I intend to implement a Calling card platform on Cisco 3640.I have got Cisco 3640, TFTP server for the Prompts etc.The only thing I need is any Evaluation/trial Copy of a third Party Billing Software which can supports VSA so that I can test my setup before buying any third Party Billing Software.I want to Simulate and Test the Setup first.Can anyone help me please with any Trial/Evaluation copy of the Billing Software....

Set up prepaid calling card for international calls?

I have a prepaid calling card that I use for calling international. The way it works is that I have to call a 866 number, followed by entering a 10 digit code, and then proceed to calling the actual number (with international prefix codes). Is there a way to set this up as international call default so that I do not have to modify all my international contact's phone numbers to include this procedure?

Prepaid Calling Cards Solution

Hello,
I am the IT manager in a Telecom company.
I have to setup or implement a Prepaid Calling cards solution in a country network.
I will have 90 E1 (side PSTN : signalling could be R2 ) and an Internet provider from the other side ( which will link us to the other countries).
i am looking for a whole cisco solution ( gateway ,billing..), i was not able to find any useful info on the Cisco web site( sample config,...).
Could any one advise me
1-what devices should i use to make my prepaid calling cards solution running and operational( billing + gateways ..) taking into consideration the recommendations mentioned above( 90 E1 R2 signalling)
2- what are the components of a prepaid calling cards solution, if you could provide me with documents ,web links sample config ..to clarify further this issue.
what i am intersting in is my side , the other sides( other countries) are already setup.

Nope. You can only have one credit card attached to an account at a time. Its not that big of a deal to use two accounts, users do this all the time. Create the second account(UK Account) in iTunes on your computer...sign out of your Italian account first. Then authorize your computer for this new account: Store>Authorize this computer. Then sync your phone. Now, to switch accounts on your phone: Settings>Store...tap the ID shown...sign out...then sign back in with the ID you want to use.

Management software for VIC [M81KR] card "Cisco VIC Ethernet Interface" - Win 2k8R2

I am configuring a blade presently that has a VIC (M81KR) card installed.
In the UCS profile, I configured 4 vNICS
- 2 vNICS for Public (One on Fabric A, one on Fabric B)
- 2 vNICS for Private (One on Fabric A, one on Fabric B)
I have installed the OS (Win Server 2008 R2) and the Ethernet Drivers (Cisco Ethernet Driver).
What I want to be able to do is to bond/team the links together and tag VLAN traffic.
-- I've downloaded the Utility ISO from Cisco, however there is no management software for the VIC (That I can see). There is only software for:
+ Broadcomm, QLogic & Emulex..

Just to add to Simon's comments, we rely on fabric failover rather than a teaming driver. This take the load off the host and puts it on the adaptor hardware.
The only other use case I've heard of for the teaming is in full width blades such as the B250 & B440, where customers may want to team across the two adaptors for great redudancy. As the MTBF for the adaptors is extremely high, this wasn't seen as a priority/concern. If you have another business or technical requirement that FF will not solve, please let me know so I can feed this back to our development team.
As for the VLAN driver, at present you need to configure unique NICs for each VLAN. I've pushed on this request for some time and I'm told it has been planned for a future release. I'll check to verify which release the Palo VLAN tagging driver (for windows) is tentatlively planned for and get back to you.

Program dialling for a calling card?

I use a pre-paid calling card that has the dialling sequence:
1) Unhook, dial 4 digit number to call the service (1544)
2) Wait about 6 seconds
3) Dial "2" to select English
4) Wait for prompt to send 12 digit card number followed by "#"
5) Dial required international number followed by "#".
In iOS5, this sequence in stored in Contacts worked fine: 1544,,,2;123456789012#
In iOS6 it fails nearly every time. What's changed? Where can I find the latest dialling command codes?

To answer my own question, there aren't any codes, just "pause" and "wait" available when editing phone numbers in Contacts. These are documented in iOS 5 but not in iOS 6, so it's impossible to debug my problem. Also, Apple makes the * and # characters unavailable to apps, so no dialler app can fix my problem either. Thanks, Apple. However, I did find a solution, its called Nokia.

That would depend on what you bought. Check with the manufacturer and see if they have the drivers you need.
We have some PCMCIA GPIB cards here from a manufacturer that does not support that card anymore. The only GPIB commands that I could get to work in LabVIEW were the old direct GPIB commands and even then, we had to rebuild a laptop with windoze 95.

Go to your account on your computer and set the credit card to none. This will allow you to use the gift card.

Why can't I update software for my Airport card?

I have an iMac (5,2) with a 1.83 GHz processor and 1 gig of memory, running OSX 10.5.8.
It;s a great machine but I need wireless-n and wanted to install the enabler. I checked all the requirements, which I met, and paid for it on the Apple Store.
Directions said to first install AirPort Extreme Update 2007-002, then AirPort Extreme 802.11n Enabler in that order.
I meet all criteria for these updates as given on Apple site, but I keep getting a message that my computer does not "meet requirements for this update."
The Network tility definitely shows that my Airport Card is only enabled for a/b/g, so I'm completely puzzled here == don't know why this updatw on't take. Can anyone help?

And... someone e-mailed me last night to say that I have the only Duo 2 Core Intel iMac model ever manufactured that CAN'T use the wireless-n enabler. This is very frustrating -- basically that machine was outdated the second I bought it, brand new, because other machines being made at exactly the same time had that capability. Grrrr, arrgh.
Basically, this wireless-g machine is slowing down the resat of our wifi network when it logs on.
So far it also looks like there is no way for me to replace/upgrade the Airport Extreme card in my machine to one that uses wireless-n. Does anybody know of a way to do this that I haven't been able to find?

Used a prepaid credit card on my account, can no longer download free apps. Cannot remove from billing information.

Firstly, if this is the wrong category, I apologize.
I used a prepaid credit card on my apple account to purchase an app add on for $2. The credit card only had $2.50 on it, which is why I used it. Now that I spent what was on it, I am not able to download even free apps from the app store. I have tried signing out and back in to try and erase the data, didn't work. I tried to create a new Apple ID and for some reason the option to not have a credit card on your billing info is no longer there like it was when I made my original account. I also tried to go through iTunes on my PC to fix the issue, it didn't work. I don't have another credit card to put on my account as I always use pre-paids as needed. Does anyone know how to get this card off of my billing information so I can download the free apps again?!

AAA Radius Authentication for Calling Card Platform

I am using AS5350 and I am using it for calling card application using Clear Box as my RADIUS Server for AAA. My question now, how would I know if cisco is sending the dtmf for "enter card number.au" on the RADIUS server ? Does the card number included on the VSA ? below are my configurations and the debug info. The problem here is that the card number that I entered doesn't able to match against the configuration on my Clear Box/SQL Database. I want to know what should I expect from CiscoAS5350 to send a vsa for enter_card_number ?

Greeting card software for Mac?

So, I switched my parents over to a Mac Mini a month ago. They really like it, but they miss having their "Greetings Workshop" greeting card software from their old Windows computer.
So, I'm trying to find something they can use instead. I've found a couple programs, but from many years ago. Something free would be best (either downloadable or online), but they're willing to pay for one too.

For freebie software, check out http://www.versiontracker.com or http://www.macupdate.com. They have search options so you can find programs that are built for making greeting cards, however nobody can guarantee those programs will work (properly). They take submissions by everyone from major corporations to teenagers who're punching out their first programming efforts. Its worth a shot to check'em out though. Beyond that, however, you can create greeting cards in various word processors, including apple's Pages. I love the program myself, but some folks havent found it to be the most intuitive. Additionally, while it has starter templates, its more of a raw "start from scratch" program.
