BI Process Chain - Error DTP

Hi Friends
I have a Question regarding executing error DTP.
We are going live next month. In a metachain we are loading 3 master data process chains and one transaction data process chain and the meta chain is a daily load.
There are duplicate records in the error stack which ended the process chain with errors and also failed the next day load as the duplicate records in the error stack were not fixed. And its a daily master data load triggered in one of the process chain.
I had fixed the records in error stack and enabled handle duplicate records setting in error DTP and tried to save it.
It prompted a message
     "Note, for time-dependent data the source field
      containing DATETO information must not be selected
      in the semantic DTP key."
[do i need to change the handle duplicate record setting for the main DTP also?] I need to execute this error DTP and it should execute the remaining pending/cancelled processes in that process chain.
It should not trigger further loads of the process chains following this process chain even if I manually execute the error DTP. Because the following process chains were successful as there were no dependencies between the process chains.
even though i guess sometimes it happens that it triggers further loads in the process chains for some reason which are not dependent.

Hi,
This is an information message. Go ahead and enable the duplicate key handling flag and then execute the error DTP.
That should load the data successfully.

Process chains:Errors Occured..

i have selected my info objects 0CRM_PROD in rsa1 and i entered CALL MONITOR FOR BI OBJECT and then i got a monitor screen in that succesfull(42) it says...in that i have selected 0PRODUCT > TODAY DATE>
I FOUND THAT CR1 LIENT 100
02:04:56 (4 From 4 Records)i entered twise on this and i got HEADER STATUS DETAILS tabs...
in above DETAILS tab
we got a red colour in

MD : Business partner & Product

1) Invalid characters while loading: When you are loading data then you may get some special characters like @#$%...e.t.c.then BW will throw an error like Invalid characters then you need to go through this RSKC transaction and enter all the Invalid chars and execute. It will store this data in RSALLOWEDCHAR table. Then reload the data. You won't get any error because now these are eligible chars done by RSKC.
2) IDOC Or TRFC Error: We can see the following error at u201CStatusu201D Screen:Sending packages from OLTP to BW lead to errorsDiagnosisNo IDocs could be sent to the SAP BW using RFC.System responseThere are IDocs in the source system ALE outbox that did not arrive in the ALE inbox of the SAP BW.Further analysis:Check the TRFC log.You can get to this log using the wizard or the menu path "Environment -> Transact. RFC -> In source system".Removing errors:If the TRFC is incorrect, check whether the source system is completely connected to the SAP BW. Check especially the authorizations of the background user in the source system.Action to be taken:If Source System connection is OK Reload the Data.

-> Rollup not possible, no filled aggregates available
-> Error when starting the extraction program
-> The process step locked by another changerun
-> Info objet does not contain alpha confirming values
-> Errors due to non activated objects
-> Errors due to duplicate records
-> Errors due to locking
-> Problems because of connection problem between source and bw systems

