Billing info
I've been having problems with my billing info lately. I received a pre paid credit card for a birthday and used it to purchase some apps. I over-drafted the credit card and now have an outstanding balance of approximately 5$. I have a lot of apple store credit, can I use that to pay off the balance? How do I remove the credit card from my account and just simply use apple money again?

How do I remove that credit card from my account
Click on your name at the top right of iTunes (or click Sign In) then select View Account info.
Update your credit card info with a new valid credit card.
can I use iTunes gift cards to pay off the outstanding balance?
Since that outstanding balance is for Apps and you are in Canada, you cannot use a Gift card to pay off that balance.

If it says your billing info is wrong that means that your credit card issuer is refusing to approve your account. You will have to solve the problem with your bank or credit card company.

If you are just visiting Singapore, then leave the account as it is. If you have moved there, then view your account using the iTunes app on a Mac or PC and change the country/region to your current location and address. If you do not have a bank card, you can fund your account using iTunes gift cards if available in Singapore.

i used this card called a 3v card which is a credit card you top up everytime you top up in selected shops you are given a reciept on this dare is all the information you need like cvv codes and exipiry dats and all that everytime you purchase a reciept your issued with new details i had 20 in my account bought a item off the icarbons for 13 euro so i had 7 left i said il purchase some apps for my ipod so i entred in all the details into my ipod i sucessfully bought items but now that the card is empty everytime i try and download a free app it says billing info wrong an rings me to the billing info page how can i fix this problem ?????
Part of the validation for credit cards is that they need to be registered to exactly the same name and address that you have on your iTunes account, which prepaid cards tend not to be. Do you have a proper credit card that you could use ? Or are iTunes gift cards available in your country so that you could try using them as your payment method ?
Until you have a valid payment method on your account and what you owe iTunes has been paid off then you won't be able to download any item from the store, including free apps (and updates to apps). -
My ipad2 isn't allowing me to download any apps. When I try to download a app it prompts me too update my billing info. I did that and it said invalid security code for my credit card. It just started this two days ago, before I had no problems. Please help my apple friends

I spent 5 dollars on a app on my phone. It didnt ask me for anything about my debit card then. Now one of my apps needs to be updated. It asked me to sign in and update my billing info. I go i change my security code and the experation. I also made sure everything else was correct and it was. When i pressed done it said "your payment method was declined". I checked my bank to see if i have money and i do lol but it wont accept my new debit card and im about to do some stupid **** because im ******

Using a debit card in any online service where it stores your card is a bad idea in any case since if someone gains access to your account in the service, they can quickly drain your bank account. Credit cards limit your liability, as do prepaid iTunes cards. But if you insist, you can contact the iTunes Store and ask if they can help:

i have iphone 3g. i was working well. about 2 months earlier i bought an app of $2.99. after then every thing was okay. but last week i installed some free games and 2 days later itunes send me a reciept via email and you guyz charged me $34. now whenever i try to install free apps they want my billing info. please i need your help and want those money back.
$34 for free games , i will show u the reciept. if its not possible to get the money back i will forced to take proper action.
thank you sir /madam.The games might be free but I think you've clicked In-App purchase which cost money. You are warned before you accept the In-App purchase. You not that young and you can read so take action if you must. It's your own fault and all purchases are final. Good luck.

If you had money in your account when you purchased a paid app and Apple didn't claim on the payment to your bank until after the download it maybe that there was insufficient balancce in your account to complete the purchase and therefore you'll need to wait until you have the funds to make the payment, when you have billing issues it won't even let you download free apps.
If that isn't the case then give iTunes store a call or email them and they can tell you exactly what is wrong with the account -

I cannot download apps anymore. Free apps. I used a card of mine that had a few dollars on it to purchase two games that were 99 cents. I had close to three dollars. If you were trying to use a debit card then they I don't think that they are still accepted in all countries,or your card issue may have declined the purchases. Do you have a different card that you could try so that what you owe can be paid, or are iTunes gift cards available in your country so that you can redeem one onto your account - if iTunes thinks that you owe money then you won't be able to download anything until what is owed is paid, or you've contacted iTunes Support and they've agreed that you don't owe anything
