Big Green spot in center of both the front and rear camera's pictures
My new iPhone 4 has a big green spot in pictures I take. It is visible on the LCD when framing the picture and also shows up in the saved picture after its taken. It is most noticeable when there is a light colored background. Restoring has no effect and the odds that both sensors are bad seem unlikely to me.
Also, I did some googling and found that this is also an issue with other camera phones.
Update: Did more testing and it seems like the issue is being caused by the compact fluorescent lights I use in my house. Taking pictures of my CCFL backlit monitor also exhibits these same issues. Can anyone else experiment with this and tell me if my problem is an isolated one or a general limitation of the iPhone's two camera sensors.
Note: I tested the same situations with my 3GS wish iOS 4 installed and found that it does not share these same issues as my iPhone 4.

The front and back camera on my itouch second generation stopped working. Any thoughts on how to fix it?
First, try to reset the device by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again. You will not lose data by resetting.
If this does not work, set it up as new device again, explained in this article:
How to back up your data and set up as a new device
If still no luck, get it serviced, the issue might not be software related.

While those numbers seem low its important to remember what the ipad cameras are for. They are not for taking photos. Who wants to hold up a huge ipad to take photos anyway when the chances are we all own a camera phone with much higher resolution or better yet, a real camera.
The cameras are designed for video. The front camera is good enough for facetime only while the rear can handle 720p video. Again, enough for a video call but thats about it. -

I had to upgrade to i-tunes 11.1.3 from my old i-tunes 10 so that my i-phone could get synced to i-tunes. I used to have several i-tunes libraries on my computer for various subjects. Like for movies, bird recordings, and songs I wrote myself. Now when I open i-tunes all the libraries open up at once in one library, it is completely reorganized, making it almost impossible to find my old songs, playlists, movies, etc. I just got done organizing my libraries, and now its all confused and Im terribly frustrated. How can I get my old organization back, and is it possible to have several libraries again, or both the old and new i-tunes on the same hard drive? Anyone have any advice how to organize my new i-tunes ?

my bluetooth says 'Not Available' how do i get it to work again. I have restarted the computer several times and have replaced the batteries in both the keyboard and mouse and yet it still is not working! please help
I have had the same problem. It was cured by turning computer off and/or restarting it. I am not sure if once was enough. I think shutting down must cut out whatever it is that blocks bluetooth. Good luck

I am trying to update ITunes from 10.4 to 10.5 I have tried from both the program, and from a download on Apple's website. Regardless, I get the following error messages: (1) Installation package for iTunes cannot be found. Try installing to find the installation package 'iTunes.msi' in a folder from which you can install iTunes. I can't find this folder. I have tried to completely unistall iTunes through the Control Panel, but it wouldn't let me: I tried going directly to the files themselves, but cannot uninstall. Any help would be greatly appreciated. System OS: Win XP SP 3.
Set the permissions for Everyone in the folder in which CCPackager created, to "Read/Write" enabled. This is strange since there is only an administrator account on the Mac (and that account already has read/write), but it seems to resolve the issue.

I have a Mac Pro using OSX 10.7.4. When using apple mail I click on the address icon to obtain email address and nothing happens. I've restarted both the application and the Mac but still won't open address book. Any ideas please.
Assuming you have these accounts set up in Mail, open preferences and under Accounts tab, edit the SMTP outgoing server list. Do you have a .mac address in the list? If so, delete it.
Are you using iCloud?
For the troubled account, select the correct SMTP server for that account in the box and check the box to use only that server with that account. -
Can you use the same Hulu Plus subscription on both the iPad and PS3?
Can anyone confirm whether a Hulu Plus subscription for the iPad also works for Sony's PS3 (or vice versa)? That is, can you pay ONE $9.99/month fee and have access from both the iPad and the PS3? The Hulu website seems to suggest that this is possible, but they don't come right out and say it. What I want to avoid is paying twice for the same service (i.e. $9.99 for the iPad AND $9.99 for the PS3).
Could someone who has a Hulu Plus subscription and both an iPad and a PS3 check this out. As of today (Nov 10), everyone on the PS3 can sign up for Hulu Plus at no additional charge (other than the Hulu subscription). Previously you also needed to be a member of the PlayStation Plus service (at $50/year) in order to subscribe to Hulu Plus.
Also, for anyone using a PS3 do you know whether the component video out works with Hulu Plus? Unfortunately, the iPad's component video out is NOT supported by the Hulu Plus app.Okay, so I signed up for Hulu Plus and my new (single) account is working on both my iPad and the PS3. Also, the component output on the PS3 seems to work fine with the Hulu content. However, the Hulu streaming performance on the PS3 seems a little rocky. On my first and second attempts to watch something the video would play for a few seconds and then pause for several more seconds, it was basically unwatchable.
The content on my iPad seemed okay, so it looks like a problem on the PS3. Also, Netflix on the PS3 was fine and I even watched the same episode of a TV show that stuttered badly on the PS3. After watching the entire show on Netflix I went back to Hulu and the PS3 was still having problems. Then, after about another 10 minutes of playback hickups the PS3 seemed to get better. Maybe Sony's version of Hulu Plus (or someone's server) is getting overloaded right now since Hulu on the PS3 just went mainstream today. -

Switch Contacts off then back on then reset the device.
Hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home button down at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. -

Is there a way to view both the album and the artist name on an ipod? there are a zillion albums called "The very best of..." or obscure names like "fireflies" and until you start playing the songs you have no idea who the artist is.

U can delete it, select the supplier from free search. So that items will come in right hand side related to this vendor.
Then u can select all the items related to that vendor and then delete it.

Hi, I HATE to ask for help with this, but I HAVE looked everywhere and Google searched different wordings and have not found anything similar nor a solution to my problem! My good old iPod 4th-gen charges just fine in any wall outlet, in any house, but when I connect it to my brand new ASUS laptop that has Windows-8 and 3.0 USB ports using the charging/data cable, the charging process just keeps "blinking" BOTH the iPod and the laptop and it will not connect to ITunes and I get "A Device is Detected" message that keeps popping up and going away over and over right above the Windows desktop toolbar. When I go to control panel and select "Devices" it does show the iPod, but for only a split second and than it disappears, but than it comes back again for a split second and than it disappears again and just keeps doing that over and over and over! I have tried resetting the iPod while it is plugged into the laptop by holding the power and menu buttons, that did no good. I also tried uninstalling iTunes and any other Apple stuff listed and reinstalling it all, that did NOT work! The iPod, the laptop and iTunes ARE all fully updated! I AM using a brand new charging/data cable that I just opened up an hour ago (I've learned to keep a few brand new ones around at all times since these piece of garbage rip-off cables hardly last a week, even when you baby them!). I also tried a few old cables, they all do the same thing! I would like to get this piece of junk to connect to my new laptop, even if only once, so that I can change/delete some songs and transfer a few dozen photos,since I haven't been able to do any of that stuff since my old laptop (that NEVER had any problems connecting) died way back in May! lol. I hope somebody knows a fix or solution! Thank You!
