BI diagnostic  execute

Hello
I had excuted the BI Diagnostic tool  in the portal, now I got  two messages ( red traffic light ) and I don`t know  what is the problem
1.- BI Master system
Check
Error while connecting to BI mastersystem via RFC: com.sap.mw.jco.JCO$Exception:Ticket contains no/an empty ABAP user ID (refer to note 1159962)
Solution
Check connection properties in Portal Systemlandscape for the property category 'Connector' (other_vendors/every_user/Systems/SAP_BW)
I checked the RFC between POrtal and BI system and these is running ok
2.- WebAS ABAP Settings
RFC to ABAP was done via entering connection properties manually. Enter connection properties in Portal Systemlandscape for the property category 'Connector' (other_vendors/every_user/Systems/SAP_BW)
How  can I check   the problem exactly??
Any suggestion
Thanks
Danny

  • CSA 5.0 blocking IBM DSA diagnostic executable

    I need to run a diagnostic on our Unity servers.
    CSA is denying it.
    I have not worked with CSA much.
    Do I need to disable it to allow this diagnostic to run or is there a way to grant permission or something?

    Hi,
    Not sure what versions you are using there.
    I am assuming you are using the headless version (you dont have CSA management console and are using the standalone version)
    But you can disable CSA while you do your thing.
    From a VNC / KVM or directly on server - (do not do it through RDP) - It will ask you to allow the action, and possibly verify a code on the desktop itself when you stop the service.
    Go to services.msc
    Select the Cisco Security Agent service.
    Stop it
    If you will reboot as part of your work then also set it to disabled so it doesnt restart automatically.
    When you are done, set it to automatic and start it again.
    Cheers,
    Tim

  • How I tried fix my partitions and restore a Dell Diagnostic Partition.

