Big problems with updating the new Firmware to my Zen To
Hi, I'm new and not sure, if this problem has occured to other users too.
I wanted to update my Zen Touch. I'm trying this now for over month. My Zen Touch had to been send to Creative two times already and as it looks now, I will have to send it to them for a third time.
Everytime I start the firmware update, the Zen touch crashes and is not recognized by the PC anymore. No way, to fix it from here. I have tried the AutoUpDate option and the manual one. Both with the same result.
Last time I send the Zen Touch to Creative I have asked them, if they couldn't install the new firmware, before sending it back to me. Unfortunatly they didn't and now I have the same problem again.
It dri'ves my crazy! I would like to have the newest firmware, but obviously I cannot get it installed from my PC.
Did anybody of you have this problem too? Or does anybody know a way to solve the problem. I don't want to send it back in. I already couldn't use it now for 4 or 6 weeks. I'm realy pretty angry.
Are you trying to install the v2 PlayForSure firmware?
Ordinarily the process should work unless there is some connection issue with your PC. You might want to try the process on another suitably specced PC, but it depends what state your player is in now.

Problem with updating the PC Updater software
Good evening (from Germany). I have a problem with updating my Nokia Software Updater. I can download the setup and I can execute this. But when the installation starts (0%) a error message appears. It's a problem with Windows Installer but I don't know how to solve the problem. Here is a picture with the exactly error message:

There is a problem with using the new Hotmail attachment buttons with firefox 3.6.8
I use firefox 3.6.8 browser and was unable to use the new attach file buttons in the newest version of hotmail. .
I sent a help request to microsoft and got back a 'generic' answer that the new hotmail works with all browers; ie, safari, chrome and firefox 3.0+.
Well, that is not exactly true. Because I then troubleshot the problem by opening hotmail in ie vice firefox I was able to attach multiple files (pics/documents) with no problem.
I then went back to firefox and still had the same problem.
The mouse pointer just hovers over each icon where there should be a button and no clicking is there to be clicked....so, there is no way to attach.

In any case, it's possible that you are having a problem with some Firefox add-on that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal?

Big problem with put the same received dataSource on two different panels

I have a big problem, but first what have I done:
I am writting application that is based on AVReceiver2 and AVTransmit2 from Sun help.
I have modified AVReceiver2 to only receive one stream - video stream.
I show received video on scrollPane, but I want to show the same video on second scrollPane in the same time. I have read about cloning dataSource, but I don't know how to modify that code to make it work.

So I done some kind of switch:
- when user change tab, I change vievport from one panel to another. This works gr8, but I need to record some received video on the same time when user watch it.
I find some code to record - this works on single machine, but now, when I have cloned dataSource I supposed to be able to record received video, but guess what: it doesn't work.

The problem with updating the application in Google Play.
The problem lies in the fact that the theme was created in version 0.0.1. After the release of version 0.0.3, I decided to update the application, but loaded in the Google Play APK, encounters an error: APK version number must be greater than 1429807993. Is it possible to somehow fix it? I would not want to download the theme again, since this will be reflected in statistics and confuse consumers.
Hi, Yes it is possible, Navigate to .Project folder > open metadata file with notepad, edit the version to higher one and save it. Then open the theme creator and build it to create an apk. Regards,Shreyas.

5800 problem after updating to new firmware
When, I first bought my phone the icon on the phone were all unbranded but I did a firmware update and they've all been replaced by t-mobile ones. eg the internet icon has now become "web 'n' walk". How do I get the old unbranded icons back?
Because once its released, and sent to the operators, the operators want to do and add some personalizations of their own, which could take time given the fact that the firmware is already stable and ready for use. The operator firmware after modding would go through another series of stability tests (AFAIK) which lengthens the process, not to mention depending on what the operator wants to add or remove from the feature list. Which means that the operators whims take a lot of time to add.

