Bill of Lading, Packing Slip report

Hi Gurus,
I have raised SO, picked, shipped, while doing Ship confirm, system generated 5 concurrent programs, completed all but Bill of Lading, Packing Slip report getting output as Blank, no data is appearing in report.
If I want to see data in these two report, which fields have to update in SO form, Shipping form?
Is there any setups/ profile options to achieve this?
Kindly advise.
Regards
AK

    Hi,
    You can get all these fields in MB51 report by selecting the relavant fields in the selection variant. If any of the required fields are not available than you can add those in img -going tothe Inv Mgt-Reporting - Define field selection for material document list.

  • Standard report to find bill of lading and invoice link

    Hi all,
    I have an issue is any report exists in SAP where we can see link in between invoice and bill of lading .
    Thanks

    hi,
    there is no standard report as such which links BOL comes in GTS or FT&C and invoice number.
    you can create a ABAP query as such there are only two tables to link one is
    LIKP- BOLNR & VBRK - VBELN.
    you can generate on your own.

  • Regrouping/splitting Bill of Lading Report

    I have created a BI Publisher report to generate a Bill of Lading based on XML output. The report will print to PDF.
    If I get more then 3 line items per page the report rolls to another page.
    Is there a way to repeat the header and footer information on each page and limit the out put to three lines per page.
    For example
    Shipment going from A to B with 6 lines I would expect to see
    Header Information
    Line 1
    Line 2
    Line 3
    Footer information
    Header Information
    Line 4
    Line 5
    Line 6
    Footer information
    My XML output is
    Header Information
    Line 1
    Line 2
    Line 3
    Line 4
    Line 5
    Line 6
    Thanks,
    Rick

    Thanks, I had looked at that. However the issue is with the for-each@section
    My XML is structured like the following
    <Shipment>
    <SourceLocation>
    <DestinationLocation>
    <Start Time>
    <End Time>
    <Ship Unit>
    <Ship Unit>
    <Ship Unit>
    <Ship Unit>
    </Shipment>
    I would like to see
    Source Location Destination Location
    Start Time End Time
    Ship Unit
    Ship Unit
    ** Page Break **
    Source Location Destination Location
    Start Time End Time
    Ship Unit
    Ship Unit
    If you use the example you listed you get
    Source Location Destination Location
    Start Time End Time
    Ship Unit
    Ship Unit
    **Page Break ***
    Ship Unit
    Ship Unit
    Section will apply to that instance and not repeat the header.

  • Bill of lading in delivery in WM

    Hi All - Hope everybody is doing well.
    I have a question on bill of lading. At what stage during the delivery creation against STO, we will generate the bill of lading and packing list? the scenario is we will create the delivery against STO from other plant. Further more what will be the configuration we need to do to generate the BOL and Picking list? please help with steps.
    Any help is greatly appreciated.
    regards,
    Khan

    A Bill of lading[BOL] is a document issued by a carrier, by a company's shipping department, acknowledging that specified goods have been received on board as cargo for conveyance to a named place for delivery to the consignee who is usually identified.
    You can generate a Bill of Lading document before you Goods Issue the outbound delivery. Packing List and Picking List are two different documents. Picking List (Pick Slip) Guides a warehouse user on what needs to be picked against which document. A packing slip constitutes the contents of packing/handling unit information for a delivery/order. This is much like the documetation you find when you open a newly purchased electronic component like say a camera.
    In order to use the Packing list PL00 (packing slip in delivery) you must do 'Packing' in the delivery note (edit->packing)..otherwise while printing there would be an error: V1032
    You need to issue output from delivery item first VL02N >extras>delivery output>item>PL00
    Delivery Note (ouput PL00/LD00 Packing List-Transaction VL74)
    The delivery note, (packing List) contains the following information for each line item.
    • The item number ordered, example 24231
    • Your order number, since a shipment may contain items from various orders
    having your PO # next to each line item will help your warehouse personnel
    properly identify the items being received.
    • Material or IDH number which identifies 24231 in SAP
    • Quantity Ordered
    • Quantity Shipped
    • Net Weight
    • Number of packages
    • Batch Code
    • Quantity/Pack
    The BOL can be found in the Output determination for the Transportation [Transaction V/82]
    Example:
    1. Output determination starts in V7 with output type CMR1 and the assigned access sequence.
    2. The access sequence defines the fields with which the key for the condition table is read.
    (for example, condition table B017: shipment type of the shipment is read)
    3. If the condition record is found, the system proposes an output with the output attributes found in the table.
    4. The output proposal (possibly not yet processed) is stored after the document is posted as an output status record in the NAST table.

