*Billing Document Splitting with Credit control Area*

Hi
please give me solution for the  following matter
there have some invoice splitting with credit control area from sales order header , because some orders available credit control area some order not available credit control area . can i create one billing document for those without splitting?
thanks
L.C

Hi L.C,
You can see VBAK-KNKLI field differs in sales document. The split is standard system behavior since
these are header fields. Please refer to note 11162 for details on split criteria for invoices.
In order to avoid the split you can either clear the fields in the copy control or you can change your credit management
configuration so that the credit accounts determined are the same.
I hope it can help you.

  • Document Splitting with Different Business Area

    HI
I have a situation, where i need to create a new document type and it needs to be configured in such a way that vendor invoices and credit notes can be booked with the correct doc splitting and using different Business Areas.
I like to know if this is possible, and if yes how.
Earlier the client used to post the transactions, with different business areas, as we get only a warning message to reset the business area of the vendor.
Now that we have activated New G/L accounting, with document splitting we get the warning message,
but then the profit center will not balance, so we have an error.
The client requires that they need to post to a different business area, and the document splitting should happen.
Any suggestions on this will be great.

    Hi Srikanth,
In my config setting under Document Splitting i have the Zero Balance ticked for it.
My Scenario is as an Ex. I am debiting a G/L account for 1000, and giving Business Area X, with a cost Center which is assigned to Business Area X.
And Crediting a Vendor for 1000 with Business Area Y.
Will this scenario work with Document Splitting enabled, i am doubtful on this, but my client needs this.
Can you tell me if this is a possible scnerio.
    If yes then how?

  • Credit Control Area Management

    Dear All
As part of Enhancement,  we are configuring the "Customer Credit management" with Credit Control area organizational object.
Client has identified to use "Decentralized" Credit control management,  but however,  all comapny codes are assigned with one controlling area since implementation (since 2.5 years).
Though Credit Control area was assigned during implementation, it was actually not used.  Now they wanted to use the same.  However,  they wanted different Credit controlling area for different company codes.
However,  If I am assigning new Credit controlling area now to respective company codes, then system is considering the AR transaction data posted from the date it is assigned.  but, we want new credit control areas to consider all the data from past 2.5 years.  Is this possible?
If possible, please help, how to fix this.
    Your help highly appreciated
    best regards
    S Habib Pasha.

    Hi Habib
There is a standard SAP program that lets you revamp all the entered data to their correct credit control area and the steps involved are:
u2022     Table dumps of KNKK, S066, S067 on the old Credit Control Area
u2022     Check and export the values from Report VKM4 to ascertain the number of blocked orders
    u2022     In SM30, Update the Tables T014n and T001cm
u2022     Go to Transaction OB38 and assign your new CCA as default for the company codes
    u2022     Run the transaction F.28/RFDKLI20 execute without any parameters {check the test run output}
    u2022     Execute Program RVKRED09 {might not be required u2013 since RFDKLI20 does redo the credit check}
u2022     Validate VKM4 for all blocked orders
u2022     If there were any discrepancy between AR receivables and the Credit Master, it can be viewed by executing the Program RFCORR40
Also make sure that if you are using the different CCA for the same Co Code, in OB38 - you have checked the 'Overwrite CCA'' check box.
Hope this helps you; let me warn you - its a very tedious process and it might take a whole weekend to run this in a Production Client
    Good luck

  • Credit Control Area incorrectly referenced in billing doc

I have made two credit control areas 1000 and 2000. 1000 is the default cca for the company code.
Now for some sales order the cca is correctly determined which is 1000 but when they reach the billing level the cca changes to 2000 which is unbelievable.
When I check out at the delievery level it is blank.
For most of the sales order it works correctly by referring the cca in the sales orer into the billing document
I am checking the cca values by the backend tables..Cant find any logical solutin
    Kindly Help,
    Sam

    Hi
    Check if:
    1. The 'overwrite cc area' check box is checked in the step Enterprise structure>Assignment>FInancial Accounting-->Assign Conpany code to Credit control area.
The cc area can be over written during document posting if the option is checked
    2. If the sales area related to the order you have created is assigned to the Credit control area in question in the customizing step Enterprise Structure>Assignment>Sales and Distribution-->Assign sales area to credit control area.
    Hope it helps.

  • Different Credit control area in the AR invoice document

    Hi all,
Our client has the line item display field turned on for the AR reconcilation account. When we run FBL3N for this account, we see a credit control area that is different from what is there on the customer line item in the invoice document.
When the invoice was entered in FB70, the default credit control area (that defaults from OB38 - co code assignment to cca) was manually overwritten. The invoice document, FBL5N and BSEG table show the new cca, but for some reason FBL3N for the recon account is still showing the old, default cca.
Did anyone come across a similar scenario?

