Bill still showing after cancelation

I recently (June) cancelled my Comcast, and brought the equipment back to Comcast. I have the receipt.  When I log into my account it still shows a bill of $181.something, and it says my equipment is still working. lol!  Of course, there doesn't appear to be a way of emailing Comcast to ask what's up.  (Former Acct: 8155300150594604) I don't want to waste my time being on the phone with their service center. btw: Switching to Sonic was easy, and OTT with HBONow and Amazon Prime rocks!

iPhoto still works and will not interfere with the new Photos.  If you have the space, I would hold on to it for a while till you are completely satisfied with Photos. There are many "issues" that  have been reported.
If you really want to delete it, go to your Applications folder and select the app.
Go to it's 'info' panel by clicking  Cmd-i
When the panel opens, click on the lock in the bottom right hand corner; this will ask for your computer password to unlock the panel.
Click on the plus sign. This will open another window that will allow you to add yourself to the "Name" list in the info panel.
Select your name.
Go to the info panel and set your "Privilege" to Read & Write
Click on the Lock.
You should now be able to Cmd-Delete the file.

I've also come across the tool "vendelete" which deletes the vendor.xml files. So I do the following: 1. uninstall the original carrier OS from pc. 2. Install OS from different carrier to pc. 3. Use vendelete to get rid of the xml files which it says no xml files were found. 4. Use bbsak to wipe the oS. 5. reload the OS. But when the phone boots up, it still shows the sign of the carrier which I don't want, so i presume nothing has been updated? since when I try to install the application again, I still get the 910 error. What am i doing wrong here? Help would be much appreciated. Regards,

    Actually, the IT Policy is another thing that is not removed by other Wipe methods, nor is it removed when you install a different carriers OS to the BB. See this for the proper IT Policy removal process:

    If, when you do this, you take a backup first, then you MUST NOT do a wholesale restore afterwards...if you do, the IT Policy will dutifully be put back on. You must do a selective restore of only those specific databases that you require, being 100% certain to EXCLUDE from the restore any that deal with the IT Policy:

    From all of your symptoms, a latent IT Policy on board the BB could be the root cause of everything, so I recommend you use the above methods and truly cleanse your BB of the IT Policy. I think I'd suggest the following steps, just to be sure that things are truly clean...also insert plenty of reboots of your PC...not just restarts, but full power down reboots. Also, it is advised that you be logged into the PC on an account with full admin rights. Further, under Vista/Win7, use the "Run As Administrator" option for everything.
    1) Remove all device OS update packages from your PC (add/remove programs)
    2) Cleanly uninstall the RIM Desktop Software:

    Some have reported that manually cleansing the registry of all keys related to RIM, BB, and Puma to also be helpful
    Others have reported the use of a registry cleansing tool to also be helpful
    Still others have reported the use of your original PIM (e.g., Outlook, NOTES, etc.) installation CD, running the "repair" process, to be helpful in some situations
    3) Get a fresh download of the RIM Desktop Software:

    4) Download (to your PC) a fresh copy of your currently installed (on your BB) device OS package from your carrier (if it's not the original carrier, then you know already to delete all copies of VENDOR.XML after installing to the PC):

    5) Install the Desktop Software to your PC
    6) Install (also to your PC), the device OS package
    7) If you need a backup from the BB, take a full one now:

    8) Perform the ResetToFactory

    9) If you want a different OS on the BB, then remove the OS Package from your PC and install the one you desire onto your PC (but not yet to your BB)...again, remove VENDOR.XML files if the package is not from the BB's original carrier.
    10) Use BBSAK to wipe the BB and then load the OS to the BB
    11) If you took the backup in step 7, use that as source for a selective restore, including only the databases you require and excluding all databases that have anything to do with the IT Policy:

    12) Now see if you can proceed with installing apps

  • App Store Updates still showing after update

    I have downloaded lots of apps for my iPod touch and I had one update available from the App Store. I have downloaded the update on my iPod twice, in iTunes 3 times and I have synced the iPod over and over again and the update is still showing in the App Store even after I have already installed it. What can I do to fix this?

    For what is worth, this started happening to me as well, I got two updates "fixed" there albeit the apps have been updated days ago...

  • Cablecard charges still showing after returning the card to Verizon

    How long does it usually take for the cable card charges to get dropped after returning the card?  I sent my cable card back to Verizon (in prepaid box that they sent me - TY!) a month ago, and the charges still show up on my account.  When I talked to the customer rep, they suggested that I wait a bit longer to see if the cable card removal will automatically show up under my account.  However, I somehow doubt that the system will show that the card was returned.  I have pictures of the box and the tracking number, as well UPS' tracking info (accepted by Verizon on 3/19/2013 and signed by Taylor).  Does it usually take that long for Verizon to update their system?

    i've upgraded to Photos (Yosemite 10.10.3), however iPhotos is still showing as well as Photos. Is there anyway I can remove this? I've tried to via the 'App Cleaner' program, however iPhoto is shown as locked? It just seems stupid to have it taking up room on my drive when its obsolete!

    I bought the Iron Man2 HD movie and at first it said there was an error downloading the SD but then I got it. But why does it still show an iCloud icon in Purchased?

    All it means is that some of your iTunes Library is available in the cloud. This could either be iTunes in the Cloud (where previous purchases are available for re-download), or iTunes Match.

