Billing, Upgrading, Downgrading, Unhappy

First off I am very upset, so I am giving you a warning!  We currently use business Catalysis for our Website. My website designer signed us up for the 79.99 plan. When I noticed we did not need the email feature or any of the other features I asked to downgrade to 16.99 a month and please be refunded 79.99 to our credit card.
1. I was never refunded the money for the 79.99
2. It was less than a day that I had this plan changed and someone told me I cant receive a refund

No there is no refund applicable & we do not refund for a change plan.
You paid $79.99 on 8 May 12 for WebCommerce 10 monthly plan.
You have downgraded the site to the webMarketing & requested to go onto annual which is $203.88 which will be charged yearly from 8 Jun 12 which is when the next invoice recurrence was due.

    Ok, this is a bit complicated for me, so bare with me as I try to get out the relevant info.
    My girlfriend currently has a LG Ally, due for an upgrade in less than a month.  I have a HTC Rezound I got fairly recently.  As far as data usage, we use very little; as in, usually less than 1gb a month, but are currently on a grandfathered unlimited data family share plan (forgot the phone minutes, but it's the smallest one with unlimited texts).  I have several other phones, including a Droid and a couple of "dumb" phones.
    We recently have been looking to get a tablet.  The thing is, if we have another "smart" device, I'm not seeing the need for having two smart phones.  In fact, a big deterrent for me using my Rezound to it's capacity is I simply like browsing the internet on a larger surface.
    So ultimately, to get the best bang for our buck, I'm wondering if it's possible to give my girlfriend my Rezound and I use a flip phone and a tablet with LTE capability.  Is is possible to upgrade her while downgrading myself?
    Also, there are other possibilities to consider.  I could upgrade her phone, keep my phone and use only wifi on the tablet that I purchase (which, to be honest, I'd rather not be dependent on the phone in that way.)  According to my calculations, it should be approximately the same with the Share Everything Plan.  We could simply switch our phones and buy a tablet separate.
    Ultimately, the end result should be my girlfriend gets an upgrade, I get a tablet, and I don't care what happens to my phone (whether upgrade, downgrade, or neither) as long as I have one.
    What are my possible options?  Things to note:  the Ally is a 3G phone, the Rezound is a 4G with a simcard.

    Since you already have the Rezound you can transfer it to your girls account without issues but you still have understand you may loose unlimited data and if you go to a non-smartphone have to change data plan for that device.

    Tablets require a data plan on them so I do not think this will be workable..  You can use it on wifi to keep data use down but a data plan is usually included with the purchase on contract but I am not sure if you buy it at full price.

    Without know which account has the unlimited plan it is hard to be sure how to do the upgrade without changing your billing on your account.

    3G and 4G isn't much of a factor when it comes to billing anymore because of the new data plans put in place.
    With the info supplied I would say it may be wise to consider...
    Use your girls update to get the tablet... 
    Transfer Rezound to your girls account to allow her to have the device..
    Activate one of your older Android devices on your account to leave Unlimited Data intact (If your account is the Unlimited One)

  • Service Product Upgrade/Downgrade functionality

    Just wanted to ask a question about the eCommerce functionality on BC. My client has a service/support product that they sell to Members. They have various levels of this product eg. Pro, Regular & Basic.
    One of the features of this service is that Members can upgrade/downgrade between these products as they need to. What I need to know is whether BC can handle that type of request, here are a couple of examples:
    Customer on Pro level, wants to downgrade to Basic for 3 months, therefore they should get a discount for that perdiod of time. How would that work?
    Customer on Regular level, needs to upgrade to Pro but has already paid for a certain amount of time at Regular, so therefore thay should only pay the balance between the Regular subscription and the Pro subscription for the time left in their current subscription and after that they would pay the full Pro subscription fee?
    I hope the above makes sense, I’m a designer more that a eCommerce guru..
    Does anyone know whether this functionality is easy to achieve in BC?
    or whether I should be looking elsewhere...