    Hi Chait!
I have the same problem do you get any positive response about this issue?
    Thanks in advance!

The requirement is there are two credit control areas, XX10, XX12. Now they want only one credit control area ie  XX12,( all customers which are in XX10, should be now with XX12 credit control area) but when  changing the credit control area of a particular customer from  XX10 to XX12, the credit limit and exposure is not displayed in new credit control area. Their credit limit can be set in FD32 T.Code.
Automatic credit check will be maintained in OVA8
    Follow these steps:
    1. Go to IMG - enterprise structure - definition - financial accounting - define credit control area.
    2. Assignment of company code to credit control area & sales area to credit control area.
    3. Go to OVAK select ur sales document type and in the check credit column choose from A B or C. D is for automatic credit control for which you have to maintain the credit group and risk categories.
    4. In FD32 you select your customer and click on STATUS icon and press enter. here u maintain the credit amount allowed. but this is done by the Finance people.
    5. Now when you create the sales order and if the amount exceeds the credit limit then u will get the message as you maintained in the TC OVAK.  Normally the system starts doing credit checks from the second sales.

What are the different types of credit checks?
    By Sunilmadho
    Credit Check can be :
    1) Simple Credit Check
    2) Automatic Credit Control
Automatic Credit Control can be at various levels :
    1) Order
    2) Delivery
    3) Goods Issue
Automatic Credit Check is of many types :
    1) Static
    2) Dynamic
    3) MaximumDocument Value
    4) Maximum Open Items in percentage
    5) Oldest Open Item in number of days
    6) Crtitical fields change
    7) Highest dunning level, etc.
    You can create more.
Credit Check happens only in SD module, never in FI. Because the stage of the check is in the sales cycle, which exists in SD. FI guys will check the credit master sheets of the customer, the MIS, the analysis etc, review the credit limits of customers. But the check will happen only in SD, while creating order, delivery or doing the goods issue.

    4) And assign this credit control area in your customer master Sales Org Data (XD02)
5)if you have maintained the credit control area for your customer then goto T.Code FD32.
6)Enter your customer number and the credit control area.
    7)Select the status tab.Press enter.
8)Maintain the credit limit in the field.Save.
9)Go to OVA8 T.Code and then click on open orde

  • Assign Company Codes to new Credit Controlling areas after going live.

    Dear FI Experts;
    Our Status Now:
We Have 3 Company Codes, CC 1000, 2000, 3000 and one Credit Controlling Area Code 0001, and the Customers are assigned to this Credit Controlling area with no problems and we are live since about 9 months ago.
    Requirement:
We have a requirement to split the Customer Credit limit between companies, which means we have to create more credit control areas for example CCA 0002, and 0003, and though assign our 3 company codes to the new credit control areas, as follows:
    CC 1000 to CCA 0001
    CC2000 to CCA 0002
    CC3000 to CCA 0003
And my Question is, what is the procedures to follow to do that (Not a Customization Procedures, I mean the How the Customers would be affected and the open items for them and how to resolve that), since as mentioned above we are already live since 9 months ago, and credit management is active and all our customers are assigned to our old Credit control area 0001, and also what is the consequence of doing that new assignment since we are live, thanks for your reply

You will need to manage to create new credit master data under new credit control area. System should reorganize existing credit data after reassignment, that is when you change master data (create credit master under new credit control area), new credit exposure is calculated based on AR in company code and existing open orders will get rechecked for credit under new credit control area & new risk categories assigned to them.

  • Credit Control Area.

    Hi Gurus,
In the Change mode of the Customer Master Record, The Credit control area field is not appearing. But in Display mode of Customer Master record it is appearing. What is the reason? How we can enable It in change mode?
    Regards
    Jyothi.

    Dear Jyothi
Go to IMG path -- Financial Accounting --> Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payable --> Customer Accounts --> Master Data --> Preparations for creating Customer Master Data --> Define Screen Layout per Activity (Customers) (TCode OB20).
There if you have created the customer via VD01, then double click on Change Customer (Sales)  and double click on Sales data and again double click on Billing tab.  There you can see the field Hedging and credit contr. area  with different options maintained there.  You have to change here.
If you have created the customer in XD01 initially, then select Change Customer (Centrally)  and proceed as suggested above.
    thanks

  • Two credit control are at the same sales order.