    UPDATED: 2 September 2012
    UPDATE: Now that I reflect back on the incidence, I realize that the Dell Utility partition had lost its ability to boot long before I had messed up my partition table. But I realized it only when I was testing all my partitions after fixing the partition table. But as I have already written this long post, lets just keep it here for future reference of anyone else stumbling across a similar problem. Read on to know about my experience.
    RECOMMENDATION: I do not recommend trying out all the steps below as they did not completely solve the problem for me. If you need the Diagnostic Utility, download the update package from Dell's support website for your model. This package can be used to create a boot-able USB drive and/or CD/DVD. These work fine and are pretty fast also.
    Something strange happened to me and I am now reporting my experience in trying to solve it (somewhat unsuccessfully!!)
    First of all, my setup is: Dell Studio 1555 laptop. I dual boot Windows 7 and Archlinux. So here's how it went:
    After using the partitioning tool Gparted under Archlinux to resize a partition, I found a problem had occurred. The Partition was NTFS formatted and all of my data files were stored on it. The partition worked fine under Archlinux as I was able to access my files fine under it. But in Windows, although the partition was listed under Windows explorer, it wanted to format it!! When I tried to access the partition it gave an error that it was not formatted (
    The drive is not formatted, do you want to format it now?
    ). Of course, that was not right and Gparted had messed something up. I fixed that using Testdisk under Archlinux (See the Details). So now the partition problem under windows was fixed. But now another problem cropped up under Archlinux. When I booted into Archlinux and started Gparted to confirm everything was fine I saw something strange in Gparted. The whole space on my hard disk was marked as "unallocated" under Gparted. Windows and Archlinux could "see" the partitions. By this I mean that I was able to boot fine under both my OSes. And I could access all my files under all my partitions. But somehow Gparted was not able to "see" them. Gparted was reporting my whole disk to be marked as unallocated. After that I researched a lot and lots of stuff happened experimenting to fix the problem. I used a lot of utilities. But actually only one fixed the problem-fixparts from the gptfdisk package. But it seemed like a lot of work trying to get the problem fixed (See the Details).
    Now we get to the point in discussion. I was able to get my partitions back under Gparted. But I lost the Dell Diagnostics Utility partition's ability to boot up. [Actually, now that I reflect back on the incidence, I realize that the Dell Utility partition had lost its ability to boot long before I had messed up my partition table. But I realized it only when I was testing all my partition after fixing the partition table. But more on this later.] It gave an error that the partition was not found.
    So, in short: After all this restoring partitions' visibility under Gparted, I realized that the Dell Utility partition on my Studio 1555 was not booting up. To explain this, it means that when I press F-12 when starting the laptop and select Diagnostics from the menu to run the Diagnostic Utility and after running the Pre-boot System Assesment tests when I consented to boot the Diagnostic Utility partition, it gave me the error that the partition was not found. When I tried to run the "Dell 32 Bit Diagnostics (Graphical User Interface version)" update package under Windows, it resulted in a similar error: Partition not found.
    For some background on what makes the Dell Utility partition so special, please read this thread and the third post on this thread.
    WARNING: You and only you are responsible for your data. Please make a backup before performing any of the partitioning steps below.
    NOTE: Please read the entire post before actually performing the steps.
    So, to try and fix this I did the following:
    Boot into Windows 7.
    Open Disk Management under the Computer Management console (To open the Computer Management console, right click on Computer in the Start menu and select Manage).
    Reformat the Dell Diagnostic Utility partition as FAT(not FAT32). This is the first partition on the drive (marked as Healthy (OEM Partition) under the Status column). [This step may not be required, however I had done it. See Notes below.]
    UPDATE: After reading around a bit I found that these steps to format the partition might not actually be necessary. Simply changing the type of the partition (as detailed below) might also work. However as I had done that, lets just keep these steps over here.
    Reboot into a Linux distribution Live CD (I had Ubuntu 10.10). Or, If you dual boot with a Linux distribution that does not complain about the now inconsistent fstab entry, you can also boot into that distribution directly. I had to boot into Live CD to fix my /etc/fstab.
    UPDATE: After considering all the aspects from start to end I have come to a conclusion regarding the efficacy of this method on dual boot machines with Windows and Linux installed. I doubt anyone with a dual boot Windows/Linux setup would be able to boot into the Dell Diagnostic Utility even with the Utility Partition restored. This is detailed below.
    (As noted above my Archlinux install did not boot up after I had reformatted  my Dell Diagnostic Utility partition. This is because I was mounting the Dell Utility partition at boot using fstab inside Archlinux. And I was using the UUID to mount the partition. After reformatting the partition its UUID changed. So, it wouldn't mount. And because of how my fstab was setup Archlinux won't boot. So, I had to boot into a live environment to fix this. This step applied only to me. YRMV.) Fix the fstab entry.
    (This step also applied to me.) Boot into the repaired Linux Distribution.
    And open a Terminal.
    In the open terminal run fdisk on your drive, e.g.,
    fdisk /dev/sda
    This is how it looks:

