Billing Output fails as no Communication type from srategy

Dear Experts,
I am trying to process two billing output types on maintaining condition records ( for a debit memo type)for table 916. I can see these output types are defaulted in the debit memo output screen but they are becoming red and the processing log states that no communication type from strategy ANZ could be used.
I have used communication strategy ANZ in the condition record as I found the same maintained in the production.
These out put types are already available for the normal trade billing type and biz needs these output types in the debit memo.
The Output determination is there with Output determination procedure V10000. There requirement type attached is 60.
I need that these output types are processed successfully in the billing document in green
would you please help?

My issue is resolved & the outputs in the debit memo got successfully processed now. The issue was I had to maintain Cover page text: TDCOVTITLE in the condition record as MSAS, BP country as carrier information. This is because the program check the ‘Carrier’ presence and check the Email address from LFA1 table ( with MSAS ) and retrieve field ADRNR and see the Email into ADR6 table.

Create Billing Output from VA01

Hi everyone!
I wonder is it possible to create an invoice with billing output immediately?
I usually use create sales order VA01, create billing due list VF04, create billing output VF31;
I'd prefer to be able to key on an invocie and for it to create a billing document in my spool right away without having to wait on the overnight process or manually pushing it using VF04 & VF31.
Any ideas?

Hi,
For this change to appear we have to go for some seetings.They are mentioned below.
1.Goto the T.Code "NACE".
Select the application as "V3(Billing)".
Click on "Output types".
Select your output type.
Click on "Details" or Press "CtrlShiftF2".
Maintain the value as "4(Send Immediately(when saving the application))" for the field "Despatch time".
Check the value for transmission meduim.Ithink it is "1(Print output)".
Save.
2.Goto the T.Code "VV31".
Enter your output type.
Press Enter.Select your valid condition table if multiple tables exists.
Enter.
Maintain the valid values.Select that maintained entry.
Click on "Communication".
Maintain the output device as "LOCL".
And also check the box "Print Immediately".
Save.
If you create the invoice by using VF01,then the out put will be triggered automatically.
Or Goto T.Code VA02/VA01.After entering al the values,Click on "Sales document" in th emenu bar and then click on "Billing".
Even in this case also output will be triggered automatically.
If you want,then you can reprocess this output by using the T.Code "VF01",by selecting the processing mode as "2".

One Output with multiple communication types

Hello,
My requirement is to print the document as well as send an email to the customers from the same output. Basically One output with multiple communication types ( PRINT & EMAIL). How to configure this in the output type configuration area? Please reply. Thanks

This should be possible with the same output type,
have the output type defined with multiple medium in NACE under processing routines. (say print out in one line & external send in another).
have the condition record maintained appropriately for different customers with different medium.
Note: if your access has customer, dont think you can maintain both 1 & 5 for the same access.
if this functionality is required, i think you can acheive this by maintaining the output under different access, but this will not ensure the same condition type flowing into the document unless the earlier condition type goes to processed status.

IDOC Posting problem Through Billing Output Type

Dear Friends,
I have strange problem for IDOC posting through Billing Output Type.
We are using same output type for Partial / Final settlements through Billing Output type.
For Final settlements IDOC posted and generated account document is perfect, But for Partial settlement we are always getting message data is missing "No batch input data for screen SAPMF05A 0700 (Message no. 00 344)".
I tried to reprocess same IDOC in foreground then we are getting message "Posting is only possible with a zero balance; correct document"
(Message no. F5 060).
Could you please suggest me

Triggering output type from VL02N

Hi,
I need to attach some kind of routine to VL02n.
The requirement is that in VL02N, on goods issue, an output type is supposed to be triggered.
Please suggest me as to how to trigger this output type on goods issue.
The functionality is like this.......on triggering the output type, idocs are generated. SO i need to write a routine sort of from where i can trigger and then write the idoc related code

Got this error when opening the peopletools application designer 8.49. The same is working fine within the server, but not working from the client's machine.
We can still able to connect to the database & URL

Looks like a SQL error. ARe you able to connect to the database with SQL*Plus ? Probably the Oracle client is badly configured.