    Hello Gurus,
I would like to know how if you can help with the following subject:
    I have two sales area:
    XXXX YY A1
    XXXX YY A2
And for each sales area it´s assigned two credit control areas, like:
XXXX YY A1  to credit control area A
XXXX YY A2  to credit control area B
Is it possible to create a sales order with these two sales area?
We need to have credit control limit differents for sales area (customers), but also we like two have only one sales order to manage. Is it possible?
    Many thanks in advanced.
    Luiz Geraldi

    Hi Luiz,
In sales booking screen VA01 t-code we have the following fields as necessary input.
    Order Type
    Sales organization
    Distribution channe
    Division
    Sales office
    Sales group
All these fields need to be unique in order to save this document.
So we can input any number of materials provided the above details are unique.
We can have more than 1000 line items, but all these materials need to be in a single sales organization, distribution channel and division.
As this is a standard SAP functionality, i am afraid there is no customization by which we can change this (as far i my knowledge goes)
Hope i am right in my approach,
    correct me if i am wrong;
    Let me know if you have further concerns;
    Regards,
    Syed Nasir

  • Change Credit Control Area in SO

    Dear expert,
After setting "Assign sales area to credit control area" done, how can I change/overwrite default Credit Control Area during creating Sales Order ?
    Many Thanks,
    Blue Sky

Thanks Reazuddin MD for your response
The actual requirement is we currently use one single customer master (Sold to Party). User wants to post sales transactions with different subgroup of customer (such as Regular, Member, Credit etc). And this info must be derived to FI module (Billing transaction) in any object form because FI User want to see line items with different customer subgroup.
Currently, we try to apply customer subgroup with field "Customer Group" in SD; however, this field will not derive to FI module. So, my initial idea is to use "credit control area" mapping with "Customer Group" (1:1) for example,
    Customer Code: 10001
Customer Group (SD)     >     Credit Control Area (SD>FI)
01 (Credit)                                 0001 (Credit) --> Default Value in Sale Area
    02 (Regular)                              0002 (Regular)
    03 (Member)                              0003 (Member)
When user create SO with "Customer Group" = 02, the system has to change Credit Control Area from default sales area (0001) to 0002 by either manually change or user exit.
Or are there any alternatives to take care this requirement.
    Thanks for your useful advice

  • Credit Control area field not appearing in FBCJ

    Hi
I got some amount in cash (advance from customer). Since i got cash, my requirement is that my credit should be increased with that amount.
It works perfectly fine when i get advance in bank. Its because there is field for entering sales credit area in F-29 (advance from customer). But there is no credit control area field in FBCJ (cash journal).
I checked layout also (where i can make fields visible / invisible at the time of posting FBCJ entry). But that field is not there.
    Please help

    Hi Deepak:
We had a similar requirement while we were going through organization restructuring. We made KKBER (Credit control area) parallel to product division in SD and were planning to book all collections with respect to KKBER but FBCJ was the main hindrance in doing so. We raised an OSS note and their reply was as
    Dear Customer:
My understanding is that you want to enter "Credit Control Area" during
FBCJ. I am sorry it is not support by standard program. We received
several same cases from other customer and develper replied as below:
There are two ways through which this is possible. But both are in
    combination with a modification.
    1. If rules are definite and no manual input is necessary customer can
use a substitution at point 2.
But note that fields BSEG-KKBER is not free to substitute in
    standard.
This could be changed - but it is a modification.
Therefore please take a look at note 842318 under 2. b).
    2. The other way is to enhance the table 'TCJ_POSITIONS' and the Dynpros cash journal. This could be done like described in note 214104. In
this note the field assignment was added to the screens of cash
journal. This is only an example for what to do. Split screens are
not considered in this note. Are enhancements of the split screens
necessary? All enhancements have to be done in manual and are
    modifications.
Ultimately instead of going for modifcation in standard screen of FBCJ we resorted to block cash collections in FBCJ and routed them all through F-28 or F-29. Please aslo have a look at 1068200 . Hope this piece of information will help you.

  • Credit Controll area

    Dear all,
I am using one credit control area for two company codes.
    is it right?
if my customer is belong to both company code, i want to give credit limit different as per cmpany code then is it possible?
if i assign credit limit to customer then is it applicable for both company code & consider as a total credit of both company code.
Also is it consider all the values of order, billing from both company code while consider as credit limit.
Plz send me the details regarding the same.
    Thx & Regards,
    PM

    Hello,
There can be one or more company codes under one credit control area, but it is not possible to assign a company code to more than one credit control area.
Within a credit control area, the credit limits must be specified in the same currency.
The credit limits assigned to customers in one company code are limited only to that particular company code.
Normally customers are created independent of the company code i.e. each company code will have their own customer master records.
But if you have the same customer in both company codes...........you can either create a customer master with same customer number with both company codes or with different customer numbers in the customer master record.
If you have the same customer number in both company codes..........then the system will not allow you to have seperate credit limits as the system takes into account the customer number and credit control area while fixing the credit limit (FD31) .
on the other hand if the customer numbers are different, then you have the flexibility to issue different credit limits in different company codes.
so any orders raised in that particular company code will only take the credit limit of the customer from the corresponding company code.
    REWARD POINTS IF HELPFUL