  • App Store badges still showing after update

    Just updated to iOS 8.1 and after syncing my iPhone and iPad there are still badges showing for the number of updates available on the AppStore icon. When I open the App Store on the device it does not show any updates available. In the past when this happened all I did was open the App Store and tap updates. A message came up telling me all apps have been updated and the badge disappeared. Now it is stuck on a number and won't change.

    I had the same problem and submitted a feedback report. Until the bug is fixed I just deleted the app, then went to "Purchased" and re-downloaded the app and the badge disappears.

  • To do items still show after completion

    Since installing Leopard, iCal shows all to do items, even when they are marked as completed.
    'Show all completed items' is not selected in the drop-down menu. Items completed before the switch to Leopard do not show - which is the correct behaviour. But all recent items show regardless of their completion state.
    I am synching to Mobile Me, but I started this shortly after the Leopard switch, so I don't know whether this is a synching issue, or a Leopard issue.
    Any ideas anyone?

  • IMessages still show after deleting Chat.db

    Hello All,
    I have a rather perplexing problem.  I have cleared iMessage's chat.db, chat.db-shm, and chat.db-wal, emptying the trash successfully.  I have also deleted all archives in the iChat folder within my documents folder.
    When I search for a keyword in spotlight on iMessages though, the messages in question still come up, but only when I have had a recent conversation with the specific person the keyword search comes up with.  If I delete the conversation with this person, the search of the keyword shows nothing.  Is there anywhere else the messages could be being stored?  The same process of deleting chat.db etc on my MacBook Pro running 10.8.5 worked successfully, but it will not seem to work on my iMac running 10.9.5.

    iChat stored Saved Chats in ~/Documents/iChats by default.
    Messages stores them in a folder called Archive.
    This is tucked away in ~/Library/Containers/com.apple.iChat/Data/Messages
    See Path Bar at bottom of this pic.
    If you Save Chats this stores them in this location by dated folders.
    Searching for info in them will bring them back like the Chat.db items do for iMessages "History" when you reconnect to a previous Contact.
    However it works for AIM, Jabber and other conversations and Chats you have had as well as the iMessages ones you may have Saved.

  • App updates still showing after being done 3 times

    Hi all,
    after updating to Mavericks, I updated iLife and iWork to the latest version.
    I did it once, and the updates went fine.
    But... App Store kept showing iMovie as an update. I re-downloaded (almost 2GB) and installed.
    It then asked for another update (in-between there were shutdown/restarts of the PC since they were done in different sessions).
    Now I am being asked again for iMovie and Pages/Keynote/Numbers.
    How am I supposed to stop this?

    Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.
    iOS: Wrong passcode results in red disabled screen

    If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.
    You can redownload most iTunes purchases by:
    Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store        
    If problem what happens or does not happen and when in the instructions? When you successfully get the iPod in recovery mode and connect to computer iTunes should say it found an iPod in recovery mode.

    hello, i ahve another problem i think...
    i have just Restored my iPod back to Factory Settings... and i put all my data back on my iPod... BUT... when itunes says its finished updating, my ipod continues to show the "do not disconnect" label.
    when i click on the eject buttons in itunes, a message box pops up, it reads..
    "The iPod "[my name]" cannot be ejected becuase because it contains files that are in use by another application".
    but no other programs are running that use my iPod!!!
    whats going on???

    Try this:
    Close iTunes.
    Go to "Task Manager", click on the "Processes" tab. (click on the "image name" tab to stop the titles from moving, if necessary).
    Find these two names:
    "ipodservice.exe", "ituneshelper.exe"; End these two processes.
    Open iTunes again, and see what happens when you manually eject it by clicking the little arrow...

    Just in case we need to get into some computer related details later, what computer operating system is your Premiere Elements 12 running on?
    If you go to Expert workspace Help Menu/, do you find Sign In or Sign Out when you are having these Adobe watermark problems?
    Given that you cannot remove the Adobe watermark from an export of the tryout Premiere Elements 12 tryout (either burn to disc or export to file saved to the computer hard drive). You can only remove the Adobe watermark from the tryout project file (project.prel).
    The classical way to remove the Adobe watermark from the tryout project file is to open the tryout project file in the purchased Premiere Elements into which the purchased serial number has been inserted. And, then the user goes to Expert workspace/Timeline Menu/and clicks on Delete Rendered Files. In contrast, others including myself have found that just opening the tryout project file in the purchased product resulted in the automatic disappearance of the Adobe watermark. Did you try the both approaches to getting rid of the Adobe watermark in your tryout project(s)?
    If you have been there and done all of the above, you could try some of the following paths...
    a. I am assuming that you are running the program from a User Account with Administrative Privileges. If not already, apply Run As Administrator by right clicking the desktop icon for the program and selecting Run As Administrator.
    b. Delete the Adobe Premiere Elements Prefs file and/or the whole 12.0 Folder in which it exists.
    c. Deactivate the program within a project (Help Menu/Sign Out), uninstall (the usual Control Panel route), ccleaner run through, reinstall with antivirus and firewalls disabled.
    More specific details will be forthcoming when you let us know the computer operating system involved.

  • Merge Fields in Word Templates are still showing after replaceing procedure

    we are using CRM 7.0 and we are using the BAdI CRM_OFFICE_TEMPLATE_BADI to replace the Merge Fields which are placed in Word  Template!
    Normaly it works very fine, but in some cases if there is no value to fill into the merge field, the merge field is shown like it is created in the template.
    In most of the other cases the not replaced merge field is not shown in the created document.
    Does anybody has got the same issue? If yes, how do you solve it?
