Bid Invitation Sent out Via XML....

Does anyone know if I can configure the bid invitation to be sent out via XML in the standard SRM 4.0 or 5.0 systems?  If so is there a configuration document for this somewhere or can you give a brief example on how this is setup?
Regards,
-Paul

Hi Rajkrishnan and Rama,
Yes,  I would like to send the bid invitation via XML to the Vendor and receive the bid back from the vendor via XML.  Does anyone have any documentation on how to do this?

  • How do you get iCal to accept an invitation sent out to a list?

When I am sent an invitation, the following error is produced by iCal:
"Someone invited you to an event using an email address that isn’t on your “me” card in Address Book. Find your email address in the following list and add it to your card in Address Book."
The email address used is the one on my "me" card.
It looks as if the problem is that the invitation has been sent out to a list and iCal appears to be unable to handle invitations that are sent to a list of addresses.
Is there any way to switch off this additional processing, so I can receive ICS invitations that have been sent to a list of email addresses?

Without actually seeing some of what is in the .ics attachment there's really no way to see what's going on.

  • Copies of invitations sent out?

I am in a second testing phase for extensive company use of iPads. Due to legal regulations we have to keep all of our electronics communication safed and backed up. Now the problem: when invitatiosn are sent from iCal on the iPad there appears to be no copy of the set out mail. That would be a real showstopper, so please - where are they?

That's an indication that you've set the phones up with the same Apple ID for iMessage.
Go to Settings>Messages. Fix the e-mail addresses so that everyone uses their own and no-one else's.
This is a common problem for people who try to share Apple IDs.

  • Sharepoint Emails Sitting in Queue, Alerts not being sent out via email nor sms

I'm using Sharepoint 2013 Enterprise Edition on Windows Server 2008 R2. I have the mobile account setup correctly (account tested successfully) and I have the email setup for use with gmail (have configured the virtual IIS 6.0 manager to connect to gmail.
Currently when I set alerts they take on sharepoint but nothing is making it outside of the server. I have correctly mapped the mail and mobile phone functions and synchronized the user profiles from the active directory. Configured the Forms Based authentication
    (All of which work).
When I look on the virtual smtp manager I can see a large number of connections from unknown IP addresses connecting as my public IP (Suspect bots or spammers spoofing my IP address). I have checked online and the server is not blacklisted. When I look in
the mail root file there I can find the emails / alerts sitting in the queue but going no where. If I manually move a .EML file to the drop folder after a small amount of time I see the file disappear so I know it's going somewhere. Can someone please help
    me out here?
I've attached the SMTP Service log below as you can see there are a large number of code 550 which means unable to relay. I'm struggling to understand how that can be when my accounts are all configured correctly?

Yes, it probably would be easier to use an existing relay (and easier to manage). I'd use that, instead.
You can also open one of those EML files to check the x-sender/x-receiver headers.

This post is my own opinion and does not necessarily reflect the opinion or view of Microsoft, its employees, or other MVPs.
Alright I'm set to relay through the internal mail server however in the EML file I'm not seeing an x-sender or x-recipient which is weird. Shouldn't SP2013 automatically populate that info?

    Hi
Which SRM / SUS version are you using ?
You can create a Bid Inv in SAP EBP from the SC item. You do not set up Bidding Engine separately. It is part of EBP, you just need to enable the Sourcing/Bidding transactions, Assign Roles and Authorizations.
It is LAC, SUS, CCM, those are setup separately.
Bids are created in SRM Bidding Engine (ABAP part). If you don't want to use SRM Bidding Engine, then you should use the DPE scenario where the RFQ is not created in SRM but in your external Sourcing tool (Exostar).
This scenario is still present in SRM 4.0 or 5.0 (even if not intented to a futur extension).
You will trigger this RFQ export manually from Sourcing Cockpit, except if you have customized "automatic creation of bid invitation for items without source of supply" in SPRO --> SRM --> Sourcing --> Define Sourcing for Product Categories (this option is not available in EBP 3.5, thats' why I was asking about your SRM release).

