Big troubles for playing video

Hello everybody !
I have an ipod nano chromatic for 1 week and I've always the same problem :
When I try to play video on my ipod, the screen freeze !
I'm sure that all my videos are correctly encoded in mp4 file format. Moreover, I've just installed the new software update 1.0.3 but the problem is still there...:(
I've searched answers on the Internet 'nd I've seen that there was a big problem with this news Ipod model...!
Anybody have one solution for me ?

3D gaming performance could be affected by CPU, Video Card performance, Ram or even hard disk speed. In aspect of software, you could adjust video settings in game and sometimes old video driver could also causes these issue so it is hard to tell.
If you don’t have a discrete graphics card, The CPU will do the job instead and it also could cause high CPU usage.

The WTK includes a video player example. I would start by looking there. In addtion SE and Nokia (if I remember correctly) both have video examples on their developer web sites.

The iPod TV out only works for aps that support TV out. The description of Hulu Plus only states that iiPad supports HDMI video out (SD only)

Are iMacs good for playing video games like Skyrim?

I'm most likely to be getting a baseline iMac and I wanted to know if these computers are good for playing video games such as Skyrim before I get rid of my current PC. Also, are these games even compatable with a Mac. I've heard rumors that you can't play these kind of games on a Mac.

Yes, please read the Boot Camp FAQ for additional information. You will need to buy a license of Windows 7 and once your get the iMac run an App called Boot Camp Assistant and follow the on-screen instructions to install Windows. I have had this happen to me on 3GS, 4 and 4s. Usually the solution is one of the following:
1- If your volume indicator says headphones even though they are not plugged in, then:
Stick your headphones into the headphone jack and then remove quickly.
2. If that does not work Power your phone off. Then when restarting Reset the phone by pressing the home button and the power button at the same time until the apple logo appears.
3. Make sure you have not chosen to send audio to an Airplay device such as Apple Tv.

Trouble with Playing Video Files

I have a new macbook pro and I am having trouble playing video files. It seems like it is having trouble with the size of the file. I need to get this figured out because I will be doing a lot of work with video including using final cut to edit. Any suggestions for me to speed up video play?

How good is 5220 for playing video?

I want to buy 5220 mostly for for watching full-length movies and music videos on the go. Is it suitable for this purpose? I read somewhere else that playing videos on this phone gives a slow fps. Just want to confirm before the actual purchase.

If watching videos is a big thing for you then perhaps you should be considering the N95-2 or N96 for the bigger screen and memory.

No QuickTime support for playing video?

I have an iPhone 3G and a iPhone 3GS, I might just have never noticed it before but I recently tried to play a .mov file on my server via an HTML file (that plays on my PC and Mac) through iPhone's Safari with no sucess. I find it rather interesting given the 3GS capability to record Video and the iPhone being able to play video from Itunes and Youtube that it doesn't seem to support Apple's native Quicktime format to play .mov files from the internet.
Am I doing something wrong or missing something? I have 3.0 OS on both phones.

The iPhone includes QuickTime support - you can watch videos via Apple's website and other websites with video provided via QT, but the video must be in the proper format for the iPhone. YouTube converted all YouTube video for the iPhone's YouTube app in QuickTime format or in a video format that is supported with the iPhone via QT.

I am assuming that by pause you mean for the video to quit
playing when you're changing tabs (the default flexstore "support"
video behavior is to keep playing even when the view has
changed-not very user friendly). Or do you mean to pause in the
literal sense so that you can come back to the same spot in the
video after you've selected a different tab?
If it is the former, specify a FocusEvent within the
ProductSupport.mxml component, so that when it loses focus as you
select a different tab, it simply calls a handler to stop the
video. I haven't looked at the Flex store code in detail, so your

Trouble with playing videos (audio!)

