I've had the same problem for 3 months now, tried just about everything posted on this board and still can't get it to work. Creative really dropped the ball on this one, and they haven't even released a response to it yet as to my knowledge.

Big Problems with Vista and Audigy
Hello.
My name is Jana and I'm from Germany. This board is my last hope now.
I have big problems to use my audigy 2zs in Vista Business (32 bit).
I use the latest driver from 9.3.07.
The installation process works fine and I get no errors. But I can't start the AudioConSole . I always get an error, that no audio device was found (error message is german)?!? The device manager shows no problems and the audigy 2zs is correctly listed.
I need this AudioConSole to activate the 5. speaker settings. In the sound preferences in Vista is that not possible.
My speakers also need the creative software from cd to activate the bass, but I when I install this software and then restart, only a few programs are installed (but they don't work). I need especially the speaker settings but there is unfortunately no way to install this software.
I did this procedure at least 5, 6 or 7 times, but it always don't works.
So please can you help me?
Sry for my bad english.Hmm... Try to redownload the drivers from the website, because Creative has updated them to include a proper signature. It is possible that the drivers do not load if they are not signed, which would explain why the AudioConsole does not launch. Also, Windows Vista does the Bass redirection by itself:? If you select 5. speakers from the standard Control Panel, you will be asked whether you have satellites or full-range speakers. Selecting satellites means that the lower frequencies need to be played by the Subwoofer instead. If that still doesn't work, you can do the following:? Extract the downloaded drivers using WinRAR (or similar) (right-click and then extract). Then go to the Subfolder "Drivers\wdm\common\i386"? and run "CtPanel.exe". From there going to the speakers tab there is a "BASS-M" option...

Well. This code is 100% alright, compilation OK. In runtime, no matter what I do, inverting the generic types, modifying interfaces, whatever, the property with the first generic type defined (in this example, oid) will be wrong resolved to java.lang.Object, instead the correct java.lang.Long.

PropertyType class java.lang.ObjectAltering the order of the getter and setter in the source code seems to affect the result of Introspector!!! (ahhhhhhh)

Audigy Plat PCI Firewire port is destroying devic
I recently installed a Audigy Plat card on my PC (did not hook up the 5 /4 bay yet) and install all of the dri'ves via Creative's Autoupdate feature on this website. Once I was able to test the sound, mic, line in and all working successfully... I decided to hook up my digital camcorder. The device was not detected... which I thought was odd, however it gets worse. It now does not work in ANY PC!!!. It flashes DVIN. I then thought to try a friends camcorder, which worked perfectly right before he came to try it on this card and now his does not work either. So finally I tried to connect my ipod via the firewire and it completely locked up the IPOD.
Little background on the PC. Just built it(have built many pc's so this was nothing new, and used the Audigy in many of them). It has a p4 3.0ghz fsb800mhz chip and a 400 watt PS. It is running XP Service Pack 2.
I am in IT so you can throw whatever tips you may have at me. I have never seen this happen before and I just can't seem to figure out what is causing these devides to malfunction due to the card. Please let me know if there is a driver or anything that can fix this issue.

Are you positi've that your USB and Firewire Headers are plugged into the proper places on the card... The only thing I know of that would cause the problem your having is generally trying to plug a usb device into a port that has the other end plugged into a firewire port on the board...and vice versa.
The only other possiblities I can think of is a short in either the port or a bad cable, besides the fact the card may just be functioning improperly and it needs to be replaced.
I do know that the voltages used for USB and FireWire are different for each, and trying to plug a usb device into a firewire port and vice versa can either burn up the device or burn up your board or both.

Hello,I have a very big problem.Yesterday I bought a new HD (Maxtor 6L200MO) and i installed it. Everything was working, although the HD is S-ATA and my other dri'ves are P-ATA. My Windows XP installation was also successful, although I was wondering, because I could only format the HD with NTFS System.Well, that wasn't the real problem. The main problem is my Soundcard (Audigy 2). The installation of the driver, also with updates worked, but the sound is terrible. It scatchs and crackles, but with my old HD it didn't. The sound was pretty good with my old HD and I can't understand, how a HD is able to influence the soundcard. The whole day I tried a lot to get it work, but it didn't. I checked the speakercable, I installed and uninstalled the drivers several times in many combinations. I even installed windows several times, but the problem is still there. I also changed the preferences, but I don't know, if I checked all.Another strange thing is, that the PC identifies the soundcard in the system control as "SB Audigy 2 [B800]". But I can remember precisely, that it was C800 with the old HD.
Now I have considered that maybe the problem has something to do with the NTSF system, because I had a FAT system before. When you say scratchy, do you mean like static? Take the card out and see if there is dust on the points and in PCI slot.
Lower the WAVE and Master volume by about 5 points. ( 00% can give you a gain affect so lower to about 90% )
Cheak the plugs from speakers are clean.
IF all that fails, then uninstall everything Creative related and get driver cleaner ( go to guru3d.com and nav to the D/L section )
Remove your card from the comp and start it up with no card. Then shut down.
D/L the EAX 4 HD patch from driver D/L page here at Creative..
Put card back in.
Now, Install drivers from CD.
After this, type in run msconfig and shut down all in startup programmes. Reboot.
Install the EAX 4 HD patch.
Repeat Msconfig.
Update drivers VIA li've update.
Repeat Msconfig.
Lower WAVE and Master volume.
If all that fails, then repeat the uninstall process.
Now try a different PCI slot. 4 is the one you want to use, but try others but DO NOT USE THE PCI SLOT UNDER THE AGP SLOT! This can cause an IRQ conflict with AGP.

