Billing date comes later than PGI Date

Dear Friends
For a particular customer, billing date is getting generated two days after the PGI date. But for all other customers we are getting billing date on the same date as PGI is done. This problem is occurred soon after we have started invoicing through scheduling agreement instead of sales order. But I went to sceduling agrement , header &item, billing . There billing date is depicted same as PGI and delivery date. The TOP in customer, Bitting tab is 30 days credit. In customer billing Tab page there is no entry that can make this change in PGI and Billing date.
Pls tell me how do I make Billing date and the PGI on the same date?

Just check in scheduling agreement document type in VOV8 wheather you have maintained Lead time in days or not
Check in VD02->sales area data tab wheather you have assigned the standard factory calendar 01 or not . Because this might be because of the factory calendar also.As it considers weekends has holidays
Check in your shipping point details also wheather you have assigned factory calendar or not

Suppose PGI date is 3.6.2010 & user is creating bill doc on 5.6.2010 but entering a date later than PGI date say e.g 2.6.2010. Now we want that sys shd not accept a manually entered bill doc date later than PGI date. I think, Iu2019ve made my issue very clear. So how to achieve this thru std. config? We know that thru ABAP a u201CZu201D chck is possible to apply for this scenario but we want to do it thru std. config. Pls help.

Go to VTFL, select the item category for the combination of your delivery type and billing type and maintain routine 011 for the field "Data: VBRK/VBRP". If you have already assigned a different routine, then add this code
VBRK-FKDAT = SY-DATUM"
Also the above routine will only propose the system date but it can be changed manually. In order to prevent this, you can make the date field as grey through billing exit USEREXIT_FILL_VBRK_VBRP (Module pool SAPLV60A, program RV60AFZC). By doing so, system will always system date (if you applied routine 11) or the actual GI date which cannot be changed.

BILLING DATE GETTING COPIED FROM PGI...

Hi Team,
I have got an incident,user is stating that she recently found that the billing date is getting copied from the PGI dat and that was not configured earlier...so i jus want to show her that it is working as per conigured...so can you please suggest where can i show her that the billing date is picking the PGI dat?? where is the configuration settings done for that?? or any programme debugging need to be done?? if so ..pls help ..My ABAP'ER is not efficient in this it seems.....

Hi.. Thanks for your replies...after doing few analysis.....few things are confusing..
users main problem is with proforma invoices..... when i have checked few proforma invoices,i found for few invoices its picking Planned GI date and for few invoices its picking Actual GI date...when i tried the same in the development server, i found that the system is picking the actual GI date....the routine mentioned in copy controls is 009 which is standard....checked in "changes" of invoice to see if any manual changes are done..didnt find any.i am not understanding the way system is behaving....
But this is not the case for normal F2 invoice...the system is picking Actual GI date only.
Kindly advice as i need to respond user immediately....its already too late...

Comparing dates (Start date should not be later than End date etc ...)

I have a table (5 rows) with 7 columns. Of which the first to columns are the start date and the end date. Can someone kindly advise on how I can go about to ensure that there is some validation mechanism in place such that the start date is not later than the end date and vice versa ? Use calculated attributes as Pran suggested. It should work. Where are you getting the data from. Is it from R/3. The node bound to the table ui element is it a model node. Anyway Here is the link on how to use the calculated attribute.

Hi,
SAP determine default billing date as below logic:
If invoice date are defined for the customer, the system proposes the billing date from invoice date calendar.
If no invoice dates are maintained for the customer, then the actual goods issue date is as default billing date for delivery related billing. And in order related billing, the billing date of sales order as default billing date, when you create billing.
for billing services, the system proposes the date of services rendered
For billing plan to bill a project, the system can propose billing dates for the billing plan on the basis of planned or actual dates in the corresponding milestone.
A billing plan for a maintenance or rental contract, we can define rules by which the system determines billing dates on the basis of other daets in the contract.

When I am updating any field in personal information in on my Account page in IrcVisitor.jsp as external user the system gives me error "Date To must be later than or equal to Date From."

