BI to CRM-- help

Hi friends,
I want to switch to CRM from BW . what is the area i should focus ? and also how to move into CRM from BW.
what should i say if iam working in BI and working in CRM at same time... I mean which part i worked in CRM-BW etc....
Any guidance and help is highly appreciated.

if you have a very good Internet Conneciton you could try to download it with the Tool: HTTRACK avaliable for free at http://www.httrack.com/. But you should better look for a CRM Documentation DVD.

How to map the form fields with zoho crm module?

I am integrating a web app with Zoho CRM,I created a form in .aspx and put some fields on it like first name,last name,email etc.Now i want to map these fields with the zoho crm contacts module,so that when i submit this form it will save the data there.

We are looking into the possibility of acquiring the HelpDesk HR module. Currently we are using the Human Capital Management (HRMS) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Help Desk modules. I am looking for any sort of documentation which would help me understand the current functionality of the CRM Help Desk HR module and how it integrates with the HRMS module and current CRM HelpDesk modules. How to restrict data for certain users (brokers) in CRM

Hi Team,
We need to restrict brokers on their ability to 'see' and create trade promotions for only a given set of customers.
Example:
Broker Joe Smith can only see through t-code BP 3 customers, even though their are 10 customers created in the CRM system.
Same goes for the t-code CRM_MKTPL (trade promotions), how do we restrict Joe Smith from creating promotions for only those 3 customer and not the other 7 customers?
Any help is appreciated.
Has anyone restricted any transaction like this before?
Does it need ABAP programming? or does it need additional security roles?

The access control engine in CRM, is probably your best bet for this option. I have not used it, but we did evaluate the use of the product. I know this product works in BP, but I have not looked to see whether it hooks in CRM_MKTPL.

CRM Extended BP using EEW doesn't create new BW datasources

Hi,
I am working on the BW reporting for a new CRM 5.0 project. Our CRM consultant has extended the Business Partner with additional tables using the Easy Enhancement Workbench (EEW). The CRM help text suggests that the EEW will create a datasource per table, but it hasn't happened. The enhance was marked BW relevant. Help text link is below -

Hi Rosa,
We raised a ticket with SAP and went through a number of attempts. Found that the problem was because we hadn't defined the BW source system in the CRM client (using transaction EEWC) BEFORE the enhancement was created. Regenerating isn't enough, so for the valid datasource a recreation was necessary.
Sorry for not adding the answer sooner, the problem dragged on for months.
