Bidget Tolerence Limits Issue

Hi Guys,
I have a budget Issue. The Torrence limits are as follows:
75% - Warning.
90% - Warning and mail to Project Manager
100% - Error.
But the system is giving error for 90% only and document is not being saved.
Please help me.

Feedburner file size limitation issue

Hey guys,
I'm Alex woking at 'micimpact', South Korea.
We launched our video podcast in April and now have uploaded more than 80 episodes in the channel.
We are using Blip.tv to upload the video files and burned our feed in Feedburner.
But the problem is, as the title is implying, Feedburner won't allow me to upload new episodes due to the 'feed filesize limitation' issue.
So I have 2 questions;
1) is there a way fo me to reduce the filesize?
if not,
2) is there a way for me to continue uploading episodes WITHOUT having to delete older episodes
My understading of the issue goes this far.
I will be more than happy to recieve advises from people who experienced similiar problems.

The blip.tv link is to the web page, not the feed, and I can't see a link to the feed on it. However, the Feedburner feed will contain everything that's in the blip.tv feed, plus an number of tags which FB adds for the benefit of other rss readers.
It's the first time I've come across a size limitation on Feedburner. The problem is that the blip.tv feed is, to be brutally honest, a mess - it's got masses of 'blip:' tags which are no use to iTunes but expand the size of the feed considerably.
Presumably there's no way of getting FB to accept more than 512k in the feed (though you could approach their support, if any, for advice), so unless you want to go through the hassle of finding another way of making your feed (and I have to say that blip.tv has caused problems in the past and it's not a method I would recommend) your only option is to start removing older episodes. 81 is rather a lot anyway - new subscribers are not really very likely to go to the bother of downloading 80 older episodes, so dropping the oldest episodes is unlikely to have much practical effect.

There a a few problems/limitations I'm running into with the Adobe Content Viewer for Ipad 1 (not tested on 2), like:
Autoplaying more than 1 multiple-state is impossible. Only the object in the highest place in the layers is visible (like having pulsing navigation arrows and a fade in text) -works perfectly in de windows Adobe Content Viewer with Indesign 5.5
Autoplay of an multistate object with 'stop at last frame' does not work. It just fades the entire multistate object out, instead of holding. -works perfectly in de windows Adobe Content Viewer with Indesign 5.5.
Cropping Images (changing the objectbox) in indesign, becomes skewed (or squashed) like the image just gets pushed in the new objectbox size.
Buttons with a click image/appearence become invisible in a multistate object. -works perfectly in de windows Adobe Content Viewer with Indesign 5.5.
Some ideas for change
Not allowing an Overlay (which is larger than the page itself) on a page depth of 1, on top of a page with depth 0. Seeing content of the page below the currentpage seems quite unuseful.
Allow multistate objects to autoplay within another multistate object (thus allowing like a: menu catagorie wich can call an autoplaying slideshow)
Zooming in on an image without first having to tap on it to enable zooming.
Updating content button.
Hitting the update button in Indesign cs5.5 (windows) doesn't update all changed content.
Hitting download update in de Adobe Content Viewer (Ipad 1) doesn't change all changed content. Archive and redownload nessesary.
We would love to see the top issues working.

Proxy Authorization with COS connection limits Issue

Any one having issues with connection limits (nsSizeLimit, nsTimeLimit, etc) be applied on connections that come from the proxy server with the proxy authorization control?
Example:
nsSizeLimit is set on user A to 2000, via a COS Pointer definition. If user A connects directly to the directory the nsSizeLimit of 2000 is used. If user A connects through the proxy, and the proxy connection to the directory is through a proxy authorization connection via ID admin1, the limit is not applied and the system default limit 1000 is applied.
If I over-ride the COS value for nsSizeLimit and say its 3000. If I use the proxy connection in this case the limit of 3000 is used. So it only fails for COS settings.
All the ACI's are being correctly applied via the proxy connection just not the connection limits. So basically I can't get the limits to work when I have a COS value being used via the proxy authorization user.
Any ideas on how I can get around this. I want to avoid having to enter in the different limits into entries. Also using the limits in the proxy would create to many connection handlers.

Hi,
I don't think that connection limits (Time, Size and Throughput) for User A can apply to operations that are using the Proxy Authorization for that user. Proxy Authz is a delegation of Authorization for the ACI, and does not apply to Connection specific limits.

The viewer on the ipad will crash on a navto://NameOfPage#PageNumberOtherThenTheFirst, if that page where it directs to has a slideshow. this happens 90% of the time.

PO Limits Issue

Hi All,
I am trying to create Blanket PO using BAPI_PO_CREATE1 where I am receiving the message
"E SE 029 Please maintain services or limits" when I pass the Limit table information.
If I create regular PO I am able to create the same but only in case if I need to pass Limits values I am facing this problem.
Please do guide me to correct the same.

