Bidding Via SUS SRM4.0

Hello,
I was wondering if anyone can tell me or point me to some documentation which gives the steps to access the bidding engine in SUS.
What URL do I put in the customer settings BIDDING_SERVICE?
I can process bids directly in EBP with vendor contacts, but I want to be able to do this via SUS.
Note: I am using SRM 4.0 Extended Classic Scenario
Thanks in Advance,
Kyle

Thanks Dirk,
I have been using the Service Procurment guide to configure this, but I'm not sure what url I should be entering.
My user had the SAP_EC_SUS_BIDDER role assigned on the SUS client.
SAP Defaults:
https://XXXX.XXXX.XXX:XXXX/scripts/wgate/bbpstart/!
I am using:
http://XXXX.XXXX.XXX:XXXX/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/bbpstart/!
This is the url we use to log into our EBP client.
It opens a dead dead page (The page cannot be displayed).
I just want to make sure I am entering the proper URL before I create a ticket.
Thanks Again,
Kyle

  • I want via sus 10.4.10 update and not 10.4.11 - how?

    hi,
we are using for the first time apple software update server (version 10.4.10).
because we need to install creative suite 3 and our workstations only have 10.4.7, we need to update 10.4.10.
yesterday we wanted to do that, but apple released yesterday also 10.4.11 and now we can't see the 10.4.10 update anymore (in the server manager gui).
yes, we could install 10.4.11, but we don't want to install an update that's only one day old.
so I would like to ask, is there a way to hold older updates like 10.4.10 or quicktime 7.2 besides the latest version?
    thx,
    regards,
    ferdinand

Once the newest 'version' of a SW is released (mirrored) in SUS you cannot use Software Update to 'see' any of the older versions but you can AWAYS 'manually' install the Combo, DELTA or Full installer at any time by downloading it from from http://www.apple.com/support/downloads/
The updates you are looking for are about midway down on page 2 (http://www.apple.com/support/downloads/index2.html)

  • Invoice created via SUS having error -The template item 1 does not exists

    Hi All,
We are in SRM6.0 and in our PRD system, we have few invoices created through SUS showing error "The template item 1 does not exist.
These invoices went into "To be corrected" status and when I hit check it gives me above error message. The message itself don't make much sense to me. Please note we can create new invoice in SRM manually and everything works fine.
    Appreciate any pointers.
    Thanks, Sachin

We have analysed the issue and found we are getting this error because these invoices are missing with "BE_LOG_SYSTEM" field in table BBP_PDBEI and "BE_REFOBJ_TYPE" field is showing "BUS2201 instead of "BUS2012".
Any feedback why we have these difference as compare to good invoices (created directly in SRM).
    Thanks, Sachin

  • PO - Document Type FO and Item Category B - Can they be transferred to SUS?

    Hi SDN
We are using R/3 4.7 with SRM 5.0 - Classic Scenario and XI 4.0.  We are just about to launch an SUS project to put our PO's on SUS for our suppliers.  Our organization is dealing with PO's for both Goods and Services.  As we know that there are no problems about putting the GR-Type PO's (NB type) on SUS but I would like to know if it is possible to transfer PO's that would be from the Document Type FO and Item Category B (Blanket PO) to SUS and ensure that our suppliers can do the entire PO Acknowledgement, PO Change and post the Invoice via SUS.  If not, what are the options for our R/3 - SUS installation?
    Thanks!

  • Is both MM-SUS & EBP-SUS possible at a time ?

    Hi Gurus,
SUS will be one of the most requiered functionality for Client and all POs need to send to Suppliers via SUS.
We are mainly going to use Classic Scenarion ,where MM-SUS  fits perfectly. But at the same time Direct Materails ( Manually or automatically thru PDP as ext Req) will trigger Extended Classic Scenarion, as per SAP standard setting , although we configured all prodcut cat for Classic.
So how we can send these POs ( genreted through Ext Classsic) to Suppliers ? Can we set both  MM-SUS & EBP-SUS at atime for all suppliers ,so that all orders will go to supplieres or any workout/option availble so that I will use only MM-SUS ?
    Plz help me.
    Regards
    NAP

really  i dont know why SAP did not do anything for direct material PO in ECC itself.
since many issues and customers are not happy some customers wanted to haveall  their PO in only ECC box  though direct or indirect material.
SAP has to do something on this direct material po in classic mode . i dont know what type of technical snag there are having to do the same.
Narendra:- Do some custom enhancement to clear the account assignment in the BADI so your sc for direct material will be created in ECC only not in SRM ( clear account assignments) .
customer expectations are PO in ECC only for all materials in classic scenario without doing any enhancement.
    not applicable for you /fyi
Note 1293572 - Account assignment is cleared in case of direct material
When a material in purchase order is ordered as direct material, then default account assignement is cleared even though the customizing for accounting is maintained for the direct material in case of government procurement.