" This error normally occurs whenever BW encounters error and is not able to classify them. There could be multiple reasons for the same
1) Whenever we are loading the Master Data for the first time, it creates SIDs. If system is unable to create SIDs for the records in the Data packet, we can get this error message.
2) If the Indexes of the cube are not deleted, then it may happen that the system may give the caller 70 error.
3)Whenever we are trying to load the Transactional data which has master data as one of the Characteristics and the value does not exist in Master Data table we get this error. System can have difficultly in creating SIDs for the Master Data and also load the transactional data.
4) If ODS activation is taking place and at the same time there is another ODS activation running parallel then in that case it may happen that the system may classify the error as caller 70. As there were no processes free for that ODS Activation.
5) It also occurs whenever there is a Read/Write occurring in the Active Data Table of ODS. For example if activation is happening for an ODS and at the same time the data loading is also taking place to the same ODS, then system may classify the error as caller 70.
6) It is a system error which can be seen under
the Status tab in the Job Over View.
solution:
" If the Master Data is getting loaded for the first time then in that case we can reduce the Data Package size and load the Info Package. Processing sometimes is based on the size of Data Package. Hence we can reduce the data package size and then reload the data again. We can also try to split the data load into different data loads
If the error occurs in the cube load then we can try to delete the indexes of the cube and then reload the data again.
If we are trying to load the Transactional and Master Data together and this error occurs then we can reduce the size of the Data Package and try reloading, as system may be finding it difficult to create SIDs and load data at the same time. Or we can load the Master Data first and then load Tranactional Data
If the error is happening while ODS activation cause of no processes free, or available for processing the ODS activation, then we can define processes in the T Code RSCUSTA2.
If error is occurring due to Read/Write in ODS then we need to make changes in the schedule time of the data loading.
Once we are sure that the data has not been extracted completely, we can then go ahead and delete the red request from the manage tab in the InfoProvider. Re-trigger the InfoPackage again.
Monitor the load for successful completion, and complete the further loads if any in the Process Chain.
6.Idoc not processed completely.
Here the request remains yellow (in process) and with the same details (as seen in the details tab of the monitor) for an abnormally long time. Many-a-times, the port for communication is not open and re-starting the load helps. For long running jobs, it may not be advisable to restart the extraction
Contact the BASIS administrator to push the IDOC.

Error in Process Chain for DTP- Job not finished

Hi Experts,
We have an issue with one of our process chains. When we execute the chain manually, there is no problem. BUt if we schedule the chain, issues arise. the last part of the chain is DTP. But the job doesnt finished even if the DTP step si already green. Locks occur for the DTP and the infoobject. When we look at the job log in SM37, it is still active. But this should not take a long time, since if we execute it manually it is ok.
Pleas help experts

The question is, why the program RSBATCH_EXECUTE_PROZESS is not scheduled. Is it because there is no free resource? Or poor response from SAP ECC?
Finally what does "EXTRACTION OF DATAPACKAGE 000001" mean? Its not scheduled?

Urgent help regarding process chain error

hi experts ,,
one of the process chain is not running properly for last 5 days ....
now current status of process chain is red ...and msg is last delta isrunning/has errors ..couldnt process request
msg of yester days chain ........
Errors have been reported in Business Information Warehouse during IDoc update:
Could not find code page for receiving system
error msg in bd87 (with idoc status 02 )
tried to process idoc manually but it didnt happen ...throughing same error....
one more thing here is same process chain status on 16th is in yellow status .....
its in yellow status at dtp load step ....on right click on dtp_load variant --->in batch montior --->job overview
dtp_laod job was is ready status ....
i thought this status effecting others so tried to schedule the job couldnt ....
so deleted job in confession....
now and process which is bfr dtp_load is in yellow and whole chain is in yellow ....
what shall i do now ??how to correct this ??
shall run dtp manually and dso activation manually ???and shall i make process into green status ???
or shall retrive deleted job wit basis ppl help???
please help me...
whoever helps me to fix this issue will rewarded wit full points and i will be greatful to them ...

Yes, as rightly said you need to run the previous delta before updating new records in the latest request. If possible de-schedule the chains for a while, delete the old deltas (assuming you are using flexible updates?) and try to repeat the loads manually & proceed to activate & schedule once the delta has finished processing. If you still think this is an issue related to idocs processing, you can do the re-processing, provided they do not create fresh batch of idocs in the source system. You can re-process the idocs both inbound & out bound using reports like RBDAGAIN (But again, use extreme caution on these!). Process Chain error during info package execution

I'm trying to load master data into 0CURTYPE using process chain.
I have created a start process and included the info package and corresponding DTP in the chain to load master data into the info object.
On scheduling the process chain I get an error during the execution of the info package
"Could not find code page for receiving system
For the logical destination Q4900CL010, you want to determine the code page in which the data is sent with RFC. However, this is not currently possibe, and the IDoc cannot yet be dispatched."
Is it relatred to some setting whihc I have missed out?
Any help on this please?