The bid invitation creation service is bbp_bid_inv.
    Please look at following thread:

Run report RSWUWFMLEC to convert work items to mail. In transaction SCOT you can send it to preffered vendors.

  • PO Creation error after processing bid invitation

    Hi Guys,
I need small help from you. I have created one bid invitation with out shopping cart. I had processed the bid invitation. Few vendors have submitted their bids. Purchaser had accepted those bid and approver had approved those bids. Now I have the option to "Generate PO" and "Create contract". If I click on Generate PO button I am getting an error that “Purchase order has not been created”.
I am unable to process further. Please help me. I have maintained PO number range in both the systems means in R/3 and SRM. Transaction types are also maintained in both the system. What else settings I need to configure?
if i click on "Create contract" buttion then I am able to create Contract in SRM system in held state. When this Purchasing contract will be copy to Backend system?  once I chance the Contract status to release then this will be copied to backend?
My requirement is to create Purchase Order ?
    Regards
    Apparao a

    Hi
Please provide your system version details.
In the bid invitation, the Follow-On Document field must contain the entry Purchase Order or Contract.
    · In the case of bid invitations that are created manually, purchase orders are local only (product category is not relevant). In the case of direct material purchase orders, a copy (that cannot be changed) is created in the backend. Whether or not it concerns direct material needs to be stated in the item details in the bid invitation. You must specify the goods recipient and purchasing group. Also:
-> Outline levels can be displayed in a local purchase order
-> Bid invitation texts, bid texts, and documents are transferred to the purchase order (however not internal notes).
Also refer to this link for configuartion settings ->

  • VF02 trigger email after IDOC success sent out

    hi all,
I am having this situation which I need to trigger an email when the IDOC has been successfully sent out via VF02 (Billing).
One of the requirement, the IDOC should be sent out successfully before triggering the email.
Is there anyway to do it?
I had tried using BDC and finding user exit.... but so far, it's not possible...
    1. BDC, i couldn't initiate one to trigger an output type because I am still in VF02...
    2. User exit, the output type will go through all the user exit before sending out the IDOC. So i couldn't use any user exit to initiate a second trigger to check whether the IDOC was successfully sent out and send email.
Are there anyway to trigger an email after i had saved my output type in VF02?
    Thanks
    William Wilstroth

  • Invitations not being sent out on Calendar Server 6.3

We would be grateful for any help on this. We can give further details if needed, please just let us know.
    Thanks very much.
    Issue:
To our customers the calendars server appears to be fully operational and without error. However, when a customer creates a new event and invites other people to attend, no invites are sent out. The event creator, however, believes all is in order as no error messages appear and the list of invitees appears on the event. This was working recently. We have looked for things which have changed (e.g. disk space, size of files, corruption, recent patching, licenses expiring, etc) but have not yet found anything that has changed.

    What we've done:
We have run db_verify and csdb -v check on the databases. ics50deletelog.db did have corruption, so we fixed that by using db_dump and db_load to export then import the databases.
We also purged the ics50deletelog.db database using cspurge afterwards when the dump and load didn't seem to have had an effect.
We tried putting the log level up in the /opt/SUNWics5/cal/config/ics.conf , but didn't get any more details when restarting the service (through /etc/init.d/sunwics5 restart)
Before we did the db_dump, db_load and purge:

