  • Billing date not to be PGI date

    Dear Friends,
presently my Billing date  comes from the goods issue date,
I need to have my billing date as on its creation date,
    is there a customising setting.
    Kind Regards
    ravi

If invoice dates are defined for the customer, the system proposes the billing date from the invoice date calendar. If no invoice dates are agreed, then the actual goods issue date is formed on the basis of delivery related billing. In order related billing, the billing date of the order forms the basis of the billing date

  • Bill Date not later than PGI date

    D/ Friends,
Suppose PGI date is 3.6.2010 & user is creating bill doc on 5.6.2010 but entering a date later than PGI date say e.g 2.6.2010. Now we want that sys shd not accept a manually entered bill doc date later than PGI date. I think, Iu2019ve made my issue very clear. So how to achieve this thru std. config? We know that thru ABAP a u201CZu201D chck is possible to apply for this scenario but we want to do it thru std. config. Pls help.
    Thanks.

Go to VTFL, select the item category for the combination of your delivery type and billing type and maintain routine 011 for the field "Data: VBRK/VBRP".  If you have already assigned a different routine, then add this code
    VBRK-FKDAT = SY-DATUM"
Also the above routine will only propose the system date but it can be changed manually.  In order to prevent this, you can make the date field as grey through billing exit USEREXIT_FILL_VBRK_VBRP (Module pool SAPLV60A, program RV60AFZC).  By doing so, system will always system date (if you applied routine 11) or the actual GI date which cannot be changed.

  • RETURNS BILLING DATE NOT CHANGING

    Hi,
Returns came on : 01-01-2012 and PGR has done on the same day.
Billing RE credit returns has raised on 05-01-2012. While creating invoice for the returns system is creating invoice on 01-01-2012. But actually my client requires dis should happen on 05-01-2012.
I have changed the VTFL ( LR TO RE ) item VBRK/VBRP to Routine "11" But not achieved dis.
Can anybody suggest me how to achieved this.

    Dear
I believe that you have return scenario like this:
    Billing>Return Order(VA01)>DELIVERY+PGR>VF01(Credit for Returns)
before making your credit for returns you remove billing block form return order type
    Now
1.VTAF: Billing to order copy control
    Check at header level
Copying requirements for data transfer VBAK=052
Copying requirements for transferring business data=103
Copying requirements for partner data VBPA=003
    Copying requirement=021
    2.VTFL
    Copying requirements=003
    Determ.export data=

  • Get previous bill date using SQL

    Hi,
I am table which holds records for bill generation. I have column name gene_bill_date which is date field and it holds a value the date on which the particular bill was generated.
Now I am trying to get previous bill date, not the current bill date. I can to Max(gene_bill_date) to get current bill date, but how do I get previous bill date?
    thanks

    Hi,
Sorry, it's unclear what you're asking.
You didn't post any sample data, so I'll use the scott.emp table to illustrate. Let's say we're interested in deptno=30 only, just to reduce the output from 14 rows to 6.
If, for every row, you need to know the most recent gene_bill_date before the one on that row, you can do something like this:
    SELECT     ename
    ,     hiredate
,     LAG (hiredate) OVER (ORDER BY hiredate)     AS prev_hiredate
    FROM     scott.emp
    WHERE     deptno     = 30
    ;Output:
    ENAME      HIREDATE    PREV_HIREDA
    ALLEN      20-Feb-1981
    WARD       22-Feb-1981 20-Feb-1981
    BLAKE      01-May-1981 22-Feb-1981
    TURNER     08-Sep-1981 01-May-1981
    MARTIN     28-Sep-1981 08-Sep-1981
JAMES      03-Dec-1981 28-Sep-1981Are you only interested in the 2 most recent dates in the whole result set?
If so, do a Top-N Query , like this:
    WITH     got_r_num     AS
         SELECT     ename
         ,     hiredate
,     RANK () OVER (ORDER BY hiredate  DESC)     AS r_num
         FROM     scott.emp
         WHERE     deptno     = 30
    SELECT     *
    FROM     got_r_num
    WHERE     r_num     <= 2
    ;Output:
    ENAME      HIREDATE         R_NUM
    JAMES      03-Dec-1981          1
    MARTIN     28-Sep-1981          2
I hope this answers your question.
If not, post a little sample data (CREATE TABLE and INSERT statements, relevant columns only), and also post the results you want from that data.
Explain, using specific examples, how you get those results from that data.
Always say which version of Oracle you're using.

