Bilingual title frame in forms 6i

I want title frame in french when the user speak french and title frame in english when the user speak english. I can have bilingual label for item and windows without problem, I use the set property. For the frame I don't find any set property command. I use field for the frame, the problem I have is when I want to display that field, I want to have the same color then the frame behind the field (something like transparent), I cannot use color background for the field because some users have dark blue frame and others users have light blue frame. How can I do it? Thanks for help.

Gordon, I'm pretty sure this is actually outside the realms of Forms since the Window Manager is controlled by the O/S and so the only way you can set this is via the PC desktop (there is nothing exposed in Set_Window_Property that can do this).
Hope this helps.

  • How can I edit a black title frame?

I'm now just experimenting with 8 short clips, trying to learn something about editing. Instead of using any of the "fun" title frames in PrE10, I want black opening and closing title frames. I placed these frames in my movie with the place holder Add Text in the center. Even though I select the Add Text and try to replace it with the text I want, the Add Text remains. I've tried everything. Can someone give me a step-by-step way to insert and edit black opening and closing titles with white text.
One more thing. I bought a new HP computer (Windows 7, 8 RAM, 1TB hard disk) with PrE and Photoshop Elements preinstalled. I wonder if these are the full programs or just scaled down versions. In the control panel I see that PrE is 1.23 GB; Photoshop is 2.59 GB.

    Tommy,
To get a black background in a Title, there are a couple of ways to achieve it.
If the Title is placed on the Timeline, with nothing below it, i.e. on Video Track 1, and nothing above it, the background will show black. What we see as "black" in the Titler, is really Transparent, but if there are no pixels below that Title, it WILL be black, when one Exports/Shares.
If there are videos below the Title, say a Video, or Still Image (Title would be on a higher Video Track), but we want the black to appear below the Text, blanking out the material below that Title, then we can first create Black Video (from the New Item button in the Project Panel - slightly different locations per versions of PrE), place that on Video Track 2, and the Title on Video Track 3. The Duration and placement of that Black Video would match up perfectly with the Title. Now, there will be black behind the Text, blanking out any Video below it. Another method would be to create a Filled Shape that fills the full Frame, and set its Fill to black. Then Text would be added in that same Title, above the black Filled Shape. This has the benefit of keeping both the black background and the Text in one Title, so only the placement and the Duration of the Title has to be considered - one does not have to adjust both the Black Video and the Title - they are combined into one Asset.
Now, if you are still seeing "Add Text," there are two issues, that I can think of to cause this:
When you went to edit that Template, you did NOT Select the Add Text placeholder, but instead, clicked with the Type Tool, and basically created a second Text Object, above that placeholder Text Object. You did not really edit the "Add Text."
You have two Titles, where one is the Template with the "Add Text" placeholder Text, and the other with the Text that you did edit.
When you open the Title Template into the Titler (the Title editor window), there are two ways to Select that "Add Text" placeholder Text. One can use the Selection Tool (the arrow), to click within the area of that placeholder Text. When you do, you will see a Bounding Box form around that Text Object, indicating that it has been Selected. From that point, one can make adjustments with the Handles on the Bounding Box, or they can then go to the Type Tool (the T), and edit the placeholder Text. The second is to use the Type Tool, and then click, or click+drag in the placeholder Text, to highlight all, or portions of that "Add Text" placeholder Text.
The first method is useful if, for instance, one needed to edit just a letter in existing Text, as it's usually easier to isolate that single character, or characters. OTOH, if one clicks in the correct spot, within the existing Text, with the Type Tool, a step is saved.
This article goes into more detail on Titles, and also has some links to tutorials on using Titler: http://forums.adobe.com/message/4976998#4976998
Note: Some of those tutorials are for Premiere Pro (mostly CS 6), so the look of the Titler WILL be different from those in PrE, and a very few functions might be demonstrated, but unavailable in PrE. However, the vast majority of the instructions rely on the general mechanics of Titler, and those are the same in all versions of Premiere - they might just look a bit different.
Good luck, and please report your progress.