    Looks like I should not apply this patch, it assume the version of 11.2.0.2, I am on 11.2.0.1.
    What took me off a little was this statement me in the BUG:12317756 - DBCONSOLE PERFORMANCE PAGE NO LONGER DISPLAYS ON LINUX
    "it used to work in previous versions including 11.2.0.1"
    and this is not true for me - I have 11.2.0.1. and it is not working - the graph can not be displayed.
    So I guess I am back to the original question I was asking about in my other post. Let me see if other 2 Notes you provided will take me to any other patch

    Please, can someone help me. My iPod nano is 6 months old and worked fine until I upgraded iTunes to 7.0 and then it was no longer recognized by iTunes. Over several weeks of using Apple support pages & forums this is what I've tried:
    *Installed iTunes version 7.0.2
    *Restarted the iPod Service thru My Computer
    *Uninstalled iTunes 7.0.2 & deleted all itunesPrefs & iTunesLibrary files
    *Emptied the Temp directory
    *Turned off "fast user switching" in windows
    *Download iTunes version 6.0.5
    *Disabled third party System Services & Start Up Items
    *Plugged in iPod & got message "The software required for communicating with the iPod is not installed correctly. Please reinstall iTunes to install the iPods software."
    *Installed Ipod Updater 2006-06-28, restarted computer & updated the iPod
    Still iTunes does not recognize the iPod. I am afraid to use the Updater to restore because it will delete the songs on the iPod & it still might not be recognized in iTunes.
    Please, any suggestions? I'm ready to give up.

    Something I forgot to add:
    Before I downgraded to iTunes 6.0.5, I plugged a relatives iPod into my computer. It showed up in My Computer and also in iTunes.

    X4100 is giving me lots of problems, I upgrade to ILOM 1.3 following Sun docs but Redirection started to give me problem during Windows 2003 installation.
    I checked some forums and decided to downgrade to ILOM 1.2.1 but now when I log into Web Gui a message like this appears: - IPMI not initilized start new session. This error doesn't allow to use some Webgui and CLI functions.
    I cannot use upgrade function.
    Please help. I need to install the system this week.
    How to recover from this position.
    How to reset everything and start from scratch.

    I checked patch 7111245 in linux x86-64, there isn't any pre request patch for that, but in readme of patch HPUX itanium 7111245 in pre request list there is one patch (14739378) as pre request, so it's in HPUX itanium only.
    *4) I think it's because of my OPatch version (14739378 as prerequest), can i downgrade my opatch version between 11.1.0.6 and 11.1.0.9 that patch 7111245 could be applied??*no, it's wrong completely

    After last upgrade of kernel and video drivers i got a blank screen with no tty console.

    I found out that the solution would be "to boot from external media, chroot and downgrade kernel to 3.9.9"
    Questions:
    1.How would i do that?
    2.Should i downgrade or upgrade (if with  the new kernel the issue is fixed)?

    If the new kernel is fixed, that's the best answer by far. If it's not, downgrade until it is.

  • PHP fails after mysql upgrade/downgrade [SOLVED]

    After upgrading mysql a whole load of things got fugly.
    My mod_python stop working with the databases and I had to downgrade to the previous version but now I have a new problem.
    In PHP (another of the laguages I use for business) no longer wants to read the downgraded file and insists in reading the newest version of the shared files so it produces these error:
    PHP Warning: PHP Startup: Unable to load dynamic library '/usr/lib/php/20060613/mysql.so' - libmysqlclient.so.16: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory in Unknown on line 0
    Apr 14 21:26:50 dragonfly httpd: PHP Warning: PHP Startup: Unable to load dynamic library '/usr/lib/php/20060613/mysqli.so' - libmysqlclient.so.16: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory in Unknown on line 0
    I have spent the entire day dealing with this to no avail. By now I'm pissed and frustrated,  so I decided to post; perhaps I'm missing something really simple.