  • SUS Invoicing in EBP-SUS Scenario

    Hello SRM Gurus,
Due to various business process we will be deploying ECS SRM with EBP-SUS scenario.  We have strong requirement to provide PO invoice and non PO invoices ( eg utilities) via SUS.  I know EBP-SUS scenario is limited to POR, I would apprecite if anyone has implemented invoicing in SUS as people tell me it is technically possible.  If so, please share information.

    Hi
<b><u>Please go through this which might give you some useful details -></u></b>
In the original business package for SRM 5.0, the two iViews , "Invoice Monitor" and "Setting for Invoice Monitor" , are not included in the content. But for some business cases, these two iView are required.
To add these two new iViews change the business package content manually as described below in the  Release-Independent SAP OSS Note 928764:

  • Querry on Bid Invitation processing and comparision

    Hi
Can anyone tell me how to get multiple line items in a Bid comparision list if a bidder has sent the multiple line items .
where are they are viewed at the time of display Bid fuctionality.
I would like to see all the line items which one bidder has sent to the purchaser .Because currently only first line item is only getting displayed.
Can anyone please  suggest  what has to be done on this point.
    Regards
    Sairam.

    Hi,
    1. make sure email set up is done as per note 455140. To send e-mails after bid is published  for the bid invitation transaction 'BID' attach relevant event schema. This will take care of sending mails whenver bid invitation is published or changed.
    2. Provide the role  BBP_EC_SUS_BIDDER to the bidders to enable them to see bid invitaions and send bids from SUS portal.  For this you also need to enable SSO (single sign on) between  EBP and SUS. Please refer the below link for further information.
sending RFQs from SRM EBP to SRM SUS
    3. It is possible to down load the Bid invitation. Further update the mail  id of the bidder with your id so that you can receive the bid invitation smartform. This you can take a print out and send it to bidders. You can make config setting in SPRO 'define actions for document output' to send the   bid invitation smartform.
Hope this clarifies all your doubts here.

  • Bid Invitation: Multiple responses desired

I am working with a client on a SRM Bidding Engine Blueprint. It is important that the bidder be allowed receive usually 3 bid responses per vendor, each with seperate terms and conditions. (i.e. different rates sought depending on timing and shipping point). They have received advice from SAP that it is only possible to receive one bid response per vendor - is this true? If there is a means of achieving multiple responses per bidder please outline for me.
    Thanks in advance!

    Hi John,
In standard, it has to be a different contact, so it will create a Bid displayed as a new line.
In custom, you just have to deactivate this control, and this let you create more than one Bid per contact. In that case also, all the bids are displayed as new lines. So you would get 3 lines with the same bidder/contact for your 3 bids.
We added a "Copy" button with the corresponding processing form to handle this event.
In did the same on a prototype to create several Bids via XML for the same vendor.
BW is also able to replicate documents, but you will have to reword your indicators, depending on how you want to interprete the data (only one response for the bidder, even if it submited 3 bid for the same RFQ).

  • SRM MM-SUS for Direct Material ( i.e. Ext Classic Scenario)

    Hi Friends,
We are planning to have the Classic Scenario in SRM 7.0  with  SUS. So it will be SUS-MM scenarion and it supports only for Classic Scenario,
But when there is a case of Direct Materials [ Manual or through PDP ( Ext Req) ], it is SAP by defaullt setting that , system determine Extended Classic Scenario.
Now , if SUS-MM supports only to Classic scenario ,then we can collaborate the Orders of Direct Material genereted through Ext Classic Scenario in SUS ?
Confused over these contrast . Can any one suggest that how to get both one in SUS-MM  ?
    Thank you in advance.

    Hi Alex,
    Thanks for reply.
It seems here is some confusion. PDP of Dircet Material is standard SRM secarion where we can soure the requieremnets generted in various SAP Module like PS, PM , SD, APO..etc. So We just hav eintenstion to source the requiermnet in Sourcing cockpit to create the PO .
Okay. For time being , forget the PDP of Direct Material.
Just take the Direct  Material ( For which we mention inventory or we procure for stock) only.
By SAP standard / defualt setting  , for Direct  Material , local PO is generted ,althoug we have mentioned Classic Senrion setting for the same . And it is Extended Classic Scenarion. Right!
At another side , it is SAP standrad that SUS-MM senarion support for only CLASSIC SCENARIO.
Then , my conern is  how we can send these Local orders for dircet Material to Supplier via SUS ? Wether it is not possible ?