    Download the required Diagnostics Update Package from the Drivers Download page for your model. Got mine from here.
    Run the downloaded package under the OS you it downloaded for. That is, run the .exe on Windows. Or, if you downloaded the .bin file for Linux then first make it executable:
    chmod u+x CL1367A0.bin
    And now run it under a Linux distribution with an older version of python installed (I think <2.7). I say this because the .bin package didn't run on an updated Archlinux for me, probably because it has the latest python. I ran it from the Ubuntu 10.10 Live CD and it ran fine under that.
    On Windows, If you are not automatically prompted with an option to update your Utility Partition then you need to browse to the location where the package was extracted (for me it was C:\dell\drivers\R239866).
    Now you need to manually run the extracted file (for me it was DDDP.exe). Most probably you'll need to right-click it and run it as an Administrator. And if all went well, it will extract/update the diagnostic utilities to/on the Dell Utility Partition.
    I believe the above steps should be sufficient for someone who's lucky and who's update package is smart enough. However these steps were not sufficient for me. My "Partition not found" error was gone because I had changed the partition type. And so the update package was able to recognize the partition and extract the necessary files to it. But I was still not able to boot the utility partition. After the Pre-boot System Assessment although I no longer got the "Partition not found" error, but I was just dropped onto the GRUB boot menu prompt.
    [UPDATE: As stated above, I realize that the recovery partition had lost its ability to boot long before I had messed up my partition table. But I realized it only when I was testing all my partition after fixing the partition table. Please refer to this forum thread for further Details. I  do not think that it is possible longer to boot from the Dell Utility Parttion on my setup which has GRUB installed to the MBR. But the rest of the post documents my attempts to slove the problem without the knowledge from the forum post.]
    Anyways, it was a pain to again and again set up/update the partition and test it after waiting half an hour or so for the Pre-boot System Assessment to complete. But I was determined to solve the problem at-least partially, until next time. So I created a GRUB entry to boot the Utility partition. Assuming the partition is the first partition on the drive (which is the case here), the grub entry is simply:
    title Dell Utility
    rootnoverify (hd0,0)
    chainloader +1
    I tried downloading an older update package. I updated my Partition with it. And tested. Still, I was unsuccessful. I researched a little bit and found this link. Out of frustration,I decided to use brute force this time . So, the below are the steps which let me have at-least a glimpse of The Dell Diagnostic Utility booting up from the partition:
    Backup your partition table using the sfdisk command (not fdisk).
    Follow the instructions in the link I gave above (i.e., http://community.spiceworks.com/how_to/show/1123) and build your Utility Partition from scratch.
    Now after that when you try to boot into the OS you'll be presented with an blue bar on top. This is because the mkup batch file from the Dell Diagnostic/Drivers CD/DVD wiped your partition table and rewrote it with only one partition on it- the Dell utility partition.
    Boot into a Live environment and restore your partition table from the backup created earlier using sfdisk.
    Now boot with a Windows disc to repair your Windows boot problem. This applied to me but may not apply to you.
    Again boot into a live environment and restore GRUB to MBR.
    After a reboot press F-12 to get to the BIOS boot menu and select Diagnostics.
    Let the Pre-boot Assessment run and after its complete it will ask you to press any key to boot the Dell Utility partition. Do that.
    You'll notice your still dropped into GRUB instead of getting the Diagnostics GUI.
    Now when on GRUB prompt don't boot any other OS.
    Press any key (other than <Enter>, that is ) to stop the timer if you have one set.
    Now look carefully at the boot menu.
    Remember I told you that I had created a GRUB menu entry to boot the Dell Utility partition. Select that. And if you are lucky you might just be able boot the partition. This worked for me (finally!).
    After this initial run I was unable to run the Diagnostics GUI from the GRUB menu entry again. I haven't tried to re-run the Pre-boot Assessment and wait to see, if I'm able to boot it from there. But now, I'm satisfied that at-least the file there are in a running condition.
    Also, the update package can be used to create boot-able USB drives or boot-able CD/DVDs which can run the Diagnostics just fine. They are almost as fast as the partition (especially the USB which seems even faster). They are recommend, instead of going into this trouble to recreate the partition. That is unless you are a purist/perfectionist .
    Notes:
    At first, I panicked and tried a lot of steps that are not exactly documented above for the sake of convenience to others who might refer.
    I have thus rewritten the post in a manner to make it very general in nature as it did not become very fruitful for myself.  If you attempt to use this guide, use common sense where necessary .
    Of course, if you are trying to build a Utility partition on a bare hard drive or you're feeling adventurous, you can always follow this link .

    bhadotia wrote:Anyway's the file downloaded from dell to update the partition for Studio 1555 is corrupted (checksums don't match). My partition still doesn't boot. I'm working to fix this and will update my post when I'm done.
    The file seems to create the CD/DVD/Image and USB just fine. So I used this only to create a CD image which I then wrote on a blank CD which seems to work fine. Also, I played around a bit and had some partial success in booting the partition. I've updated my original opening post with the new findings.
    Whew!! what a waste of time! Never want to do all of this again .