    When MySQL upgraded to version 5.1 I had to do the following:
    (Note, you may want to try step 4 FIRST, but in my case I had to reset my root password for some reason.)
    1) Stop the MySQL Daemon:
    /etc/rc.d/mysqld stop
    2) Restart MySQL in SAFE MODE and RESET the Root Password:
    mysqld_safe --skip-grant-tables &
    then do
    mysql -u root mysql
    UPDATE user SET password=PASSWORD('MYPWORD') WHERE User='root';
    FLUSH PRIVILEGES;
    exit
    3) Then stop the safe Daemon and restart MySQL normally:
    /etc/rc.d/mysqld restart
    4) Then I had to run mysql_upgrade:
    mysql_upgrade -u root -pMYPASSWORD
    I think mine screwed up because I used MySQL GUI Tools which is still at version 5.0. I don't know FOR SURE, but that is my opinion.
    I also had a problem initially where the "mysql.servers" table was missing. I have no idea why, but it took me a couple of hours to get everything working again. I feel your pain. But if you're brace you might try upgrading to 5.1 again and see if these instructions work for you. I had to do this on TWO machines, and it worked on both of them.
    I'm also open to hear from anyone else that could explain what went on.

    my question is if they upgrade to a4 or d11 from an a3 machine can they downgrade back to a3 if they see no sign of improvement?

  • Wi-FI signal horrible since Leopard Upgrade(Downgrade Really)

    Ever since I upgraded (really downgraded) to Leopard my wi-fi had been horrible. Every time I my computer goes to screen saver or sleep my signal is gone and my current downloads stop.     I have isnstalles IPhone OS 3.0 recently (official phone, no MB496PL), everything is alright, but I also have a router D-Link DIR-300. Earlier my phone connected successfully to the Internet through the router using VPN, but now it is only detecting the Wi-Fi network and what is more - very poor.
    After that I reinstalled the OS for several times and restored with the previous ones, but nothing could help me.
    Besides, my friend also has got DIR-300 and has to use VPN to get acsess to the Internet, but unlike me he is sucsessful in the connections.

  • Oh Dear BT has upgraded downgraded my line

    Well they declared it as an upgrade but
    The speed is the same
    My netgear kept dropping out every couple of minutes where previously it would stay connected for weeks
    The homehub which I reconnected is, well.... a homehub so obviously I want to go back to the netgear
    Does anyone know what they will have done because all they seem to have achieved is to force me back to using a homehub, which drops out every few hours and totally lost itself around 11:00 this morning until I got home, investigated and did a reboot. My daughter couldn't use the internet for her university work due to BT's "UPGRADE"

    Does FIOS charge any kind of one time fee to upgrade or downgrade TV and Internet?
    What about if you are under a 2 year contract and want to downgrade?  Do you lose the discounts?

    Discounts would depend on what you are dropping.
    But generally you can downgrade your service (ie go to lower tier TV package or Internet) without affecting contract.
    Discounts may be affected.
    If you log in to Verizon site and go to change services, you should see how things change if you change services.

    Just out of curiosity I want to know whether is it possible to downgrade a database from a higher version to a lower version like say from oracle 10g to oracle 9i on a windows machine?And are there any practical situations where you might want to downgrade a database in a real time scenario ?

    If the real world, I don't see much of the need to downgrade your database. You should have done thorough testing and preparation before upgrade.

  • WRT160N Severe Problem, Cant upgrade (downgrade) firmware PLEASE HELP!!!

    Had this router running for acouple weeks. Its had that **bleep** connection problem but just today it got even worse. About every 30 seconds it will lose connection to the modem and internet for about 2 seconds. So even if i try to upgrade my firmware down to 008 i dont get the chance. The upgrade gets about 50% done and then i lose internet and it fails. **bleep**?! please please please help

    If you have downloaded the firmware already then disconnect your modem from the router, and just connect a computer straight to the router on any one of the LAN Port's...
    Follow these steps to upgrade the firmware on the device : -
    Open an Internet Explorer browser page on a computer hard wired to the router...
    In the address bar type - 192.168.1.1...Leave the username blank & in password use admin in lower case...
    Click on the 'Administration' tab- Then click on the 'Firmware Upgrade' sub tab- Here click on 'Browse' and browse the .bin firmware file and click on "Upgrade"...
    Wait for few seconds until it shows that "Upgrade is successful"  After the firmware upgrade, click on "Reboot" and you will be returned back to the same page OR it will say "Page cannot be displayed".
    Now reset your router :
    Press and hold the reset button for 30 seconds...Release the reset button...Unplug the power cable from your router, wait for 30 seconds and re-connect the power cable...Now re-configure your router...
