Bi weekly Income for numbers template

All,
Can anyone advise on this issue. i searched this forum and found nothing that matched my need. I get paid biweekly and would like to modify the template in numbers 09 to give the same information it does but on a bi-weeklyschedule with monthly expenses since my income is bi-weekly but my expenses are monthly. thanks in advance for your help.
Best Regards
SeanLi

I assume you are using the personal budget template. I assume you don't really need to break everything down biweekly. And is it biweekly or twice a month?
If you are using the template as provided by Apple and if you get paid twice a month (not biweekly), you can change the Monthly Net Income table in the following manner:
Change A2 to read "Biweekly income"
Change A5 to be =2*A2+A3
For biweekly it will be more difficult because not all months are equal. Some months will have two pay periods and some will have three. The template is not set up to handle that situation and it would be very difficult (though not impossible) to modify it. You would probably be better off putting your month-by-month income directly into the Annual Budget table and deleting the Monthly Net Income table. Alternatively, you could determine your average monthly income and put it into the Monthly net Income table.

  • Looking for Numbers template for Estate Administrator's recordkeeping?

I am the administrator of a relative's estate and need to do formal recordkeeping of the financial aspects of the probated estate.
I use Apple Numbers for creating budgets and other kinds of recordkeeping, but cannot find a template that I feel confident is appropriate for this task.
Does anyone know if there is an existing template that would work for this as is or that would be adaptable for the task? I also need to include reports on a small number of stock holdings until the probate process is complete and the estate assets are distributed between the beneficiaries.

Thank you Jerry. I appreciate your efforts. Because I try not to waste people's time on forums, I had already exhaustively researched this topic and when that wasn't fruitful posted here.
I found the same form you shared a link to, and related ones, from NH. Their stuff is helpful. I've also already visited my state's and county's related websites, which also share info and forms but they don't share any forms for or adequate details about reporting.
The NH info can be a guide. My real interest is templates to make recording everything and creating reports efficient and easier to keep up with, especially ones that will self-calculate.
In the template arena, it seems estate recordkeeping isn't on the radar. I couldn't find any Microsoft templates either. It's too bad, because lots of people have to take on this task and it's not a small one by any stretch.

  • Are there templates available for Numbers 08?

I'm trying to create a sales account profile in Numbers. Is there a template available for this?

    d,
Just be careful when you browse for Numbers Templates that you're getting an 08 version. The newer ones are likely to be for 09. You can use the trial version of 09 to open, browse and Save As 08 if you wish. There will likely be some fix-up to do in that case, but it would be better than nothing. It's amazing how the Numbers Templates on the sharing sites have improved in the past several months, and of course the best will be done is Numbers09.

  • How can I add a new Template to My Templates in Pages? I've read most of the discussions on the subject but it doesn't work for me. By the time I reach the Templates folder, I only see templates for Numbers and not for Pages. Need help, please.  Thanks

How can I add a new Template to My Templates in Pages? I've read most of the discussions on the subject but it doesn't work for me. By the time I reach the Templates folder, I only see templates for Numbers and not for Pages. Need help, please.  Thanks

Si vous avez utilisé la commande Save As Template depuis Pages, il y a forcément un dossier
    iWork > Pages
    contenant Templates > My Templates
comme il y a un dossier
    iWork > Numbers
    contenant Templates > My Templates

  • Where can I find a checkbook register template for Numbers for Mac?

    Hello:
I am new to Mac and Numbers would like a checkbook register for Numbers for Mac. Numerous internet searches have shows Numbers from 2009 or earlier came with a template but the most current version of Numbers (which I of course have) did not come with it. I am not comfortable enough in Mac or Numbers yet to create my own.
    Please help!
    Thank you!
    Kelly J

    Kelly,
The Budget Template in Numbers 3 can be modified to include a Checkbook function by adding one row and one column to the Transactions table.
Here's what it would look like:
There are a couple of significant changes, one for you and some for the document.
The change for you is that you must remember to enter checks as negative numbers and deposits a positive numbers. This is standard accounting practice - money going away is negative, money coming in is positive.
Besides the new column in Transactions, you also must put a minus sign in front of the expression in the Actual column of the Summary by Category table in the Budget Sheet.
The expression in the new column of the transactions table is:
    =IF(D=0, "", E$2+SUM(D$2:D3))
The extra row in the Transactions is just to hold the label for beginning balance.
    Regards,
    Jerry

  • Numbers templates for SPC activities?

Does anyone have Numbers templates for working with SPC data? Can you recommend something to use with Numbers?

Thanks for the offer. I am just investigating the SPC process because of a work related project. Never imagined that I would find the process fun. Problem is that being a newbie I am not sure of the specific needs.
I was trying to add an "upper limit, lower limit and average" to a X-bar control chart. I created the table with my measurements, calculated  the upper and lower control limits and average. I could not add these to the chart so I create a line using "shape" - lines are not too exact. Prefer to create these using the calculations.

  • Hi, where can I find more templates for numbers?

I wonder if anyone knows where can I find more tmplates for Numbers?

From my point of view, the best source of templates is the chapter 12 of Numbers User Guide.

To be the AW6 successor, iWork MUST integrate a TRUE DB, not a list organizer !

  • Financial Valuation templates for Numbers

    Hello,
Are there any valuation templates available for numbers e.g. DCF model?
Are there any apps in general available for Mac for doing financial valuation? I am aware of he ValU app for iPhone but havent found any for the Mac.

I do not know of any available for Numbers but you may be able to find an Excel template/spreadsheet that fits your needs, import it, and clean it up. Search the web for "discounted cash flow" Excel.

  • I need a Numbers Template for Event registration

I am hosting a Women's Retreat that has people registering, paying for tickets, etc.  Is there a numbers template that would allow me to collect that data and show it in a nice format?

Numbers does not have anything specifically called an event registration template.  There are several options:
    1) search using your favorite search engine (google found quite a few hits when I searched using "Event Registration Template"
    2) build your own in Numbers
Option (2) shouldn't be too difficult.
    It could look something like:

  • Numbers templates for baseball

Are there any templates I can use in Numbers to keep track of baseball statistics? I don't need anything as sophisticated as the commercial software, just a template that calculates batting average, on base percentage, ERA.

    Welcome to the Apple forums
Take a look at iWork Community for user-contributed templates.
A Google search for Excel templates may find what you need. You may need to change the file extension to .xls or .xlsx for Numbers to open them. The iWork apps don't recognize Office template extensions.

  • Is a Calendar template for numbers available?

Does anyone know if a calendar template for Numbers is available somewhere?

    HI CG,
    Thanks for the feedback.
If you'd like a starting point for your exploration, I have a 12 month calendar you're welcome to examine. It's a port of one I originally wrote in AppleWorks (or, more likely, in ClarisWorks for the first version), and later ported to Numbers.
It fills in a 12 month calendar on a single table, calculated from the starting date entered in cell A1.
Minimal instruction, and those still refer to the AppleWorks version, where columns could not be hidden, but where individual cells or groups of cells could be locked.
Let me know if you'd like a copy. Address available in my profile.

  • Numbers template for bed & breakfast

Does anyone know of a good source of templates for Numbers that may have something suitable for running a bed & breakfast?

Have you tried a general search on "numbers templates"? You can also use almost any excel template that does not include macros.