    Hello cor-el, thanks for your reply. I changed my settings for downloads to desktop and it has appeared on there. When I double click I am asked which program I want to open file. I click firefox and another box "opening install" says I have chosen to open the file which is an application and do I want to save it. This is the only real option so I press save file. I get a box saying this is an executable file which may contain viruses - do you want to run. I press ok and the final box showing C drive file name and desktop appears stating application not found.
    This happens the same whenever I try to install.
    To my untrained eye the application is not being recognised as an application and I cannot work out how to get it to do that.
    My plugin is still showing as out of date.
    Is there anything you could suggest. Thanks for your time.

  • Why is my executable VI not working with a PCI-6259?

    I have bought a PCI-6259 which has referencing trigger capability. I wrote a VI for acquiring the data and tested the VI on my PC that has the full developmental LabView 8.2.1 package installed.  The trigger is a 1 volt level that is triggered by a potentiometer ranging from 0-5 volts that I control manually. The VI works exactly how I want it to, however, now I want to use the Application Builder to create an executable to distribute the VI to the testing station PC. I then removed the PCI-6259 from the developmental PC and installed it in the testing station PC and loaded the executable VI along with the LabView 8.2.1 Run Time Engine. I open the program and it runs but I cannot get the program to trigger using the same potentiometer so it runs in an infinite loop.  I'm pretty sure everything is loaded correctly and the only difference between the two stations is that one has the full developmental LabView package and the other is an executable. Would anyone know why my executable is not working?
    Thanks,
    Matt Kostyal

    Hey Matt,
    Thanks for contacting National Instruments support.  One thing I'd like to see you try in the DAQ diagnostic utility.  I do not suspect a bad card, but it is an executable that we can try that we know was properly built.  If it doesn't work that will give us some more insight into the problem if it is truly hardware or software.
    Let me know what you find.

  • Stored Procedure  is taking too long time to Execute.

    Hi all,
    I have a stored procedure which executes in 2 hr in one database, but the same stored procedure is taking more than 6 hour in the other database.
    Both the database are in oracle 11.2
    Can you please suggest what might be the reasons.
    Thanks.

    In most sites I've worked at it's almost impossible to trace sessions, because you don't have read permissions on the tracefile directory (or access to the server at all). My first check would therefore be to look in my session browser to see what the session is actually doing. What is the current SQL statement? What is the current wait event? What cursors has the session spent time on? If the procedure just slogs through one cursor or one INSERT statement etc then you have a straightforward SQL tuning problem. If it's more complex then it will help to know which part is taking the time.
    If you have a licence for the diagnostic pack you can query v$active_session_history, e.g. (developed for 10.2.0.3, could maybe do more in 11.2):
    SELECT CAST(ash.started AS DATE) started
         , ash.elapsed
         , s.sql_text
         , CASE WHEN ash.sql_id = :sql_id AND :status = 'ACTIVE' THEN 'Y' END AS executing
         , s.executions
         , CAST(NUMTODSINTERVAL(elapsed_time/NULLIF(executions,0)/1e6,'SECOND') AS INTERVAL DAY(0) TO SECOND(1)) AS avg_time
         , CAST(NUMTODSINTERVAL(elapsed_time/1e6,'SECOND') AS INTERVAL DAY(0) TO SECOND(1)) AS total_time
         , ROUND(s.parse_calls/NULLIF(s.executions,0),1) avg_parses
         , ROUND(s.fetches/NULLIF(s.executions,0),1) avg_fetches
         , ROUND(s.rows_processed/NULLIF(s.executions,0),1) avg_rows_processed
         , s.module, s.action
         , ash.sql_id
         , ash.sql_child_number
         , ash.sql_plan_hash_value
         , ash.started

                  , CAST(MAX(sample_time) - MIN(sample_time) AS INTERVAL DAY(0) TO SECOND(0)) AS elapsed
                  , sql_id
                  , sql_child_number
                  , sql_plan_hash_value
             FROM   v$active_session_history
             WHERE  session_id = :sid
             AND    session_serial# = :serial#
             GROUP BY sql_id, sql_child_number, sql_plan_hash_value ) ash
           LEFT JOIN
           ( SELECT sql_id, plan_hash_value
                  , sql_text, SUM(executions) OVER (PARTITION BY sql_id) AS executions, module, action, rows_processed, fetches, parse_calls, elapsed_time
                  , ROW_NUMBER() OVER (PARTITION BY sql_id ORDER BY last_load_time DESC) AS seq