1. Bounce Apache, clear cache and check that the issue is still there. When you bounce apache, make sure to bounce the external tier also if it's a separate server.
2. Check that the flexfield you have personalized is the right one. Simple check is to remove a segment from the list, come back to the page and choose the country for which you removed the segment.
3. If both the above don't help, please post the name of the item you are personalizing, the page and the flex segments list.

Date in External Content Type 1 hour later than MSSQL date

I have an MSSQL table with a date column. I have created an external content type which pulls data from from this MSSQL table. But when the content type is shown in a list in Sharepoint 2010 site, the date is 1 hour later than the date from the MSSQL table?

I'm going to guess that this has to do with server time and sharepoint time. SharePoint time can be found under regional settings. Check to see that it's consistent with the time zone of your other server.

Production finish date is later than order finish date?

In my company, most of the plan orders in MD04 have an exception message "64 Production finish date is later than order finish date". The plan strategy of the materials are 40. The plan orders are created from Scheduling Agreements or Independent Requirements. We set 'Scheduling' as 2(lead time) in the MD01/MD02. The self-production time in material master data is 0. The schedule margin code is 000 which all the parameters are 0.
For a example, we create a requirement on 2007.04.24. After MRP run, plan order generate. It's basic date will be 2007.04.24, but the production date IS 2007.04.25. All the plan order like that, the production date are always later than the basic date for one day.
Could someone tell me why? and how to settle this problem?

for production orders.In that set the various indicators like
adjust basic dates to order start date
do not adjust basic dates to order start dates and try.

I am also getting same error while I create a new service request. I have assigned the date rule for both start date and end date. Request start date is today's date and end date is today's date+3 days. i can see the dates on screen, but still when I save I am getting Requested end date must be later than requested start date. Please let me know am I missing something here.

If you look for this message in DEBUG, youu2019ll find, that it is raised in functional module CRM_DATES_SERVICE_IR. That FM is called if your date type equals to constants GC_APPOINTMENT_TYPE-SRV_CUST_BEG (SRV_CUST_BEG) or GC_APPOINTMENT_TYPE-SRV_CUST_END (SRV_CUST_END).
So, I can say that itu2019s some kind of standard check inside CRM core, and you canu2019t turn it off.
And the workaround variants are listed earlier:
-     You can fill the date SRV_CUST_END with some rule as Mohammed has suggested (even with dumb ISM_INFINITE which will put 31.12.9999 and it will be obvious that user didnu2019t change it)
-     You can move to Z* date types, like you said, and checku2019s wonu2019t run
-     And finally, you can try to delete this error message using BADI method CRM_APPT_CHECK_DEPENDENCIES, CRM_APPOINTMENT_BADI (as I remember it runs after this standard check). But I wouldnu2019t recommend doing it, because CRM_DATES_SERVICE_IR could be called not only in this moment and errors could appear in random placesu2026

Billing date= PGI date + Route time

Hi,
We have a scenario where it takes 7 days to transport the material from location A to B. for e.g. The PGI is done on 11th Aug and material will be delivered by 18th but the Billing document is created on 11th. How can we control the billing date except Billing block and POD relevance indicators.
we want to have the Billing date= PGI date + route time

I have managed to sync my iPhone 4 to my btyahoo calendar with caldav. All entries appear on the phone calendar on the correct date, but the time given is always 5 hours later than the (correct) time on the computer. How can I rectify this?

Why do the times for each event or appointment appear on the phone calendar exactly 5 hours later than the correct times entered into the Yahoo calendar on my P.C? Is there a way of rectifying this, either on the Yahoo calendar site, or on the iPhone?

Changing Billing Date

Is there a way to change my billing date? Right now my bill is due five days before I get paid, which causes my bill no be paid late, which in turn I get charged a late fee.

Hi hgrubbs67! I know that you'd rather not have your bill due date occur before you get paid. Yes, it is possible to change your bill cycle date to reflect a different time of the month. I do want to advise you that to do so may make the first bill appear to be larger than normal. Here's why:
Let's say that your bill cycle date now occurs on the 20th of each month, but you would prefer it to happen on the 10th. So If we were to make that change today (the 25th), you would get a bill that was generated on the 20th and then another bill on the 25th! So please keep that in mind when requesting this change.
