Bid PO Error

Hi guys,
We are working on SRM 5.0 (supp pack 10) and ECC6.0. We got an issue during PO creation from Bid Invitation. Its observed that in the process PO link when we open the PO created via Bid, we get an error msg 'Document structure inconsistent'
Can anyone help us to find the reason for this error? The PO is complete in all aspects. System allows to PO directly (without bidding process) using the same material and vendor.

check the consistency of the user who is trying to open the bid invitation. Give sap_all and test if this works, to isolate any authorization issues.

BIDS 2008: Error HRESULT E_FAIL has been returned from a call to a COM component.

I am using SQL Server 2008. Whenever I opened SQL Server 2000 DTS packages designer from BIDS2008 I am getting the below error.
Error HRESULT E_FAIL has been returned from a call to a COM component.
Could anyone please help me to solve the issue.
Environment details:
SQL Server 2008,
VS2008(BIDS2008),
Installed backward compatability(SQLServer2005_BC_x64.msi),
Installed SQLServer2005_DTS.msi
Copied dll and rll files as Microsoft recommended(https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms143755.aspx).
Moved environmental variables(C:\Program Files(x86)\Microsoft SQL Server\80\Tools\Binn\;) to starting point.

OCIEnvCreate failed error when previewing report in BIDS

I have installed oracle 11g 32 bit and 11g 64 bit clients on SQL server 2012 and can create linked servers to Oracle databases and query said databases.
But when in the BIDS environment I cannot create datasources that point at the Oracle databases I get the following error msg

Thank you for your question. According to your description, you installed oracle 11g 32 bit and 11g 64 bit clients on SQL server 2012, you can create linked servers to Oracle databases and query inside databases, when you use Oracle as data source in BIDS
the error occurred. Base on my research, this error may be caused by two reasons:
DLLs from a previous installation of Oracle Client have been left on the system, causing a conflict.
You may not have read permission to the 'Oracle' folder.
Please try to follow the steps below to solve this issue:
Perform a search for "OCI.DLL" on the local machine. If you find any instances of this file in any location other than your ORACLE_HOME rename or delete it. If in doubt, uninstall the Oracle Client, and then perform the search again. Anything that is leftover
is the culprit.
Grant read and execute permission to the folder 'Oracle' to the ASP.NET user, regrant it if the permission has been granted, then remove the Read Only restriction and restart your machine.

According to your description, when you export the report to PDF in BIDS, the error “Export error: An error occurred during local report processing. Object reference not set to an instance of an object.” is thrown out.
Based on the error message, it could cause by that there are hidden groups within the report, or the matrix has multiple columns and rows, and Hidden is set to true in the Visibility properties. So in your scenario, please check those two factors. If
issue persists, please provide report design for our analysis. Besides, would you please tell us which SQL Server version you are using?

SSIS execute process task error on unziping

Hi
I am using 7zip to unzip files in SSIS using execute process task. Here is the configuration of the task:
executable: C:\Program Files\7-Zip\7z.exe
arguments: e default-o\\servername\livechat\unzip\
However, on executing package in BIDS, following error is thrown
[Execute Process Task] Error: In Executing "C:\Program Files\7-Zip\7z.exe" "e \\servername\livechat\7566_20121009.zip-o\\servername\livechat\unzip\" at "", The process exit code was "2" while the expected was "0".
Can someone help where I made mistake?

I have mapped the share to F: and then tested. Unfortunately that doesnt work as well.
I am getting the following error:

Bidder and Bid problems

Problem 1 (Unable to see Bidder)
We have a bidder (active SU01 user) assigned in the right org structure. While in "Sourcing Cockpit" --> "Choosing a Bidder", the buyer is unable to see specific bidder.
Problem 2 (Date Problems)
Bidder not able to respond to a bid. Error message "End Date has been reached. The submission deadline has passed". The dates have been checked multiple times for consistency.

Hi,
in order to get a valid bidder account, you need to create an employee with a login using the "Manage Business Partner" transaction at the web. Only via that way the user is created accordingly with all relevant attributes and is integrated into the Org Model under the Supplier Node under the respective supplier. When everything is fine, the bidder is mentioned as a contact in the line for the supplier during selecting suppliers for a bid invitation.
For the error, once again check the date: is it the right way around / format correct. Enter an end date one month ahead, to check if all the settings are available.

I've seen that a number of times with 7x upgrade files. I would like to say it's consistent but it hasn't always been. I've done a number of upgrades and sometimes I would run across that issue and other times, I would not (there would be multiple files in the SFTP path). After a few times, I just started always putting my upgrade file in a dedicated folder.

