.BIN.. results found do not work

I see a heap of replies saying that stuffit opens these but the fact is it will not.
I just bought a sample pack off the net (2 cd) and I got a link via email and they are .bin files.
I have bought the full stuffit suite but this does NOT open any of the cd bin files. I do not believe that the download is corrupt either.
So is there a way (please do not mention stuffit) to either burn these to a CD or expand them?

All I wanted to do is access the files inside the .bin files. If that meant I had to burn the .bin file to cd first then that is fine with me.
But yeah the 2 are not the same, but in saying that the end goal was still achieved, which is the important thing.
But to answer your previous questions:
Mac info is at the bottom of my posts
and stuffit is version 11 and the full suite.

Just make your default browser working.
Goto configuration in settings and select correct settings for default config. Settings and preferred access point and select default in all apps and select yes.
Now your default browser should be working for downloads.

DirectAccess on Server 2012 R2 with Single NIC behind NAT on IPv4 only Corporate Network Results in "DNS Not Working Properly"

I hit this problem at a customer site and can re-produce it in a simple lab. Lab environment: servers:
1x Server 2012 R2 DC and DNS server - DC1 - 10.0.0.1
1x Server 2012 R2 DirectAccess (DA) server - DA1 - 10.0.0.100
Servers are running "Update" (KB2919355) and following DA hotfixes:
KB2929930
KB2966087
I configured DA (via advanced wizard) as follows:
DA and remote access
AD group
directaccess-webprobehost DNA (A) record pointing to 10.0.0.100
behind an edge device (with a single network adapter)
SSL certificate from enterprise root CA issued to directaccess.contoso.com
NLS on remote server using https://nls.corp.contoso.com
DNS: corp.contoso.com = 10.0.0.1; nls.corp.contoso.com = ""
DNS suffix search list = corp.contoso.com
The DNS server validates successfully in the configuration UI.
With this configuration, I get a static IPv6 address of fd79:7a37:cbd9:3333::1/128 assigned to the NIC
The operations status is all green apart from DNS which displays the following error:
"DNS: Not Working Properly"
Error:
None of the enterprise DNS servers fd79:7a37:cbd9:7777::a00:1 used by DirectAccess clients for name resolution are responding. This might affect DirectAccess client connectivity to corporate resources.
Causes:
Enterprise DNS servers fd79:7a37:cbd9:7777::a00:1 are not responding.
I can, however ping fd79:7a37:cbd9:7777::a00:1 (which is the DNS64 translation of 10.0.0.1)
I would like to know what checks are failing as there are no failures in Event Viewer.
I have come across forums where people have the same issue and fix it by specifying the local IP (in this case 10.0.0.100) as the DNS server, however Richard Hicks has confirmed with me that the DNS server should be set to the DNS server, not the DA server's
IP.

Android kitkat issue in loading swf file from device. URL found but not working

I am facing one issue from a very long time regarding file access in Android Kitkat version 4.4.*. I have developed Adobe Air player application for android and it is working as expected below kitkat version but not on kitkat.

Starting in KitKat, Google requires that applications have permission to access files on the system. You must specifically add either the READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE or WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE permissions in order to access files. Adding either one of those permissions should let you read/access files on the device. Prior to KitKat, you didnt have to have these permissions listed in the manifest to access files.

Copied page has resulted in javascript not working

I have a page 6 that works great with its javascript functions in the HTML Header.
I wanted to try some different things on the page without messing up the master, so I copied page 6 to page 2006. The page definition's HTML Header code for page 2006 looks just like the page 6 page definition's HTML Header code.
However, when I run page 2006, my javascript functions do not work. NOTE: The javascript functions are simple and mainly show and hide functions for fields.
I used the copy wizard in Apex 3.0.
Does anyone have an idea what might have happened? Or is there a better way to copy a page?

You were right. Inside my javascript functions I had forgotten to change the code to reflect the items on page 2006 (i.e. P2006_NAP_ID instead of P6_NAP_ID).
So now everything is good there. Thank you.
I have another question though.....why would my new page's CREATE button not work properly after the page copy? I checked and compared the P2006 CREATE button and its Branch that returns to same page with the P6 CREATE button and its Branch. And it looks like it is correct. However, when I click the P2006 CREATE button, the data is submitted to database and an id is made for the new record; but, when the page refreshes after the submit, all of the fields are blank. There are no values displayed. It is in a state of being ready for a new record to be created.
What have I lost? Can you tell me what I should check out?

