BI Reports - Pre-requisite information details

Hi,
The questions below are with respect to BI reports in Role based scenario in ERP 2005 - Supplier
It would be really helpful if any of you can provide me minimum pre-requisite information that needs to be created or maintained in backend, for the successfull execution of the BI Reports :
Query Description Sales Value per Contract (for Supplier)
Query Technical Name 0SR_MC01_SUS_Q0002
Query Description Sales Values per Service Provider (for Supplier)
Query Technical Name 0SR_MC01_SUS_Q0003
Query Description Comparison of Total Scores (SUS)
Query Technical Name 0SR_VE_C1_SUS_Q002
Query Description Valuation of Criteria (SUS)
Query Technical Name 0SR_VE_C1_SUS_Q001
Query Description Valuation of Criteria (SUS)
Query Technical Name 0SR_VE_C1_SUS_Q001
Query Description Valuation of Criteria (with Result / SUS)
Query Technical Name 0SR_VE_C1_SUS_Q009
Query Description SUS: Evaluation Data on Document Level
Query Technical Name 0SR_VE_SUS_Q001
Query Description SUS: Evaluation of Service Providers
Query Technical Name 0SR_VE_C1_SUS_Q005
PLEASE NOTE - Above mentioned are technical queries, but I need some pre-requisite information to see 'Some data' when data is extracted using queries mentioned above
Eg - To see Material data analysis - before giving query name, I do create Purchase order > Goods Receipt(partially).
Later BW consultant would extract the information, which is created in backend and then I should see only these PO's which have some open orders.
Similarly for above reports, I am in need of pre-requisite information that needs to be maintained in backend
Kindly suggest a solution
Regards
STP

Hi,
Thanks for the reply.
If am right, you are suggesting for the report - SALES VALUE With/Without contracts.
Well, as report header suggests - Sales Value with contracts and sales value without contracts.
Basically I login to SUpplier portal with 'x' user id, same user ID(vendor) is been used to create contracts etc in backend
1:But question is - sales value till when ? and how about other reports
2:Who is Service provider in this context, what is grouping, questionnaire status ?
Kindly address these questions too
Thanks
STP

  • AutoCreate Final Assembly Orders - Pre-requisite setup details needed

    Hi ,
I am a technical person and bit new to  WIP module but to my understanding when AutoCreate Final Assembly Orders program runs, it creates a WO and also Requisition.
I was doing few test and found that for some sales order it is creating WO but not requisition i.e. I don't see Requisition Import being called by AutoCreate Final Assembly Orders program.
Can you please provide me what is the setup or pre-requisite for the AutoCreate Final Assembly Orders program to generate Requisition?
    Thanks,
    SM

    [SOLVED]
There seems to be an issue with partitioning a swap partition as "swap" (wtf?) when using dm-crypt/Swap encryption.  This is odd to me since reportedly systemd processes crypttab before fstab, but maybe it looks at the drives first before looking at either table file and then assumes all swaps are not encrypted and just mounts the standard unencrypted swap essentially reserving the partition so that dm-crypt can't access it - would be nice if systemd didn't do that, maybe not logically possible?  Or, time for a new partition type, encrypted-swap?  Anyway, I digress and notice that now my encrypted swap works as expected but still shows a partition type of "unknown"which feels like a hack.
    So the solution:
    sudo cryptsetup luksDump /dev/sdaX
Then follow the steps from the "dm-crypt/Swap encryption" wiki.  Aside from long term solutions maybe this could be added to that wiki article?
    thanks!
    b1k
Had more time to play with this.  The "cryptsetup" command isn't necissary.  While this effectively "fixed" my swap partition that was partitioned as a "swap" partition - all that one needs to do is partition their swap as anything BUT swap.  So maybe a quick blurb mentioning that in the "dm-crypt/Swap encryption" wiki article will save another noob a couple hours.  It is sorta mentioned in the "Swap (Activation by systemd)" wiki article but it's hard to understand what the author was trying to convey (after re-reading I'm still not sure what problem the author is solving exactly).

  • Reporting Financials - Pre requisites

    Hi Experts!
I was looking at 'SAP Help' for Reporting Financials (EhP3).
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04s/helpdata/EN/30/44593167d447198995bed770d70ddf/frameset.htm
It says that for using these (0FI_GL_40....) new data sources the pre requisites are:
    1. SAP Enhancement Package 3 for SAP ERP 6.0 in all source systems
    2. Activated the Reporting Financials business function
I am clear about point number 1. But I am not sure about point 2 (what it refers to).. Any Ideas?
    With Best Regards
    S Murugan

    Hi Oscar,
Thanks for the update. I want to see whether this feature has been activated in a particular client before talking to their FI team.  I am looking for step by step information to see whether this has been actiavted in the client environment.
Pls see if u can provide more information.

