how much HD space is needed to insatall BI 7.

This totally depends on how many BI contenets you install ...i.e. for which area...?
But what I feel is this requires very small amount of space with respect to the data space on server.
This will be in the range of 9 to 10 Mb

Hi,
Can we populate the IB Installation Details screen (IB Transaction) details automatically, while creating an order through order import?
My requirement is to create an IB Transaction automatically i.e populate CSI_T_TXN_LINE_DETAILS while importing the order.
I got below records in oe_lines_iface_all

However, these do not seem to be creating IB transactions.

IMPORT OF INSTALLATION DETAILS USING API
We have got orders in the existing 11.5.10 system now we want to import the systems from our legacy system and link them to the orders. I know we can create the systems using CSI_SYSTEM_PUB but how do we link them to order lines so that they are visable in order line installation details. Is there a api to do this? Please help.

There is no public API but a group API is available. Assuming that you have already created transaction lines (using CSI_T_TXN_DETAILS_GRP) you can use CSI_T_TXN_SYSTEMS_GRP to assign systems. So first you create transaction lines and then systems.

Installation Details from Charges tab in Service Request
Hi,
I have a question about filling out the installation details in the Charges tab of the service request form. While doing RMA I know that we can provide the return item instance details in the charges tab. But the question is if the returned item is a sub component I need to provide the Parent Instance details also. Where do I enter that on the charges tab? Is there a way to enter the parent instance information or not?
Can you please suggest alternate solutions if any?

X-Fi Xtreme Gamer on Windows 7: Installation details
? On X-Fi Xtreme gamer support page there is officially only driver for W7.
What about Alchemy, Console Launcher etc? Is it the same as W Vista?
When I run Creative Software AutoUpdate it says "Critical" for several versions of Console Launcher. The most newer one is the smallest one in MBs. So what should I install. All versions, or just the last one?

Edit: Creative made this really confusing. First of all,? there is no THX console when I download and install driver from web. So, I need to insert Creative disc with old drivers, start the installation and choose only THX to install. It's really annoying. Why don't they implement thx in console installation, or driver installation? Second thing is about AutoUpdate. It says that I need to install all Console Launchers, but in fact every newer version doesn't update the old one, but removes it.I have major problems with my Xfi in Win 7 64 right now as well. The Console works fine from Vista if you want to download that. Creative is being very lazy about updating there drivers at this point as you can see from all the upset posts in the Win 7 forums. Just hang tight like the rest of us :*(

BalaYou are correct. Dir 5.2 is not certified for AIX 5.2. It does install though. Like a previous reponse stated. Check the permissions for the user you are installing with and the file system you are installing to. Make certain you have enough disk space. My install took 150 MB of disk space. Finally, Dir 5.2 creates the file "/var/adm/sw/productregistry" during install. If you do not have permissions to /var/adm/sw, you may have troubles.

I now that this subject is discussed many times before, but after trying a lot of the solutions of the forum and some of my one, I have reached a level that it makes no sense...
First off all I would like to explain that what i do for a living it has to do with IT and that is what it makes it even more tempting to me.
2 days ago a bought a A200-23W Toshiba. The first thing i always do when i buy a new laptop is to format it and install a clean Windows OS.
I realized after my first attempt that I have to install first of all the Matrix Storage Driver.
I have downloaded the driver from toshiba site related to my model. (Intel Matrix Storage Manager-7.5.0.1017).
I have created a usb with the required files for the driver :
iaAhci.inf,
iaAhci.cat,
iaStor.inf, iaStor.cat,
iaStor.sys, and
TxtSetup.oem
from the (F6flpy) folder of the (Intel Matrix Storage Manager) copying them to the root of the USB.
When the "Where you want to Install windows" form at windows vista appear i select load driver, and then by Clicking (Browse), I select the USB as a source for my drivers.
The (Intel(R) 82801HEM/HBM SATA AHCI Controller) automatically appears as a selection and by clicking (Next) the process of driver installation starts.
So far so good..
Now is where the things are getting complicated..
When Vista return to the "Where you want to Install windows" form, even that my system has 2 x 200 GG HDD only one 200 GB HDD appears in the list..
Selections of "New" Partition or "Delete" Partition are disabled.
and even when i click "Next" to the selected HD a windows message appears :
"Windows could not determine if this computer contains a valid system volume"
I would appreciate your help..

Oracle Enterprise Manager Agent deployment (Installation and Configuration) Error
Hello,
I am trying to create an agent on a linux server using Oracle Enterprise Manager 12.1.0.3. The user is created with root privilege on the server, by change /etc/sudoers entry username the same as the root entry. After that I tried to add host target by clicking Setup->Add Target->Add target Manually->Add Host Targets in the Oracle Enterprise Manager.
In the Add Target view: I clicked on add, then I entry host and platform information. After that I click next. Then I provided the Linux x86-64 : Installation Details for
Installation Base Directory, Instance Directory, Name Credential ... then click next. then click Deploy Agent.
In the Add Host Status view: stages Initialization and Remote Prerequisite Check successfully passed, but in the stage Agent Deployment, it failed in the Installation and Configuration phrase of the Agent Deployment stage.
The log content is shown below. There are numerous SEVERE Errors. But I don't have much experience in dealing with these type of problems. I thank you in advance for all the helps.

1. we modified /etc/exports to include this line: /export *(rw,no_root_squash,sync)
we start nfs service by executing command “service nfs start”.
On Management Agent server (nsn175-89), we verified that we are able to mount /export directory of EM server.
On Management Agent server, we started firefox browser and were able to run successfully https://nsn175-105.us.oracle.com:4904/empbs/genwallet
After making this change, we ran agent deployment again. We encountered the same error as shown above.

For fixing the software library, select Setup->Provision and Patching->Offline Patching, then select Offline Patching radio button, download: https://updates.oracle.com/download/em_catalog.zip. Next upload this zip file.

We are not sure what agent bits are. Would you please explain this and provide procedure how we can download this?

According to log file, I find the message ‘The setup100.exe.config file was not found, therefore the DTSWizard and SQLWatson app config files were not replaced’. It seems that the SQL Server setup file is not complete. Please check that if the SQL Server
setup file is corrupted, if it is corrupted, please download it again and reinstall SQL Server 2008 R2.
However, if there’s no problem with the setup file, please check that if there is third-party software such as anti-virus software on your computer blocking the process of SQL Server installation. In addition, make sure that you choose ‘Run as administrator’
to launch the setup and configure SQL Server service accounts appropriately with administrator permission during the installation.

MiniSAP 46D Installation Error

I have already this error but i cant get a reply.
Please help me to overcome this error.
I bought ABAP objects book for miniSAP. I installed it sucessfully first time. But while i am repeating the same procedure for the second time two weeeks later i get an error at 88%. I once again post the error log which i get during the installation.

The "Remote Registry Service" must be running when you install the Mini SAP Basis under Windows 2000.
Check whether the service has started (Control Panel -> Services).
If it has not, start it and restart the terminated installation by choosing Resume Installation.
Note: This also applies to Windows XP, just the system paths may be different.