Hi, I recently bought a new iPod and wanted to upload some videos, but somehow iTunes doesn't acknowledge the fact that I want to import them. Surprisingly it happens only to certain movies (usually the longest ones). And then there's the other problem with audio - when I convert the selected movie to fit the iPod and whatnot, the sound magically disappears. Both in iTunes and the iPod.
HELP anyone? Please?

QuickTime Control Panel / Advanced tab.
Check the box to use "Safe mode" for the video.
Quit and relaunch QuickTime Player and try the file again.

Software for playing videos from the Web

As a regular vistor of all sports websites especially, as well as your funnyvideoclips site etc, I am horrified that my N95 won't play any videos. Why can't the video player used for watching movies I've actually taken be used. Even on BBC's site I cannot view interviews or actual sports footage.
I'd be grateful to know what my options are and in the most basic of terms as I'm not technically proficient - or good at spelling.

Open the Video Center, and go select the optional Internet feeds. More and more are being added from time to time.

Also use Podcasting application to subscribe to Video Podcasts.
Some websites that stream in RealPlayer mode can be watched with N95. But if they stream Flash (FLV) or WMV then it's a no go.

Big problem with playing videos on Vista

I have a big problem with iTunes and Quick Time on Vista. I know other people in the german cmmunity who have it, too.
If ich want to play a video with iTunes or Quickt Time my PC starts wokring very heavy. Then the programm shut down. Sometimes there is a bluescreen, too.
In iTunes it is enough just to leftclick on a video an the programm is freezing without an error message.
I bought a new iPod classic some days ago. With this error i can't use it and 350 € would be thrown away.
I installed both prgramms again and again but that's no use.

Seems to be a hard drive issue. I sometimes get the blue screen of death or a message that one of my 2 raid0 hard drives is starting to fall down. If I restart the PC (3 seconds on the power button... since iTunes blocked everything) and declare the hard drive is OK using the Intel Matrix soft provided by Dell on their website, everything is back to normal (as long as I don't use iTunes). Problem only occurs with iTunes. I am currently doing a backup of my complete HDD to an external drive. I'll try moving my iTunes library to this drive and see if it works better from a non raid 0 drive. Will keep you informed. But an external drive is always VERY slow compared to an internal so it can only be a degraded mode solution to the problem. Apple please do something!!!

Volume control when using Apple TV for playing video

Hi,
I'm using a pair of active speakers with no built in volume control with my Apple TV. When using the ATV for streaming audio (for example Spotify) I can control the volume with the iOS device I'm using as the source, but not while streaming video. Why is that, and, is there anything I can do about it?

does the sound on the pad work for face time when you are using in on the pad, with no apple tv involved?
If so - apple tv uses a ton of resources. Facetime uses a ton of resources. facetime over the TV is hit or miss.
doulble tap the home button, and see what is in the rask bar. Close off everything else by touching and holding an icon until they jiggle, the close them by touchinmg the minus sign.

Big Trouble for the CS-MARS

Currently, I have some trouble in CS-MARS, and hope anyone can give me some suggestion.
Recently, we upgrade the IDS from McAfee 4.x -> 5.x. However, it was not on the support list of the CS-MARS.
The way to solve it was to create a new custom device in the CS-MARS 6.x. However, there are over 4000 event types need to be associated for the devices.
Therefore, does any easy way to do it?

There is no easy/automated method to add those 4,000 custom events to CS-MARS. It may be possible to lower the number by creating broad matching criteria to summarize multiple different McAfee events into a single CS-MARS event. You may also want to consider creating event parsers for only those McAfee events that are deemed most critical to your environment.

Big Trouble in all Video-Applications after updating to CC 2014

After updating my CC to CC (2014), the new Video-Applications (Pl,Pr,Sg,Me) doesn't work.
The other apps (Ps,Ai...) are ok. Ae starts, but it runs very faulty.
Pl,Pr,Sg,Me doesn't even start.
Did you really tested this software, before you published it?!
I work on OSX 10.9.3 with Blackmagic Video-Hardware. German Version.