I've a big problem with adobe acrobat reader XI pro and I hope you can help me.
The problem is; when I past copied text from some pdf books (not all of them) it past symbols only! wherever I past it! and even if I coped that text from another pdf reader (adobe pdf reader, internet browsers, ...etc.).
This problem started to happen since yesterday when I installed adobe acrobat reader XI pro to try it before I buy it, and before that when I was using the free adobe pdf reader I was totally able to copy any text from any pdf and past it anywhere with nothing wrong.
What can I do?

I am having a big problem. I am not getting notifications from snapchat and only snapchat. I've made sure every notification setting was on and it just won't work. I have also restored my phone and deleted the app and re-downloaded it multiple times. It just wont give me my notifications. Help please.

How to load an image without a gui? big problems...
Hey guys, I usually try my best to not ask for help and figure stuff out myself. But this last week i've been having big problems with this work project.
My goal is to load images from disk, and append them to each other to create one big image.
The images are 0-9.jpg each file containing a number in it. then i create one big file with 4 numbers in it. called final.jpg.
so far i can do all this, but whenever the program is finished, the application just keeps running. the program has literally gone through all the steps... i have a system.out.println printed on the last line after the main, after the class instantiation... and still it stays running.
how do you guys load images without a gui? This program will probably be running under unix, so i can't create a (for component example)
Panel() and media track the file load... so i'm pretty much stumped
any help you guys can provide would be really incredibly helpfull at this point. I have searched these threads for a few hours without luck. I found only 1 real post related to my problem, but eventually they said use MediaTracker = new Mediatracker( new Panel() ); which i can't use. :(

One Apple ID two phones big problem.
Hi guys,
Before 6 months I bought new Iphone 4s,but it was used one day from person who sell it to me, so it already has Apple id.
I deleted user and created my user which was synced with iCloud and worked without any problem.
Before 10 I bought Iphone 5, also created my Apple ID on it and sync with my PC/ iCloud.
Yesterday I want to sell my first Iphone 4 and I did reset ( Erase all content and setting), but it did not want to wake up, so i started it with DFU mode using I tunes, and I did restore and update.
Now I am facing to bit problem, on the begging steps it says something like "this apple id cannot be used to unlock this iphone".
If I go to iCloud I can see only one device and currently its new iPhone 5, but both devices called with same name, so I am not sure is this problem.
So I have two doubts:
- I am not sure does SIM card can make this problem(on initiation phase you have to put sim in Iphone), because main is much smaller now so I using my wife SIM to finis registration Iphone 4 (iPhone 5 using smaller than iPhone4)?
- another thing It says you have to "use original apple id..", like I sad on the beginning when i bought Iphone4 it already has apple id on it, which I was deleted and configure main (afterwards this device was visible on my iCloud). So do I need to put first creaded apple id, does iPhone remembering first created or last used. If yes I have big problem because I dont have contact of user who sell it to me.
I want to add one thing, Iphone is not stolen I have warranty documentations and all profs that is not stolen.
PLEASE HELP, in my country we have awful support !Just left the Apple store with an official answer. You can have two phones one Apple ID, turn off auto updates so you don't automatically get apps on both phones. Then you need two different iCloud accounts.

If you have about 5GB or so free space on the internal hard drive, you can use your OS X Install disc to perform an Archive and Install to recover from the failed Software Update. When the computer restarts, download and run the OS X Update Combo 10.4.11 (Universal). When the Mac restarts after that, run Software Update. During all this, make sure nothing interrupts or shuts down the Mac! Note that the first start after each of these updates will take significantly longer than subsequent starts, so be very patient.
How did you back up your internal drive to the external one? Did you just drag things over in the Finder, or did you use a utility such as SuperDuper! or CarbonCopyCloner? Does the external HD show up as a bootable volume in System Preferences > Startup Disk, or using Startup Manager? -