    WHERE  s.seq = 1
    ORDER BY 1 DESC;:sid and :serial# come from v$session. In PL/SQL Developer I defined this as a tab named 'Session queries' in the session browser.
    I have another tab named 'Object wait totals this query' containing:
    SELECT LTRIM(ep.owner || '.' || ep.object_name || '.' || ep.procedure_name,'.') AS plsql_entry_procedure
         , LTRIM(cp.owner || '.' || cp.object_name || '.' || cp.procedure_name,'.') AS plsql_procedure

         , wait_class
         , o.owner
         , o.object_nameIt's not perfect and the numbers aren't reliable, but it gives me an idea where the time might be going. While I'm at it, v$session_longops is worth a look, so I also have 'Longops' as:

    Apart from this type of monitoring, you might try using DBMS_PROFILER (point and click in most IDEs, but you can use it from the SQL*Plus prompt), and also instrument your code with calls to DBMS_APPLICATION_INFO.SET_CLIENT_INFO so you can easily tell from v$session which section of code is being executed.

  • PDF loaded using ActiveX will not load when the executable is used on another computer

    Hello,
    I am fairly new to Labveiw and have created a CAN diagnostic tool which uses an ActiveX control to display the CAN Spec PDF on the front panel. This works absolutely fine and still works fine when I create and use an executable on the same computer. However, I need to use the application on multiple computers that do not have Labview installed, and therefore require the executable. I have tried placing a copy of the PDF in the "Volume" folder and recreating the .exe with that path, then placing it in the same location on another computer, but no luck. I am fairly certain it has to do with the static file path, set in the Main VI, since it refers to a static location that does not necessarily exist on the next computer. I need some way to get around this though, so that I can easily transfer the application from one computer to another. The code I am using is very simple; I just open Adobe Reader and the file during initialization then close the reference path (see attached picture). Any Ideas?
    Thank you for your assistance!

    A solution that I have found to work well is to use the Project Directory node as a root path. In the development environment this node will always return the path to the directory containing the project that is calling it. In an executable, it returns the path to where the executable is located.
    With that known starting point, I can put files like that pdf in either the same directory as the project/executable or a subdirectory of that location and I can always find it.
    When creating a build spec you can include non-LV files and specify destinations for them. Likewise, the installer will then put these files where they belong during the installation.

  • Calling LrTasks.execute from within a plug in manager control

    I'm working on a Lightroom post-processing-filter plug in which has most of the functionality inside an executable that resides inside the plug in folder.
    The executable is responsible for doing the actual photo processing but is also responsible for obtaining and verifying that there is a valid license. This means that I need to let the user eneter an activation code, pass that to the executable which will talk to our server and get a license.
    I would like to handle that activation part from the plug-in manager dialog so I've added a top section (see following code) with a text field and a button and I've added code to call the executable when the button is pressed, but the executalbe is never called.
    Is what I'm trying to do impossible? Any workarounds?
    Thanks in advance!
    Eyal
    function PluginManager.sectionsForTopOfDialog( f, p )
              p.my_result = 0
    return {
              -- section for the top of the dialog
                        bind_to_object = p,
                        title = "MyPlug",
                        f:row {
                                  spacing = f:control_spacing(),
                                  f:static_text {
                                            title = LrView.bind( "my_result")
                                  f:push_button {
                                            width = 150,
                                            title = 'Run Exe',
                                            enabled = true,
                                            action = function()
                                                      command = '"' .. LrPathUtils.child(LrPathUtils.child( _PLUGIN.path, "mac" ), "MyTool" ) .. '" ' .. '-action check"'
                                                      quotedCommand = command
                                                      p.my_result = LrTasks.execute( quotedCommand )
                                            end,
    end

    Thanks Rob,
    I'm afraid it didn't work for me. The code inside postAsyncTaskWithContext is not executed, as far as I could see. I didn't see any diagnostic messages.