  • How to change/set the browser title from web forms (XP platform with SP2)

I am running Form9i, I have set the browser windows title from Web Forms dynamically by using following method. However, when my PC has changed to XP, the function seems not work. Does anybody have same problem and how to solve it? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Add the Javascript code to your baseHTML file. For example,
if you are using the basejini.htm:
    <HEAD><TITLE>%pageTitle%</TITLE>
    <script language="javascript1.2" type="text/javascript1.2">
    function Change(a) {    document.title=a;    } </script>
    </HEAD>
In web Forms , call the javascript function with WEB.SHOW_DOCUMENT built.
    For Example the following code set the browser title with username . web.show_document('javascript:Change('||'"'|| get_application_property(USERNAME)||'"'||')','_self');
    Best Regards,
    Bowie

    Dear Frank,
Thanks for your reply. Can you tell me in detail which built-in function in Webutil can set value in browser title ?
Btw, is it possible for me to set parameter "separateFrame=True" in formsweb.cfg and set the form window title by using SET_WINDOW_PROPERTY(FORMS_MDI_WINDOW,TITLE,v_msg_string)?
    Best Regards,

  • Top and bottom margins to be inside the frame and form should less cluster

    Hi All,
In my application we have created nearly 10 regions and for each region i have created sub regions with No templates. Here are the deatils below.
I need to display two regions side by side with borders, so what i have done is

    given as <table border="1"><tr><td>
    2. Followed by region as #What with Wizard region as "Page template body(1. items below region content) and nothing given under header and fotter.
    3. Followed by reagion as #Region Middle with No template with Display point as "Page template body (1. items below region content) and Header and footer i
    have as </td><td>
    4. Followed by region as #where with Wizard region as "Page template body(1. items below region content) and nothing given under header and fotter.
    5. Folowed by region as #Region End with No template with Display point as "Page template body (1. items below region content) and Header and footer i have
    given as </td></tr><tr><td>
Simiallry followed by rest of regions by creating dummy regions and placing the <tr> and <td> in Header and Footer.
Now users are asking me to have insde the frame and form shoul dbe less cluster.
Can suggestiosn on this who we need to achieve.
    Thanks,
    Anoo..

'File' > 'Page Setup' is used to alter the page margins when you need to print the email. It is not used to create a Template email nor to change the overall theme used in the Thunderbird user interface.
To add a theme to the overall Thunderbird window, you can choose
    * either a Windows theme via Control Panel > Personalization >Theme
    * or download a theme Add-on, there is a huge range here: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/themes/
    such as : https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/addon/balloons/?src=ss
If you are looking to create a Template email, then you open a new Write message, design the email, enter a Subject so that you can easily locate the email and click on 'File > Save as > Template or click on Save button and choose 'Template' from the options. then the email is saved in the Templates folder. To use, you click on Templates folder and double click on the email to open in a new Write message. then compose and send as normal. The original email will be saved in Templates folder for reuse.

  • Discoverer Plus Title frame height is too small

The Discoverer Plus default title frame height is too small to display more than a couple of lines of the report titles without scrolling. Discoverer Viewer displays the entire title area. Is there any way to increase the default height of the title frame in Plus?
    Thanks, Jim

There is a default hieght that the title frame occupies in Discoverer Plus. If I remember, the title frame by default will not use more than 15% of the available vertical space in the Plus window - again, not sure if this includes the browser chrome or not. You can drag and increase the size of this title frame such that it occupies more of the available screen real estate.
In Viewer, since the title is rendered as HTML - it will simply expand to show its entire contents.
    thanks

  • Drawing Frames on forms

    Dear all
First of all I would like to Thank Engineer Francois Degrelle for his great efforts. Francois has created a java bean that draw frame on forms on runtime. this is the demo
    http://www.4shared.com/file/qAowkMhD/frames.html
the demo contains a form and jar file
the demo works fine in case the direction of the form is LEFT_TO_RIGHT
my application form is Bi lingual. User can modify the Direction on runtime to be RIGHT_TO_LEFT
the X position of the frame is not correct when changing the Form direction on runtime.
    this is my form

    Can any one help me.
    Thanks in advance

    Hello and thank you,
<p>Concerning the Java Beans grouped on this site, please do not ask questions on this forum. Send an email at [email protected] or ask the question on the dedicated forum</p>
Anyway, I have to confess that none of the beans I have created and stored on this site are tuned to work with Right to Left orientation :(

  • How do I pick the, er, title frame of a clip uploaded to .Mac/MobileMe?

