  • SEM-BPS code

    Dear Friends,
    Req: Varaible gets current or entered month value and the value of variable will be summed up till 012th month. It should not go > 12.  Eg: Assum the entered value = 007 and the calculation goes 008, 009, 010, 011 & 012.
    In order to fullfill the customer req. Iwe need to apply the below logic.  We have done this code in SEM-BPS planning function.
    DATA PER TYPE 0FISCPER3.
    DATA FPER TYPE 0FISCPER3.
    PER = VARV (YFROMPER).
    DO.
    FPER = PER + 001.
    if PER > 001 AND PER <= 12.
    YDPT_PRKG, PER} = {YDPT_PRKG, FPER}.
    Else.
    Exit.
    Endif.
    ENDDO.
    But, this above code is not work as expected and it's executing infinite...Please look into the code and correct me if any syntex or logic issue.
    Thanks in Advance for kind support.
    Best Regards,
    KS

    Hey KS,
    I'm assuming you've solved this already but if not . . .
    Looking at the code below, you see to only hit the ELSE condition and hence exit if PER is not between 1 - 12.  Yet you only increment FPER so PER never changes and this loop will run forever.
    Might also want to increment the total:
    {YDPT_PRKG, PER} = {YDPT_PRKG, PER} + {YDPT_PRKG, FPER}.
    Hope this helps.
    Regards,
    Dan

  • How to make a plane semi-transparent

    Hi everyone. I am new here, and would like to thank you in advance.
    I am trying to make a semi-transparent plane using 3D with QuadArray. Have set TransparencyAttributes accordingly; and have even tried TextureAttributes. It just doesn't cut it.
    Without setting transparency, the plane is visible both sides. But once transparency set, it becomes invisible.
    Can anyone give me some ideas? Thanks!
    Here's the code snippet dealing with this plane:
    Appearance ap = new Appearance();
    TransparencyAttributes transparency = new
    TransparencyAttributes(TransparencyAttributes.NICEST, 0.5f);
    ap.setTransparencyAttributes(transparency);
    PolygonAttributes cullAttribute = new PolygonAttributes();
    cullAttribute.setCullFace(PolygonAttributes.CULL_NONE);
    ap.setPolygonAttributes(cullAttribute);
    TextureAttributes texture = new TextureAttributes();
    texture.setTextureMode(TextureAttributes.BLEND);
    ap.setTextureAttributes(texture);
    Point3f points[] = new Point3f[4];
    points[0] = new Point3f(-0.2f, 0.2f, 1.0f);
    points[1] = new Point3f(0.2f, 0.2f, 1.0f);
    points[2] = new Point3f(0.2f, -0.2f, 1.0f);
    points[3] = new Point3f(-0.2f, -0.2f, 1.0f);
    QuadArray planeVertices = new QuadArray(4, QuadArray.COORDINATES|QuadArray.COLOR_3);
    planeVertices.setCoordinates(0, points);
    Color3f colors[ ] = new Color3f[4];
    for(int i = 0; i < colors.length; i++){
    colors[i] = new Color3f(1.0f, 1.0f, 0.0f);
    planeVertices.setColors(0, colors);
    Shape3D plane = new Shape3D( );
    plane.setGeometry(planeVertices);
    plane.setAppearance(ap);
    ********************

    I just found that if I leave the colors undefined for the plane (a Shape3D); that is, remove the QuadArray.COLOR_3 flag, then the transparency works. Unfortunately, in that case, I can only have a white plane, and there's still no way for me to add color to the plane with its transparency maintained.
    The right way seems to be using QuadArray.COLOR_4 flag instead. But somehow I can't get it to work. That is, no matter what value I am using for the Alpha value, the plane just remains opaque.
    Can anyone give me some suggestions? Thanks a lot!

  • CO-period lock for planning on company code level

    Hello,
    I would like to ask you for assistence.
    We would like to have the possiblity to lock the CO-periods on company code levels. For actual values, it is possible to arrange this within the validation. However, for plan values the validation is not active.
    I have read about possibility to enhance an user exit for paritcular planning transactions (KP06, KP26 etc.), but I can't find it anymore.
    Does anybody from you have experience with this, eventually is there another option?
    Thanks in advance
    Peter

    I have had a similiar problem and contact to remote consulting from SAP. They offered a modification (10-15 days if I remember correctly) to make CO period lock company code depending.
    If I remember correctly, his name was Valentin (in Germany).
    However: if newGL is active with real-time integration and also plan transfer, I think it should be possible to lock in FI.
    regards

  • 1 Family Plan, 2 Area Codes

    Question:
    Any advice or idea on how to get different area codes ported into one family plan?
    Scenario:
    Two people want to join one family account (iPhones, AT&T) and port their existing numbers over. She has an ABC area code number and he has an XYZ area code number. Now, they both live in the OMG area code, but want to keep their numbers (strange, I know!). The family account is created and activated successfully. The ABC area code number is ported and the new billing and residence address is in the OMG area code.
    Problem:
    The XYZ number cannot join the Family plan, because AT&T's billing system requires that all numbers on one family plan are in the same market (=general metropolitan area). According to 6 out of 10 AT&T Wireless representatives, the aforementioned Family plan can now only accommodate area codes within the vicinity of ABC, regardless of the plan's registration in the OMG area code, which is actually located adjacent to the XYZ area code.
    Thoughts:
    This market billing problem seems to be particular to the one service provider chosen by Apple for the iPhone. Apparently, the scenario described above already overcame a similar, but lesser problem outlined at ( http://www.appleinsider.com/articles/07/06/30/howto_port_ineligible_mobile_numbers_to_att_andiphone.html ).
    Is this really so unlikely to happen that it is not worth to change AT&T's policy and/or processing systems? Is it worth it to pay more per minute on two individual accounts for a phone that is already almost as common as a RAZR? Is it worth it to lose a long-held mobile number for a phone whose price may soon drop again, from a company that is about as faithful to its existing customers as Paris Hilton?
    While its features may have been enough to prompt the iPhones' purchase, account inconvenience may quickly prompt a return, unless there is a way to have multiple area codes on one family plan.

