Bin, cores, usr..... ect are shown in my drive... why?

i'm having a really big problem with my macbook....??
so many files are shown in my hard drive like (bin, cores, usr..... ect)????
before it wasn't shown, after i erase my drive and installed the new mac ox 10.5 it's shown, and it's really complicated know when i enter to my hard drive search for the application folder between alot of system files i think.
please is there anyway to hide these unwanted folders?

Hi Steve, I hadn't had occasion to try the .hidden file in Leopard, so I just now used it to hide my Developer folder...sure enough, the Finder will still read a .hidden file. Imagine that!
However, Apple seems to once again have changed its methodology for hiding such items from the GUI. The New Official Method is to set the invisible flag for most of the items. To see if the flag has been set you use a list all long form, with a capital letter O (which adds the flag in the output):

Hit the return key. Here's a sample of the output you should see:

The things that you shouldn't see have the hidden flag. You can add the hidden flag with this Terminal command if it is missing:
NoobiX:~ francine$ sudo chflags hidden /bin
You'll be asked for your admin password, which is not echoed to the screen in any way whatsoever, so type carefully! Hit the return key again. After you have issued the chflags command for each item you wish to be hidden you can relaunch the Finder.

Thanks to the-edmeister and cor-el, for speed of response. I had not inadvertently moved the Bookmarks-Toolbar : I was confronted with the situation right after Firefox 9 had installed and unfolded in front of me. At first, the toolbar area looked reassuringly familiar, but when I started normal work, I discovered the lack of tabs and the only reference I could see to TABS was a tiny button inviting me to group tabs (which was unhelpful to say the least, filling up the screen with tiny unreadable windows). Sure, there were tabs forming, but they were invisible, unless I used the group button. Eventually, I was brave enough to use "reset toolbars" and the tabs came back in the way I want them, but it was a traumatic 2-3 hours out of my life. I kept on "adding a new toolbar" to see if I could make use of it; I kept giving them names, but it is impossible to see where the new tool bar is! (the toolbars don't have a little bit to grab at one end). In my opinion, Firefox should not have allowed the Tab Bar and the Bookmarks Toolbar to become caught up with each other - they have completely different functions. I don't think I would like to play around with "Make a new profile"! I was so desperate that I have already downloaded version 3.6 again, ready to install, for if I was unable to resolve the version 9 problems above.

1) Is it possible to restrict the filter values that are shown in the selection screen in BEx web? When a user are asked to enter a material number and uses the selection button in BEx web, he should only see material numbers for one specific plant. How is this done?
2) Is it possible to remove the selection button for å characteristic filter in the selection screen in BEx web? The selection button I am talking about is the button to the right of where you enter the filter value (two white papers on top of each other). If there is no solution for question 1 we have to go for question 2 solution.
We are using BI 04s, SP 09.

Hi Erik,
It seems that you would like the user to see value for 1 single plant. If the Plant Value is fixed then you can use this value in the Query and hardcode it.> in the query go to the Plant Chrac and keep a constant value of the Plant.
How ever if you need this value to be dynamic then use a variable for customer exit and populate this value using ABAP.

Dear all,
we need to create a query ready for input but we need to avoid that the invalid combinations of two characteristic on wors are shown.
In fact the system presents the inconsistent combination as not editable.
Could you please suggest how to avoid this?

We have in the level two chars (ZC1 and ZC2; ZC2 is attribute of ZC1) and here you can see the values

The requiremet is that the user can plan by ZC1 and ZC2, but that he has a total row by ZC2 (not editable).
That's why I defined a structure on the rows with restrictions for ZC1 and ZC2, according to the master data relationship, and put the structure on the rows.
I defined a hierarchy for ZC1 where nodes are values of char ZC2 and I set this in the characteristic relationship for the provider. here is the hierarchy.

    PREVAI
    GUASAI
BT
    PREVBT

The result is that in the best option I see in the query invalid combinations such as BT PREVAI.

1. iTunes won't offer cloud downloads for songs that it "thinks" are in your library, even if it "knows" the files are missing. If you've exhaustively searched for the missing files and there is no prospect of repair by restoring to them to their original locations, or connecting to new ones, then delete that tracks that display both the missing exclamation mark and are of media kind Purchased/Protected AAC audio file. Don't hide from iTunes in the cloud when asked, close iTunes, then reopen. You can download from the cloud links or iTunes Store > Quicklinks > Purchased > Music > Not on this computer > All songs > Download all.
2. Why? Not sure, perhaps 3rd party tools or accidental key presses combined with previously hidden warning messages when trying to organize the library. There is a hint that using the feature to downsample media as it is synced to a device may also be involved, though I've not replicated it. Whatever the reason a backup would protect your media.

