BIC Transaction: Language Translation problem

Hello All,
the Input filed description of transaction" BIC" is coming in German language even though i am login into English.
can anyone tell me what should i do in order to get the description in English?do i need to implement any OSS notes or some other settings then please let me know .

Hello,
you are right. but this is a standard transaction and the linked program is RFBVBIC_0 is also standard SAP program.
now, we can not go for new change request. it should be provided by SAP only right.
hence, i was searching for any OSS notes reqruired to be implemented or correction in Program RFBVBIC_0 is required.
if anyone has idea about this please help me in this regards.

Language translation problem

Hi,
I would like to set the language to be the browser language, but i am having problem translating to language other than German.
I have the .xlf file Test.wdview.xlf (US English as default/Project language) Test.wdview_de.xlf (German translation) and Test.wdview_fr.xlf (French translation)
If i set my browser language to be German, it picks up the correct translation, but when I change the browser language to French, I get the US text instead of frech translation.
I even tried to rename the suffix of the file to be fr-fr and fr_fr.
Any idea why that's happened?

There is a setting each user can make.
Transaction SBWP
Menu item Settings => Workflow settings => Personal settings
In the lower part you find the option (in English) "Display work item texts in logon language".
For translation, I've seen other solutions, but one that also works is to log in to the system in the language you want to translate to and just translate and save the text.

Use the transaction code SE63 to translate the workitem texts....

Problem in language Translation

Hi Experts,
I am having problem in language translation of smart form.
I have include all text as text element and have done translation in SE63. But when I login in to translated language the output remains in English.
I have made the translation from English to Chinese in SE63.
Please suggest why the output does not come into translated language.

I have been working on translations for 8 months now. I think i can resolve your issue.
Remember one thing in mind when you do translations firstly when you go to se 63 and make some changes make sure that you have not opened the smartform in Change mode. If you do so then you will face this sort of probelm. As per your messages i think you have already checked the language in the form
If not make sure you do it. Now try again in SE63 make changes in what ever langauage you are doing and then "saveactive" .
One more final thing if anytext in smartform say &invoivce_no& is blank in smartform then it will not show up in se63 i think you know about this.

Problem with Language translation

     Our project has gone under EHP Upgrade last week,
     But the customer is facing problem with XD03 transaction.
     The problem is, even after logging in Finish the following fields are displayed in English....

          I have checked with translation for the standard program, it is maintained in Finish still problem is coming.

One smartform for all languages - translation/mandant problem

Hi Smartformers,
I am trying to develop a translation for a smartform inside the form (translation language chosen by a condition).
I am working on mandant 100 (modifying for other mandants than 100 is not possible).
The problem is, most changes are not in visible in mandant 300 at all.. Is there a way to transfer the smartform to another mandant?

looks like RS_LXE_RECORD_TORDER does not exist in 4.6B.
Maybe that will clear things out a little: I am not using se63 for translations. so we don't care about the translation problem (anymore;).
I have transferred texts from between clients, but now I want the same on another server (but scc1 is blocked there).
texts are stored in sapscript.

XLF - Language Translations Migrations Problem

Hi
We are trying to upload XLF files for language translations using the following command.
Command is getting executed without any errors and we can see the uploaded translation XLF files from the front end (XML Publisher Administrator/Home/Templates).When we run the report for the languages other than English, Lables are not appearing in the translated language and also the uploaded XLF files have no information of the fields and translated labels.
It just contains the header section.
This is happening only when we try to upload XLF file using XLIFLoader and not the same case when we upload the physical XLF file from the front end. (Templates/Upload translations).
Please help us to resolve the issue ASAP since we can‘t proceed with our migration activities with out
Translation feature.

but in my case it is a checkbox group where fields will be fetched from a database dynamically when we run the application

Just try this transaction SE63.
In that There are menu called GOTO and WORKLIST.
Check the options in those two. I don't have sufficient authorization to check the things. I think it will provide you the required information.
Please revert back me if you find a solution or if i am wrong. SO that i will try some other option.