Ranking Results for Search not working

We have just installed a trial version of RoboHelp Server 8. I have published 2 test projects in FlashHelp Pro using RH8. When we test the search results feature, the results display in the order the topic is found in the TOC instead of H1, Keywords, H2/H3, etc.
I have looked high and low to find a setting that may be dictating this, but have found none. Is there something I'm missing?
Oh and since I like to eat my cake too, is there a way to display a percentage of the result (i.e., topic one 80% meets search criteria, topic two 65% meets search criteria)?

John -- thank you for your reply. I did read the post that you referred to, but that's not how this is working. Neither Server nor Client side search is ranking the results correctly, well at least I don't think so.
Server Side Search
When I search on Activities I get the following results in this order (all topics are in the TOC)
1. Notepad Overview - word in text only.
2. Empower Main Screen Layout - H3, H4, text
3. Editing Activities - Topic Title, File Name, H1, text
4. Adding Activities - Topic Title, File Name, H1, text
5. Activities Overview - Topic Title, File Name, H1, text
The items above are in the TOC in this order from top to bottom: 2, 1, 5, 4, 3.
Client Side Search
When I search on Activities I get: "No Topics Found".
Other topics I search on seem to display. The results don't display in TOC order, however, they also don't display based on the rank as defined in the Help or the Post you recommended.
Neither search works if I enter keywords in quotes. Nothing happens at all when I use quotes. At the moment, none of the Actitives topics have keywords.
Slight tangent: I am using, or trying to, FlashHelp Pro. Although the Online Help states I can select substring search and context results, there are no options on the layout screen to select this nor on the Window options. I see this if I setup the FlashHelp layout, but the client really wants the reports and other features that Pro offers so I need to get Pro to work as it should.
RoboHelp Admin Info
When I log into the Administrative side of RoboServer the Settings page displays Database and Search options when setup for Server Side search. When setup for Client Side Search, the Sever option disappears. If we stick with Server Side searching, what does it mean by "rescan search engine"?
Is it possible that something wasn't selected correctly during the RoboServer Install? The IT department sits in a totally different state that I'm in and I don't know what the defaults are during the install process as I'm not there and we are doing this all via email.
PS: Not to throw another wrench into this issue, but....we are not using an Index. This is the first time I have created Online Help without an Index. Is this having some sort of impact on the search functionality that I am unaware of?

EA1/EA2/RC1/2.1.1 - copy from result set does not work as expected

When I highlight a field in the result set and press "command+c" (I am on Mac) or use "Copy" from the menu, then content of the field is not copied to clipboard. You have to go to edit mode, mark the whole content of the field and then use "Copy".
By the way, should I describe all the bugs that I have found so far in this forum or is there any other "official" bug reporting?

All I can suggest is the standard troubleshooting steps in order.
Restart your phone: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until a red slider appears, and then drag the slider. Then press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset your phone: Press and hold both the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

When exporting project, result file does not work 100%

My version: CS4 Premiere Pro
My set up: Vista Ultimate 32bit, 8GBRAM, NVidia Quadro FX 5600 Driver v: 191.78
My issue:
I have a footage of about 2.5 hours. It is a seminar I recorded. It was recorded on a Sony Handycam CX-100 HD camera. I want to export my project to H.264 format so the client can take a look at the footage and provide cue points for editing.
The only thing I added to the video was timecode for the client set cue points. When I export project I select H.264 and save it as Hight DV quality 720x480.
My problem is that when Encore finish processign the video, I open it to check if it is working and I find that after minute 40 the video frezees and I can only hear audio.
What is wrong? Am I forgetting a setting before saving the video? If I save the video on a Windows format, it plays ok.

Clicking the + button, the > button, or on the result directly doesn't do anything at all.

There is an extension you can install which adds a "Parent Folder" column in the Library dialog (Ctrl+Shift+b). It has an option to show the full path instead of just the parent folder.

the parts i had searched on google are specificaly the
"/usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu/4.5.1/../../../../lib/crt1.o: In function `_start':
(.text+0x12): undefined reference to `__libc_csu_fini'
/usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu/4.5.1/../../../../lib/crt1.o: In function `_start':
(.text+0x19): undefined reference to `__libc_csu_init'"
does anyone have an idea of what could it be?
notice that this doesn't bother me because if i use the glibc from the repositories everything works fine, this is just for curiosity of why it doesn't work

You have stripped glibc too much. See the Arch PKGBUILD and make sure your makepkg.conf has STRIP_BINARY etc defined.
