BIG PROBLEM!!! My iPod mini doesn't show me the songs!!!

I have a problem. When I update my iPod mini (6 GB) and add some new songs into it, it shows me in the iTunes that it was updated and the songs were added successfuly. But when I look for these songs in the iPod I can't find them in any list. The firt time it happened I restored the iPod, than updated it with the latest updater at that time and put my whole songs (including the new ones). It had been allright but later I tryed to add some other new songs the problem returned again. It showed me that the songs were added but I couldn't find them in my iPod.
What can I do to provid this annoy problem?!?

Did they show up in iTunes, with the Library selected as the source on the left side of iTunes?
Yes. I updated the iPod by iTunes with the Library selected as the source.
Where did it show them as added?
They were showen as add on my iPod list in iTunes.

Yes. They were on the list but when I checked the iPod after disconnecting it they were'nt shown on the list in the iPod.

IPod Mini doesn't show in windows (vista) as well as iTunes

When i connected my mini to laptop with latest iTune, it suggested to download later firmware and it went thru fine. after i restart my laptop, neither laptop nor iTuens detect my iPod. Device manager shows "This device cannot start. (Code 10)". Tried all possible solutions without any luck.
1. disabled enhanced USB host controllers... no use
2. tried to delete "upperfilter" and "lowerfilters" as suggested in other post... those entries are not there at all.
3. tried with older versions of iTunes... no use.
4. Tried on other desktop and laptop, same issue.
can someone suggest a fix please. Thanks a lot in advance.

Uninstall ipod and reinstall from the disk provided with ipod

My ipod shuffle doesn't show on the latest itunes

i'm trying to transfer music from my itunes to my ipod shuffle (1st/2nd gen)but despite plugging it into my Macbook Pro laptop by usb it isn't showing. The only thing showing is my iphone which i dont want to download to. Its been a very long time since I've transfered music to my shuffle (talking years) and it was working fine back then, I assume with all the upgrades of itunes something has happened to the ability to simply pug in and transfer music.
Any simple solutions or do I just bin the old shuffle.

Ipod mini doesn't stop charging the battery

i've been charging my battery for almost 2 days, but it just doesn't stop anymore....
usually it told "charged" and stopped, but it wont anymore

Did you unplug it? I know it sounds stupid and not very helpful but maybe it's just a bug that doesn't show it's done charging. I know sometimes for me I take it off of the charger while it says charging and when I plug it back it says charged.

My iPod touch doesn't show up in my macbook desktop. This prevents me from copying data into it. What can I do? It does however show up in itunes so that is not a problem.

2 Problems with iPod Mini

well, I recently encountered 2 problems with my iPod Mini.
#1- It says the battery is charged, but dies out as soon as I start to play a song
-And-
#2- (the reason I joined this forum) just about 4 minutes ago, The screen has that black Apple logo on it, but it stays there forever. I reset it, but when the logo appears, it still stays there. I plugged it into my computer, and the logo is still there. It dosent respont what so ever. I cant even turn it off. Please tell me how to fix it.

For your battery issue:
If your iPod is old, the battery is probably just worn out and needs replaced.
After about 400 charge cycles, the battery is only able to hold up to 80% of its charge. After even further charge cycles, the battery can hold less and less.

3rd parties can also replace your battery with a generic battery for lower costs. They also sell DIY kits so you can replace it yourself, and never have to send it in.
Note that those Support articles are a tad outdated, so while their information is about the same, exact number figures may be off (Example: they say battery life can last 8-12 hours. New models can last about twice to three times that.)
For your second issue: (I don't have a premade message for this :P )
It sounds like the formatting messed up or the hard drive is failing. Reset it again, and as soon as the Apple logo pops up, hold the center and Play/Pause buttons until it goes into Disk Mode (if it doesn't get into disk mode, you really have problems, likely with your motherboard). If it gets into Disk Mode, plug it into a computer and use iTunes to restore it.
Try that and let me know how that works for you.

IPod mini doesn't play ANY songs!!! Please Help

My iPod mini doesn't play any songs. It doesn't play purchased music from the iTunes Music Store, ripped CDs, or ANYTHING. On the iPod I go to play a song but the music time counter remains on 0:00. When it does this faint sounds of the song trying to start can be heard, but then a lot of static comes up. A song did start once but it stoped at 7 seconds. I've tried the 5 Rs and everything I can think of! Please Help!

All the iOS devices compatible (iPhone 4 and later, iPad 2 and later, and 5G iPod touch) with iOS 7 have at least 512 MB of memory. The 4G only has 256 MB

i have tried this new charset combination specifically for iphone and i m waiting for response from sweden alliance.....i hope this works fine as iso works great for 8-bit characters.

Problem installing ipod mini hardware error msg

Installed software ok but when I connect ipod mini to USB 2.0 I get "Found new hardware wizard. There was a problem installing this hardware: apple ipod usb device. An error occurred during the installation of the device. One of the filter drivers installed for this device is invalid." If I click finish I get a pop up at bottom saying" A problem occurred during installation. Your new hardware might not work properly." Click out of that and my ipod and itunes works ok. How do I correct this nusance? Tried reloading 3 times now, same results. Brand new to ipod.

hey, i finally figured out how to do it! i had the same frustrating problem as you until just a moment ago : ) This is what you need to do:
1) Reset your iPod Mini by holding down on the Menu and the Select button until the Apple appears.
2) Plug it into your computer, windows and mac should be the same for that
3) Go into the iPod Updater and update the software : ) should work... if you need anything else, just ask or go to the following:

New iPod nano doesn't show on iTunes and I'm tired of it.

Since Feb. 24, I've tried and tried to put music on my new iPod nano with no success, and I am extremely sick of it. I have no idea what I'm doing, but I know for some reason the ipod service doesn't show up and now I cannot connect my older iPod to iTunes. When i try to repair it, it says the service can't be stopped. My mom spent $200 on this iPod and I'm getting in trouble for not being able to put music on it. I've spent hours uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes and trying to stop the stupid service and I cannot take it anymore. I've always had issues with iTunes and put up with it but this is ridiculous. The ipod shows on the computer but obviously doesn't work on iTunes. Can anyone please help?

I tried to stop the ipod service so I could plug the iPod and then restart it but it said error: the ipod service could not be stopped on the local computer. Error 1053: it said something about control and the service not being stopped in a timely fashion.

I think that is happening is that the microphone is on during this recording. If you play the music through the iPhone speakers, it will record this sound, albeit at very poor quality. If you say anything (or laugh uproariously as I did while watching the app in action, then that, too, get recorded.
I am still looking for the solution we all want, which is to save the audio in reasonable quality.
Anyone out there with some ideas?

My ipod mini doesn't mount in iTunes

When I connect my ipod to my pc and launch iTunes, it isn't mounted. The do not disconnect sign is viewed on the ipod mini. I've tried the 4 r's without success and when I tried the restore function the error message "firmware update failure. Disk write error" appeared. The ipod is viewed on my pc as drive E though. Please help or advise.