  • Bounded task flow not executing in a default view activity.

    Hi,
    I am practising Region to Region Interaction between two bounded taskflows in an unbounded task flow.
    I will just illustrate the theme:
    *Unbounded task flow[ DEfault view activity(view1)]*
    view1 contains Bounded task flow task 1 and task2.
    task 1 contains fragment frag1 .
    task 2 contains fragment frag2. I want to establish communication between task 1 and task2 through contextual events.
    I have created managed bean seperately for each bounded taskflow bean1 in task1 and bean2 in task2 which are in session scope that is frag1 vaues are maaped to bean1 and frag 2 values are mapped to bean2.
    I completed full flow of creating contextula events and event map too. I was stuck with errror.
    So I created an application only with default view activity containg boundsed taskflow and fragments and respective beans without contextual event and event map , so that i can make sure atleast my basicview is executing properl;y. But I failed to have result.
    Error is shown below:

    The error logs point to an error in your EL that references the frag1 bean. Firstly, rather than use session scope you must consider using pageFlowScope for your managed bean.

  • RDBMS PROBLEM DIAGNOSTIC

    제품 : ORACLE SERVER
    작성날짜 : 1995-02-06
    Subject: Recommended Diagnostic Practices
    The diagnostic procedures outlined here are intended as guidelines
    to dealing with various categories of errors. This is by no means
    an exhaustive list as the nature of the specific error invariably dictates
    the type and amount of diagnostic tracing that is required.
    Based on the information gathered via these guidelines it may be necessary
    to successively obtain further traces, as required by Oracle Development.
    This may be an iterative process.
    1. DATA CORRUPTIONS
    1.1 Description of Category
    This category includes all block format corruptions, invalid index entries,
    and corruptions of meta-data (eg.data dictionary).
    1.2 Example:
    ORA-600 [3339] on System datafile
    1.3 Typical Diagnostic Actions:
    (a) Get trace file(s), if the corruption reported as an internal error.
    (b) For table corruptions, attempt to use index (if available) to extract
    data from uncorrupted blocks.
    (c) Obtain redo dumps corresponding to the time of corruption.
    (d) If there is reason to suspect vendor OS problem, complete H/W
    diagnostics need to be carried out.
    (e) Where appropriate, determine if generic or port-specific issue.
    2. LOGICAL CORRUPTIONS
    2.1 Description of Category
    This category refers to cases where the data stored or retrieved by
    a query is incorrect although it isn't necessary that an error is returned
    externally.
    It also includes data dictionary inconsistencies without any detectable block corruption.
    2.2 Example:
    Query returns different results with CBO vs. Rule-based
    2.3 Typical Diagnostic Actions:
    (a) Obtain a reproducible test case or dial-in information.
    (b) Record any visible error messages, get trace files.
    (c) Where appropriate, determine if generic or port-specific issue.
    3. SYSTEM HANGS
    3.1 Description of Category
    This category includes the cases where:
    (i) the database hangs on open after media or instance recovery,
    (ii) the system hangs with users unable to logon or execute operations.
    3.2 Example:
    Database spinning in transaction recovery, on attempting to open.
    3.3 Typical Diagnostic Actions:
    (a) Stack and process state dumps of all Oracle processes, including hung
    processes using the ORADBX utility.
    (b) Obtain complete ALERT.log to establish history of events leading to hang.
    (c) In the case of a hang on database open:
    (i) Set events to determine which stage of recovery is stuck.
    (ii) Dumps of the controlfile, datafile headers, logfile headers, buffers, enqueues and latches.
    (iii) Situation-specific dumps of archive/online logfiles.
    (d) In the case of a system hang, take multiple systemstate dumps at
    intervals.
    (e) Monitor CPU and I/O activity during the hang using o/s utilities.
    (f) Obtain a reproducible test case or dial-in information for development.
    4. PERFORMANCE PROBLEMS
    4.1 Description of Category
    This category comprises (i) General cases of deteriorations in response time
    or batch completion times (ii) performance degradtion on increase in concurrent activity.
    4.2 Example
    System hangs if more than 96 concurrent users.
    4.3 Typical Diagnostic Actions:
    (a) Document performance degradation in terms of specific indicators (response
    time, batch completion time, number of concurrent logins supported,
    efficiency of shared pool management).
    (b) Provide a reproducible test case where possible, or document in detail
    the environment and factors leading to poor performance (for example,
    in the cases where reproducibility depends on concurrency in a production
    environment, document circumstances surrounding degradation like #logins,
    average memory usage, typical functionality invoked, IO activity,
    dynamic statistics on Oracle activity.)
    (c) Where appropriate, determine if generic or port-specific issue.
    (d) If not reproducible in-house, but reproducible with reasonable
    frequency on customer site provide dial-in information for development.
    5. SYSTEM CRASHES
    5.1 Description of Category
    This includes all cases where the database crashes, possibly due to
    one of the background processes dying.
    5.2 Example:
    DBWR crashes periodically during heavy activity
    5.3 Typical Diagnostic Actions:
    (a) Request trace files, ALERT.log and information on circumstances
    surrounding the crash.
    (b) Construct reproducible test case where possible.
    (c) Where relevant, determine if generic or port-specific issue.
    6. CRITICAL FUNCTIONALITY NOT AVAILABLE
    6.1 Description of Category
    This refers to all situations where functionality or vital features relied
    on by a production application becomes unavailable, typically because
    of a bug in the feature. This includes cases where Oracle utilities core dump,
    applications error out due to bugs and recovery is stuck.
    6.2 Example:
    ORA-600[3020] during media recovery application of archive log
    6.3 Typical Diagnostic Actions:
    (a) Where an error is reported, get any trace files produced and relevant
    redo log dumps if necessary. Document completely the circumstances
    leading up to the error.
    (b) Provide a reproducible test case or dial-in information to development.
    (d) Where relevant, determine if generic or port-specific issue.
    7. MEMORY CORRUPTIONS
    7.1 Description of Category
    This includes internal errors signalling memory leaks, corruptions of memory
    data strutures and cache corruptions.
    7.2 Example:
    ORA-600[17271][INSTANTION SPACE LEAK] during pl/sql execution
    7.3 Typical Diagnostic Actions:
    (a) Request trace files when error causes a trace file to be produced.
    (b) Provide reproducible test case where possible; else document circumstances
    of error including (i) Details of OCI or Oracle tool, utility or pre-compiler
    used in application (ii) OS tools or third-party tools used in conjunction
    with the application (iii) Triggers fired by application
    (iv) Packages or procedures executed.

