Bill not paid; what happens to texts?

So, I've been searching around the interwebs for an answer to this question, but get two answers everytime.
I have a late bill ongoing, so Verizon temporarily disconnected it until I pay it in a week. 
I don't know if this is considered the same as "Suspended" - like when you manual suspend you service or what, but -
I wanted to know if the calls and texts sent to me by other people are going to come in all at once when I pay my bill, or if they're all lost. 
At first,I could receive texts and phone calls, but then eventually I couldn't - and after a few days, people started hearing the whol "This number has been changed or disconnected"
I've read (generally speaking, not just Verizon) that because the line is disconnected, nothing will come through when I reactivate.  I've also read that if it's suspended manually by the owner of the contract, nothing will come through, but if it's "temporarily disconnected" due to a late payment, all the missed texts and voicemails will come in when I reactivate.
So I came to Verizon's own forum to check.
If possible, I'd like an answer from someone actually working at Verizon - just because different people probably get different results (someone disconnected for 1 day vs someone disconnected for 1 week etc could possibly have two outcomes - I wouldn't know)

Verizon Wireless will attempt to deliver the message when your device is powered on and you are in the Verizon Wireless digital service area. If the device is powered off or you have traveled outside of the Verizon Wireless digital service area, the network will store the message for later delivery. The network will attempt to deliver the message for 5 days (120 hours) from the date of Verizon Wireless' receipt of the message. Messages not delivered within 5 days will be automatically deleted.
The above information applies to messages sent to temporarily suspended phones as well. I trust you find this information helpful.

    Has the album now been released ? If it is has and you've paid for it (you aren't charged when you pre-order an item, only when it's released) then you should be able to download the complete e.g. via the Purchased tab in the iTunes store app on your phone, or the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage on your computer's iTunes.

    I think it might be the problem with one of your plugins.
    Try to uninstall the webbrowser AND remove the storage from Firefox in your user-account (Linux: /home/username/.mozilla). You can check the list of installed Add-Ons in Firefox under "Extras => Add-ons" or by pressing Shift + Strg + A (Linux).

    Try reset iPad
    Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears
    Note: Data will not be affected.

    I've had trouble with this for quite a while now. Not sure what the issue is. I have an iPhone 6+ running the current software iOS 8.3 & when I try to post a Facebook status through Siri she responds with something along the lines of "I'm sorry. I can't post to your Facebook. I'm not sure what happened." Not sure what's causing this issue as I have the Facebook app installed on my iPhone as well as being signed in through the settings app. Note: this is an issue only with Facebook. She is able to post tweets with no with no issue.

    You can try dragging that alias off the sidebar (command-key) and drag a new one from your user folder into place.

    Photoshop Elements 3 dialog box with picture and patent numbers - not sure how to get it fixed.  It's in an infinite loop - have rebooted to no avail.  Should I update to a higher version after deleting this version?

    Tried the resetting options, but can't even get to preferences - nothing 
    will open.  May have to find my Version 3 CD, or delete Photoshop 3 and get

    That's exactly what I'm saying. You do have some choices though. You can upgrade to Design Premium or even Design Standard which would save you some money.

    1. Remove the headphone.
        If you see red light in the headphone port, plug the headphone
        in and out of the port 5 or 6 times to flip the microswitch inside.
        Sound output may be stuck in the digital mode.

        Choose the method for:
