Bigger fonts in REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY

Hi Everyone,
i am using REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY to display an ALV report. I want to make the fonts bigger in the display. Can anyone tell me how to do this?

BIGGER FONT IN PR1.1 UPDATE

I have been told that the PR1.1 update comes with a bigger font although is still non adjustable. It does help in the readibility department in view of my aging eyes. Can anybody with PR1.1 installed in their N9 confirm this? Thank you & looking to all your replies soon. Cheers mate!

Pretty sure that I posted N9 v Lumia 800 font comparision recently but no noticeable difference upon N9 between PR1.0 & PR1.1 as far as I am concerned, although both these devices are woefully inadequate when it comes to accessibility and however much iPhone is slated upon this forum it at least addresses these issues as per screenshot:

How to keep the resized, bigger, font size while browsing back and forth in one window?

I´m a newbie with Firefox. I like to use a bigger font size as my eyesight is not as good as before. There is one problem with Firefox: the font size goes back to smaller every time I return to the previous page. Also when the font is bigger I have to draw the page to the left and to the right to be able to read the text. I did not have this kind of a small nuisance with Opera. Help needed.

Bigger Fonts on Ipad Mini

I need to get bigger font sizes on Non-System Apps on my Ipad Mini.
I know Ipad IOS has the ability of changing sizes on system apps like web browsers and mail.
But I need to be able to globally enlarge fonts for a visually impaired user.
The zoom feature doesn't solve my problem.
is there an app for what I need to globally enlarge fonts on non system apps like "Facebook"???

It may be more useful to use voiceover. I use it to navigate, read mail, Browse, etc. It works in many apps. I do not know about Facebook. The iPad can be set to turn voiceover on and off with 3 taps of the home button.

HT5661 I just dowloaded iOS7 to my phone. Unfortunately, it does not allow me to increase my font size beyond 12 or 13 size. Is there a way to get a bigger font size?

Any ideas regarding the font size challenge with the new iOS7 program? On my old phone I could set my font size to 14 or bigger. Doing so allows me to read my text without having to use my classes.

I'm not aware of this being a enhancement in SQL Server 2012.
To help you in the meantime, did you realise that you can filter the Stored Procedures and Tables that appear in Object Explorer? if you right click on these nodes in Object Explorer and select Filter | Filter Settings, you can create a filter to limit
the list of Stored Procedures and Tables that appear in their respective lists.
Example 1
If you were looking for a stored procedure called usp_HardToFind, you would enter the following:
Property = Name
Operator = Contains
Value = Hard (or dome other value you're looking for)
This would list all stored procedures with a name containing Hard
Example 2
If you were looking for a tabled called ComplexTableName, you would enter the following:
Property = Name
Operator = Contains
Value = Complex (or dome other value you're looking for)
This would list all tables with a name containing Complex
I know it's not the same as being able to change font sizes however it may still assist you

Seeing bigger fonts in mail reply

When I open my mail application, I see everything in small fonts. I dont use a browser for gmail since its reply box is too small and causes errors for serious emailing. In the mail app, if I do cmd++++ I see everything bigger. But when I press reply, then I am back to small fonts. If I do cmd++++ nothing happens. Then if I select everything using cmd+a, and then do cmd+++++ then the actual fonts and not the display gets bigger and the recipient gets an ugly mail with large lettering. If I do cmd+options+8, then everything becomes bigger in display but also blurry and ugly and it is not a pleasant working experience. How does one set the right defaults? Many thanks.

There is no one permanently on station so to speak, to answer questions immediately. So it isn't realistic to post the same question twice in a matter of minutes.
I don't use the Lion OS so I can't be sure of the solution but you should update it to 10.7.4(or 5) if it is still available, for it may be the OS as Lion is on its last legs now. Do you have the RAM memory to go up to Yosemite?
In any event you should check out Mail > preferences > fonts ... which may help.

Zooming in Safari and bigger fonts

Their are times I want to make text larger in Safari than it'll seem to allow. A good example of this is when using the mobile version of Google Reader. That site doesn't zoom at all and as far as I'm aware their is no way to make the font size a bit bigger. I'd like to make it a bit bigger for easier reading.
Is their a way to either enlarge the font size (akin to command-+ on a web browser on my Mac like Safari or Firefox) or to force a site to zoom even when it is displaying at "the proper size" already?