  • Supplier Self Service (SRM-SUS)

    Hi All,
does anyone have or no of a definite list of which SRM-SUS fucntionality is available in
    Extended Classic Scenario
    Classic Scenario
    Standalone
What I'm trying to find out is which scenarios the following are available in:
PO exchange from EBP to SUS
    Catalogue Content Management via SUS
    Supplier Goods Receipting via SUS
    Supplier Invoice Receupting via SUS
    Cheers
    Chris

    please refer to the follwoing
    ·        The classic scenario
The shopping cart is created and approved in SAP Enterprise Buyer. The remainder of the procurement process takes place in the backend ERP system(s) and all other follow-on documents, such the purchase order, goods receipt/service entry sheet and invoice, are located there. With SAP Supplier Self-Services, you have partial supplier involvement for the operational procurement business scenarios when buying materials. There is no support for services.
    ·        The extended classic scenario
The shopping cart is created in SAP Enterprise Buyer. The purchase order and follow-on documents are also created there and then replicated to the backend system. The purchase order in SAP Enterprise Buyer is the leading purchase order and cannot be changed in the backend system. Goods receipts and invoices can be pre-entered in SAP Enterprise Buyer or entered directly in the backend system. With SAP Supplier Self-Services, you have partial supplier involvement for all your operational procurement scenarios. In these scenarios, you have supplier involvement for the purchase order and the purchase order response.
    ·        The standalone scenario
The shopping cart and purchase order are processed directly in SAP Enterprise Buyer. You have no materials management functions in your ERP system and, instead, use those in SAP Enterprise Buyer for all procurement processes. The final invoice is sent to a backend accounting system. With SAP Supplier Self-Services, you have complete supplier involvement for all your operational procurement scenarios

  • Bid Invitation (Notification and Output)

    Hi Gurus,
I have no clue how to manage Output / Messages for Bid Invitations. I need the system to do the following:
    1) Send email notification to Bidders in the bid invitation and also a notification when I make changes to the bid Invitation - How and where do I configure the message
    2) Post a notification on a portal
    3) Print the bid Invitation with all the attributes (to bidders who cannot respond electronicaly), so that the same can be posted to the vendor and then the purchase can perform surrogate bidding.

  • Bid Invitation attributes and weighting function

Attributes are transferring to Weighting section. This did not haqppen in the past.
During bid invitation creation the dynamic attributes that are used are
automatically transferred to the weighting function. Along with this

  • Stopping/Starting Portal via BAT file on Windows

In our landscape we have the ABAP and JAVA stack installed on separate servers for security reason.  We are trying to implement windows updates via SUS and need to automate the stopping and starting of SAP.  The bat file that was created works when stopping and starting the ABAP portion of SAP but on the Portal server it will take it down but when trying to start Portal, the J2ee Server will not start, but when I use the SAP MMC all servers starts up without any problem.  Below is the start up bat file, any assistance will be greatly appreciated:
    REM start of script
    PATH=%path%;G:\usr\sap\QBE\SYS\exe\uc\NTAMD64
    SET ORACLE_SID=QBE
    SET SAPDATA_HOME=K:\ORACLE\QBE

    REM
    REM end of script

I looked up some training material and in TADM10 - Unit4 - Starting and Stopping a SAP NetWeaver AS Java.. the following is stated:
Under Windows, the SAP system can also be started and stopped without a GUI by
calling a command by means of the executable files startsap.exe and stopsap.exe. This
can be done using a simple telnet access.
To start an instance of the SAP system, open a telnet connection and enter the
    following command: startsap name=<SID> nr=<instance nr.>
    SAPDIAHOST=<hostname>
To stop an instance of the SAP system, open a telnet connection and enter the
    following command: stopsap name=<SID> nr=<instance nr.>
    SAPDIAHOST=<hostname>
For the SAPDIAHOST parameter, enter the name of the host on which the instance is
    to be started.
So the script is correct, its all according to SAP advice... very strange

  • Vendor transfer from mm to sus and ebp to sus

    Hi,
    I have two scenarios.
    1. Plan driven procurement
    2. mm-sus scenario
For plan driven procurement I have transferred the vendor from r/3 to ebp using bbpgetvd  and ebp to sus using xi.
Now vendor can login to sus and do the biding. But in case of mm-sus scenario whether I need to transfer the vendor again using we14? Please suggest how to proceed vendor transfer incase if we have bidding in sus and po display in sus from r/3 not from ebp.
Vendor can be the same for both the scenario.
    1. Plan driven procurement - PO will be in EBP
    2. mm-sus scenario - po will be there only in R/3
    Regards,

    Hi,
I dont think vendor replication is needed. Did you try and test the MM-SUS scenario. Is there any error message that you are getting?

    Hi All,
We are using SRM 4.0 EBP 5.0. and we are implementing a standalone solution with a requirement for a one-step bid invitation approval workflow.
