, and a second style for the individual chapters, with the subheadings you want to include.
In the second case, it would be similar, but instead of only one style to cover the section TOCS, I think you would need to create a unique set of pargraph styles for the headings in each section (they can all be the same format, based one section, just with unique names), and then make a TOC style for each section that includes only the styles from that section.
OK, wait a sec. I just reread what you said: "Another thing: when the numbers are "linked" and updating well, they display indide a little box. Not a text box, but a kind of little frame around the numbers. That frame makes it imposible to delete just one number: when the TOC says that Section 6.1 is in page 135, for example, you cannot delete just the 5, it deletes, not just the 3 numbers, but also the doted tab."
I think these are NOT normal TOCs created by using Layout > TOC (but you could replace them with ones that are, if you set up your styles properly and the text you want to include is appearing on the pages). Those little boxes you mention sound like cross-references, which should update automatically without any intervention at all. Unfortunately, cross-refs can be flakey, especially if they point to another document. I'd open the cross-refs panel and see if you need to recreate a bunch of links. -

According to your description, my understanding is that you want to select the specific content type in new item form.
This is a default behavior. The "Add new item" link uses the default content type and does not display a dropdown list to change that value. This behavior is hard coded into the control and can't be changed.

Hot links to report listing journal entries for an account
Hi Experts,
We are going live soon with BPC-NW and have some questions regarding BPC-Excel reports, all done with EVDRE() function. Our BPC service pack level is 05, we are using Excel 2007 SP2 for the client and BW 7.01 ABAP Stack (Enh Pack 1) on the server side.
We want to produce an Excel standad report with hot links to a report listing journals entries, passing it a parameter (account) so the report would list all journals and their entries for that account, and, so far, we haven't been able to find out how to do it.
We tried using buttons and associate them with macro MNU_eJOURNAL_REPORT but it doesn't open the report journal by account directly and doesn't seem to accept any parameters.
Has anyone found a way to do this?

Yes, we do manage our stock by warehouse. I went to admin->setup-> stock-> and then 'item groups' and 'warehouses' and checked the accounting tab. In both cases the 'Sales return Account' is marked as our stock account. Are there more hidden places I can look? Thanks

PO release codes in report/list
Hello,
Is there any Purchse order report/list, where we can see the release status's. For eg if there are two level release codes applicable to a purchase order (L1 & L2) , can we see the release code and whether released or not ?
I know there is a way to restrict PO's based on dynamic selections of ME2N, but we require the actual relase code and status.

You can the desired report through t/code: ME2L / ME2M , after executing the report go the change layout & select the Release code / release status field. Release staus field will be appear like , if first release is done , the status will come as X or if second release done, the it will come XX. And from release indicator field , you can get the code release code .
