Billing in CRM standalone

Hello everyone,
Can anyone answer my query as we dont have ECC or any other backend as the customer is only service customer,in which can billing be done in CRM standalone without ECC as backend. pls let me know the process on how to do it or is there any other way to do it.
Regards,
Shiva Puneeth.

Couple of things to Clarify here.. There is no such thing as Financial postings in CRM. If you are referring to Billing..CRM can support creation of Debit Memos only and nothing beyond that. So DMs will become your billing document and any other subsequent Accounting entries are dependent on external system like ECC.
As the other person said, you need to configure the whole 9 yard on Billing in CRM using CRM BEA

  • SAP Business One 8.81 PL08 Mobile APP CRM Standalone User Access issue

    Dear All
Is any facing the problem of Mobile application user with CRM Standalone license ,this user always has a permission denied problem (he is assigned all the licenses required .and authorization on the SAP is full .  SSL certificate is installed ). I have installed the troubleshooting (.zip) file which dosent show up the panel .
    Any Idea how to resolve?
    Regards
    Dayal

    Hi Dayal,
well, it is neither recommended, nor tested or supported. Such installation attempt would go on your own responsibility. Of course you can try if, for example, a newer version from 8.82 works here, but this should be tested extensively, depending on how other processe are based on it.
Actually your 8.81 PL08 should not have reported problem since B1if version 1.10.0 should have been included in this package and last update action, maybe you can check here again.
In general, we recommend you upgrade to version 9.1 currently, unlike version 8.81 this version is in maintenance and offers all improvements, new features and bugfixes from the last 3,5 years.
I'm sure it's worth to consider a general upgrade.
    I wish you success!

  • Create Free Goods in CRM Standalone

    This question is for Paul.
Thanks Paul for your reply to my other question yesterday and I did award points. However, since I am using a standalone CRM there is no way for me to replicate any free goods condition type from from ECC.
My question is, if I have a product A and product B in the CRM standalone system, what configuration I need to make so that when I enter product A in my sales order, product B will be added to the next order line as free goods?
    Your input is appreciated.
    Leon

    Hi Leon,
There is no need to create separate free goods materials/products in CRM. You can make use of the existing materials/products as free goods by assigning appropriate free good condition records. In general free goods master data like materials and pricing condition records can be downloaded from R/3 into CRM. You need to do only the necessary free goods customizing activities under SPRO > CRM > Basic Functions > Free Goods > Setup Free Goods
Please refer to the below SAP help document on free goods for complete understanding : http://help.sap.com/saphelp_crm50/helpdata/en/b7/4a893a8729337be10000000a11402f/frameset.htm
Refer to the section ‘Replicating Condition Customizing (SAP CRM)’ in C03 best practice document for free good condition records master data download into CRM
Refer to the section ‘Replicating Specific Conditions’ in B09 best practice document for free good customizing data download into CRM
Refer to the section ‘Free Goods’ in C34 best practice document for free good CRM customizing activities.

  • Delivary is possible when CRM Standalone system

    Hi Experts,
As I known delivery is not possible in CRM,it is through R/3 Only. If the CRM system is standalone what we have do for delivery.
Can anyone plz give me the inputs.
    Regards
    Bala

You "export" the order to the system that will do that part. CRM does all the stuff from Lead to Order.
The Order to Cash part has to happen in an Enterprise that can process, ship the orders, bill and receive payments.
CRM provides technical framework to exchange the transactions with non-SAP systems such as Web Methods, Ariba etc. The same middleware framework that is used to exchange the data with R/3 can be used to exchange data to non-SAP systems as well. This framework can be very easily configured to send orders as IDOC or XML to an external system very easily.

  • How to create complaints with reference to ECC Billing document (CRM 7.0)

    Hi experts!
    I use ECC 6.0 and CRM 7.0.
I have to create CRM complaints (ZCLR - CLRP) with reference to ecc billing documents.
I read the following topics and help:
    1. How to create complaints with referenceto ECC Billing document
    2. Re: How can we transfer billing documents from SAP ERP to CRM 2007?
    3. http://help.sap.com/saphelp_crm70/helpdata/en/46/029ba32e675c1ae10000000a1553f6/frameset.htm
    Made these settings:
    1. Define the Business object type
Goto SPRO>CRM>Transaction>Settings for Complaints>Integration>Trnsaction Referencing>Define Object types for Transaction reference
    2. Assign Business Object Types to Transaction Types
Goto SPRO>CRM>Transaction>Settings for Complaints>Integration>Trnsaction Referencing>Assign Business Object Types to Transaction Types
    3. Implement a BADI - CRM_COPY_BADI_EXTERN.Check Implementation CRM_COPY_BADI_BILLDO for more information on the coding for referencing the ECC Billing document.
Goto SPRO>CRM>Transaction>Settings for Complaints>Integration>Trnsaction Referencing>BAdI: Create Complaint with Reference to External Transaction.
    but still do not know,
    1) if I should pre-replicate billing documents into CRM ?
    2) Or, the system uses the RFC to find these documents in ECC to create reference?
    Please help me.

  • Billing  in CRM.