SMARTFORMS language translations are not stored

Experts,
I am trying to translate a SMARTFORM from Language EN to Languages ES, PT & DE.
After maintaining translations using SE63 when I check the output it is giving the correct output with language translations but after changing the english version again, when I tried to give the output in language ES, PT & DE all my translations are gone. I dont know the reason why it happened, even I have created the transport using the program 'RS_LXE_RECORD_TORDER' as well.
Again I did the same thing second time i .e. translated the texts in different languages and again changed the form in language EN (base language) and activated it and after this, again I have tried to give the output in languages ES, PT and DE, again the same all my translations are gone and displaying only in English language.
Kindly give some ideas so that this problem get resolved.

Allotted points for your advice, but actually before asking this question I already searched in the forums and found the same program, but I thought that since my language translations are not getting stored, I may be using wrong program for the transport to be generated.

Language Translation in BW3.5

We have a requirement to display user interface/reports in Spanish language. We are working on BW 3.5.
I am trying to set up the translation environment following the link on sdn http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/ad/06dcf4c4be11d291c70000e8a5f6e6/frameset.htm
I have done the setup for Target Language, Translation Client, Translation Graph, Object Types for Translation and Translator Profiles. Next step is to Assign Packages.
As per the steps given in http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/ad/06dcf4c4be11d291c70000e8a5f6e6/frameset.htm:
1. Call up transaction SLWA.
2. Select your target language under the tab title Target language.
3. Choose the tab title Packages.
4. You first need to select the packages that you want to assign to a translator.
5. You can now see the number of packages you have selected under Selection.
6. Choose Assign from the application toolbar.
A dialog box appears containing a list of all the translators that are defined for the target language you have selected.
However at the sixth step, to assign packages for translation, the only options I see are: Lock, Translate, Package Info and Lock globally. I do not see a 'Assign' button as mentioned in the online help.
Does anyone have an idea? I am not able to proceed further without assigning packages. Your help is highly appreciated.

Folders Component - Language Translation

Someone know How the Oracle UCM deal with Language Translation in Folders Component?
I have a little problem. I would like..for example:
I have a Folder in Contributions Folders called "Administration Documents"
If I change the language of UCM in user profile for Portuguese, I would like this Folder will have a name "Documentos Administrativos" instead "Administration Documents".
Anyone know how I should proceed?

O que tu tens de fazer é o seguinte:
- Tens de ir até ao Componente Wizard, abres a tua componente, no custom resource definition clicas em Add, seleccionas a opção "Resource - HTML Include/String, e no filename podes pôr, por exemplo, ww_strings.htm e clicas Next. No próximo ecrã escolhes String e escreves as tuas traduções da seguinte maneira:
No Name escreves o nome que queres dar à string. Ex: pt.wwAdministrationDocuments
No campo abaixo escreves o valor que lhe queres dar: Documentos Administrativos
Se quiseres a mesma string com tradução para inglês crias outra linha no ficheiro mas desta vez com en. em vez de pt. e a respectiva tradução.
Nota que ao criares o ficheiro de traduções pelo Component Wizard, ele vai criar umas linhas do .hda que dizem respeito à língua.
Depois podes editar o ficheiro como quiseres e adicionares directamente as tuas traduções assim:
<@pt.wwHello=Olá!@>
<@en.wwHello=Hello!@>
No teu código basta escreveres <$lc("wwHello")$> que ele traduz consoante a língua que escolheres no perfil.
Não te esqueças de reiniciar o servidor pois as alterações podem não fazer efeito logo de imediato.

Language translation from Development class

Hi Experts,
I have a small problem regarding language translation. Here i have to translate all the texts from one language to all other available languages from development class.
Suppose for example all the texts of reports in a development class are in english, i want to copy those texts in to all other languages at a one short. Is it possible? I know we can translate this from se63. but there we can do individually, i want to know is there any way to copy easily all ata atime from a development class?
Let me know the solution please.

Incorrect language translation, buttons in sourcing screen

Hi,
I am working with SRM 5.0. In sourcing cockpit, the buttons in the lower half of the screen (in work area) appear in german text. Logon language is "English".
I have run report "BBP_GEN_DYN_TEXTS" and re-activated function group "BBP_SOCO_UI_ITS". this has solved my transalation problem of other text on the same screen. Pls suggest.