Hi, this is a issue related to idocs in the source....
U can contact ur BASIS team to solve this...
From their end they have to chk the unprocessed/errored idocs in BD87...
this issue belongs to source...
They have to run a report:RBDAGAIN to process the errore idoc's in the source which are in STATUS:'02'.
This is a solution for temporarilrly basis...
if this occurs regularly they have to change the settings in SM59..

Process chain error at infopackage

Im trying to load the data from flat file into DataStoreObject by uisng process chian in BW-2004s.
I build the process chain like below
start -> InfoPackage -> DTP -> Activation Of ODS data.
Im gettin error at the Infopackage level and it becomes red. I already loaded data into the datasource/psa in BW-2004s.
So how can i look for the error details at infopackage process level.

just right click on the process which got fail means red in color, and details ... >details ....there must be given you some errors find out ...you can find the solution ...or else you can just let me know that error i may solve that .. all the best.

Process chain Error: This AND process is not waiting for event RSPROCESS

Hi All,
I am facing an error in the process chain in PRD.
Error message: This AND process is not waiting for event RSPROCESS.
We had a process chain which had two sub chains which run parallel and below of this we had AND process type and below of the AND process we had 4 more jobs.
Once the two subchains got successfully loaded, the and process should turn to green and further 4 jobs should start.
It is a daily load , it worked fine from past years,but suddenly the AND processtype is getting failed.The thing is in the two subchains if one got completed, the AND process process is not waiting for 2nd subchain to get completed.The AND process is turning to RED (status: cancelled) . I tried to repeat the AND process once after above 2 subchains loaded, but it didnt worked.
And i removed the existing AND process and created a new one and placed it in same place and activated and schedules again.but still it is getting failed with same error.

If you did any transports related to that metachain we face similar kind of issues.
not only the AND process , we need to remove all the process before executing the AND process and create it again.
It helps you, you said your in production So you should take the proper approvals and do it.

Process Chain error while creating index on cube

Hi All,
I have two process chain P1 daily(except sunday) and P2 weekly(sunday), both have same process, i.e. cube C1 is loaded with same infopackage in both infopackage.
Now, on saturday after laoding the content index creating process on cube c1 is failed by process chain P1, but on sunday P2 have laoded C1 correctly and created indexes.
Now, my doubt is wheather i repeat process chain P1 from creating indexes or there is no need as indexes on cube are created by PC 2.

Hi Raj,
There is no need of running the process chain P1, the data has been bought by the process chain P2.
If there are any filters/data selection in infopackage level then you need to run the process chain P1.
Be make sure about the process chains and there infopackages/dtp's.

Process Chain Error while activating DSO

Hello.
1st, let me say that I'm pretty new to BI so I apologize for the stupid question :-S
I have a process chain (Warehouse Mangement) that failed this morning at the DSO data activation step. It's simply because some entries have lowercase value in a field that should not. I know how easy this is to fix in the transformation but my problem is more on how to fix the actual fail of the process chain. Can I edit the "non-activated" data in the DSO (only 2-3 records that I need to put in uppercase) and "repair" my process chain or should I proceed another way?

Hi John.
If guess your Process Chain process ended in "Red color". Once you fix the error you can try to make "right-click" on the process with error and select "Repair". If this operation is "supported" by the activation process you won't have error.
But I really believe that you'll have to erase the request and launch the complete process (o set of related processes) once again. It's possible that the data you want its already in the NEW-DATA table of your ODS.
This tables is the following. /BIC/A<your ods tech-name>40

load data but when the process comes to this program the job is getting cancelled and log shows below msg

Hi.........
Remove your process chain from scheduling using the option procesc chain --> Remove from schedule. Then check & activate the process chain. Save the process chain. Check & activate again and then schedule the process chain.
Not 100% sure of the cause. When we faced a similar issue, we tried to analyse the cause and found that this kind of error occurs when the process chain is descheduled by deleting the released background job & scheduled again.... and this is because some of the old jobs for some of the steps are not deleted & the links between the steps wait for the old jobs or events.
I would say it is always better to deschedule a chain using the 'Remove chain from schedule' option than deleting the background job.