I cannot explain it other than to tell you the current recommendations are to keep java turned off and there are no other posts like yours that claim they need it on (at least that I have seen). Also I have it off on my system and flash plays with no problems in all the sites I go to (modulo some buffering problems sometimes with certain hi-res videos on only youtube).
Did you install the latests flash player downloaded directly from the adobe site?
Maybe you have a flash storage or cookie problem. Those can be cleared and deleted with the Flash Player system preferences.
It's your decision on whether you want to take your chances with Java on rather than find the root of the problem. If you do that then at a minimum make sure you have latest apple java updates, I recommend you install and learn about Little Snitch, and use OpenDNS DNS servers (208.67.222.222, 208.67.220.220).

SSIS Deployment

Hi All
I am having a problem with a package I am trying to deploy to our SSIS 2014 / SQL Server 2014 environment.
I have 4 connections in the project,
3 have been converted to Project Level connections and parameterised for ServerName and InitialCatalogue
The last connection is at Package level and feeds some ForeEach loops / populates some local variables. this is also parameterised but only with a local variable which is basically what i need
The entire package runs as expected from BIDS - no errors atall.
Now fast forward, I have setup a Dev environment in the environments tab - and I can see the 3 sets of params for the 3 project connections - all values have been configured and set as required. But when i run the package - it is complaining about one of
the lookups with the following error:
Error1:

The lookup that is failing validation is simply using a basic connector - dragged and dropped from source to destination and one tick for the output - if i preview it i get the output and if i run it from BIDS all goes through fine
Does anyone know how to solve this? I dont know if it makes any difference but the Source connector is the Package level and the lookup values are in a project level connector.
If this is the issue - how do i solve it? I cant change that connection to project level as it will no longer be able to feed the Foreach loops in the project.

Workflow not found when changing QTY on PO

Hello, I am on SRM 5.5 Extended Classic.
I have a problem with approval workflow for PO.
I have activated WS14000075 (without approval) for both event SAVED and Save Change Version. This works fine when I create and save PO. But when I change the QTY on an exisiting PO, I get message "No workflow found".
I do not understand this as I have activated both the mentioned WFs (and the value change lower than the limit in Purchase Order.Total Value Diff).
How can I find out which event this change triggers, and any suggestion on how I should solve this?

Sourcing cockpit - customer columns in worklist.

Hi,
I added two fields in item level of shopping cart as mentioned in note Note 672960 - User-defined fields 2
After that In sourcing cockpit I am not able to see the customer fields in the column list where as when I add the shopping cart to the workarea, In the workarea the customer fields are visible as columns.
Fields in worklist.
Description Category Quantity Requester Name of Vendor Requirement Contract Bid Invitation PRS Number Auction Manufacturer Part Number Manufacturer
Fields in workarea are :
Description Category Quantity Requester Vendor Name of Vendor Gross Price Net Price Requirement Contract Info rec. Purchasing Group Manufacturer Part Number Manufacturer Pur Grp Requestor
The last two columns Pur Grp and Requestor are the two fields added to shopping cart item level.
Why is it like customer columns are displayed in Workarea but not worklist?
Is the note 632982 Generation of screens for sourcing is the solution for this problem which tells about deletion of screens?

Which SRM version are you using ? Where you have added the fields - At Item level or Header level ? Are they appearing in the Extended Search functionality ?
Please ensure that the Append and Include table structures are activated carefully and also send the screen shots as well.

Its not a BIDI language
Error executing cursor.

Error 401 while trying to connect SSRS via BIDS Report Designer to PowerPivot workbook hosted in SharePoint 2013

I am having trouble connecting from BIDS 2012 to a PowerPivot workbook hosted in SharePoint 2013. I'm following this guide:
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg413489.aspx but run into authentication problems (Error 401, access denied).
I saw this issue comming up a number of times on this forum, but non of the proposed solutions really solve my issue. Also a lot of the solutions apply to SP2010. I verified the following items and they seem to be ok:
All servers / clients are member of the same ad domain.
The Excel PowerPivot file opens in SharePoint Excel Online and sliders and filters work (so connection SSAS / SharePoint is ok)
I enabled Kerberos, and fiddler/ Kerberos auth tester (http://blog.michelbarneveld.nl/michel/archive/2009/12/05/kerberos-authentication-tester.aspx) are reporting kerberos is used when connecting to the sharepoint site.
SPN for the sharepoint server is created and the sharepoint service account is allowed for delegation.
When looking at fiddler when connecting to the PowerPivot document in BIDS, i see an ADOMD.net POST request to /_vti_bin/PowerPivot/redirector.svc/ failing with error 401, even the request containing the auth cookie.
I updated the web.Config in C:\Program Files\Common Files\microsoft shared\Web Server Extensions\15\ISAPI\PowerPivot to use CredentialType "Windows" instead
of NTLM.
In the sharepoint logs I find this error:

The web-app is set to Negotiate so that's ok. I've reset the web.config back to Windows, but without luck.
I did see some strange log entries in the ULS logs:

You mentioned the claims-to-windows token service. How do i check if it is configured correctly?