I think, the apple company are producing and sell only their own country or their ownself, not over the world. And in the other hand, I want to ask Apple Company about their market policy as marketing strategy or size of marketing. How about it? How did you think? Only your own or for world. I like one word as MARKETING IS WATER. Where can't water go? Such as my small country have a lot of people are using apple products a lot as iPhone, iPad, iPod and apple laptop. Cambodia is my small country with much rich families. They can use a good product or high class product, high tenology. Most of products is Apple. But they always have many bad comments and bad problem with Apple products. WHY? The problems such as Lock code, cann't conected with other, hard to find or buy, no Safety, no warranty world wide, wifi, charger, hot during 3G conected, ...etc. hope, these my own idea is looked for all the Apple customers around the world. Is anyone else having problems with SMS the new IOS update.
When trying to send an SMS sometimes it just hangs with the circle going round and around or it will not let me hit the send button at all and I have to shut my phone down completely and restart it, then do the message all over again. Very annoying especially if the message typed out is a long one.
After the second attempt to get this to DL and install and getting the same thing
ie DL finished, Install Done and nothing happening it has occured to me that maybe Apple has some restrictions on upgrading from Snow Leopard.
…but as usual, doesn't say and hasn't programmed the Installer to correctly parse the environment and provide feedback.

Thanks for the file and the screenshots. A couple of remarks.
Try to update your BIOS. You currently have version 05.04. There may be a newer version available, although the file date is 05/19/2009, so it may be current. Just check it please.
You have ASUS Six Engine running. I would disable that from starting. I never found a use for it, I prefer to use my own judgement.
Here are your results in comparison to my score, while running at a clock speed of 3441 MHz, so about 30% faster.
As you can see, your CPU results are in line with mine, considering the 30% difference in clock speed. The same applies to your memory mark, nothing wrong with that either. You did not test the CD speed, and that can lead to a lower PassMark rating. Rerun the test with a CD or DVD in the drive. That may help.
Your video card is causing serious problems. The speed of the video card is not really CPU clock speed dependent. Your results are very disappointing. First thing to check is whether you have the latest drivers. Your 2D Graphics results are about 1/3-rd of my results and the 3D results are about half of what I achieved. This is rather surprising, since I would have expected the nVidia card to be much better than shown here.
Your disk results are disastrous for the final benchmark result, but on the other hand, not unexpected. Your results are done on a single disk in comparison to my 12 disk array, which is around 10 times faster, even with parity calculations.
To summarize, your video card is the big bottleneck here. Check for new drivers, altough based on the date of the drivers, it seems unlikely there are newer ones. An alternative might be to temporarily reduce your screen resolution and rerun the test while using something like 960 x 600. This will possibly lead to a higher score, although that is faking it a bit. -
Huge thanks - Mac problems with Type A new firmwar...
Since I got the upgraded Type A firmware on my HomeHub 3 its messing my wifi on my macbook pro. Every other device is fine, the macbook works fine on other connections.
The connections stalls for 30sec or so, disconnects all games, apps etc.
Then comes back on.
Spent 45mins onto India tech support, the girl had no idea what firmware was and kept blaming my macbook. Ive worked for o2 broadband support, i know what the problem is the HomeHub. Problems started 23rd Nov when i got upgrade.
I email and a lovely lady has a Type B on the way next day, took 2 emails.

Problem with resizing the new Pages window
I can't get my Pages Window any smaller, it says (if I use Window Tidy for example) that the window size was restricted.
With the old Pages I used to have two Pages-windows open right next to each other, so I coul work on two documents at the same time. Now that i can't resize them anymore (only making them bigger is possible) they don't fit on the screen anymore.
Anyone having the same problem, maybe even a solution?

The App Store is probably the best place as it is public and a bad review has more impact than private entreaties to Apple.

You can use Time Machine (included in OSX) with an external hard drive. See the following:

It is always a good idea to have a second backup, (usually a clone, that is bootable) on a second external hard drive, using something like Carbon Copt Cloner, or SuperDuper.

How do I move all my ipad photos to icloud? Since the last software update none of my ipad pictures upload to the cloud. i just want to empty all the picture to the cloud and free up the ipad.
