Look iTunes>Preferences>Devices...is a backup listed for your iPhone 5 dated BEFORE you restored your iPhone 4 backup to your iPhone 5? If not, your data is gone. If there is a backup, on your iPhone 5: Settings>General>Reset>Erase All Content & Settings. You should now be able to restore that backup, if it exists, to your iPhone 5.

What are the drawbacks to adding a Site Content Type to the Document Site Column?

I have a client who has enough SharePoint knowledge to be dangerous.
They are requesting that a Column be added to all Document Libraries everywhere. We built a solution that would require a bit of work when a Site Collection is created, and it would require that we run a script to identify if there are any Libraries
that do not have this Column attached.
This client wants to know why we didn't just add this Column to the default Document Site Content Type. I don't know specifics as to why that's not a good idea, just that it's not a good idea.
Can anyone point me to a resource that identifies the reasons why this is not recommended?

I'd say there's a risk that patches or upgrades could be affected by this, or overwrite the change.
In the past I've derived a Company specific Document Content Type from the Base Document CT, and added any new company wide columns to that new CT.

Multiple Queues(Content Specific) - Can't get more than two queues

Hi,
I have a ccBPM scenario, which collects messages read by the file adapter and then sends them grouped.
It's working fine in many different configurations, but I'd like to configure it in a way described in the PDF "How Tou2026 Configure Inbound Processing in ccBPM Part II: Queue Assignment", which is using Multiple queues - content specific.
If I put 2 queues (after defining a correlation for a message field batchID), it works fine. The messages with batchID=A are processed by one instance process from queue 001, and the messages with batchID=B are processed by another instance process from queue 002.
But if I put 4 queues (SWF_INB_CONF), all the message still keep going to just 2 queues, and not 4. There is no problem, because still the messages with batchID = X are all processed by the same instance process, but I want to add more parallelization to the process using 4 queues.
I've refreshed cache and reactivated, but it will still work with 2 queues and not 4. I've also made sure that the files read have 4 different batchIDs equally distributed among all the files.
I don't know what I'm missing...

Solved it with SAP help.
It seems that even if you config 4 queues (content-specific) to be used in SWF_INB_CONF, it is normal that not all queues allowed are used at runtime. The messages are distributed to the queues based on the correlation defined for the process, narrowing down the result afterwards to the number of allowed queues using a hash algorithm.
Often it is necessary to specify 50-100% more queues to load the actually intended number of queues with messages.
I could reach 4 queues really used setting the parameter to 10 queues.

Content compression via the mod_plsql Gateway

I've written a compression filter for the mod_plsql Gateway.

There are no restrictions in mod_plsql on how big a document
you can upload.
But, we have recently fixed an upload related issue in mod_plsql
which was related to specific content in the document lying at
a specific boundary. The fix will be made available
in 3.0.9.8.4 of mod_plsql, scheduled for release in 4 weeks If
this is an urgent issue, please contact support to get a one-off
patch. The patch will most probably not be needed because the
workaround is fairly trivial. Slightly modify the content (add
spaces or newlines etc) so that the specific boundary condition
issue is not encountered.
But, you could well be encountering this issue due to a very
old version of mod_plsql. To fully know the problem, it is
important to get some details from you
- What version of iAS/database is this?
- What is the version of mod_plsql?
- What platform is this?
- Scan the Apache error_log file for errors specific to the
upload?
- How long do you need to wait before you see the error page?
- Does modifying the content change the results?

Is DRM authorization specific to the .SWF?

I've made changes to my player and recompiled the SWF. When I play a video, the DRM voucher is invalid. However, on the same browser, if I play the same video from the same location using the original, un-modified SWF, the DRM voucher is valid. This leads me to believe that the DRM voucher is not only specific to my browser (or more specifically, the browser's Flash plugin), but it's also specific to the .SWF? I really hope I'm missing something here - this would mean new licenses would have to be retrieved every time I make a change to my player and recompile the SWF. Thank you.
UPDATE:
It appears the DRM voucher is specific to a .SWF file located in a specific directory. In other words, if I have the player in wwwroot/dir1 and retrieve a license for a piece of content, then I put the same player in wwwroot/dir2 and play the exact same content, the voucher is not valid. Can you confirm this?

Flash Access supports SWF and AIR app whitelisting, which means that a license can specify that content may only be played in certain SWF or AIR applications. A SWF can be identified by its URL -- in this case, if you change the URL for the SWF, but only the original URL is specified in the license, then playback should fail, and the client should return error 3310. Alternatively, a SWF can be identified by a hash of the SWF content. If you make changes and recompile the SWF, teh hash value would change.
Check the policy used to package your content to see if a SWF whitelist has been specified, and if necessary, update the whitelist with your new SWF's URL or hash. If nothing is specified in the policy, check your license server to see if it is overriding the information in the policy.