[Solved] VLC 'Audio output failed' no sound from anything

Very new to Arch so not sure what outputs to post.
I installed arch about a week ago with no dramas, then after installing xfce-volumed I lost all sound and got this from vlc:
Audio output failed:
The audio device "default" could not be used:

So I did a new install and only installed vlc and the same thing happened again.

No. I doubt it's a hardware problem either. It's a matter of getting the right sound drivers loaded for your card. Don't give up on Arch yet. These are the experiences you embrace with Arch. Not run away from! :-)
You said you were new to Arch so stick to the Beginner's Guide starting out https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Beginners'_Guide . Make sure you read every single sentence related to "sound".

It mentions installing some packages from the AUR.
For AUR, you really want to install "yaourt".

Once you have that installed then you use it just like pacman with all the same switches. So to install the "alsa-driver.hda-intel.hda-codec-realtek-git" package from the AUR as the Realtec_ALC892 wiki page suggests, you'd issue "yaourt -S alsa-driver.hda-intel.hda-codec-realtek-git" from the command line running as your regular user.
Don't give up. It's time to dig!

Generate XML file from Billing Output

In this regard, could you please guide the steps to configure or share the document on how the system to be configured to support the XML file generation from billing document.

another option is to configure an outbound IDOC and set the port for this IDOC to generate an XML file.
here again there will be IDOC control record in the first section of the IDOC XML generated.'

Communication Types missing from ESS Address screen

We are using the standard Web Dynpro iView for Address (under Personal Information) for ESS. However, there are no fields on the screen for the Communication Type fields that are on infotype 0006 (P0006-COM01, P0006-NUM01, P0006-COM02, P0006-NUM02, etc.).
Is there some type of configuration that has to be entered on the iView properties to assign the communication type to each P0006-COMxx value (such as COM01='CELL')???
Any help would be appreciated! I haven't been able to find anything in OSS or here in the SDN forums that explain how you make the Infotype 0006 Communication type fields available in the Web Dynpro app.

I have an SAP PDF presentation named "The New Architecture of Employee and Manager Self-Services (ESS & MSS)" which has a screen shot of the ESS Address screen. In this document, the screen shot shows an input field for "Cell Phone". (This presentation is showing the newer Web Dynpro screens, but I do not see a reference as to which ESS business package was used for the screen shots.)
When I saw this screen shot from SAP, I thought that maybe there was a way to include the communication type fields by defining somewhere which communication type should be used for each field (suchas COM01=CELL,COM02=FAX1, etc.)
If anyone else has actually seen the Communication Types on the screen, just as the SAP presentation shows, please let me know! I am curious if these were shown in a earlier release of the ESS Web Dynpro apps.

Send billing output to multiple email adresses

Hi,
we need to configure our output determination to be able to send billing invoices via email to multiple recipients.
In our old 4.6c environment it worked with output type 5 when we added multiple comma separated email-addresses to the customer master record.
After applying some kernel updates, this does not work anymore.
does anyone have experience with that?
I tried to set it up for output media 7 (SAPoffice) and wanted to get it working with SAP distribution list. but I struggle and I am at the point where I feel like I have tried everything.
Maybe it's just an easy setting I'm missing.

Mail via SAPoffice (RML)
Any thoughts on this are appreciated. We are on ECC 6.0 SP14.

Need to pull License type from GTS to R3 in case of STO documents

Hi Gurus,
Currently, In standard sales order process, we are using 2 functional modules in R3 to get the ECCN number and license type from GTS. This is required to populate on some billing output.
Functional modules used are:
/SAPSLL/***_DOCS_SD0C_FETCH_R3
/SAPSLL/***_DOCS_SD0C_GET_R3
Using above mentioned functional modules, we can only pull ECCN number and license type from GTS only if we pass sales document number to this FM and further system pulls ECCN and license type from GTS by referring the sales document number.
Issue:
We have a requirement is to pull the License type in case of STO documents also but STO documents/STO deliveries are not checked for GTS check, so we can not use above mentioned functional modules to pull the license type from GTS to R3 because STO/PO / deliveries do not exist in GTS.
I just have the material number with me and I need to pull the license type from GTS to R3.
Could anyone please advise the table name or any structure where i can pass the material number in GTS and can pull the license type to R3.
