BI WAD report via KM anonymous iview does not show images

Hello,
I try to publish to portal a WAD html page generated via broadcaster in the public documents folder.
For this, I created a KM document iview to point to this document and set authentication to anonymous.
The problem is that the report is displayed, but without any images (hierarchy node for example).
We are currently in NW04S SPS16.
Does somebody have an idea to solve this issue ?
I must also say that when I generate an mht file, it works fine but not under firefox...

In our environment:
- SessionExpirationPeriod = 27.7 hours
- session-timeout (global) = 30 minutes
The reason I think I need to take care of these sessions is not to bring the system down by leaving them behind. With our current parameters the Load Balancer will ping every 60 seconds; hence there will be 90 sessions (3 servers) at all time that will show up in NWA (before the first one exits the list after 30 minutes)
Is there any negative impact on the system if I just leave these sessions out there? Like will there be any performance issues, out-of-memory issues, etc if I just leave these sessions alone?
On another side note; is there any recommended value for session-timeout that is generally acceptable to various companies? I read lot of SDN messages and SAP help; could not figure out what exactly session-timeout is.

I would say that odds are high that you have a bad cable. Maybe that is why they returned it.
I would suggest trying a different firewire cable.

Is your camera plugged in to wall power (not to batteries only). Must be hooked to an AC power source to import.

If your phone is turned off or not connected to the Internet, you will be unable to locate it. Last known location is only stored for 24 hours.

Date field submited via my custom form does not show in mysql database

I created a form with the custom form wizard with a birthdate field having the date picker feature. i set the birthdate field to sumit date as date datatype. My birthdate column in mysql database is datatype date. but when i submit the form the date does not show in mysql database. what should i do pls. is the problem with my form or with my database birtdate column.

Muse 7.0 plus Chrome: browser does not show images full browser width

Hi there,
I have a serious problem with the latest Muse version: the images which I use as parallax-masks for the background won't work with Chrome, though Safari and Firefox are not showing any problems. The issue: Chrome does either not scale the images to 100% browser-width or does not show them at all, or even shows the images cut into narrow stripes. This problem did not show in the previous version of Muse.
Of course I already restarted application and computer. System: Mac OSX Mavericks.
What to do now? The presentation with the client is very soon and this bug makes me very nervous.

The problem bartl encountered and reported was fixed by the 7.1 release (November 21st). The problem you're describing sounds different.
As of yet, I'm unable to reproduce what you're describing. The URL you've provided views the same in all the browsers I've tried, Chrome (32.0.1700.77) and non-Chrome, Mac and Windows.
That said, looking at your master page I don't think you've created what you intended. At present there are two full screen slideshows on your A-master. On contains no images and the other contains a single image. Both are set to have thumbnails and the thumbnails container is off the right side of the page.
If you look at your "Master Slideshow" layer in the Layers panel, you'll see the two slideshows. I think you'll want to delete one of them and, given your design, turn off thumbnails for the remaining one.
Also, if you don't plan to have multiple images in the full screen slideshow, you'd be better off using a background fill image rather than the slideshow widget.
I remain a bit puzzled how/why you're seeing different behavior in your instance of Chrome. Have you cleared your browser cache?
On an unrelated note, if you set the page fill and stroke to none and set the browser fill to the most common color from the garage door image, it will avoid the momentary appearance of a white page on a grey background when your home page first loads. Instead the site visitor would see a blank page that's the most common color from the slideshow image, until that image loads.

FF5 does not show images that are 'moved permanently' (http response 301)

Our web app shows maps from OpenStreetmap. The webapp is secure, that is, is uses HTTPS. Now, IE complains horribly when the web page tries to load <img> via HTTP, because it's mixed content that that is considered baad.
So our webapp serves the images by responding via HTTPS with a 301 (moved permanently) to the real OpenStreetmap URL (with is HTTP). That fools IE to not complain.
Now, Firefox 5 suddenly does not show the map images AT ALL. This has worked beautifully with previous version (and all other browsers).
What's wrong?

I also made sure that my slideshow (loader.swf) was set with wmode = opaque while the navbar is set to wmode = transparent. The div for the nav bar has z-index set to 5 while the div for the slideshow has z-index set to 1. Both have absolute positioning. I hope this helps anyone in the future that has trouble with overlaying flash (.swf) files.

Bex iView does not show changes made in web templates

Hello,
I have a Bex iView that presents a web template which is exposed in two portals.
I made a certain change in the web template in portal A and I can see the change through the Bex iView in this portal.
I than transfered the change to portal B and I can see this change at the Web application designer's code when it is connected to portal B.
The problem is that I can't see the change through the Bex iView in portal B, it keeps presenting the old version of the web template. Also, if I preview it from WAD, which opens it in the portal, it shows the old version as well.
<b>I've already tried/verified the following:</b>
1. It's not a client related issue as it happens to all clients.
2. I have tried clearing both the client and the portal's pcd caches.
3. No cache whatsoever is configured in this iView's properties (Cache Level: None, Cache Validity Period: 0,0,0,-1, Allow Client-Side Caching: No).
4. When I run the iView in debug mode in the application integrator I can't see anything unusual I can think of. Also, I can see there that it points to the correct web template.
5. Retransported the web template from server A to server B.
What else can be done here? Any ideas...?