Sorry for the vague topic title, but I'm not sure what the correct term is. Maybe this picture will explain the problem:
    !http://idisk.mac.com/charlie.whitfield/Public/Pictures/Skitch/iWeb-20080718-231 737.jpg!
This was created in iWeb by adding a link to a clip created in iMovie '08 which was published to .Mac/MobileMe. I added it to an iWeb page using:
Insert / .Mac Web Gallery / clipname
It doesn't look good, does it? It plays fine, but the half-baked title frame (somebody tell me what the correct term is!) seems to have been chosen arbitrarily and I can't figure out how to change/fix it.
So my question is: at what point is the frame that ends up represeting the published clip chosen? How do I manually select a frame that would better represent the clip in question?

So my question is: at what point is the frame that ends up represeting the published clip chosen?
Most applications default to frame based on a fixed amount of time from the beginning of the file (e.g., iTunes). Since iWeb has a "Poster Frame" slider selection tool, it appears to default to either the first frame in the clip or a "pre-defined" poster frame already formally set. Unfortunately, the built-in slider does not appear to work (or at least I've never been able to get it to work on my system).
How do I manually select a frame that would better represent the clip in question?
I personally use QT Pro to do this. Basically, you simply slide the playhead to the approximate frame you desire and then use the Left and right arrows to locate the exact frame you wish and select the "Set Poster Frame" View menu option. For those who don't have QT Pro, there are alternatives. My favorite in that case would be to import the file into iTunes where you can locate the frame you wish to make the "poster frame" in the same way described for QT Pro. To set the frame in iTunes, however, you simple "Command-Click" the iTunes preview window to activate the "contextual" menu and select the "Set Poster Frame" option there. The file along with its designated poster frame can then be imported to iWeb for publishing to you web site/page.

  • Frames on form

    Hi All,
What I am trying to do is create a frame on form so that its look likes all related or same group fields are together. For example “Internet option” windows in IE
    Sagar

It would help if you could provide more information on what you want to do.
You would normally use the &lt;fieldset&gt; element to group related items in an HTML form. If all the related items are in a single APEX region and you just want the kind of appearance you describe in the IE window, you can use a region template that wraps the form in a fieldset.
However, if you're talking about grouping items within a region, note that APEX does not (yet?) allow developers fine granular control over the HTML elements used to lay out form items - the engine only generates form elements using a table-based model. There's a relevant discussion about using fieldset in this way in enhancement request apex 4.0: fieldset. I've been looking at the Display As Text item workaround described here: there appear to be problems with it generating invalid HTML.

  • Change title for Adobe form for PO in subsequent print of the form

    Hi experts,
I am printing PO output using a customized adobe form using me21.I have a requirement that if the PO has been printed once any subsequent print should print with change in the title. How to achieve this.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hello ,
You can identify whether a PO is output for display or for actual O/P using the Tcode ME9f.
SAP identifies this by a parameter in nast
To check whether it is PO modification or new print
      IF nast-aende = 'X'.
        g_mod = 'X'.
      ENDIF.
Through Me9f , you have 2 buttons 'Display Message' & 'Output message' . If you press Output message the actual Print command is triggered and in the driver program of PO you get value of AENDE as 'X'.
You can identify whether it is PO creation or PO change.
Also with customization in SPRO for the changed elements ,you can track the changes done in PO using table t166t.
    regards,
    Radhakrishnan

  • Is there a way you can display a persons title from a form in a workflow notification?