  • Pre-requisites for running report for P45 RPCP45GN

    Hi,
We would like to know that are there pre-requisites steps that are now required to run RPCP45GN program and if so what are they?
    Regards
    Nimmi

    Hi,
The following are Pre-requisites for RPCP45GN in new year legal changes:
1> The starter report RPUEFO_STARTER should be run before running the    leaver report RPCP45GN.
2> Last payroll should be run for that perner.
3> The actions must performed e.g. leaver, payroll area changed, etc.
4> Infotype 65 should be correct maintained.
5> Address infotype 6 should be maintained for the perner.
Hope this could solve your problem.

  • HFM Entity detail report - aggregated journal information for parent entity

    Hi,
Anyone know if it's possible to view all the journal details that contribute to a parent entity? The entity detail report shows only journal details for the selected entity and I would like to see all journal ID's that contribute to a selected parent entity. Tried also with journal reports, but it's not possible to utilize the entity hierarchies in this way.
    Thanks!

In addition to my confusing baffle above would the below solution work?
If I setup an entity group total "G"- 100% ownership
Under this total I have the main trading company "A" - 51% owned by our group
then also under this "G" total another group "I" which will consolidate the 3 investment companies 100% owned by the main trading company "A" but give this group an ownership of 51% so that when I take the consolidated values of group "G" I only have my 51% iroll up into our group accounts.
So it will look like this in the entity hierarchy:
    Consol group accounts
    --G group
----A entity - 51% owned by Consol group
    ----I group
    --------B entity - 100% owned by A
    --------C entity - 100% owned by A
    --------D entity - 100% owned by A
At the consol level I only want 51% of this new group. Can someone please confirm that if I allocate ownership to "A" entity and "I" Group 51% ownership then I will get the correct results.
Also, if we do not have management control of "A" entity do I also tag this as Associate as well as "I" group?
    Many thanks
    LG

  • What are the pre-requisites for learning OA Framework?

    Hi,
Im new to oaf,can any body help on this
What are the pre-requisites for learning OA Framework?
    Karthik

In order to develop any OAF Application you need to know few concepts before doing any kind of development. The concepts are basically the Business Components for Java(BC4J) components.
    They are:
    Application Module(AM)
    Entity Object(EO)
    View Object(VO)
    Association Object(AO)
    View Link(VL)
Now let us see the description of each component.
    Application Module:
Application Modules serve as a containers for related BC4J components. The pages are related by participating in the same task. It also defines the logical data model and business methods needed. They provide the transaction context and also used for establishing database connection. AM’s can be nested to provide more complex AM’s.
    Entity Object:
EO encapsulates the business logic and rules.EO’s are used for Inserting,Updating and Deleting data. This is used for validating across the applications. We can also link to other EO’s and create a Association object.
    View Object:
View object encapsulates the database query. It is used for selecting data. It provides iteration over a query result set.VO’s are primarily based on Eo’s. It can be used on multiple EO’s if the UI is for update. It provides a single point of contact for getting and setting entity object values. It can be linked together to form View Links.
    Association Object:
An association object is created where we link EO’s. For example take the search page where we link the same EO to form a association between the manager and employee. Every employee should have a manager associated. But if it President then no there is no manager associated. This is a perfect example to understand the AO.
    View Link:
A view link is an active link between view links. A view link can be created by providing the source and destination views and source and destination attributes. There are two modes of View link operation that can be performed. A document and Master/Detail operation.

  • Pre requisites for installing SAP Router

    Hi Friends,
As i am going through the implementation phase, I have to install sap router which i am new at. Also i am doing it because i have to connect Maintenance Optimizer to Sap service Market place for which Router would be essentially required.
I have some questions to put forth.