DVD player does not show images

Hi,
This could have been added to a recent post, but it is somewhat different.
When I insert one of my own DVDs, DVD player plays the music all right but no image...unless I request to open DVD media in the menu.
Can someone help and tell me why is it not doing it automatically as it did with my previous OS version ? What should I do ?

Furthermore when I open the media VIDEO TS from my DVD, it is loading but the controler does not allow me to do anything; just inactive; I just hear the music that is on the home page of the DVD

Struts Portlet does not show images when it is accessed outside the domain

Hi all,
I am using Oracle 10.1.2. I have created a Struts portlet. When I view the struts portlet from my office domain (University domain) it works well and shows the images properly. However, if I try to access the same page containing the struts portlet from some other domain (my home), I cannot see the images and CSS associated with the page. This might be a firewall issue. Is there any way out?

Photoshop does not show Image after converting to sRGB

Hey,
i just got a new Eizo Coloredge Monitor which i conectetd to my Macintosh.
Everything seems to be fine actually. But when i´m converting an Image from Pro Photo to sRGB for instance... the Photoshop Window does just show a black window.
I think it is just some kinda new function or some kinda Colorspace warning, but i just dont get around it and don´t really know what this means..
Can someone help me .. or maybe had the same problem??

Are you stating when you use edit Convert to Profile abe in the convert dialog you check preview the change the profile to convert to different profiles like sRGB or sgray and others that you see a black image window with no image in it?

Okay, so last night my site was working just fine, im just testing out what i have so far which is not much. but then i re did the ftp and loaded and now its only text on a white page all bunched up in the top left corner. idk what i did wrong but i did click yes to a dependent file pop up by accident. i ment to hit no im not sure if thats what messed it up or not but idk why all of a sudden it not working.
Been trying to fix this problem for at least 5 hours now and cant find anything on the web.

RoboHelp9 HTML Trial does not show images in Create PDF for Review

When I do Create PDF for Review, the pdf shows only the gray rectangular placeholders for our logo and another image at the top of each pages instead of the actual pictures. Is this a bug or it is supposed to work like that?
Just in case this has anything to do with it:
Some of RH's PDF Creator Add-in X features did not work on my new Win7, 64-bit, Office2010 machine, and said I couldn't then install my Adobe Standard 7.0 CD because "you have a better product installed". The techs got on my machine for 2 1/2 hrs. and couldn't get it to write pdf via Printed Documentation and were going to try to re-create it in their lab. A week later I uninstalled RH's PDF Creator Add-in X and installed my Standard 7.0 and I can now do Printed Documentation to pdf. Would this have caused the problem in first sentence?

I cannot be sure but I would say it is highly likely. PDF Review is designed to work with Acrobat 9 or X. I know Word 2010 has some issues with Acrobat 9 so if you are using 7, nothing would surprise me.

Home page does not show image/video/maps etc.. have to start web search before they appear

I downloaded Firefox 4 but find that I cannot do image/video search from home page I have to start a web search and then image search from new page. Anyone have same problem or know answer

Photoshop CC does not show image!!

Some one pease help me! i have subscribed to Photoshop CC, I have been an Adobe user fro the past 10years so failry comfortable user. I have opened an image (jpeg) I see the bar containing the file name - I see the image itself in layers however i have a grey screen in photoshop!!
I am operating on Windows 8.1
Please advise as i am spending far to much time trying to trouble shoot all this new equipment and software with absolutely no results or improvements to my work efficency - 10 steps backwards!!

On further sleuthing - I am set to a user on ( changed to admin on the OS since yesterday ) the original admin account has full display on Photoshop CC however my user account is stil the same and i've noticed missing colours on other non adobe programmes.
I have checked graphic card settings on both accounts and both are the same! has this something to do with the licencing?? As i purchased Photoshop for my use no the admin users use.
Bangin my head to fix this!!

Bridge does not show image previews anymore on one of my drives

Bridge isn't showing image previews on one of my drives. I have tried resetting the preferences as well as deleting the cache to no avail.

I don't believe so, because it operates as expected in finder. It's only bridge that doesn't seem to want to create the thumbnails. I went to the thread you posted, Robert, but unfortunately I'm not on Windows and don't see any "online" or "offline" options.
Transporter is not a cloud service. It's actually a local hardware device, so it's more a network drive than anything else.