  • Bill of Lading and multiple deliveries

    Hi Guru's,
    I have a question regarding Bill of Lading and deliveries. We can have multiple deliveries which are related to one Bill of Lading. Normally when I process the per delivery the DESADV IDOC but is there another way to send multiple deliveries based on the same Bill of Lading?
    Best regards,
    Guido Koopmann

    If you mean that you'd like to have multiple deliveries i one IDoc then it's not feasible. Unless you create a custom IDoc, of course. To my knowledge, there is no IDoc for bill of lading. Shipment is pretty much the only document that may include multiple deliveries.
    But if you just want to select the deliveries by BOL # and create individual DESADV IDocs for them, then it should be feasible, at least by writing a small "wrapper" ABAP report.

  • Bill of Lading field in VL06I

    Dear MM Gurus,
    I am capturing the Bill of Lading Number in the 'Header > Shipment > Bill of Lading field', T/code: VL31N.  But when I execute the report VL06I the field Bill of Lading is not available.  Can anybody please advise how to bring the field inside the standard report.  Any customizing is required for this?
    Expecting the valuable advise.

    the field BOLNR is not in this program so either you have to create custom or use the user exit to retrive the field

  • Bill of lading field - MB01

    Hi,
        I know the answer, but still I would like to confirm / findout if there are any other ways.
      The length of bill of lading (MKPF-FRBNR) in GR (MB01) has  max lenght of 16 chars. But UPS bill of lading length is 18 chars. I would like to check with you guys if it is possible to extend the field length (which I think it is not possible) or any other ways how to handle this situation.
      I am sure that some others should have faced this since UPS is a big carrier and several companies are using UPS and SAP. Please let me know. Thanks,
    Regards,
    Sundar.

    Hi
    It is possible to increase the filed length of the material, juts ensure before increasing the field length the usage of this field.
    Some times after chanig the filed length , som reports get affected due to the usage , thats the reason SAP recommends not to Increase field length.
    Check if you can move the data into some other field if possible.
    Thanks & regards
    Kishore

  • Bill of Lading Numbering

    I have a question in regards to the bill of lading numbering scheme that other companies are using.
    Currently, we are using the shipment and the stage numbers as the bill of lading number
    (i.e. 12345-01, 12345-02, etc.).  This number is what prints on the document and is also placed in the BOLNR field in the LIKP delivery table.
    Can anyone tell me what the standard bill of lading numbering is or what their company uses?  And are they updating the BOLNR field in LIKP with that number?
    Thank you,
    Maria

    Dear Maria
    Bill of Lading is a document which is used in export scenarios.  Once you despatch the goods from a manufacturing industry to customs, the shipping agent will release a document, which is nothing but Bill of Lading (in short, we call it as B/L)  for having received your cargo.  This document contains details like
    -  Exporters name and address
    -  Ship To Party address
    -  Notify address if any
    -  Payment term
    -  On Board date
    On the back side of this document, there would be legal obligations printed.
    Once you negotiate this document along with export invoice and packing list, via your bankers, who in turn, will route the document to the importers' bank for honouring payment.  Only on producing this Bill of Lading, the importer can clear the cargo.  So the number range will differ for one export invoice to another and we can use the field BOLNR in LIKP table
    thanks

  • Bill of lading (VL01N)

    Hi All,
    The bill of lading report (pick list) VL01N needs to be modified to have the third party truck information to be printed on the report. Does anyone know if I can write any user exit or BADI for this? Also I tried to find what the sap script form name or Smart form used in this program in printing this report by debugging. I couldn’t find the form name. Can you tell me how can I find the form name?
    Thanks,
    Sobhan.

    You might be able to find it in transaction NACE.
    Please see output types under  application V7.  Check out output types CMR1.
    I believe the standard print program may be RVADTR01 and the standard form may be SD_SHIPMENT_CMR.
    I doubt that you can accomplish this via a user exit/BADI.  The common practice is to copy the standard form and standard print program and modify accordingly.

  • Bill of Lading : Forwarding Agent/Carrier data

    Hello,
    On Bill of Lading report no data are displayed in 'Forwarding Agent/Carrier' section.
    Which kind of data do I have to setup to displayed data in this section ?