    It is most likely the panel, since your machine has integrated graphics. If you haven't done this kind of repair, replacing the panel out of the lid can be difficult. It can be done if you are careful. Here is the manual:
    http://download.lenovo.com/ibmdl/pub/pc/pccbbs/mobiles_pdf/e520_e525_hmm_en_0a60536_05.pdf
    If you want to replace the entire lid assembly, it might be easier. I actually have one from an E520 in stock. (It looks like it has a built-in webcam.) Since I don't work on many of this model, I can give you a good price. Send me a pm if interested.

  • R12.2.0 online patching coding standard on diagnostic scripts

    Violations are reported on following diagnostic scripts files.
    1)@ File: SOURCE/ap/java/diag/APListXml.xml :
    2)@ File: SOURCE/java/oracle/apps/ap/diag/APAccntingHealthCheck.java
    These files are
    - Data collection script to collect data and diagnose data for customer problem.
    - Few queries are based on tables in obsoleted schema(AX) to retrieve historic financial data. Such tables does not have apps synonym. (https://kix.oraclecorp.com/KIX/display.php?labelId=3703&articleId=288495)
    - Scripts are not executed by ADPatch and not possible to derive the schema name at run time
    - These diagnostics are executed only on development request for diagnosing the issue and customer may not need to run when patch edition is open.
     Hence we would request waiver on the above files.