Installing the sapcrypto library and starting the SAProuter
    Contents
u2022     Downloading necessary software components from SAP Service Marketplace
    u2022     Creating the certificate request
u2022     Additional actions necessary before you can start saprouter
This section describes the necessary steps to download and install the sapcrypto library for use with saprouter. The saprouter must be started with the options described later in this section.
The license for the sapcrypto library covers  saprouter connections between saprouters at SAP and the first saprouter on customer sites and backend connections within the customer`s network. For all other purposes the library CANNOT be used!
Downloading necessary software components from SAP Service Marketplace
    1.     Login to the SAP Service Marketplace with the Service Marketplace USERID which is assigned to your installation.
    2.     Change to the alias SAPROUTER-SNCADD. Before you can download the software components two preconditions must be met.
         a.     You must have been allowed to download the software. This authorization is added as soon as SAP has received a positive statement from the "Bundesausfuhramt". This procedure is necessary since the software falls under EU regulations.
         b.     For more information on how to obtain authorization if download is not possible see note 397175.
         c.     You must accept that you must follow the regulations imposed by the EU on the use and distribution of the cryptographic software components downloaded from the SAP Service Marketplace.
    3.     The acceptance of the terms and conditions is logged with your USERID and stored for reporting purposes to the "Bundesausfuhramt".
    4.     Accepting with the button on the web-based form takes you to the folder where you can download the Software components.
These are packed into a single CAR file sapcrypto.car
    5.     Copy the file to the direcory where the saprouter executable is located
    6.     You can get the file car.exe/sapcar.exe, which is necessary to unpack the archive from any Installation Kernel CD.
Executing the command car -xvf SAPCRYPTO.CAR will unpack the following files:
    [lib]sapcrypto.[dll|so|sl]
    sapgenpse[.exe]
    ticket
    Creating the certificate request
    1.     As user <snc>adm set the environment variables
    SECUDIR = <directory_of_saprouter>
    2.     Change to the Shortlink SAPROUTER-SNCADD. From the list of SAProuters registered to your installation, choose the relevant "Distinguished Name"
    3.     Generate the certificate Request with the command
    sapgenpse get_pse -v -r certreq -p local.pse "<Your Distinguished Name>"
    4.     Alternatively use the two commands:
    sapgenpse get_pse -v -noreq -p local.pse "<Your Distinguished Name>"
    sapgenpse get_pse -v -onlyreq -r certreq -p local.pse
    5.     Display the output file "certreq" and with copy&paste insert the certificate request into the text area of the same form on the SAP Service Marketplace from which you copied the Distinguished Name
    6.     In response you will receive the certificate signed by the CA in the Service Marketplace, cut&paste the text to a local file named srcert
    7.     With this in turn you can install the certificate in your saprouter by calling
    sapgenpse import_own_cert -c srcert -p local.pse
    8.     now you will have to create the credentials for the SAProuter with the same program (if you omit -O <user>, the credentials are created for the logged in user account)
    sapgenpse seclogin -p local.pse -O <user_for _saprouter>
    9.     This will create a file called cred_v2 in the same directory.
For increased security please check that the file can only be accessed by the user running the SAProuter.
Do not allow any other access (not even from the same group)!
On UNIX this will mean permissions being set to 600 or even 400!
On NT check that the permissions are granted only to the user the service is running as!
    1.     Check if the certificate has been imported correctly
    sapgenpse get_my_name -v -n Issuer
The name of the Issuer should be: CN=SAProuter CA, OU=SAProuter, O=SAP, C=DE
    2.     If this is not the case, delete the files cred_v2, local.pse and start over at Item 4.  If the output still does not match please open a customer message in component XX-SER-NET-OSS stating the actions you have taken so far and the output of the commands
    4.,7.,8. and 10.
Additional actions necessary before you can start saprouter
    1.     The environment variable SNC_LIB needs to be set for the user account SAProuter is running under.
    SNC_LIB has the form
    UNIX      <path_to_libsecude>/<name_of_sapcrypto_library>
    Windows NT, Windows 2000     <drive>:\<path_to_libsecude>\<name_of_sapcrypto_library>
    2.     Check if the environment of the user running saprouter contains the environment variable SNC_LIB
    UNIX     printenv
    Windows NT     System environment variable
    3.     start the saprouter with the following command line:
    saprouter -r -S <port> -K "p:<Your Distingushed Name>"
-K tells the saprouter to start with loading the SNC library
the corresponding file ./saprouttab should contain at least the following entries
    inbound connections MUST use SNC
    KP "p:CN=sapserv2, OU=SAProuter, O=SAP, C=DE" <your_server1> <port_number>
repeat this for the servers and port_numbers you will need to allow,
please make sure that all explicit ports are inserted in front of a
    generic entry '*' for port_number
outbound connections to <sapservX> will use SNC
    KT "p:CN=sapserv2, OU=SAProuter, O=SAP, C=DE" <sapservX> <sapservX_inbound_port>
permission entries to check if connection is allowed at all
    P <IP address of a local host> <IP address of sapserv2>
all other connections will be denied
    D  * * *
    Example
For a SNC encrypted connection to the SAPRouter on sapserv2 (194.39.131.34), the saprouttab should contain the following entries:
    SNC-connection from and to SAP
    KT "p:CN=sapserv2, OU=SAProuter, O=SAP, C=DE" 194.39.131.34 *
SNC-connection from SAP to local R/3-System for Support
    KP "p:CN=sapserv2, OU=SAProuter, O=SAP, C=DE" <R/3-Server> <R/3-Instance>
SNC-connection from SAP to local R/3-System for NetMeeting, if it is needed
    KP "p:CN=sapserv2, OU=SAProuter, O=SAP, C=DE" <R/3-Server> 1503
SNC-connection from SAP to local R/3-System for saptelnet, if it is needed
    KP "p:CN=sapserv2, OU=SAProuter, O=SAP, C=DE" <R/3-Server> 23
Access from the local Network to SAPNet - R/3 Frontend (OSS)
    P <IP-addess of a local PC> 194.39.131.34 3299
    deny all other connections