    I think it depends if OMG, XYZ and ABC are all the same market. My husband and I share a family plan but I'm ABC area code and he's XYZ but both our area codes fall in the XYZ market. We actually live in OMG area code now and had to go back to XYZ in order to merge our plans into a family plan.

  • Planned Order T-code

    Dear Expert,
    Please confirm me what is the t-code for viewing overall planned order apart fro MD04 T-code.
    Regards,
    Phalgun Patel

    Hi,
    You can use MD05 if you want to see the planned order after MRP run or you can use MD16 t-code. Also, go to PLAF table and look for planned orders based on your criteria.

    Hi,
      If you are comfortable using function modules then you will not have any difficulty in using the BAPI, only thing we need to take care of the following, refer the following this is not using the bapi for Inspection plan, this is done for different purpose, still you can refer this and use accordingly,

  • Forward plans with unmaintainable code.

    Has anyone inherited a Java project that did not meet any or extremely few maintainability standards... If so, how did you move forward?
    (1) Brought the project up to maintainable standards
    (2) Rewrote the project
    (3) Attempted to maintain the project as is.

    Once I got a project to clean up some horrible code before handing it off to another team who was going to replace whole sections of it.
    I told my boss that it was pointless, because the horrible part was exactly what was being replaced. So (with his approval) I did nothing other than sending the code to the other team with some notes pointing out what's horrible about it and how they shouldn't do things the same way. They (presumably) ripped out the garbage and did the right thing.
    Generally speaking, however, I find that there's never time to completely fix anything, and managers are resistant to refactoring anything, no matter how much they jump up and down yelling "agile". I think they confuse Agile methods with the jumping up and down part. So you end up refactoring things on a piecemeal basis. I also suggest that when you have to add new stuff to the project, try to avoid doing the quickest fix, because that just makes things worse. The "do the simplest thing that can possibly work" philosophy is only a good idea if you also adopt the aggressive refactoring philosophy as well, and sadly the latter is generally sacrificed.
    So despite all the exhortations from managers to be agile, what actually happens is that refactoring, incremental design, test-driven design, etc., are never practiced under those managers, but instead are practiced by the developers in their own time in non-work projects. The developers are criticized for not being agile enough, but they're actually discouraged from being as agile as they'd like. There's something really dysfunctional about all this.
    Well, I could complain all day.

  • Load plan execution return code

    We want to call the LoadPlan via external scheduler.
    The call looks like this:
    ./startloadplan.sh <MYLOADPLAN> GLOBAL "-AGENT_URL=<MYAGENT>"
    The odiagent.log shows me that the loadplan failed. But the Shell Script Return value seems to be always 0.
    Is there a way to create a wrapper script for checking whether the loadplan is actually failed.
    Can anyone please reply

    You should probably follow the topic just below this one : ./startloadplan.sh return code always 0 ;)
    Stefan S has maybe developed his own solution.

  • Mobile Website Development for Semi-Non-Coder

    Greetings! I was going through a tutorial on Lynda.com on how to build mobile Apps and the author; Joseph Lowery demonstrated where to set up a mobile website as part of the instructions. : File/New/Mobile Starters/ jQuery Mobile (CDN). So I thought I would try it. I have an old mobile website on a client's website that could stand for some righteous improvement over my hack CSS job I did a few years ago.
    Anyway, if I understand correctly, the navigation basically acts like page links that link to anchor tags accept they're not anchor tags; is that correct?
    That would mean that the entire website would be on a single index page correct (something tells me not, though)?
    If not, if it can have multiple pages, how do you link them. I tried to add simple links to other pages but no luck. Then I tried putting anchor tags, no luck. I'm sure this is just noobs luck but thought I'd ask the geniouses. What I really need is a turial on building mobile sites I guess.

    Hi
    This tutorial should help you get started and explain the difference between the two methods of creating a site - http://www.adobe.com/devnet/dreamweaver/articles/getting-started-with-jquery-mobile.html

    After upgrading our BI-system from SEM 4.0 to SEM 6.0 (level 10) as part of the upgrade from BW 3.5 to BI 7.0 (level 15), the BPS function types for balance sheet planning are not available in the planning environment (Transaction code BPS0).
    According to the SAP Library the balance sheet planning functions in SEM-BPS comprises of 6 standard function types - one of them is "Depreciation":
    <a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_sem60/helpdata/en/0a/242537cedf2056e10000009b38f936/frameset.htm">help.sap.com -> Business Planning and Simulation (BW-BPS)</a>
    Menu path: Business Planning Functions -> Functions for Balance Sheet Planning
    In our existing SEM 4.0 we are using "Depreciation" and the functions based on this function type are of course short dumping when executed in our upgraded system (SEM 6.0) as the function type does not exist here.
    Odd though - we do have the function type "Allocation" available in SEM 6.0, which should be delivered with SEM together with the Balance Sheet Planning function types (It is listed directly under "Business Planning Functions" in the SAP Library) .
    I have tried to figure out whether we missed out on activating something during or after the system installation, but our basis consultant has not found anything in the installation guides related to this issue. Also I was wondering whether it could be a simple matter of activating some Business Content but without any luck.
    Does anybody know why the Balance Sheet Function Types are not available in SEM-BPS 6.0?
    Kind regards,
    Lars