we are facing problem at item level billing date field. This field should be filled with the GI Date in schedule lines shipping tab.
but, it(billing date) is not being filled with goods issue date but, with the required deliver date at sales order header.

    This is from SAP Screen

earlier it is happening as desired.i.e., billing date=GI Date.
but, as of now it is taken from the required delivery date.

    Hi
We have  tables VBAK and VBAP - sale oder
VBRK and VBRP - Billing data
Now problem is that I want to make a BW datasource in ECC in which i create view from which we need to populate data for order and billing together but we are facing problem in case of STO where billing doc canu2019t be create against with Sale order doc

    Hi Krishanan
I am facing the same problem which have been mentioned by you (i am not getting sales doc data for normal sales orders if billing document is not yet created, which might not be desirable in my scenario).
I have also created generic extractor based on view(all data only for sales order) and also creating append structure for all field based on billing data.
but now i am facing the problem in which i need to take VBRK table data based on sales doc but in VBRK table sale doc is not defined.
kindly look into the matter and give the helpful reply.

  • Billing date in sales order should not be modifiable to backwards dates

    hi gurus
I have a requirement where in few users while creating a sales order , they should not be able to modify the billing dates to previous dates . So that particular field shd not be modifiable . Could use some help here .
    Regards
    JNM

    Dear JaganNM,
While creating the billing document in VF01 the billing date will be changed manually by the user.
This change will not applicable in sales order.
Once you save the billing document you can't change the billing date in sales order ,it will be graded out.
Before saving the billing document only the date can be changed in sales order.
Let me know if you have any further clarifications.

  • Check required for Required Delivery date not to be copied in Billing date

    Hi Friends,
We have a requirement by the client that if we change the required delivery date in the order, the billing date should not be changed at the sales order item level.
Requirement comes from the fact that management decides a day on personal negotiation, when should be the billing date and the delivery date is independent of billing date.
As of now ,we are billing based on the sales order therefore the billing date is changed if we change the required delivery date.
I would be grateful,if anybody can help me.
    Regards,
    Amit Kashyap

    Hi Amit,
You have to maintain the invoicing dates in payer master {billing document tab}, which in turn will control the billing dates. As per the agreement with the customer you will create a calender which needs to be filled in the above mentioned field in the customer master.
Reward points if you are satisfied with my view.

  • PR00 not changeable mode in consignment Fillup after billing

    Dear Friends/SAP gurus,
    As u know,
    In Domestic Sales order processing,
ORDER>DELIVERY->BILLING/INVOICE. And once the billing is over, Sales order gets automatically updated and PR00 price condition type at item level will become GREY(No changes can be done after Billing)
But in Consignment sales process(1st step-Consignment Fill-Up) ORDER>DELIVERY>PROFORMA BILLING. As this is not the original Bill, PR00 price condition type in SALES ORDER will be in OPEN MODE( can be changeable)
But as per my client's requirement, even in Consignment Fillup, after creating PROFORMA billing, sales order should ger updated and PR00 price condition type should become GERY(NOT CHANGEABLE MODE).
    we are using PR00---MANUAL CONDITION
kindly help in this regards...points asssured

    Dear krishna
In two ways this could be controlled.
    1)  With the help of your Basis team, authorization should not be provided for those users who you dont want to access VA02.
    2)  By applying User Exit : MV45AFZZ and with the help of ABABer, you can control changing the PR00 value in sale order.