  • Pre-requisites for Workflow

    Hi all,
I'm new to workflow...can anybody give information on all the pre requisites like settings to be maintained before we can start creating workflows.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Harshu,
Mainly it is the automatic workflow customization done in SWU3 transaction that is required to create workflows and for their successful execution. These settings are to be maintained by the basis team and involves the customization of workflow prefix, web domain, background job processing etc.
After these settings are done, you need to create workflows in t-code SWDD.
You can also use event trace to check BO event triggered (SWEL). Use SWELS to switch on/off the trace.
Also transaction PFTC would help you to create workflow tasks and templates.
You can refer to the study material on workflows in SDN wikis and blogs for further details.
Hope this gives you some direction.
    Regards,
    Saumya

  • Unicode Compatability is a pre requisite for ECC 6.0

    Hi all,
Can any body send me any link or any document which says tht Unicode Compatability is a pre requisite for ECC 6.0. its really urgent.
    Regrads,
    Ruchika saini

    Hi
    see this
The Link will be helpful to you.
Re: Upgrade 4.6 to ECC - What are the responsibilites
regarding Unicode influence in Standard programs
    Very good document:

    https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/d37d1ad9-0b01-0010-ed9f-bc3222312dd8

You need to use the transaction UCCHECK.
    The report documentation is here
    ABAP Unicode Scan Tool UCCHECK
You can use transaction UCCHECK to examine a Unicode program set for syntax errors without having to set the program attribute "Unicode checks active" for every individual program. From the list of Unicode syntax errors, you can go directly to the affected programs and remove the errors. It is also possible to automatically create transport requests and set the Unicode program attribute for a program set.
Some application-specific checks, which draw your attention to program points that are not Unicode-compatible, are also integrated.
    Selection of Objects:
The program objects can be selected according to object name, object type, author (TADIR), package, and original system. For the Unicode syntax check, only object types for which an independent syntax check can be carried out are appropriate. The following object types are possibilities:
    PROG Report
    CLAS Class
    FUGR Function groups
FUGX Function group (with customer include, customer area)
FUGS Function group (with customer include, SAP area)
    LDBA Logical Database
    CNTX Context
    TYPE Type pool
    INTF Interface
Only Examine Programs with Non-Activated Unicode Flag
By default, the system only displays program objects that have not yet set the Unicode attribute. If you want to use UCCHECK to process program objects that have already set the attribute, you can deactivate this option.
    Only Objects with TADIR Entry
By default, the system only displays program objects with a TADIR entry. If you want to examine programs that don't have a TADIR entry, for example locally generated programs without a package, you can deactivate this option.
    Exclude Packages $*
By default, the system does not display program objects that are in a local, non-transportable package. If you want to examine programs that are in such a package, you can deactivate this option.
    Display Modified SAP Programs Also
By default, SAP programs are not checked in customer systems. If you also want to check SAP programs that were modified in a customer system (see transaction SE95), you can activate this option.
    Maximum Number of Programs:
To avoid timeouts or unexpectedly long waiting times, the maximum number of program objects is preset to 50. If you want to examine more objects, you must increase the maximum number or run a SAMT scan (general program set processing). The latter also has the advantage that the data is stored persistently. Proceed as follows:
    - Call transaction SAMT
    - Create task with program RSUNISCAN_FINAL, subroutine SAMT_SEARCH
For further information refer to documentation for transaction SAMT.
Displaying Points that Cannot Be Analyzed Statically
If you choose this option, you get an overview of the program points, where a static check for Unicode syntax errors is not possible. This can be the case if, for example, parameters or field symbols are not typed or you are accessing a field or structure with variable length/offset. At these points the system only tests at runtime whether the code is sufficient for the stricter Unicode tests. If possible, you should assign types to the variables used, otherwise you must check runtime behavior after the Unicode attribute has been set.
To be able to differentiate between your own and foreign code (for example when using standard includes or generated includes), there is a selection option for the includes to be displayed. By default, the system excludes the standard includes of the view maintenance LSVIM* from the display, because they cause a large number of messages that are not relevant for the Unicode conversion. It is recommended that you also exclude the generated function group-specific includes of the view maintenance (usually L<function group name>F00 and L<function group name>I00) from the display.
Similarly to the process in the extended syntax check, you can hide the warning using the pseudo comment ("#EC *).
    Applikation-Specific Checks
These checks indicate program points that represent a public interface but are not Unicode-compatible. Under Unicode, the corresponding interfaces change according to the referenced documentation and must be adapted appropriately.
    View Maintenance
Parts of the view maintenance generated in older releases are not Unicode-compatible. The relevant parts can be regenerated with a service report.
    UPLOAD/DOWNLOAD
The function modules UPLOAD, DOWNLOAD or WS_UPLOAD and WS_DOWNLOAD are obsolete and cannot run under Unicode. Refer to the documentation for these modules to find out which routines serve as replacements.