I have created a normal form using the form builder and of course you have to use the title, first name and last name etc.
Now everything works fine and the details are sent to the database and an email goes to the customer BUT with the
workflow notification that goes to the Admins of the site the "title" is not shown under the Workflow Summary tag.
Is there a way I can get the Workflow Summary in the notification to display the person's title?

No, Safari on the iPad in iOS 5 uses tabbed browsing. You can try leaving feedback for Apple : http://www.apple.com/feedback/ipad.html

  • Title frame in the .Mac Web Gallery

Hi there... I have a movie which I've published to the Web Gallery in iMovie '08. The first couple of seconds of the video is a black screen as there's a music intro. My problem is that due to this black background the preview on the Web Gallery is blank - just a black frame (not very interesting). My question is; is there a way to select which frame is used as the title fame?

.. I'm publishing the movie direct to the Web Gallery though iMovie '08.
ahh, I see.. no, I don't think so, that's possible from within iM08 .. I can not find a setting in its options.
in QTpro, there's an easy single-click solution for that, 'View/Set Poster frame', which adds a manual selected poster frame...
so, live with the preset, use iWeb or purchase QTpro seem to be your only options..

  • Academic Title in Mail Forms

    Hi all,
just a short question about mail forms.
We use the mail form for file export, there in the standard attributes you can choose the academic titlle. When you start the campaign with that mail form the system will give you the description of the academic title (Data element AD_TITLE1D) and not the academic title (Data element: AD_TITLE1T) itself. So for example you have Professor instead of Prof. But nobody wants to be addressed as Professor Doctor Maier on a letter but as Prof. Dr. Maier.
Has anyone of you an idea how we can get the short version of the academic title (AD_TITLE1T) in our mail form?
    Thanks in advance!
    Regards Anne

    Hi Anne,
do you have created an attribute context for mail forms?
if not, you can find it here:
SPRO-CRM-Marketing-Marketing Plannig and Campaign Management-Personalized Mail-Maintain Attribute Context for Mail Forms.
There you can create your own stuctures for your mail forms.
If I remind right, you can choose these attributes as "additional attributes" while creating a mail form.

    Dennis

  • To remove grey title bar in Forms 9i

I am using a Form(Forms 9i services), but when running it using named configuration on WIN2K env., I am getting the typical grey title bar with 'Window' written on extreme left and 'ORACLE' on the right. Can I remove this title bar.
Which files I have to change for Customisation.
    Regards,
    Gaurav Srivastava

mt22 wrote:But what do you mean when you say that if I remove the titlebar later I'll end up with race conditions?
Well, you added a titlebar for all windows (this is done through the "manage" signal). Plus, using "rules", you removed the titlebar for some windows. So your code tried to do something like this:
    A new window spawns.
    ["manage"] Add a titlebar.
["rules"] Remove the titlebar for some windows.
Are you sure that this always happens in this particular order? I am not. Maybe something like this happens instead:
    A new window spawns.
["rules"] Remove the titlebar for some windows (ouch! there is none!)
    ["manage"] Add a titlebar.
    2. and 3. are mixed up here. Now, all your windows still have titlebars.
See, I really don't know if the order of execution is guaranteed. I haven't read Awesome's source code regarding this issue. So, my code avoids the whole issue because only one action is involved:
    A new window spawns.
["rules"] Add a titlebar iff it's not XTerm/luakit/whatever.
I think/hope this is the best way to do it.

  • Remove Title Bar From Form, Visual C# Express

I have been told to set the Border to 0 or "none".
I was also told to set the ControlBox to False.  This only removed the minimize, maximize and exit icons.
There is no Border setting on the Form Properties.  Is that in the Ultimate version?
Otherwise, what code do I use to remove the title entirely?
In games like Starcraft 2, there is a transparent title bar with minimize, maximize and exit styled to fit the game visuals.  I would be interested in that, too.  Is that c++ only, though?

    set Forms ControlBoxproperty
    to false and Text property
    to empty
    this.ControlBox = false;
    this.Text = String.Empty;