Sounds like we talking about 'Event Invitations Notifications'. These are the notifications that gets sent when some one invite you to an event. Whether you receive the notification or not depends on your preference that is stored in ldap. This can be set using the Convergence by navigating through Options-> Calendar -> Notifcations (Check "Notify me via email of new invitations or invitation changes"). The actual ldap attributes that gets stored in user's entry is below.
    icsExtendedUserPrefs: ceNotifyEnable=1
    icsExtendedUserPrefs: ceNotifyEmail=[email protected]
In the following cases, the user (attendee) will not get notifications even if the above preference is set.
a> Creating an event with attendees in the past. CS6, by default, suppresses notifications for past events. You can enable notifications for past events by setting the config "ine.pastnotification.enable" to "yes" in ics.conf
b> If the client creating the event requests server not to send notifications. (smtpNotify wcap param for storeevents.wcap). Outlook Connector uses this wcap param, so you won't get server notifications for the events invited using Outlook Connector. Outlook Connector sends it's own notifications directly.
I think, you are looking for these kind of notifications. The process responsible for sending these notifications is "csadmind" on the Frontend. So, you need to check admin.log on the Frontend to see if it is sending notifications or not.

  • Multiple duplicate meeting invitations being sent out

One of exec. admins is experiencing the issue where she sets up meeting invitations (as a delegate on behalf of one of the VPs she supports) and sends them out via Outlook 2003 from her desktop PC. She also has her exchange account on her Iphone which has verion 3 on it. Within a 24 period and usually much sooner, the same meeting invite keeps sending itself out over and over with no way to stop it. We have tried reinstalling MS Office 2003 and reimaging her PC but no resolution, even swapping Iphones. We do know that when her exchange account is completely removed from her Iphone, the entire issue goes away? Anyone else experiencing this issue and if so, any way to resolve it?

We have a similar issue happening in our organization. Our project management team all use iPhone 3G (9 of them.) We manage a team of professionals from many companies and in many timezones, and the members have been receiving way too many copies of meeting invitations from us and are getting angry. Some are forming negative opinions about our organization because of this and blaming our IT team; this needs to stop ASAP. Does the 3.1 verison repair this problem Apple?? It isnt helpful that Apple hasn't been responding to people in their forums with Exchange calendaring problems and this problem Trumps the others by far.
    Any assistance would be great!

  • ICloud iCal invitations are sent out in German

My iCloud calendar invitations are sent out in German even though my icloud.com account settings say the account is managed in English. What can I do?
where is the email generated? within mail? within ical? I'm running an English version of Mac OS X 10.7.3 Lion. Mail is in English.
Could this be because the account was originally a mac.com then a mobileme and now an iCloud account. Some sort of legacy information on the account that there just isn't an option to change anymore?!
Grasping at straws here. Beyond annoying!

Found the answer - sorry guys!

Re: how to change language for ical server invitations?
Jan 23, 2012 9:43 AM (in response to philippergo)
I think I have the solution to this issue.
    What Happened to me:
When I send invitations to my friends, they received the invitations in Japanese (I was in Japan for 2 years, that's when I created the MobileMe account, perhaps it is related).
I changed the language of iCloud (in User Name -> Preferences, after signing in intohttp://www.icloud.com). The language was already "English".
    But the problem persisted:
    My Solution:
Go to: https://appleid.apple.com, (Manage Your Account, once signed in, go to "Language & Preferences")
There, you can type in the language for your inviations (English). Check the primary and the alternate mail addresses just in case. Sometimes, if the primary mail address is not iCloud or me.com, the invitations are not sent propperly.
After that, you can save your settings. The invitations are sent in English.
    Problem solved on my side.

  • Mail sent from POP 3 account going out via Exchange

I have an original iPhone running the 2.0 software. I have it configured for a corporate email account via Exchange as well as a POP3 personal account.
When I send an email from the iPhone via the POP3 account, it ends up going out via the Exchange account and showing up in the Exchange "sent" folder. While I'm composing the message, the From field shows the POP3 address. Still, once the message is sent the From field shows the Exchange address.
I've searched for settings that might affect this, but find none. Is this a feature or a bug?

This should not be happening. The iPhone includes a default email account selection, but that is not in play with this, or shouldn't be.
I suggest deleting and recreating the POP account on your iPhone.
This will lose all sent messages - those currently in the POP account's Sent mailbox.

