Bill Presentment Architecture help please

Hello,
This is the first time that I am using BPA.
We need to add additional information to our Invoice and need to change the format. I have created a custom template for our invoice Print using Bill presentment Architecture. It looks good when I open the document through “Interactive Preview” of the BPA. I have created a rule and assigned the template to the new rule. I queried a transaction and clicked the eyeglass symbol, but it still shows the “Default Invoice Template”. I also ran the seeded program “BPA Transaction Print Program” expecting to see the custom template format. But I still see the default template in the output.
I have an issue with Interactive Preview as well. Online Preview looks good with all the logo and additional information in Logo area. But the Print Preview doesn’t show the logo area at all.
Could somebody please help us to resolve these issues?

Thanks for the answer. When you say rule data is that Rule creation date or the "Bill Creation From Date" that we setup while creating the rule? I have created a new invoice after the rule created, but it did not pick the new custom template.
I have another issue. It would be greate if you could help. I have split my logo area into 2 vertically to display logo in one and legal entity and addres on the other one. In the Online Preview I can see the logo and Legal address. But in the print preview , i am not able to see them. It just shows a blank space. Any Idea?

How to make a RTF-Template for the Bill Presentment Architecture (BPA)

Hallo,
I search a way to make an external RTF-template for the Oracle Receivables Balance Forward - Detail report in the Bill Presentment Architecture (BPA).
I've never done that.
I don't know how to get a XML-file of this request to use for the creation of the RTF-file.
And so I don't know how to specify in the RTF the LOOPs for the Lines and other If-conditions and so on.
Can anybody help me?

Can you please help me in finding XML output for Invoice Print BPA Child Program. I have tried changing the output format to XML but no luck. If you can send me any suggestion to my email address [email protected] would be very helpful.
Also, Did you try adding any conditional formatting (eg. <?if:column_name='value'?>) in RTF template? is it working?
Any help is appreciated.

In the document we found that BPA has seeded 7 templates: Default Invoice Template, Default Oracle Service Contracts Template, Default Credit Memo Template, Default Debit Memo Template, Default Chargeback Template, Default Guarantee Template, Default Deposit Template.
But we able to see only Default Invoice Template, Default Oracle Service Contracts Template. We are not able to figure it out. Can anybody help us in this regard.
And the request "Invoice Print BPA Master Program" there is only Invoice for the transaction class field. If we want credit or debit memo as class or anything relevant what should we do?

You just search on 'Default%' for the Template Name and you should be able to see all.
Also as I understand Invoice Print BPA Master program can be invoked for Chargeback, Credit Memo, Debit Memo, Deposit, Gurantee and Invoice
Seems your settings dont allow you to access everything.

There is a chapter on "Bill Presentment Architecture" in the Oracle Receivables User Guide. See Chapter 4 if you are on Release 11i

Bill Presentment Architecture - Migrating to New Environement

What is the process for migrating changes in the Bill Presentment Architecture to a new environment (UAT or PROD)? Is there a FNDLOAD script? I've looked at the BPA user guide and there does not appear to be any export utilities.

Should be able to go into your sound preferences and choose your output device, you can also try downloading Airfoil and try that, it's a pretty cool app.

Bill Presentment Architecture, how to Overide Default Rule and ensure the AR Invoice/Transaction Chooses "Customer Transaction Data Source"

Hi Intelligentsia,
we are on 12.2.4 on linux, i have setup external template with supplementary Data source as "Customer Transaction Data Source", when i test it fails, i am not able to debug it , however when i run the BPA Transaction Print Program (Multiple Languages) it always gives me the default layout.
Query is
How do i ensure the Default rule Does not apply to my Invoice and i am able to override it
is there a method to explicitly Ensure the Supplementary Data Source as "Customer Transaction Data Source", when i am creating the AR Invoice/ Transaction? Am i missing some setup in AR Invoice Transaction Flexfield where i need to setup this "Customer Transaction Data Source" as the DFF Context ?
please let me know if you need any more information.

Rounding on Bill Presentment Architecture output

We are using External Templates for Invoice printing in AR. We had to set Precision at 3 decimals for some new billing but that is extrapolating to the entire invoice and showing all places with decimals out to 3 now. Is there any way to round in the Amount, Total Amount, Payments and Credits and Remaining Balance cells? Using Number Format with 2 decimals in those cells is not working and still shows with the 3 from Precision setting.

Which bean is used for selecting the image? Uploading beans will show you the local pc's folder only. Can you share the metalink which talk of this functionality.

Bill Presentment Architecture - Add additional line columns in template

Hi,
I am going to add additional columns in lines level in BPA template. The template is for all our invoices which include manually entered invoices and invoices imported from other systems. I knew we need to create a supplemental data source base on a context value, but manually entered invoices don't have a context.
How can I create a supplemental data source for manually entered invoices?
We have three context values defined for ar invoice import from different legacy systems and plus manually entered invoices. Do we need to create 4 templates base on 4 data sources?. Can we only create one template (need additional columns in line level) for all invoices? Would be very helpful, if I get how to do these.

How to add new source views for Bill Presentment Architecture (BPA)?

Financials 11.5.10.2;
I'm trying to add custom source views to be used with BPA.
I go to configuration\data sources and click on the views buttons to see the available views.
There I click on the register button. If I use the LOV button for view name, no views are available. I thought I would see the view in the APPS schema.
How do I make my custom views available in the list of values?

It was easy for us. The guide suggests your view begin with the string "ARBPA". One might assume that if your view doesn't start with this, it won't be available from the list.

The censorship in regards to certain apps not being available in your country is by your country, not by Apple.
Due to various laws and licensing in each country, in order to have an iTunes store account in a particular country you must have a credit card with a billing address in that country. If this were up to Apple, there would be no such requirement and there would be only one iTunes store for the entire world, but various laws, regulations, and licensing issues in each country, this is required by Apple.

The devices are not registered in Malta as such, it's your Apple ID that is registered in a country other than France, namely Malta. You can only use gift cards from France when your iTunes Store account is registered for use in France. That requires a credit card issued to a French bank and billed to an address in France. I'm afraid there's nothing you can do with the card other than find a user in France who would like it.
The iTunes Store in a country is intended only for use by that country's residents, and only while they are in the country. To use the iTunes Store in a country you need a credit card (or other card type if acceptable in a country) issued in that country, billed to an address in that country, and also be physically present in that country when using the store. You are also restricted to waiting 90 days between country changes.
E.g., "The iTunes Service is available to you only in the United States, its territories, and possessions. You agree not to use or attempt to use the iTunes Service from outside these locations. As with the Mail app on a Mac, the iPhone's Mail app stores all email recipients in a list of previous recipients which is separate from the address book or contacts. The email address autofill feature when addressing an message pulls from Contacts and from the list of previous recipients.
Different from the Mail app on a Mac, there is no access to the list of previous recipients with iOS on an iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad to remove a previous recipient from the list, or to add a previous recipient to the address book or contacts that is not already entered - not at the present time anyway.
The only way to purge the list of previous recipients at the present time is by restoring your iPhone with iTunes as a new iPhone or not from your iPhone's backup, which will start being re-populated again with every sent message.