    Hi,
Iam facing problem related to billing. I created service order released it. It created billing due list. But it is giving error when creating billing document. It is due to tax calculations.
    errors are:
    IPC error
--0TTE is missing in   even i used without tax pricing in service order.
How to make tax less billing ?
How can i replicate the billing document to ecc.( I did not distribute service order to ecc).I have to distribute billing document only.is this  possible?.
Is CRM supports transfer the  billing document to Account payable in ECC.
I didnot see any option in spro.
How can I post credit memo to Account payble.Awaiting for your great reply.
    Thanks
    John

    Hi John,
    Go to IMG
Path: CRM Middleware and Related Components-->Basic Functions >Pricing>
Define Settings for Pricing-->Create Pricing Procedure
    Select your pricing procedure,
Select 'Control Data' in left panel to see all the condition types in your pricing procedure.
You have a condition type 0TTE marked as mandatory.
    Please uncheck the mandatory checkbox.
    Save the settings.
Pricing Buffer would get refreshed at 12 am night and then you will find the settings in effect.
Else you can restart IPC and can test the same.

  • Delivery Related Billing in CRM

    Hi,
I have created a sales order into CRM & same document replicates into ECC. From ECC sales order I can create delivery.
But I require Billing to be occured into CRM System.
Kindly tell what settings are requiredin CRM.
    Thanks
    Natasha

    Hi Natasha,
Make sure that you have made the following settings in Customizing for Customer Relationship Management:
You have set the billing relevance Delivery-Related Billing or Delivery-Related Billing – No Zero Quantities for the relevant item category.
You do this by choosing Billing Define Billing Relevance of Item Categories .
The billing-relevance Q is set for the corresponding item category in SAP ERP. This ensures the following:
Billing takes place in SAP CRM and not SAP ERP.
After billing, the status of the delivery item in SAP ERP is set to Billed and the billing document item is included in the document flow for the delivery item.
You have specified that the billing item category assigned to the sales order is a dependent item. This ensures that the billing due list item created for the sales order cannot be billed independent of the delivery.
You make this setting by choosing Billing Define Billing Item Categories and setting the Dependent Item indicator for the relevant billing item category.
    Example
In the standard system, the billing item category TAND is predefined for delivery-related billing. It can be assigned to transaction type TA (Sales Order) and the item category TAN (Sales Item) under Billing Item Category Determination Assign Item Categories .
    End of the example.
You have assigned a separate billing item category to the transaction type and item category that are used for the delivery. This enables the system to assign the correct billing type and billing item category to the billing due list item for the delivery.
    Example
The billing item category TAN is predefined in the standard system. It can be assigned to transaction type LF (Outbound Delivery) and the item category TAN (Sales Item) under Billing Item Category Determination Assign Item Categories .
    Process
The flow of data in delivery-related billing is:
A user creates a sales order in SAP CRM.
The system replicates the sales order in SAP ERP.
The system creates a dependent item in the billing due list, containing billing information from the sales order.
A user creates a delivery in SAP ERP.
The system updates the delivery status in the SAP CRM sales order, and updates the transaction history.
A user posts a goods issue in SAP ERP.
This works well . Give me some stars for the solution

  • Pricing in crm standalone server

    Hi All,
Can anybody tell me how to configure pricing in standalone server. If it is possible can anybody send me the document for configuration?
    Thanx
    Saravana

    Hi sarvana,
Firstly you are working in crm 4.0 or crm 5.0?
If crm 4.0 the ipc must be activated so that your pricing which you have configured using the condition techniques works.
If crm5.0 the ipc starts as the server is started and you have to configure the pricing using the condition techniques.
Then you have to assign your sales org, dist chnl, div ,doc pricing procedure to your pricing procedure you defined.
    Hope this helps you

  • Advice needed on CRM Standalone

    Hi.
We are going to use CRM for our presales transactions (activities, leads, opportunities) and IC help desk. We will not replicate any documents to R/3 hence the decision to implement CRM as a standalone component.
Is this a good way of implementing CRM based on our requirements? Or do you recommend otherwise?
    Thanks.

    Hi Rosette,
    As far as:
    1. you are not planning to use products and pricing,
    2. do not want to perform any analytics and
    3. only going to use Activities, Leads and Opportunities,
I think you can use CRM as a standalone. But also consider if the rest of the sales cycle are to implemented anytime in the future, then it would require little more effort for the modification.
    Hope this answers your question.
    Jash.

  • Periodic billing in CRM

    Hi,
I would like your assistance on a billing topic in CRM.
    System: CRM 5.0 and ECC6
    Scenario:
    - Customer calls to purchase service
    - Once the price is given to the customer the customer decides not to purchase because it is too expensive to pay it upfront
    - The agent offers the customer the option to pay monthly (periodic billing)
    Situation:
    - Would like to change the billing plan at the transaction level
Is there an option to change billing plan in CRM in the sales order?(In R/3 you can change billing plan in the transaction)
Assumption: Billing is done in R/3

Possibilities to change are depending on the kind of scenario for the exchange of the document (table CRMPAROLTP, entry CRM_SCENARIO).
After the document was replicated to R/3 and invoice has been created from R/3, this might block the change in CRM.
If really no other solution, set reason for cancellation in order item and create new item for contract with updated billing plan.

  • Issue regarding sales area data in CRM standalone system

    Hi Guys,
Currently we are working CRM 5.0 portal standalone system. we have defined a division and assigned it to Organization Structure. But when the user tries to assign the sales area in account management the system gives 2 options like
1.sales organization distribution channel and division
2.sales organization distribution channel and division(as blank)
now the user wants only with the combination of sales organization and distribution channel. Is there any way by which the sales araea without division can be deleted. so that it does not appear in Account managemnt sales area .
    Regards
    Basavaraj Patil.

    Hi Patil,
I couldn't check on my system at the moment.
But I just wonder if this has something to do with Dummy division.
Check that on SPRO (setting for master data org model, there is Dummy Division setting)
    Hope this helps.