  • WS14500028 BADI WF for Bid Invitation:  No workitem is sent to the inbox

    Hi All,
I was tasked to troubleshoot the existing workflow of the client.  The workflow was able to determine the approver who will receive the workitem for his/her approval. However, the workitem is not seen in his inbox.  Since there has been no workitem passed on to the approver's inbox, the workflow stays hanging and the document could not be converted to PO and Confirmation.
What do you think may cause the problem? Does it also involve the implemented BADI? Does the BADI only determine the approver or does it also control the workitem to be passed to the approver?
Please let me know your recommendations and suggestions to this problem.
I'll generously reward points for helpful answers.
    Kindest regards,
    Reymar

    Hi Masa,
    How are you?
I think I've met you before here in the Philippines (I just started learning workflow that time).
I was able to do those steps. However, the log says that the BADI WF for BID Invitation No. xxxx, GUID xxx has a waiting status and there is no icon present under the agent column.
What do you think is the problem?
    Thanks for your response.

  • Create and Send  Bid Invitation

    Hello,
Newbie here, so thanks in advance for any help. We are in design phase and trying to figure out what's feasible or not.  We want to automatically create a bid (RFQ) from an approved SC item.   We then want to send this bid (RFQ) to our middleware (egate).  Here are my questions:
    (1) Can I create a bid in SAP EBP from the SC item, without setting up the Bidding Engine?
    (2) Is creation of bid in SAP EBP, the same concept in R/3 backend, that is, I can view it via ME43 and it's stored in EKKO?
    (3) Found several FM, what is the diference between BBP_PD_BID_CREATE and BAPI_BIDEC_CREATE?  Which one should I use for our purpose in (1) above?
    (4) Then, there is the BADI, BBP_CREAT_RFQ_IN_DPE...this seems to be a user-exit connected with the Bidding engine, allowing the developer to change the bid?
    (5) How can I send the bid (RFQ) automatically to the middleware within SAP EBP in XML format?  Is this feature available in one of the FM in (3) above?
    Thank you.
    Regards,
    Irene

    Hi Irene Yu,
Good Quesitons. I will try to answer what i can.
    2. Creation of bid in SAP EBP, One part of RFQ functions, as the same concept in R/3 backend, but have much features than what you do in R/3.
    3. The diference between BBP_PD_BID_CREATE and BAPI_BIDEC_CREATE.
BBP_PD_BID_CREATE is used as parf of Bidding Functions, not an interface.
BAPI_BIDEC_CREATE is an interface. You are trying to create Bid Invitation from external system, you should consider this interface.
    4. Yes, there is the BADI, BBP_CREAT_RFQ_IN_DPE...this seems to be a user-exit connected with the Bidding engine, allowing the developer to change the bid inviatation in the background, Like other Doc Change Methods in BBP_DOC_CHANGE_BADI.
    5. How can I send the bid (RFQ) automatically to the middleware within SAP EBP in XML format? Is this feature available in one of the FM in (3) above? - I am sorry i do not understand this question.
    Regards,
    Jay

  • Bid invitations output

    Hi experts
I would like to know if bid invitations (restrict and public) can be sent to SUS via XML?
I configurated it but when I save the bid the syssten not send it to SUS but the log is sent with success, when I go to SUS as supplier bider I can't see bid invitation.
Concening output by e-mail with URL for reply, where I can set this URL, I tested and the e-mails are sent but the URL is wrong, no access possoble>
    Thanks
    Nilson

    Hello Nilson,
Bid invitations are stored in the SRM-EBP and not sent to SRM-SUS. You can configure 3 types of logon access to Bid.
    A. With SAP NetWeaver Portal
B: SUS is the logon interface for supplier and SRM-SUS has a menu like "Process Bid" which is liked to SRM-EBP. When user select the menu Single Sign On works to SRM-EBP.
C: Usually PO handing and Bid handling person are different in supplier side. In this case you can provide 2 different logon interface for SRM-EBP and SRM-SUS.
The URL in the email is generated based on EXT_ITS attributes in the PPOMA_BBP. You can also change the URL by BADI BBP_CHANGE_URL.
    Regards,
    Masa