SAP Query SQ01 column limitation issue

At SQ01, I have created a number of custom reports via SAP Query.
Its a great tool and all, but I am running into a problem where there is a 255 character limitation when I create a Statistics view (where it summarizes values by characters I choose).
In the SQ01 Query screen, this is controlled by the columns field under the heading list format and if I list too many objects, I get a message stating report has exceeded 255 character limitation.
Is there any way I can modify this value, so I can exceed it (say 500?)?
For us, we use many query reports in our daily reporting so it would be worth modifying.
If anyone has any info on this, please advise (or feel free to PM me!)

"use ODBC outer join syntax on limits" issues

I'm converting a series of BQY's from Brio 6.6 to Hyperion 9.3. I have some questions about the "use ODBC outer join syntax on limits" option in the OCE. I sort of understand this option's purpose, but I don't completely understand the SQL I'm seeing. For example Brio 6.6 is generating the following SQL statement:
SELECT * FROM tblA AL1 LEFT OUTER JOIN tblB AL38 ON (AL38.ParentID=AL1.ChildID AND
AL38.Data='SomeData') WHERE ((NOT AL38.Action IS NULL))
Now, Hyperion 9.3 generated the SQL statement as follows:
SELECT * FROM tblA AL1 LEFT OUTER JOIN tblB AL38 ON (AL38.ParentID=AL1.ChildID AND
AL38.Data='SomeData') AND (NOT AL38.Response IS NULL))
My questions are:
1) Why isn't the "NOT AL38.Action IS NULL" statement included in the outer join in Brio? I'm OK with the fact that it is not, but my limited understanding of the "use ODBC outer join syntax on limits" seems to indicate that it should end up there.
2) The Hyperion SQL is returning incorrect results. How can I get Hyperion to generate the same SQL as Brio? And still use the OCE with "use ODBC outer join syntax on limits" selected? This setting is working fine for other BQY's.

Restrict issued quantity in process order

we are using process industry scenario, during confirmation COR6N backflush takes place and the material components are issued mu customer wants that during confirmation change in material components quantities not to exceed 5% of the standard and if it happens the system refuses to perform the goods movement .
is it possible.

Hi,
You can set tolerence limits for your purpose.
Maintain underdelivery and over delivery tolernce limits in the material master. (work scheduling views)
And in customizing setting "Define Confirmation Parameters" (OPK4), check "Error" with respect to under and over delivery tolerances, for the order type you are using.
Try confirming with more quantities, system should give error message.

are the same but goods receipt´s price is very-very different.
How should I set the values? Which one?

I am testing a new scenario in Invoice Tolerence Limits. I need to create a scenario for Invoice getting blocked due to tolerence key "BR". I am able to block the invoices but i am not sure that it is getting blocked due to the tolerence key BR (Percenatge OPUn variance)
Could anybody can throw some light on how to find that it is getting blocked for BR or please tell me how to test this scenario.

BR: Percentage OPUn variance (IR before GR)
The system calculates the percentage variance between the following ratios:
1) quantity invoiced in order price quantity units / quantity invoiced in order units (invoice value/inv qty)
2) quantity ordered in order price quantity units /quantity ordered in order units. (or value/ord qty)
The system compares the variance with the upper and lower percentage tolerance limits.
check if the above condn is satisfied.

Reg Price block and Qty block in MM Invoice docs Tolerence Keys adjustment

Hi Friends,
Related to MM Invoice documents gets blocked with Price block and Qty block,based on this FI doc also gets blocked with Payment block indicator"R".As per Std SAP we can remove these blocks thru MRBR. Right now my users are asking not required to remove these blocks with MRBR Tcode.
So i checked the Tolerence Limits defined for the co code and Tolerence keys.
As per my understanding Tolerence Keys "PP-Price variance", "DQ-Exceed amount: quantity variance" need to adjust with upper llimits and Lower Limits.
here i can see Upper and Lower check limit Tolerance limit 5.00% for Tolerence Key "PP-Price variance"
Tolerence limit 0.01% for Tolerence key "DQ-Exceed amount: quantity :quantity variance
Instead of changing the Tolerence Limits can i select the DO NOT CHECK Radio button for the bothe Price and Qty block.
If i selected the DO NOT check button what will happen,how it works.
How i can maintain the Tolerence keys,is there any other Tolerence keys also need to maintain.
Please suggest me with your valuable inputs.

hi,
If you do not want to check the Invoice for tolerance keys like quantity variance and price varaince then tick on don't check .In this case system will not block any invoice and invoice will post Automatically without any error.
Please check other tolerance keys in SPRO: OMR6
One more blocking is defined in the vendor master also under payment transactions accounting screen.There you are defining the tolerance group for Invoice Verification.

The system compares the variance with the upper and lower percentage tolerance limits.
Example:
PO         100 KG (order unit)   ->     1 PC (order price unit)
Invoice    80 KG                     ->     1 PC
1PC / 80 KG               1 PC / 100 KG (base)
80%                          100 %
   -> this means 20% variance