    Anji

  • Pre-Requisite for SAP BPC certification

    Dear Gurus,
Hope you all are good. I am an ABAPER. I want to do SAP BPC certification. Can somebody tell what kind of functional and technical knowledge is required for this certification or to work in BPC. Some told me you need a strong FI/CO knowledge for tis certification some say you need BW technical knowledge for this. I will be highly appreciatibe if someone tells me the pre-requisites or basics in percentage. Can ABAPER moves toward BPC?
My second question is what is the job demand for SAP BPC?
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards

    Saida,
Where did you get the information from that "you have to select in which version you need a certification, there may be 2 seperate test for those two" ???
Look at the link below for SAP BPC Certification C_EPMBPC_10.
    https://training.sap.com/shop/certification/c_epmbpc_10-sap-certified-application-associate---sap-business-planning-and-consolidation-100-g/certification-details/
It clearly states that candidate needs to have knowledge on both versions -
It validates that the Associate Consultant has a good sound knowledge and understanding of SAP Business Planning and Consolidation in SAP Business Planning and Consolidation 10.0, version for SAP NetWeaver and SAP Business Planning and Consolidation 10.0, version for the Microsoft platform.

  • Reports with wrong Server details (using ODBC name instead of server name)

    Post Author: jomuir
    CA Forum: Administration
When I save a report either in Crystal Reports 11 (File save as, Enterprise u2013 Central Management Server) or Central Manager Console, Objects New Object I get an error.
On looking at the database all reports I am adding or saving are automatically taking the wrong server details, and it is a greyed out field, so I cannot edit it. I presumed it is getting this information from my ODBC settings, but appears to be using the ODBC name/description as the server name (The Database and usernames are correct). This is happening on every report!
Any ideas what I am doing wrong? How I can save or add new reports with the correct details?
Not sure if this will help, but the error message is:- Failed to open the connection. D:\Program Files\Business Objects\BusinessObjects Enterprise 11.5\Data\procSched\wdcsql1.reportjobserver\~tmp117852b044ee296.rpt

No, Crystal Reports in not installed on the server, and the ODBC settings are not setup on the server. However I did add the correct ODBC settings on the server but this has made no difference.
So do I need to setup all the ODBC settings in advance of anyone saving a report (I will need to try and find obtain them all)?
Should the server also have a version of Crystal Reports on it?
One report is working but it was added by the guy that installed it, and this report is using the same database as all the reports that I have added, and should be the same ODBC settings.
The server (server username) does not have access to the original location of the reports, so it cannot run the reports - however when I save them to the server via enterprise or the import tool, does a version of the report get saved on the server? If so can you point me in the direction of them, so I can try and run them via the server?
