Bid emails needed in HTML format
Hello Experts,
For SRM project at our client we need to send Bid Invitation, Bid Accept and Bid Reject emails to Vendors. We are using the standard SAP functionality for this process.
Emails get sent to the bidders properly but these emails are in normal text format. The emails do not display any logos and also the urls are not hot links.
We could not find any BADI to change the settings to send emails as HTML format and not text and help getting the logos and links displayed properly.
It is very important to the client to have the company logo displayed in the emails and have url's clickable !
Any help on this will be greatly appreciated.

Note: Though the article title stated that it is for Lion, the process should be aplicable in OS X 10.6
Some messages may use HTML to include remote images that, when retrieved from the sender’s servers, reveal information about your computer’s address. You can protect your privacy by not loading remote images contained in messages you receive. In addition, when you don’t load remote images, messages display more quickly.
Choose Mail > Preferences, and then click Viewing.
Select or deselect the “Display remote images in HTML messages” checkbox to show or hide the images.
If you have chosen to hide remote images, a banner is displayed across the top of messages that contain remote images, asking whether you want to load them for viewing.
If Mail detects that a message is junk mail, HTML images aren’t displayed.

Email smartform in html format
Hello all,
I've been searching SDN for help with creating an email in html format via smartforms. Pavan Bayyapu's blog was really helpful and I've also used program SF_XSF_DEMO_MAIL as the basis for my program. I followed their examples exactly but my emails always appear as a .MTL attachment, never as just the body of the email.
I tried removing the file name from lo_mime_helper->set_main_html and from lo_mime_helper->add_binary_part as suggested by some other folks but I haven't had any success.
Has anyone solved this same issue? Maximum points will be given to helpful suggestions.

If you want to send some text as Body of the Mail then follow this once

1.u have to pass the body of content in table CONTENTS_TXT(ia m using I_OBJBIN) (each line a record) then. suppose i have appended 11 records to the table CONTENTS_TXT .

EMail report in HTML format in Background
Hi all,
We have a report which sends the output in HTML format to the internet email address. We use the function module SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1 for doing this.
When we are executing this in foreground the entire output is available in the HTML file, but when we execute this in background only the last page of the spool request is sent in the HTML file. Please help us in what way we can avoid this.
There are 5 pages in the report. Please advise us what exactly has to be done.

Desktop.mail Mailto with HTML formatted email
I'm trying to make my application send an email with an HTML formatted table in the body. I've got the text to be visible in the email, but it doesn't format according to the tags and the tags are visible. HTML email is turned on in the email client.
I've been searching all over for a solution. Are there some escape characters I need to use? Has anyone been able to do this or have any ideas?

HTML Formatting Auto Email messages
We have a scenario, when we provide a status update to an SR. The activity description is sent out as an automatic email. Workflow is working fine issue is automatic email is in Text format instead of an HTML format. Reason why I need an HTML format is in the description there could be a link to a web page. This link appears as text instead of a Hyperlink.
CRMOD Support states this as an enhancement - I was wondering if anyone has created any workarounds for this.
ThanksI dont believe there is a workaround for this as the emails are sent as plain text email. This has been highlighted as a request from customers i asked them if EMOD could be used in workflow which would be great for both internal and external customers.

Email notifications begin sent in text format rather than html format

I have encountered a strange issue wherein i get email notifications in text format with all html code in the email(trying to open wf emails in netscape navigator)...but for all others the emails are begin sent in correct and decent HTML format......is there any prefernce that has to be set up in local mail client for me to receive email notifications in HTML format.

If you need the message in HTML format, make sure the correct HTML tags are in place in HTML Body.
If you do not need the message in HTML format, make sure the HTML Body is empty. -

You can use 2 reports for this.
In one report just display the ALV..
and in the second report submit this first report to memory and get it html format and then send it as an email.
Just check this code (instead of alv...this is a normal report that is sent as HTML attachment)

HTML formatted Email notification with embedded images
I am using Oracle BPM 6.5 (Studio) and been spending my wheels on trying to send out an email from a process with formatting. I am able to send emails in plain text. I get a parseexception whenever I try to set the content type property of MAil object. Not sure what might be going on. Here is the sample code.

It would be great if I can get a sample to send out HTML formatted emails. I know it should work because the automatic notification mail that is sent out by the engine is HTML. This is the one where it says "The instance can be accessed "here""

Attach to Email - Can we create HTML format rather than plain text
We need to send invoices & receipts to customers. Our accounting app produces a PDF. We then use the toolbar button (or File|Attach to email).
Our email client is MS Outlook.
Is there a way to create an HTML format email (so we can use our signature and get our branding out there) rather than the plain text email which is produced currently.

When sending output via email in HTML format (from rtf template), all the formating is lost, layout just expands horizontally.
Output is correct when displayed in pdf format.
Also occurs when previewing the output.
Further information:
This is purely a custom rtf template created for remittance report. In the rtf template we have used the filler, we have kept many conditions like if the data spills over to next page based on number of lines,and if the number of data lines is less then also it should align and fit to the table /page etc.
If we remove the filler the output will shrink to half page in HTML page and WE DO NOT want this kind of report output. We need the report output in HTML which should fir to paper size(A4 size) even we have less number of data rows.
Any assistance would be appreciated.

The problem here is the standard program "IBY_FD_SRA_FORMAT module: Send Separate Remittance Advices" sets the output type to HTML if the remittance advice delivery method is "MAIL". Below is the extract from the log file of the program "IBY_FD_SRA_FORMAT module: Send Separate Remittance Advices"

Since the delivery method is EMAIL, the XML Publisher output type is set to be html.
********* EXTRACT END *********
This causes the following issue: -
The concurrent program ends without generating a pdf output and hence cannot be emailed out as a pdf document.
Action required from you: -
[1] Ensure that the standard program does not default the output type to HTML for email. This should be PDF instead.
[2] Ensure that IBY XDO Delivery, sends the PDF output as an attachment. -