    This might helps
    You can create a Bill of Lading category for each delivery leg's Ship
    Method/Carrier you use or define one Bill of Lading category for all Ship
    Methods/Carriers. The advantage to having a different Bill of Lading
    sequence for each carrier is that you could easily identify the carrier
    by looking at the Bill of Lading number.
    In addition to creating document categories by Ship Method/Carrier, you
    can tie a category to a specific delivery's pick-up location. This
    provides the opportunity to have a different BOL sequence for the same
    carrier departing from a different location. An example of this would be:
    For a Viking Freight shipment departing from warehouse 1 the Bill of
    Lading number could look like this: WH1-Viking-12345
    For a Viking Freight shipment departing from warehouse 2 the Bill of
    Lading number could look like this: WH2-Viking-54321

  • Bill of Lading in SD

    Hi Friends,
    Can anybody let me know how to generate the output for the Bill of Lading from SD perspective?
    Cheers
    Ivy

    Hi,
    Have a look in table NAST for your type *LSR.
    If you find already some entries, this is correct.
    Then you can use report RSNAST00 to execute those messages (again).
    If nothing is selected, check the select for NAST to find the missmatch in the where-clause. Just change the NAST table or the message settings in the document.
    regards,
    Siddharth.

  • What to ship today? How to create Packing Slip?

    Sales created 20x A/R invoice for today's orders.
    1. For the warehouse who has access to SBO, how do they view what they need to ship today? Is there anyway to display some sort of list what they need to ship today?
    2. Secondly, after I created A/R invoice, how do I create and print Packing Slip? I have browsed SBO documentations, but I didn't find such a thing.
    Please help.

    Correct me if I'm wrong here, but for your Sales department, they should be creating Sales Orders first then Sales Delivery Order and finally Sales AR Invoice.
    This is how SAP B1 can help you track what to ship today. Within each Sales Order, there is a date field for 'estimated delivery date' and for each Sales order your Sales team creates, they can have a estimated delivery date here.
    Once that is done, you can either:
    A. Write a query and use that as a report or attach it to the Alert Management to trigger a message to users on what Sales Orders have to be delivered today.
    Example Query to show what items from the Sales Order that have to be delivered today
    SELECT T0.DocNum, T0.CardCode, T0.CardName, T1.ItemCode, T1.Dscription, T1.Quantity, T1.ShipDate FROM ORDR T0 INNER JOIN RDR1 T1 ON T0.DocEntry = T1.DocEntry WHERE T1.ShipDate = (CONVERT(CHAR(8),GETDATE(),10)) AND T1.OpenQty <> 0
    B. Use the Open Item report to see which Sales Orders have not been sent out.
    When your Sales department creates AR Invoices, SAP B1 will already have deducted the inventory from the warehouse, so there's no such thing as 'what to deliver today'

  • Show PTO BOM item price on pick slip report

    We're an EBS 11.5.10.2 install, and I've created a Kit (PTO Item)-style BOM and am able to successfully order/pick/pack/ship my kit.
    I've also set the profile option to explode the BOM on order Entry (rather than on Book) so I can see the components.
    We have a customized XML-based Pick Slip Report that shows line pricing that our shipping dept uses to determine freight insurance value.
    My problem is that only the top level item (the kit) has a price on it (even though the individual components have pricing, they come into the order as 0.00 when they are part of the kit) and only the components print on the pick slip, thus showing a zero dollar amount on the pick slip report.
    Does anyone know of a way to have the individual component pricing come over to the pick slip or, even better, to show in the order lines themselves? (I may want to adjust pricing at the component level).
    Thanks in advance,
    Andy

    actual query gives the items which are picked from wsh_delivery_details wdd, oe_orders_lines_all oola....
    <G_PICK_SLIP_NUMBER>
    <SOURCE_LINE_NUMBER>1.1</SOURCE_LINE_NUMBER>
    <ORDERED_ITEM>SS</ORDERED_ITEM>

    <SOURCE_LINE_NUMBER>2.1..2</SOURCE_LINE_NUMBER>
    <ORDERED_ITEM>XX2</ORDERED_ITEM>
    </G_PICK_SLIP_NUMBER>
    i added a query to get the parent item, which I can get only from oola since the parent item did not have the record in wdd
    <G_SOURCE_HEADER_ID4>
    <SOURCE_LINE_NUMBER1>2.1</SOURCE_LINE_NUMBER1>
    <ORDERED_ITEM4>XX</ORDERED_ITEM4>

    in the template i am using the following xml tag
    <?for-each:G_PICK_SLIP_NUMBER?><?sort:SOURCE_LINE_NUMBER;'ascending';data-type='text'?>
    which gives
    1.1 ss
    2.1.1 xx1
    2.1.2 xx2
    where as i am looking for the following output
    1.1 ss
    2.1 xx