I used to have this problem.
First, you need to go back on iTunes
you need to go to each of the songs that are having this problem
Click the album so all the songs drop down
Right click the songs that have this problem
Click ' Get info '
Click the tab that says " info '
The box that says ' album artist ' should probably be empty (correct me if I'm wrong)
Click it and type the artist of the entire album, NOT the songs guest artist
as such,

These should be separate for each artist
If you write the same album artists for each song by that artist, all the songs should be on 1 album

Why my tracks are not shown in Album view and Artist view, only Album Artworks are shown???

I have not have this problem in the previous version of iTune. As soon as i upgraded it to iTunes 11, it happens.
The problem in here is all my songs, tracks are still here, i can see all of them in "songs view". However, when i change the view to Album View, and click into the Album artwork, there is no track there. When i double click into the Album Artwork, the first song of the album will be played normally.
Same story to the Artist View. Only the Album Artworks are shown and the rest is completely blank.
I have absolutely no idea what is going on here and obviously i am not satisfy with this new version.
Is there any way for me to fix this problem? Please help!
Otherwise i will need to use other software for music playing.

How can I convert (or switch) the RGB percent values from the LR histogram into RGB values which are shown e. g. in PS/CameraRAW?

In LR 5.5 (same in previous versions) the RGB values in the histogram are shown in percent (relativ) values. I prefere to see the absolute values, but I can`t find any way to switch. Maybe this option is intentional disabled, because LR works in 16-Bit mode this would result in values up to 2^16. But as i compared the relativ values from LR with the absolute values from PS i run into a conversion problem. The following example shows the differences:
CameraRAW : RGB, 128,0,0
Lightroom: RGB, 43,8%, 19,0%, 6,2%
CameraRAW: RGB, 0,128,0
Lightroom: RGB, 29,8%, 47,5%, 17,5%
Mainly i have two questions:
1. Is there any possibility to change the percent RGB values in LR to absolut values?
2. How can i convert CameraRAW values to LR values (see above)?

TThe reason that a design decision was made from the beginning of LR to show only the percentage values was that RGB values are dependent on the color space and the LR histogram and numerical readout are derived from the Develop module's display space which is a hybrid color space with ProPhoto RGB primaries and the sRGB TRC. Thus the numerical values in the display would be different from the exported RGB image (in an orthodox space) and it was feared that this would be misleading. When soft proofing was introduced, because it involved converting the display to an orthodox space, it became possible to use the 0-255 scale in that mode.

We are using the 2007 UI and I have the following problem. Only activities of the current calendar year are shown in plannend activities and interaction history.
SAP probably made a query only showing a set of data (current year) for performance reasons. I would like to change this in the last 6 months. My users can not see there activities of last week since it only shows 2009.
How can this be changed?

Now visualize the 'page' but WITHOUT the margin and the entries in it. It just disappeared while I was editing photos.
I've tried all the 'File', 'Edit', 'View', 'Share' 'Window' & 'Help' options, but no success.
There is no apparent way of calling up onto the screen any photos, folders etc. because I can't get the margin and its contents back onto the iphoto page.
I've tried restoring the page from my backup, where it is all perfect, but that didn't work.
Help please!

No users are shown for Service Desk functionality in SOLMAN 4.0

I would like to set up the business partners for Service Desk in SAP Solution Manager.
If I choose the solution and execute "Edit --> Create Business partner" for the SAP R/3 4.7 then I get the warning no users are shown under the system.
For the SAP SRM 5.0 I get only one user (SOLMAN<SID><CLNT>), meanwhile I set the data selection to blank.
I also copied the user account of SOLMAN<SID><CLNT> to the user test with no success.
I have assigned the Object S_RFC_ and S_USER_GRP.
The users have also the profile SAP_ALL.
How can this problem be solved?

Im my case was necessary to apply SAP Note 1055630.
I have assigned the role "SAP_SM_S_USER_GRP" to the user with RFC_READ connection, refreshed the last alert in DSWP and tha is.

Ans. 1. Either user should have SAP_ALL + S_RFC.. it is very important to have S_RFC object. SAP excluded S_RFC from SAP_ALL for the security reason.
or , any user should have authority to create and delete users + S_RFC, S_RFCACL & S_T-CODE.. I just did my setup, so I remember after searching for long long....
Ans. 2. you need the following RFC's for sattelite system;

>>> SM_<SID>CLNT(CLIENT#)_TRUSTED