That variable could be simply called... nextSection
If you plan to use frame labels, than nextSection would be a String, otherwise it would be an Int (integer). So when you click the button for section X of the site, the nextSection value is assigned either the frame label or the frame number of that button's section. Then at the end of your outro, you have a line of code.... gotoAndPlay(nextSection)
The nextSection variable should be declared in an actions layer that only has code in frame one but extends unbroken for the full length of the timeline. This makes it available to anywhere along the timeline where it needs to be either read or assigned. I sually use two layers for actions... one to hold such things like this that get shared anywhere along the timeline (function/variables)... and another for frame-specific actions (stop, value assignment, function calls, etc)

How to hide a content profile to the end users?

We want to show a content profile to the users belonging to a specific security group?
How Should I accomplish that?
I defined a rule with the following expression:
(#active.dSecurityGroup like "mygroup")
And we associated the additional fields to the expression.
We created a content profile with the associated rule.
It works fine, however I don't want to enable to the users that don't belong to the group "mygroup" the content profile created.

In configuration manager, the profile tab, select the profile. There is a checkbox for personalisation rules. Tick it and then click the enabled button to define the rules - one for checkin and one for search.

RNIF Angled brackets in the Content Id in the attachment

Hello All,
I'm working on an RNIF interface with a PIDX message and an attachment . Everything is working fine until this new requirement came up . The partner that we are communicating with needs the content-id of the attachment to be enclosed in angled brackets <>. I know that this issue has been resolved in PI 7.1 EHP1 , but we are on PI 7.0 .
Please let me know if there is a support pack in 7.0 for this and if so which one . Thanks.

The parameter is not available for SP14. Note #1554216 is a relatively new note. SAP will generally provide fixes for the previous 3 SP releases (e.g. SP24, SP23 and SP22 in this case).
It looks like this specific fix was provided for a customer on SP12. I guess you will need to request they do the same for your SP14 release (if upgrading is not an option for you).

Retreiving the content created with the Note Tool via Javascript??

Hey guys, is it possible to retrieve the text content created with the Note Tool from the tool palette in a photoshop document via Javascript? Basically, I wanted to store some text inside the Photoshop psd document, and then later on I can use scripting to access the content to be use as variables.
I have search the Javascript scripting reference pdf and the forum here, and I can't find any info the Note Tool. Much appreciated.

Ok, so I am using the activeDocument.info.keywords property to store my text content. The content is basically a chunk of text that contains some parameters that the user can modify to save out a document. In my script, I am using a variable to store the content from the info.keywords property. But my next hurdle is how can I extract specific part of that variable into other variables, like storing the C:\projects\Textures\ into another variable? I've done some research and got a sense that the "match" method in javascript along with the use of regular expressions might do the job. But I am stuck. Any suggestions?

Thanks! For whatever bizarre reason for which I have no answer - I sync'd my iPad to my MBP the old fashion way (not iCloud) and the movie showed up just fine. It is Nikon camera 'how to' video. I like to watch them for a better indepth discovery of what the camera can do. The only weird thing about the hard wire sync is that it was placed in a catagory "home movies" which was never there before...actually it showed up in two places "home movies" and TV shows.

Can you print all the tab control's contents and include the tabs?

We are trying to generate a report that includes the contents of a tab control (graphs, text). Using the Append Control Image to Report.vi, we are only able to print out the active tab and the tab is cut off of the image. How can we generate reports that include all the tab pages and their contents and include the labeling tabs?

I do have a workaround for makinging the prints but it looks like some sort of cropped screensave that cuts off the tabs. In my sample I was printing out 3 of the tab controls and you can see there are three by the cut off tabs. Is there a setting to allow for more of the graph and its surroundings to be "captured"?

How do I only allow SPECIFIC webpages the ability to refresh or redirect?

Is there some way to have FIrefox only allow specific webpages the ability to reload or refresh a page? I already know of the
Tools -> Advanced -> Warn me when webpages attempt to refresh or reload the page
option. I am looking for the ability to only allow specific webpages, not ALL webpages.

Without additional information on the addon, as the documentation provided is sorely lacking, this addon doesn't help much.
Now if Firefox itself had a built-in whitelist / blacklist of pages allowed to redirect/refresh automatically, I'd be all for it.