  • Change delivery date on sales order -- change of Billing date on item

    Hi,
We are trying to change a delivery date for a sales order's item, if we do so normally the billing date on that item's billing tab will change automatically also.
Now, for a specific sales order the billing date in the billing tab is not changing.
We compared 2 sales orders .. the same statusses - no blocks - ... and with one it works (changing of the billing date) and with the other it does not work..
    Please help !
    thanks a lot!

    Hi,
    Check the following.
If invoice dates are defined for the customer, the system proposes the billing date from the invoice date calendar. If no invoice dates are agreed, then the actual goods issue date is formed on the basis of delivery related billing. In order related billing, the billing date of the order forms the basis of the billing date.
If you are billing services, the system proposes the date of services rendered. You can change the date manually in the sales document.
If you are using a billing plan to bill a project, the system can propose billing dates for the billing plan on the basis of planned or actual dates in the corresponding milestone.
In a billing plan for a maintenance or rental contract, you can specify rules by which the system determines billing dates on the basis of other dates in the contract.

  • My Bill is not prorated

A month and a half ago, I decided that I did not want to be a customer of Verizon anymore. I decided to port my number to AT&T, since it was in the middle of the month I wanted to make sure that I would not be charged for the rest of the month. Since talking with Customer Support on the phone is often misleading I came to ask the question to the branch I had signed up for my service in. I explained my intentions and I specifically asked if the bill for the month is going to be prorated or not. The representative confirmed that it would be prorated. Also I did not know my pin so I had go to the branch and change the pin for me. Then I started porting over my number. Later I called Verizon Customer Service to confirm, the representative said that the service was still active and I will be charged a fee for the full month. The I went to the branch again, because I wanted to clarify these two  controversial statements in person, an associate that was helping pulled up my account, saw the porting request and confirmed that the bill will be prorated and I would receive a final bill. Having got this confirmation, I went online and confirmed porting request with my new pin.
I have not got the final bill via mail, and I could not log in into online system, instead I just received a notice that there was balance to pay. The number was too big, so I had to go to the branch and spend 1.5h to find out that that I was charged for the full month, because they don't prorate if port out your number. But it is controversial to what I was originally. I was in the branch before and after porting my number, every time I was told that the billing would be prorated. Unfortunately, talking to an associate and a store manager did not help.
I think it makes sense to file a complaint, so I wonder if anyone had similar experience they would like to share?
    Thanks in advance!
As a general advice: whenever you talk to someone from Verizon, make sure they put a note on you profile or try to get at least some sort of record that the conversation has happened and what it has been about.
So far, I find that AT&T Customer Service is mush better and faster, will see how it goes further.
    Looking forward to your replies.

If you ported out a day before your bill closing date you would have no further amount owed since you pay in advance for service up to that date.
However you get no pro rata you just don't owe more to verizon. If you port out before you pay the next bill (one day after the bill closing date up to closing date you owe for the full month even though you ported out )
You did not port out on the last day of you bill date so you will owe.
Now you also did not need to call Verizon and tell them you were leaving. Simply walk into AT&T and give them your account number and pin. Which is normally the last four digits of your SSN.
    They do all the rest.
You made the process much more difficult than it needed to be.
    Good Luck

  • Billing document not relevant at delivery header level

    Hi,
In one of regular scenario i got the Billing document not relevant at delivery header level in processing tab.
can plz advice me that what's the cause for this ?
I am using item category tan at both sales order and delivery level.
    Thanks
    Bhushan

    Hi Bhusan,
    Go to: VOV7
Select Item Cat. as "TAN" and Double Click.
In Tab: Business Data, Check the entry for Field: Billing Relevance.
Entry must be "A - Delivery-related billing document"
    Another check:
    Go to: VTFL
    Select Delivery-Billing Combination.
Go to Item (left-hand tree structure).
    Select Item cat. as "TAN".
Here, in Field: Copying requirement, Check entry as "004 - Deliv-related item"
Hope this may resolve the issue.
    Best Regards,
    Amit