No it won't. Not on all sites. You cannot zoom forever. Try the mobile Google Reader Mobivle version <http://www.google.com/reader/m/view/>. You can't do an expand (reverse) pinch and have it zoom. At least it does not for me.

If Allen's suggestion doesn't lead to the solution and you have trouble reading what's on screen, you can always zoom in and out. On the Mac, this is made very easy:
On your keyboard, scroll up and down with your mouse while keeping the [ctrl]-key pressed on your keyboard.
If this doesn't work, you might need to enable this feature first.
To that purpose: go to: “ apple menu> System Preferences > Accessibility” (if your language is not English and you’re confused about this, it’s on the fourth row and looks like a blue roadsign with a white person in it)
Once there, find “Zooming” in the left column and click on it.
Find the checkbox in front of “Use scroll gesture with modifier keys to zoom:”
Below that, it should say

Final note: apple encourage people to use zoom instead of making fonts bigger and distorting the user interface.

Printing a Dashboard in pdf format with bigger font size ?

When we are trying to print a Dashboard with few reports in pdf format, the font size seems to be very small in the print, and it is not readable.
Is there a way where in we can make the pdf's print a bit larger?

Yes, at last I managed to change the look and feel of the generated PDF, including the font.
The attributes of all the objects that can be affected in the pdf output are kept in 2 .fst files: for general attributes in pdfstyle.fst and for pivottable attributes in pivot.pdf.
These 2 files are present for every skin, like Oracle_10 and Siebel77.
Try a global find and replace of 0.75pt to 4.0pt and 8pt to 20pt in pivot.fst. Save the file, restart the presentation server, log in again and try print to pdf of an existing pivot table. It will have thick borders and a big font.
I still do not understand that the same attributes are kept in 2 different files. For a color-change it is necassary to change the file views.css and the .fst file(s).

How can I make the font bigger in Creative Cloud?

Since I saw no other posts come up in the search, I need to know if I can make the Creative Cloud app itself have a bigger font. I finally found where someone had shown how to do it for Photoshop. (This is due to the fact I am on a Toshiba laptop with an Ultra 4K screen, resolution at 3840 x 2160.) Basically I can barely read any of the app names to know what is available to install.

Bigger UI font for Lightroom?

Is there a way to get the Lightroom UI scale up (use bigger fonts and upsize controls)?
I'm using a display with quite high resolution (>140dpi) and the fonts in Lightroom are excruciating small to read.
Since Lightroom is ignoring the upscaling of the windows OS, is there a different way to get the UI to upscale?

The second trick is for Lightroom 1.1, and is complete revamp instead of just resizing. I don't see how this would be useful.

Making the font in the output window bigger

You know when you run a console application and you're looking at the output in the output window at the bottom, the typeface is a little small. Is there a way to change that to a bigger font?

I don't think there is a way to make just the font in the log window bigger - but you can increase the size of the font used in JDeveloper by editing the ide.properties file.

My signature files were set to use a Helvetica 12 point font, and I have also tried an Arial 12 point font, but when I email to users who all use outlook (at different sites, and not all on exchange) the email shows up with a much bigger font.

Font issue between Reports Designer and Report Output

Hi.
I've succesfully migrated several reports from 6i to 10g (10.1.2.0.2) with and without parameter form. However, I have the following font issue:
- When report is run from Reports Designer, font is kept.
- When report is run from a forms module (through rwserver on the same machine, that is not really from an application server, but using Oracle BC4J or Developer Suite enviroment) the report output is different. In this case a bigger font is displayed and occasional truncation happens for some fields.
The question is: How can i avoid this difference in font behaviour?. Is it font.ali related?. How come this happen on the same machine(Windows XP)? These reports are to be deployed on Linux, where reasonably, and font machine is expected to happen.
Font used: Arial (Occidental) 9

this might be an issue with the printer that is associated also, and the permissions to the printer that you might have..
login to the application server machine and restart the reports server as an admin..try running the reports via the URL..i have a feeling that this issue might be somethiing to do with the permission(s) to the printer from your AS machine
